Well, first thinks first, yes I´m back to torment you some more with my mediocre writing skills:D. For those of you who haven´t have bad enough luck to see my earlier attempts the sort story is that I started one diary in 2008 thread which stopped sort thanks to me buying TEW 2010. My second attempt run to year 2013 until I hit the brick wall called regional battle right after I hit small (It was in Europe and yes it took me until 2013 to hit the small in the first place). After some unsuccessful attempts to gain enough popularity to stay on small I gave up and decided to start a new game. Right, now that most of you have run away screaming it´s good time to tell what the deal is this time. I still run 0/0/0/0/ company like in my earlier diaries and it´s still called Eternal Studios Entertainment (ESE). The difference is that this time I have chosen more entertainment biased production setting than before so wrestlers are rated more on popularity than performance (instead of 50/50 split like in my earlier attempts). Other change is that I will start in UK (South UK to be precise) instead of Europe. This is mainly done in order to avoid hitting the same regional battle problem that stopped me last time (assuming that 21CW and MOSC go bankrupt like they usually do). My user character is Grand Avatar and all abilities are on 5. As usual I´m not big on back stories so I will just skip that one and move straight to the business. Below you can see the production settings and definitions that I use this time.

Product settings:

Key feature: Mainstream

Medium: Traditional

Low: Comedy, Hardcore

Heel/face divide: medium

No women division or T&A level (not sure what that T&A level even is.)

Match ratio: 70%

Match intensity: 15%

Match danger: 30%

Production definitions:

Wrestlers are rated more on popularity than performance.

Wrestlers need to have proper gimmicks.

Fans don´t like highly risky or subtle gimmicks and gimmicks need to be simple.

Fans expect to have storylines to follow.

Fans will be put off on highly risky angles.

Very favorable towards getting sponsors.

Promotion won´t be rocked on wrestling industry changes and no young lions.

Roster:

I tried to avoid those financial troubles that haunted me last time so I tried to make sure that most of my guys that I signed will work for 150$ per appearance and I also decided to hire only unemployed guys. In fact I try to keep myself hiring other than unemployed guys as long as possible which shouldn´t be too hard if 21CW and MOSC goes out of business as they usually do. These two restrictions did reduce my options significantly but I managed to put together a roster while respecting those rules that I made. Unfortunately the side effect is that my roster is pretty bad outside the top four guys. I try to do with these guys but more than likely I need to get some more talented guys if I want to have even E or E+ shows anytime soon.

MAIN EVENTERS:

http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/344/arthurtturtle.jpg

Arthur T. Turtle

Age: 27

Face, Fan Favorite

Right, those that have read my diaries before likely know that Turtle is one of my favorites and he was a must in entertainment product, with C+ star quality, B- in charisma and Microphone plus good performance and flying skills. Unfortunately he wasn´t cheap with 500$ per appearance + 323$ travel expenses he is by far my most expensive guy plus he has negative backstage influence. But still I believe that he was worth getting especially if he is willing to drop those travel expenses on future contracts (for my experience it should happen). Turtle is my second most over guy with F+ popularity and he will likely be my top face for some time. His gimmick isn´t anything special (I pretty much have used same gimmick for him in my previous diaries), but it´s fit him well especially considering his position in my company.

http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/4507/chuckfrisby.jpg

Chuck Frisby

Age: 34

Heel, Weirdo

Well, I must admit that when I first started to think my roster I didn´t really considered Frisby at all, much less as my top heel and most over wrestler but that what he ended up to be, with his E- overness and good mic and performance skills. He´s also pretty cheap with just 450$ per appearance plus he has very positive backstage effect as well. Only slight minus is that he doesn´t have much star quality (E+), which might hurt him on the long run. I´m not fun of his comedy character that he used in 21CW so I decided to re-pack him as a darker character, who is obsessed to show how great he is and who is a little insane as well.

