TEW10 Render Thread

Recommended Posts

I'm going to say I am really, VERY PLEASED and proud of you guys with all this free rendering going on. I haven't been so happy about this thread in a good while, and your all great.

Yeah, there are little bursts like this sometimes where various people are making new renders. Never a bad thing.

One more from me. Not new, just a random render lurking on my laptop. No plans for it whatsoever, so free for use should anyone want it...

Can't even remember why I made it. Probably just to test the hairstyle.

I'm almost embarrassed to post this, considering the work that's been shown in here, but this was my first attempt at a render. I was disappointed though, I couldn't figure out how to get the face morphs to load so I just changed the head all together.

Any feedback is appreciated. I know the tank doesn't line up right it was a custom piece for a model for M3 it looked good until I turned him to the side then the flaw was evident, so i tried hiding it best i could with the arm.

This guy TOTALLY looks like a more chiseled version of former FPC Tag Team Champion Z-Train (the "Bows" half--cuz he throws Elbows--of the feared "Ribbons & 'Bows" duo with a dude named Heavy Devy).

:D

Still can't get the morphs to load. When I checked the website about problems with morphs loading and all it returned was a morph loader:mad: Do i need this in addition to the morphs ++ pack? I hope not because they double charged my card and I can't find a contact number to reach them at, just a number for tech support.

I've never had to get a refund so i'm not sure where exactly to go, but I heard that daz3d is very good about giving refunds

also the loader for M4 should have come with the base, it should be in your Available downloads, if not then view download history and reset the M4 Base and redownload every file with it.

But the artistic style and flavor is what I'm talking about. These renders have personality! Some had alot of personality in the "old days", but ussually it would be one out of 10 or 20 that someone especially liked, and would tweak and model in different poses to give that exceptional characterization. However, it seems like every single render now, is "special". Love the realistic bodies, and I even like the more dramatic "steriod" looking bodies as well.

Anyways, I just wanted to say thankyou, and Keep up the great work!

I have to agree with you on this subject mate, these renders are just fantastic and they all really do look like real humans with personality.

Self I must say the renders you have been giving us are fantastic. I am going to be using them a lot I think. Love the characters as the pictures themselves give a lot of personality to what you have done.

Personality is important. I guess it helps that most of these guys have names, gimmicks and backstories before I even open Daz. Also, having them look at the camera helps. Eye contact rules!

Speaking of backstories, here are two more freebie renders with connections to my previous 'Firestarter'. First up, his manager. He starts fires. She puts them out... turning the hose on herself when she needs to cool down ;) I used her as my User Character in a long-term BSC game I had going a while back. Nice to have some colour on the roster.

... and this was intended to be Firestarter's older brother. An incredible worker, but physically small, he's been stuck in the shadows for years, working in barns and bowling alleys while his younger, larger, inferior brother works in some of the world's biggest arenas. Angry. Bitter. It's Jackson Rush!

http://i345.photobucket.com/albums/p366/celdom/Full/JacksonRushFull.jpghttp://i345.photobucket.com/albums/p366/celdom/Full/JacksonRush.jpg

That's how I planned to use them anyway. These pictures are available for anyone to use, so let your imaginations run wild. If you find them particularly useful in your own stuff, I'd love to hear about it.

These, like all your other renders are fantastic. I'm desperately trying to think up a reason to use The Barristers and the manager above is going to be wedged in somewhere too. Awesome work and very generous of you as well, I hope you realise how much we all appreciate your hard work :D

Keep up the great work!

thanks for the link i'll check it out here in a little bit.

the loader was there well at least there was something called a power loader or something of that nature. I re-installed it just in case. Maybe i'm not doing it right but this is what i do:

base model -> inject morphs -> inject morphs ++ -> inject muscle morphs -> choose desired morph

then i get the loading screen like its going to do something, then nothing happens after the loading bar hits 100% and closes itself out.

any suggestions would be appreciated thanks in advance.

Which of you classic renderers made and rendered the title belt textures for the original 10 belts that come with TEW?

I'd like to know so I can get those textures (or the source pics) and make new belts out of them (also so Linsolv can make InkScape versions too).

I've already gotten Original 02, 08, and 09 and finished them up already, I just need the other source belt pics.

Thanks in advance.

inside daz i can find them, if you mean the folder i've never really checked for it but i could probably find it if need be.

I meant while in Daz Studio. Just wanted to make sure. I use Poser, although one day I mean to learn Daz.

In Poser, you select the body part (or whole body) to find the morphs you have installed on the model.

Example: I have Vicky 4 up. I select "Body" and in the window there are different area's I can expand on. When I expand I see things like "Bodybuilder 1" in it. Moving the "wheel" to the right causes that morph to appear on the model.

I want to make sure you understand that part.

When I want to install morphs from the "pose" room, I double click on the morphs I want from whichever folder they are in. That doesn't make the morph visible though, you have to select the bodypart to use it.

You might know all of this already, but I wanted to make sure:)

OMG A GHOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Here is a render I did testing out new lights before I retired

This guy could be a manager for Self's Barrister/Red Coat/Red Guard renders.

Yeah. Once you load the morphs, you need to go into parameters tab and use the loaded morphs

Thank you for this I didn't even know such a tab existed since it isn't visible when first opening the program. here's my latest attempt:

EDIT: Forgot to ask are there any good hair packs for M4?

That's pretty ace right there....but maybe setting Transparency on the lens to between 25% and 50% would make it look a little better.

Unless you wanted the "opaque" look on the shades. If that's the case, either way it's awesome.

He's got that mixture of arrogance and intrigue, like a pretty girl he just hit on is not taking the bait and he sees that as a challenge or something.

Ok, i'll bite. Here's a quick one.

Awesome work for a beginner... Looks just like the pro's!

I like the character as well. I could see the gimmick name being Texas Rattlesnake, or something like that. I think I would definately use him as a "Stone Cold" type, but leaving off the Stone Cold name. Probably call him something like Iceman Jack.

Saturday's freebie. This hunk of love was designed as a throwback to Big Daddy & Giant Haystacks. Big Fat Giants of the British wrestling scene back in the day.
