And the LORD of title RendeRs emerged from the darkness that is the interweb, and in his might he called out of the four corners of the universe "Let the Zone be graced!", and from the depths of the void three gleaming titles emerged, each one shining with the brightness of a thousand suns and the beauty of a millions maidens dancing merrily. The LORD cast his eyes upon these works of magnificence and said "These seem good, might redo them again later to really make them look good" and left, returning to the shroud of the internet, leaving the people dazzled his absence, with only the glory of those titles to keep them in faith until his next visit. The people were thankful, and remained steadfast until his return. Amen.

If you can, I would like to have a NYCW King of New York Tournament title belt made. That show was a big hit in my old NYCW diary and I plan to bring it back for my new one.

Since I had it in my head to do this, plus, I enjoy your diary. :D

And a generic one.

Just for the record, I took a knee while I read this. :p

Loved it

Two things...

One, those CZCW belts are gorgeous. Just plain gorgeous. Nice work by Remi for the suggestion and great work on making belts that work on their own.

Two, your consistency floors me, Reaper. Lovely belt after lovely belt, each one standing on its own. Very little noticable repetition, and - it would seem - very rarely using a direct real world basis for given belts.

Amazing work, good sir.

This...

About 90% of the titles I do, start out from a real world title. I spend numerous times on Millican's belt page looking over the titles. Most of the time, I'm trying to find a nice plate design. Once I get an overall plate design, I start creating it and the title evolves from that point.

As always BP, thank you for the consistently kind words.

That doesn't surprise me about using basic shapes and designs. Personally, I can rarely pick out what was used as the basis, though. The "evolution" seems pretty major.

And "kind words" are easy when the recognition is deserved. KUTGW!

These look amazing, though the Coastal Zone Championship seems to be a tiny bit out of place with the deeper blue. Maybe you already tried it before going with the current color, but do you mind switching the scheme up and seeing how it looks?

I was hoping no one would bother with the different color scheme. Oh well. here you go.

*puffs his chest out*

No, seriously, it was just something that struck me and figured I'd throw it out there. Hard work was all you, ReapeR. Those look seriously smokin'. I'd have to respectfully disagree with foolinc though. The top title SHOULD look different from the lesser ones. It should stand out like the proverbial sore thumb because it's supposed to be more special and prestigious. At least in my opinion. For years, TNA's midcard title looked more visually impressive (as simple as it was) than its top title and that struck me as odd.

YAY! Now CZCW has current century hardware! :)

My video and audio are finished. I just need Payne's Google Video link (the one Reaper put on the first page isn't working) to add to it, and then I can post the raw finished video for public consumption. While I wait for that, I'm gonna put together a music underlay to accompany my douchey sounding voice.

The video is currently around 14 minutes long, minus credits and link.

:);):D:cool:

Thanks, Trell. Now I can add the link to the beginning of the video, again at the end, and a special thanks to everybody here (but mostly Payne and ReapeR for the inspiration to do this video in the first place).

BTW, I'll be posting my own previously-made belts in Liontamer's "Open Graphics Thread" soon after this for public consumption.

@ Reaper: You know, you can find some decent belt plate pics to start with at Top Rope Belts and Wildcat Belts. You don't have to limit yourself to Dave Millican...although as belt designers go, that's not a bad one to specialize in at all.

fullMetal,

First off, I appreciate you taking the time to create a tutorial. If I had the means and the patience to talk through my design process, I would have done one. So thank you.

As for plates, I agree, I have Top Rope, Wildcat and Reggie Parks' websites on my favorites for inspiration. However, Millican's page seems to have the best views of most titles. Plus, let's be honest, between the 4 sites, they still only have a handfull (ok, maybe 2 handfulls) of plate designs. :D

Can't wait to see the vid and your belt designs.

Thanks,

R

Just so no one is confused. I'm still not doing requests at the moment.

Remi just had some good ideas for these titles and I ran with it. :D