http://img682.imageshack.us/img682/2251/franksimmonsalt2.jpg

Frank Simmons

Age: 33

Heel, Evil Doer

If you had any doubts about my claims on my rosters low quality, this should be pretty much all the proof that you need. Simmons shouldn´t really be anywhere near on any main event scene but here he is. Simmons only saving grace is the fact that he has decent performance skills so maybe he could have E- matches with other guys (I hope:p). Simmons will likely find himself on my upper midcard soon since I have no plans to push him anywhere. Simmons has F overness in UK (yes that is good enough to warrant a main event spot here). I´m not big fan of his Evil Doer gimmick but there wasn´t much choice so that has to do. Simmons is working for just 150 per appearance.

http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/4246/martinheath.jpg

Martin Heath

Age: 21

Face, Blue Chipper

Heath got kicked out from ROF from the start as usual and it´s good thing for me since Heath is one of the few guys in my current roster that I believe can make a good match with pretty much anyone. Heath has good mic and performance skills and decent star quality rating (D). I consider Heath as my third best guy, after Frisby and Turtle, so he will get quite much screen time and is on line for a push (he´s current overness is only F across the UK). Heath´s Blue Chipper gimmick isn´t necessary the best possible (I use too many wholesome gimmicks and pretty much thread all of them on the same way:o) but unfortunately he is best with wholesome gimmicks so he will be using those gimmicks as long as he stays face. Heath makes 150$ per appearance.

UPPER MIDCARDS:

http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/4193/glenward.jpg

Glen Ward

Age: 26

Heel, Straight Edge

Ward is another guy who will be familiar to those who have read my earlier diaries. The difference is that last time he was a jobber but now he is going to get a push and I consider him as my fourth main eventer despite the fact that he is currently on upper midcard. Like his profile says he´s an all rounder which means that he has decent stats in pretty much anywhere and he´s one of my better talkers currently. Ward have F overness and is willing to work for 150$ per show like most of my non-main eventers. On the minus side he is a backstage problem but I hope that it doesn´t come into play too often. I originally considered using arrogant heel gimmick on Ward but decided to see what I could do with his default Straight Edge one first.

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3632/normangates.jpg

Norman Gates

Age: 23

Face, Biker

Gates makes 200$ per appearance but he has decent performance and entertainment skills to make up for that. Gates will likely stay as an upper midcarder since I don´t plan to push him but since I need to have three storylines running all the time and Gates is one of my better talkers he is going to be used on feuds a lot and thus will likely be somewhat over. Gates biker gimmick wasn´t exactly what I was looking for him but it should work decently enough. Gates starts with F overness in UK.

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/4388/ottohammerschmidt.jpg

Otto Hammerschmidt

Age: 33

Face, Blue Collar

Otto is first of my three non-UK signings. He doesn´t really have much upside but at least his brawling, technical and performance skills are around D. Otto works for 150$ per appearance + 104€ travel cost per show, and again I hope that he will drop that travel demand. Otto will pretty much be a jobber like half of my starting roster but at least he is having a job and maybe I found something useful for him to do in a future. His gimmick is another wholesome since it´s one of the three categories where he have better than E+ rating (Other two are Weasel and legitimate, but there is no face gimmicks that he could use in either of those categories). Otto´s popularity is F- in UK.

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3450/pierredupontalt1.jpg

Pierre DuPond

Age: 22

Heel, Armed Forces

Pierre and his twin brother Jacques are duo that I have wanted to bring to my previous diaries but the time was never right to actually bring them so this time I decided to take them from the start. That said they aren´t exactly great fit to entertainment based promotion thanks to low microphone and star quality ratings. Their performance is decent but they cannot likely carry others to good matches so I´m not expecting all that much from them and they will likely stay as midcard tag team for a long time. Their gimmick is their default Armed Forces one and both have F- overness in UK. Both DuPond´s work for 150$ + 100$ travel per appearance.

http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/9141/thunderbolt.jpg

Thunderbolt

Age: 26

Face, Man in a Mission

Our very own superhero who sadly cannot play Comic Book Hero gimmick since he doesn´t fill all the requirements, so he gets Man in a Mission gimmick. His mission? Rid ESE from cheating and villainous characters of course:p. Other than he´s gimmick he isn´t particularly special, in fact he´s pretty bad and will look more like a common henchman than super hero in ring. Thunderbolt has F overness in UK and like most other non-main eventers work for 150$ per show.

