That last one, generic tag title, is a photograph of leather. I'm almost willing to put money on it. Almost. His "usual" style is a gradient, I think, but I'm really no expert. I would know, as I've saved them to MY presets as a result of perusing his publicly-offered PSDs (and the ones he sent me of my old requests). I assume he means bevel and emboss (which includes contouring), which is what gives the leather a 3d look rather than just a flat texture. I would guess it is also how ReapeR makes the edges of the strap look 'lower' than the main body. Gradients will have little (or likely nothing) to with the straps. Gradients are used in things like the background of the Cverse logos, a rainbow effect, that sort of thing. It's not anything custom, just textures that either come with Photoshop or ones I've downloaded. I use no gradients, rarely, on the strap itself. It's a basic highlight the strap, start new layer and stroke to get the outside edge. I usually bevel it and texture. The inside, strap itself is beveled and textured. That's really it. Also, PS is the shorthand for PhotoShop, naturally. Thus: "PS contouring" refers to the Bevel & Emboss in PhotoShop. Hope I was helpful. Too even and probably not enough subtle flaws for it to be real would be my first impression.
