[HYPE] C-Verse 2001

Recommended Posts

With TEW10 right around the corner, I thought it would be a good time to announce this. I was planning this for a 08 release but this will now be released only for 2010. Although I am not asking for help, I would like to get some thoughts, Ideas well anything really from some of the people who worked on the 75' and 97' databases but everyone is welcome to give their imput.

(Note:These rosters are a first draft so to speak, I got these from the info I got from their bios, title historys ect I have added a few people to curtain promotions but most I havernt. The rosters will grow I just want people to check them out first.)

Funny, I was just asking about this mod like yesterday. I'm quite happy now.

Just wondering, The SWF roster looks awfully light, you might want to add in some people who may not have it in their bio that they were in SWF but realistically could have, in the same way that Derek_B threw in guys such as the Masked Mauler in order to balance things out.

The same goes for NOTBPW's women's division. Considering it's cannon that it started in 1997, surely the women's division would have more than 3 in it?

Enygma should definitely be on the SWF roster, but not under that name. Derek had an SWF midcarder in the 1997 mod who would one day become Enygma, so you might want to check into that. Also, I'd shy away from making American Elemental a part of the HGC roster. To me, at least, one of the big appeals to the character is that he still hasn't really broken out in the United States.

I am yet to go though the 97' Mod but with his permission of course I will be importing and updating things from that data.

As for American Elemental, No rosters are final at this stage lol

This looks fantastic so far. NOTB looks alot of fun with the Japanese Stone students. I agree with the idea to leave USPW out at the start and have them emerge early into the simulation. That way it frees up workers ya want to in insert into other places and makes it historically correct. I will be watching and offering input when and if I have it. KUTGW!

Hmmmm I want the game world to be a Jan 2001 start date but it really does make more sense if It was a July 2001 start.

I want this to be historically correct as possible but because their are lot of holes in the history so not everything will be 100% correct. well Someone has pointed out Sam Pratt doesnt debut until 2002 but as SWF dont have a development promotion whos to say Sam wasnt hired and jobbed out as apart of his "training" before his "debut"

I'd say go for July man. Derek B when he converted the C-Verse 75 from 07 to 08 advanced the game 9 months and I think people saw that it made sense.

Starting in July I think would be more interesting because I know alot of people enjoy taking the reins of a company that's just formed. In the C-Verse 97 mod (check it out, you can get it from http://www.bobinc.net. It's so good people accept it as cannon and a lot of workers appear in it that you could incorporate into this) the game starts just as HGC (what would become TCW) forms, and it's up to the player to crown it's first champions.

BTW the more I think about C-Verse 2001 the more I like it. It's at a very unique time in the C-Verse. HGC has a hardcore division, NOTBPW is filled with Japanese students, DAVE is soaring to new heights (will it be Cult btw?) all great stuff.

I'll agree with Celt here man. Start with July as probably a lot of things are going to spark interest with the mod. Plus yeah C-Verse '01 will be indeed interesting. HGC will probably in the middle of Cult & National. DaVE will end up as Cult probably after rising up from regional level. I'd love to play DaVE in this era and I'll be looking forward to it. SCCW has to be a regional level, I have high hopes and Jack Griffith is a very hot prospect then. USPW will start probably regional also so yeah.

Is it just me though or is CZCW's roster kinda small for a small promotion?

I was thinking the sizes for things...I'm thinking that if DAVE is set at Cult with even lower popularity than in 07 it'll crash for anyone who plays as them longer than 9 months. Maybe setting DAVE to regional but with good pop across the country and tv deal: similar to USPW in 07. SCCW I think should be small because I don't see it being as big as USPW at the time.

It doesn't say in his bio. It says that him and Rich Money feuded in USPW. He debuts in 2000 so I bet you could put him and Rich Money in there.

Yep Rick Law is in USPW i missed adding him from my list. I have made some updates to some of the rosters.

Based on the C-Verse97 mod:

MOSC are missing Ryan Death, Donny Damage, The Dublin Destroyer and The Juicer (Neil Taylor). Optional additions can be Red Dragon, The Landlord, Mike Peterson, and most of all Pyscho

NYCW could add Jungle Jack and Corporal Doom if needed.

Hinnote Dojo is also missing.

CZCW is missing Chris Perkins (Insane Machine), Taylor Morton (Acid), The Gilbert Brothers, and Flying Jimmy Foxx. Optional additions can be Flex and Pecs, Nathan Priest (Whippy the Clown), Sliver Shark, and Dog Fyte (Omar Brown).

Eric Tyler may still work as CGC also at this, although it's a judgement call.

Mammoth needs to be at either NOTBPW or CGC.

NOTBPW is missing April Appleseed, and Richard Coleman

DAVE is missing Pablo Rodriguez

AAA is missing the Brandon Sisters, Helen Bach, and Carol Singer. In C-Verse 97 a number of girls from the NOTBPW womens division also work AAA in order to gain experience; this is handy way to increase AAA's roster.

4C could pick up Babylon and Andy Otto. These were two workers created to fill gaps in the C-Verse and they seemed to have worker well, with permission (which I'm sure you could get easily) they can be imported from CV97's data.

ROF are missing Rolling Johnny Stones,

Leo Price needs a promotion, as may Johnny Highspot, Jamie Anderson, and Chuck Frisby.

I havernt decided with which one im going to use as a base I need to see what 2010 is like first lol