MIDCARD:

http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/8043/jacquesdupontalt1.jpg

Jacques DuPond

Age: 22

Heel, Armed Forces

I pretty much said anything I want to say about Jacques on his brother´s review. Basically I expect them to be midcard tag team and that’s all for now.

http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/8026/vicwalker.jpg

Vic Walker

Age: 24

Heel, Band Member

I have to admit that I have a soft spot on Walker. You see when I started my very first TEW game on 2005 I didn´t know much about the game so I just hired anyone who was willing to work for 150$ (I played with own made local promotion) and Walker was the guy who become my first ever champion. I even gave him a bodyguard who was non-other than the legendary Scotsman, well ok not so legendary but anyway:p. That said Walker is here for one think only and that’s jobbing, though he actually have decent mic skills and passable performance skills so he might get some feud time at some point. His gimmick is another of those my patented I don´t really like it but there were nothing better that he could use gimmicks that I seem to have way too often. Walker works for same 150$ per appearance than most of the rest of my guys and he´s overness in South UK is F-

LOWER MIDCARD:

http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/2664/balidaljit.jpg

Bali Daljit

Age: 19

Face, Old School Face

Bali is the youngest guy but not the worst despite the fact that he is lowest on the ladder currently. Bali has decent performance and entertainment skills and if he manages to get better he might find a spot on a little higher in rankings though I doubt he will be anything better than a midcarder considering that any guys that I bring in later are likely either more over or more talented (or both in best case scenario) than he currently is. Bali works for the same 150$ than most others and unsurprisingly he has F- overness in UK. His gimmick is again wholesome one so you likely guess by now what I´m going to say about that.

OTHER STAFF

http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/3360/mikepeterson.jpg

Mike Peterson

Age: 40

Heel, Old School Heel

Peterson is another mainstay guy in my companies and he will have his usual road agent/color commentator spot and he will also be used as authority figure if needed (idea being that as a road agent he makes the matches happen). Peterson will net 300$ per appearance.

http://img704.imageshack.us/img704/9736/saltylarry.jpg

Salty Larry

Age: 44

Face, Staff Member

Another familiar face from my earlier diaries. Larry will be my announcer for now. Larry is getting 300$ per appearance.

http://img682.imageshack.us/img682/1513/tylerbaker.jpg

Tyler Parker

Age: 37

Face, Staff Member

Tyler will be my starting referee, but he might become manager or even authority figure later on. Tyler nets 250$ per appearance.

Thank guys, just couldn´t keep myself away any longer, it´s so much more fun to play this game when you a writing diary:D.

Burton and Bedlam are definitely on my short list (after all I own you a mega push for Burton;)), I reserve my opinion on Storm until I figure out who he actually is:p.

First ever ESE Eternal Battle provides four matches. Winners of these matches will be qualified to six-man elimination match that will be held in our next month’s show. Winner of that match will be the first ever ESE King of the Network champion.

2 vs. 2 qualifying match for six-man elimination King of the Network title match

Frank Simmons & Glen Ward vs. Bali Daljit & Thunderbolt

1 vs. 1 qualifying match for six-man elimination King of the Network title match

Vic Walker vs. Norman Gates

2 vs. 2 qualifying match for six-man elimination King of the Network title match

The Foreign Legion (Pierre DuPond & Jacques DuPond) vs. Arthur T. Turtle & Martin Heath

Whoever gets the most right on predictions gets to choose two wrestlers that I will sign for ESE. However since I want to go with that unemployed only those wrestlers need to be unemployed (I will give list of guys who are unemployed at the moment when that time comes). This contest will run the first two years so it will end after 2011. The reason for this is that right now the list where you could choose from is pretty small (since I cannot afford to pay much more than 500$ per show at best). I hope that in the end of 2011 I´m close enough to small that it would be time to get some E- to E+ popularity guys in ESE.

