It's not a surprise that ratings are lower. Obviously though they do great because USA is promoting their move to Tuesday nights and going live, if they were falling hard USA wouldn't have even bothered picking up Smackdown less than a year ago, let alone be marketing this move to Tuesdays like it is a big deal.</p>

<p>Any word on the tiered pricing they were thinking of for the Network? I think it was Triple H that had floated the question out for having the main shows (RAW and SD) added the following day for $3.00 more.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm assuming they would leave the $9.99 alone (and you'd get the RAW/SD replays 4 weeks later) and for $12.99 you'd get RAW on Tuesday and SD on Wednesday.</p><p> </p><p>

Would there be any traction for that?</p>

I'm actually surprised they chose Randy. I was thinking either Cesaro or Sheamus. (or maybe if they really wanted to they could have gone for Sami Zayn) Nonetheless, Randy hasn't returned yet so you never know, maybe he'll have a few matches on RAW before his match against Brock.

All I know is that it's going to be a interesting match. (And possibly a dream match I think)

Having Lesnar squash (at best it will be a glorified squash) a popular babyface would put heat on WWE. Sheamus wouldn't be exciting enough to promote. Orton has nothing to lose after being off TV so long and still has name value, so he was the only real option.

4th of July and Tribute to the Troops are the 2 most skippable shows every year. At least the Xmas and Halloween episodes have fun street fights.

Make Darren Young great again! I lolled hard when he won the battle royale. Well, that's interesting. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Wyatt Compound was better than Final Deletion. I'll just leave this here. *whistles inconspicuously*

Agreed. The Wyatt Compound had a nice horror movie vibe going. Some very subtle racism at the end with a "we dont take kindly to your type round here". While I don't want to say racism is good in any shape or form, it helped the story here.

I'd love that. Now I have to download all the shows through bittorrent to keep up, which is a lot of extra work for something I pay for. WWE network is just for PPV's en NXT. I can't even watch it on my notebook if I'm not home given it struggles to play HQ videos (and there's no option for LQ).

It's what the lowered ratings indicate. Few people still watch TV on the traditional way.

<p>Wow, Vince announced that RAW and Smackdown will be controlled by Steph and Shane, what a surprise... I never saw that coming.</p><p> </p><p>

I miss the times when Vince didn't want to "insult the audience's intelligence".</p>

<p>I didn't see the segment, but was the surprise more at that they would each have a GM under them?</p><p> </p><p>

Also, if it wasn't Steph & Shane, people would be crapping over it "It makes no sense! The build up was for them to be the ones leading the brand extension."</p><p> </p><p>

Hope we see Laurinitis on RAW, playing kiss ass to Steph and Teddy Long on Smackdown working with Shane.</p>

Someone like Coach (in the Bischoff days) would be great for Raw. There is no way that Steph would pick someone that would challenge her. And Shane, being the face, would probably pick someone that he would work alongside.

Any truth to the rumor that AJ Styles and Cena will be the figureheads of SD with Seth Rollins being the main guy on Raw (with Roman playing second fiddle to him)? Someone had said that people backstage were pushing for AJ to feature prominently - not unlike Stone Cold has done on his podcast and other interviews.

It'd be good to see that (AJ benefiting, not necessarily Roman suffering).

Trips on RAW would be a fresh take on the formula. In any event, the autority angle has run its course. Let's not have that anymore. I'm liking the rumor it's Daniel Bryan, but there could be better alternatives (though I can't come up with any atm except BookerT). I'm also curious to the nature of the brand extension. Ready to be surprised. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
