The Dynamite Sid
EC3 is rumored to go next Now there's a guy who never got a fair shake in WWE and I would love to see back. I doubt it, but it'd be great

The Final Countdown
I haven't watched TNA in years bar a once in a blue moon turn in due to Broken Hardys curiosity, but to me these departures felt like a possible silver lining. What you're doing isn't working; blow it up, cut costs and start anew. Focus on building a new crop of guys from the ground up, like you should've been doing all along. Then I read this note from the Impact tapings that'll be happening tonight (likely SPOILER below in white): Del Rio is at the tapings and has apparently signed a full-time deal with the company. That dude doesn't come cheap, and if he's coming in he'll almost certainly be pushed to the very top. So much for "rebuilding" or "youth movement." Might as well watch it burn while it's still here.
milamber
I doubt they sign Del Rio. From what I've read TNA will absorb GFW and they will focus on pushing younger talent not wasting big money on well-known wrestlers.

jjohns44
Man.... maybe last week was just the jitters of rebooting and getting a lot of things out of their system, but it seemed like a lot of problems still plagued the company.

I can get behind it being called Impact Wrestling. It's sad to see TNA in the shape that it is, because I do feel they could be a WWE alternative to those who get released or don't feel like they're being used to their full potentials; but the ridiculous storylines, angles, and awkward matches.. trying to be something they are not and playing the blame game, giving title wins to former WWE world champs on their first night(I can see this happening once in a while but really, it seems like every time the red carpet gets rolled out for them while their own homegrown stars get left in the dark)

if they even last another year or two, I hope they at least TRY. WWE went through some rough patches a few times, particularly during the mid 2000s(while TNA was actually thriving) it could happen again, they just gotta find their rhythm again..

jwt13
http://i.imgur.com/PZFSPC5.png He was right for this though, the contracts Dixie was giving out were bleeding money and the first think Anthem had to do to make TNA a profitable company was to restructure contracts to be more of a balanced agreement instead of giving talents whatever they wanted like Dixie was doing. Plus The Broken gimmick had stopped drawing after the FD they get the same ratings actually a litte higher since they left.
milamber
I agree that TNA/Impact need to drop the big money earners but it hasn't stopped them from bringing in that MMA guy, Del Rio and Cody, none of whom would have been cheap.

The problem is (if what I read is true) the Hardys all but agreed to a fair contract for the important work they had done in creating buzz for the company but Athem waited until the last moment and lowballed them.

milamber
Between all of WWE, LU and a few ROH, Evolve & NJPW events a year I haven't got the time to watch Impact. Cageside Seats does a good weekly recap, though, which always includes few highlight videos, so I can keep up with what's happening.

Warhawk8492
None of the commentary teams you mentioned are as bad as Randy Randy Rosenbloom from Heroes of Wrestling, that man did not even know basic wrestling terminology.