WOOT, Zergon is back! And he took my advice to go to UK, too!

2 vs. 2 qualifying match for six-man elimination King of the Network title match

Frank Simmons & Glen Ward vs. Bali Daljit & Thunderbolt

Frank Simmons tags along to be fall guy next round, since Ward is essentially one of your top guys I don't see him jobbing to either of the other two here

1 vs. 1 qualifying match for six-man elimination King of the Network title match

Vic Walker vs. Norman Gates

Stormin' Norman makes up the third face in the title tournament

Interested in seeing Frisby's new dark character

2 vs. 2 qualifying match for six-man elimination King of the Network title match

The Foreign Legion (Pierre DuPond & Jacques DuPond) vs. Arthur T. Turtle & Martin Heath

Turtle and Heath are main players, while The Legion will be a solid midcard act akin to the Agents

March 2010

Friday week 3

http://img704.imageshack.us/img704/5061/ese1.jpg

ESE Eternal Battle (small, 1h)

Held in The Paddington Club, attendance 7 peoples

2 vs. 2 qualifying match for six-man elimination King of the Network title match

http://img682.imageshack.us/img682/2251/franksimmonsalt2.jpg & http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/4193/glenward.jpg vs. http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/2664/balidaljit.jpg & http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/9141/thunderbolt.jpg

Frank Simmons & Glen Ward vs. Bali Daljit & Thunderbolt

Simmons and Ward controlled most of this match. Daljit and Thunderbolt got enough offence to make this a prober match though but in the end Ward locked Bali to Judo Choke-Sleeper and with Simmons keeping Thunderbolt out of the way Bali had no other options than tap out. Simmons was clearly off his game tonight.

WINNERS: Frank Simmons & Glen Ward by submission in 7:14 E-

Like all matches in this show I didn´t really expect much here with Ward being only one with any real skills.

1 vs. 1 qualifying match for six-man elimination King of the Network title match

http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/8026/vicwalker.jpg vs. http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3632/normangates.jpg

Vic Walker vs. Norman Gates

Walker used low blows and other heel tactics to stay on top for most of the match but he failed to but Norman away. Gates didn´t miss his opportunity and leveled Walker with Psycho Slam.

WINNER: Norman Gates by pinfall in 5:33 F+

Nothing special here Gates gets the win mainly because he have little better stats and because I expect him do to better than Walker, though I must admit that the difference between these two aren´t all that big.

2 vs. 2 qualifying match for six-man elimination King of the Network title match

http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/4507/chuckfrisby.jpg vs. http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/4388/ottohammerschmidt.jpg

Chuck Frisby vs. Otto Hammerschmidt

Frisby has a pretty dominant showing here and he doesn´t give Otto much change by constantly staying on attack and not giving a moment to rest. Neckbreaker ends this one sided duel and Frisby advances to title match.

WINNER: Chuck Frisby by pinfall in 6:51 E-

I´m be using dominant notes much more often this time than on my earlier diaries (though I try not to over use it) since for my experience that is the best way to push guys even in entertainment promotions and since Otto has F- overness in UK the loss here doesn´t affect him at all.

ANGLE:

http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/4507/chuckfrisby.jpg

After the match Frisby takes the microphone.

Frisby: You just saw first of my many victories here on ESE. I know you have all been laughing to me for all these years but I guarantee that you won´t laugh for long anymore. I will dominate ESE and bring the age of darkness in here.

After those words Frisby simply leaves the ring leaving all to wonder what he meant by that.

