Rico was WAAAAAAAAY over with the crowd during his face run despite never really getting a strong push. No one even cared about Charlie Haas after his partner Rico got injured despite the tag team itself being really over. Rico was the one getting all the pops. Self Posted February 6, 2015 Share Posted February 6, 2015 NXT was fun again this week. I'd never seen Enzo Amore and Big Cass do their thing before. It's awesome. Very Road Dogg. The girl they have with them takes it down a notch, more due to her being a heel and them being such lovable babyfaces. They are babyfaces, right? I continue to not 'get' Baron Corbin. Itami/Balor was okay. I wasn't blown away. The NXT crowd seem to connect to big impressive spots and comedy, and that's not really what either of these guys do. They strike. They dropkick. They do holds. They're both really good, but I wasn't blown away by this one. Balor's entrance isn't as good when he's wearing his merch. milamber Posted February 6, 2015 Share Posted February 6, 2015 NXT Review: Carmella vs Emma - OK match. Carmella has a good gimmick and finisher. Let's hope she learns fast. They really need to sign Blue Pants. Neville vs Corbin - Solid match until Bull predictably cost Corbin the match. Corbin needs to get in better shape and add some moves to his arsenal. Bayley vs Lynch - Solid match. Bayley's finisher is too weak. Itami vs Balor - This would have been a MOTY contender but it lacked a compelling story for obvious reasons. It was so stiff at times it was like watching Japanese wrestling which was fitting. Definitely the best match either guy has had in NXT. Zayn vs Owen Hype Video - Awesome! I'm so conflicted about who should win. I almost want Owens to win and Sami to chase the title again. Either way they need to keep the feud going until Zayn gets the call-up. Verdict: Good go-home show. The dropkick at half-speed The Best of Smackdown: - Reigns knocking out Miz as soon as he entered the ring for Miz TV - Ziggler/Ryback tag team because the division needs fresh blood and it's better than having them job. - Reigns busting out Move #6 (Fireman's Carry Flapjack) on Miz - Bryan vs Rollins, Noble & Mercury was fun The rest of the show wasn't worth watching. They're just using Enzo & Cass to get her over. Funny thing is they put more effort into introducing her opponents than they do Carmella (on purpose I think). For what it's worth, Triple H seems to have a soft spot for Sandow - including him in the DX reunion at Raw 1000, and the Clique reunion last month.