Larry: Though words from Frisby but he certainly packed them up in ring.

Peterson: Yes, I don´t thing Otto is laughing much right now.

Larry: He sure isn´t but now is time for our main event. D-

Right I´m not particularly good writing promos but I decided to try anyway. There wasn´t all that much purpose for this other than I needed to have some angles and give a little bit of idea on Frisby´s character. The reason why I had the match first was that from my experience it´s better to debut guys on matches than angles since they dent to have really awful momentum if they debut with angles.

1 vs. 1 qualifying match for six-man elimination King of the Network title match

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3450/pierredupontalt1.jpg & http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/8043/jacquesdupontalt1.jpg vs. http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/344/arthurtturtle.jpg & http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/4246/martinheath.jpg

The Foreign Legion (Pierre DuPond & Jacques DuPond) vs. Arthur T. Turtle & Martin Heath

Foreign Legion showed some good tag team chemistry here and managed to get things even and even being slightly ahead of times but eventually Turtle and Heath showed why they are considered two of the top stars in ESE, with Turtle making the final blow by hitting Jacques with Spring Board Lariat. The bout dragged in the middle, with a lack of flow being noticeable which was pretty much what I feared, but I had to but that time somewhere.

WINNERS: Arthur T. Turtle & Martin Heath by pinfall in 12:07 E-

This was easy to choose as my main event since from those guys that didn´t make it to the title match I had most trust DuPond´s and I reasoned that they should be able to make a good match with my two best faces.

ANGLE:

http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/344/arthurtturtle.jpghttp://img210.imageshack.us/img210/4246/martinheath.jpg

After the match Turtle and Heath takes the microphones from ringside.

Turtle: Right, all you dudes just saw the first ever main event in ESE´s history and I will personally guarantee that next month will be even better.

Heath: Absolutely that six-man main event is going to be huge especially with us being there, but I have to warn you partner, it will be everyone for himself in there.

Turtle: Absolutely dude, I understand complete and agree there can only be one winner, though I wish you good luck.

After that Turtle and Heath share a handshake and leave the ring together.

Larry: That´s some good sportsmanship right there.

Peterson: Maybe so, but nice guys will always finish last, personally I think that Frisby is going to be the champion he showed right kind of attitude tonight.

Larry: I don´t know about that but he certainly had a convincing victory though I wouldn´t count any of those six men out from the match. E+

I figured I might just give some mic time for my two best faces and some of the better talkers in company even though they didn´t really have anything worthwhile to say.

Show rating: E-

Well, I knew that the first show would pretty much suck with no real storylines and with top guys facing lesser talents. My talent pool just isn´t large enough so I don´t expect much better ratings until I hire few guys that can wrestle little better (or until some guys get higher overness). On the good side promos where quite goods I know that my top three guys can at least deliver decent promos and I was 243$ on black after first show. Not much but considering that I used everyone and had to pay some travel expenses it is quite good and should ensure that I don´t need to take off months at least not as often as in my last diary . Right, I guess now is good time to discuss few changes from my previous writing style. First, like I noted already I´m actually writing the promos instead of just telling it on the nut shell. This is mainly because I felt that most of my characters where little bland in my last diary and I hope I can make them stand out more this way. Secondly I stole a page from Dragonmack´s diary with those explanations after matches and angles. This is mainly because I personally like to hear more about why writers booked certain matches and what they expected from them, and that’s pretty much what I like to do here. Now I presume that all doesn´t like that because it´s break the story so if you have opinions about that (or for anything else in this diary:)) feel free to tell it and I will take it on account and possibly change it based on how the feedback goes. I also presume it´s good time to note that I am using Sonfaro´s mega story back (Big thanks for Sonfaro from that by the way) alongside TEW´s usual angles so if some angles seems unfamiliar they are probably from that story pack (I´m way too lazy to make new angles myself:p).

A couple of notes:

Firstly, the explanations work well. Short, to the point and placed after the match so peple who aren't interested can skim over them. For myslef I'm reading them, but I think making them skippable might help.

As for your promo's, they're fine. We can't all write top-line promo's, and what you've got is perfectly decent for a company who, let's face it, aren't going to feature Jericho-level promo's every month. My only criticism is that Frisby's promo reads a little odd- it starts out petulant heel and ends up slightly creepy, which is jarring.

Gah! I missed the predictions after show 1... Damn bank holidays

I actually liked the Chuck Frisby promo. Im seeing him as trying desperately to be a badass, and even though he wins matches, noone takes him as seriously as he wants. Typical stroppy teenager type thing.

great result having the DuPont brothers get good chemistry. Those guys can really help to people over without having to focus on them in big singles wins

Yeah i was thinking something like that, like a parody of the usual emo type character.

Thanks for commends and predictions guys.

To be honest I would probably write Frisby´s promo a little differently now (It was wrote about two weeks ago, I´m about four months ahead frim what I have posted). The main thing that I would change is that "age of darkness" phrase that I used on the end. "Age of Frisby" would have been better term and more on what I have on mind about Frisby´s character.

I also have pretty stereotypic views on face and heel characters, meaning that pretty much all my heels need to be confident/arrogant guys who are cowardly/cunning and who cheat a lot or are unstoppable monsters. While all the faces are pretty much the usual old school face type. I try to get away from these molds but likely I will fall to these more often than not.

Predictions: Well the first card was pretty easy to guess with most of you getting all predictions right. Though I like to make surprise victories once and a while I felt that I need to build my top guys up first hence the easy to guess card. This next card will likely be a lot harder, espesially with this being so early in the diary so there isn´t a clear picture about who I´m pushing yet:).

Pierre DuPond vs. Bali Daljit

Bali is a scrub. A scrub that looks cool, but a scrub nonetheless

Otto Hammerschmidt vs. Jacques DuPond

He lost last month, but I like Otto. And the possibilities of a German in the UK a month before the World Cup are endless...

Consensus opinion of the forums is Frisby is The Man. And with a pop-based product you need a champ who can hurl down great promos telling everyone how great he is

Thunderbolt vs. Vic Walker

Walker is a jobber

Pierre DuPond vs. Bali Daljit

Frenchies will be your solid upper carders until you can afford a tag division, while Daljit will be a solid midcarder

Otto Hammerschmidt vs. Jacques DuPond

To be honest, I was going to go with Otto here, since I don't see where the DuPonds can go after this. However, I remembered that Otto has 0 pop in Britain, so him winning would nuke your other DuPonds.

A remix of your 'face chases heel champ' story, with Frisby filling in Milano's shoes

EDIT: Took off the bold on Otto so you don't think I meant it to be a draw... I bolded it first and forgot to take it off, my apologies

Wow! Frank Simmons is actually in a diary! Frank Simmons is actually in a diary! Just let me entertain myself with that thought for a moment...

Ok, I'm don...

Wow! Norman Gates is actually in a diary! Norm...

You get the picture - it'll be really interesting to see how these UK nobodies fare here. Looking forward to reading more and good luck with it. :D

Thanks for all the predictions/comments guys. It´s always nice to know that people read this one:).

April 2010

Friday week 3

http://img704.imageshack.us/img704/5061/ese1.jpg

ESE Eternal Battle (small, 1h)

Held in The Paddington Club, attendance 7 peoples

ANGLE:

http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/9141/thunderbolt.jpg

Show starts with Thunderbolt coming in ring and taking a microphone.

Thunderbolt: Some have questioned to me why I have demanded a match tonight against Vic Walker. The reason is very simple, I stand here for fair play and justice and as we all saw last month Walker tried to cheat his way to victory several times during the match and that something that your favorite superhero cannot tolerate, so Walker get your ass in the ring and face the righteous wrath of THUNDERBOLT. F+

I wasn´t expecting much from this promo, but it´s a decent reasoning for the feud that I´m starting between these two plus these superhero

characters are quite easy and fun to write so why not?

1 vs. 1

http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/9141/thunderbolt.jpg vs. http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/8026/vicwalker.jpg

Thunderbolt vs. Vic Walker

Walker didn´t seem particularly concerned about facing a superhero and didn´t seems to catch a point about fair play either, since he used cheap shots and poke in the eye fairly often, but eventually it was Thunderbolt who proved he´s skill by picking up a victory with Bolt from the Blue. Thunderbolt was of his game but even with that this one was definitely disappointment.

WINNER: Thunderbolt by pinfall in 5:04 F

This was pretty much just a feud starting match. I don´t expecting much from this feud but since I´m running entertainment promotion I need those three storylines and I like to give some time to lesser talents as well.

ANGLE:

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3632/normangates.jpg

Norman Gates is show backstage and he has few words for the audience.

Gates: Tonight we will have first ever ESE King of the Network champion and I have every intention to be that guy. Now make no-mistake there is five others tough guys in there, heck I´m willing to admit that some of them might be better wrestlers than I am, but the thing that counts there is experience. And yes I know some of those guys are older than me and have wrestled longer, but that’s not the kind of experience I´m talking. Now you see when there is six guys in the ring on same time there no time for some fancy high flying stuff or some stupid chain wrestling. No it´s full out brawl in there where only the toughest guys will survive and make no mistake I am tough guy. Heck I can guarantee that I have been in more bar-room brawls than any other guy there and that what I mean by me being most experienced. So tonight when the dust have settled I believe it will be me who is holding that title and after that it´s time to take that shiny belt in a bar, celebrate with some beer and have another good brawl. E

Introducing another personality and hyping our main event a little, that’s what this promo was all about though it also gave me some basic idea what I can expect on Norman performance wise.

1 vs. 1

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3450/pierredupontalt1.jpg vs. http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/2664/balidaljit.jpg

Pierre DuPond vs. Bali Daljit

Pretty close match but eventually this match is decided with outside help.

http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/8043/jacquesdupontalt1.jpg

Jacques comes in ring side and that distracts Bali enough for Pierre to hit him down and finishing the job with Flying Fist Drop. Pierre was of his game.

WINNER: Pierre DuPond by pinfall after interference bu Jacques DuPond in 3:43 F+

Filler match here with not much purpose other than hammer the point about Duponds being heels and that they are working together.

ANGLE:

http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/4507/chuckfrisby.jpg

Chuck Frisby is show backstage sitting on bench in some small room seemingly unaware that he is being filmed.

Frisby: Tonight … I will be something….I will be King of the Network champion and no one will not laugh to me anymore…NO-ONE…It´s my destiny….

Suddenly he starts to scream.

Frisby: STOP LAUGHING…NO ONE WILL NOT LAUGH TO ME ANYMORE….STOP LAUGHING, I WILL SHOW YOU ALL…..

Camera scans the room but there doesn´t seem to be anyone else in there and the only sound watchers could hear is Frisby´s screaming.

Larry: Well it´s seem that Frisby isn´t exactly healthy.

Peterson: Bah, mentally scarred or not he still have more talent in his middle finger than most of the other guy’s have on their entair bodies. E+

Extending Frisby´s character a little,Like I said before I´m just not fan of his comedy character especially since he is my top heel so I decided to make him a little bit insane and guy who is driven to show others that he is good wrestler and not just some comedy act.

1 vs. 1

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/4388/ottohammerschmidt.jpg vs. http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/8043/jacquesdupontalt1.jpg

Otto Hammerschmidt vs. Jacques DuPond

Otto has lot´s more experience that Jacques and that showed from start with Otto staying on top.

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3450/pierredupontalt1.jpg

But then just like in last match, second DuPond comes in the ring side to help his brother and it proofs to be effective strategy again with Pierre low blowing Otto when referee wasn´t watching, which allowed Jacques to finish the job with Flying Legdrop. Otto Hammerschmidt and Jacques DuPont had pretty good chemistry which helped a lot.

WINNER: Jacques DuPond by pinfall after interference by Pierre DuBond in 4:45 E-

Another doesn´t matter much match. I like DuPonds more and I have better idea how I will use them so that’s why they took wins here tough right now they won´t likely win all that much. That positive chemistry note was a big one though since as we have seen E- is quite good rating compared to most of my other matches that doesn´t involve main eventers or Ward. By the way after checking everyone´s popularity by numbers I found out that everyone have had higher popularity than zero (most guys where between 3 and 8). Otto and Jacques actually both had popularity 5 and Otto dropped one point and Jacques gained two points of overness after this match as a result. Not a huge thing but I figured it´s good for you to know since it was quite surprising for me:o (I though Otto and DuPond´s would have zero overness considering that they have never been big names or performed in UK before).

ANGLE:

http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/344/arthurtturtle.jpg

Turtle is shown backstage hyping the main event title match.

Turtle: Tonight, history will be made with crowning of the first ever ESE King of the Network champion, and I´m planning to be the one who gets that honor. Now I know that the job isn´t easy, there are five other guys who deserve to be there and it´s going to be all out war there. But I believe I have a good chance to win with my skills and passion towards this business so tonight I will step in the ring in order to win the belt and be the role model that ESE needs in order to climb to the greatness. E+

Turtle is my best talker so naturally he is getting a lot of mic time. The promo itself isn´t particularly great on my own opinion, (I struggle a little bit on making faces with wholesome gimmick to stand out) but it fills it purpose which was to promote the main event. Note: In game both this and Norman´s angle where self hype angles mainly because I´m way too lazy to make a six man match hype angle myself (plus the fact that since other guys would likely be rated on overness it wouldn´t be very good angle rating wise).

Six-man elimination match for King of the Network title

http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/7738/esekingofthenetwork.jpg (Title belt is made by ReapeR)

http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/344/arthurtturtle.jpg vs. http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/4246/martinheath.jpg vs. http://img682.imageshack.us/img682/2251/franksimmonsalt2.jpg vs. http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/4193/glenward.jpg vs. http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/4507/chuckfrisby.jpg vs. http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3632/normangates.jpg

Arthur T. Turtle vs. Martin Heath vs. Frank Simmons vs. Glen Ward vs. Chuck Frisby vs. Norman Gates

This match starts with an all out brawl where no-one isn´t able to take control. First elimination is seen around the half point when Norman Gates decides to make this brawl a little bit more interesting by bringing a chair into ring. Gates hits Ward with his chair and gets disqualified for his trouble. 1st elimination Norman Gates by DQ. Frisby capitalizes the situation and pins Ward who is still out from that chair shot. 2nd elimination Glen Ward by Chuck Frisby. After that the remaining four guys divide on half with Heath and Frisby feuding with each other while Turtle fights with Simmons and eventually manages to eliminate him with Sky Twister Press. 3rd elimination Frank Simmons by Arthur T. Turtle. After that Turtle and Heath team up and throw Frisby out of the ring. The duo stares each others for a while until they shake hand sfor mutual respect before starting to fight. The fight continues to be even until Frisby gets back in the ring and blindsides both guys and hits Neckbreakers for both. Frisby pins Heath. 4th Elimination Martin Heath by Chuck Frisby. He then goes and pins Turtle as well but Turtle have recovered enough and manages to kick out of the pin. Turtle and Frisby continues their brawl as an even match but eventually Turtle manages to capitalize on Frisby´s mistake and hit´s Springboard Lariat for the win. 5th elimination Chuck Frisby by Arthur T. Turtle. This bout dragged in the middle.

WINNER AND NEW KING OF THE NETWORK CHAMPION: Arthur T. Turtle by pinfall in 11:14 E-

I was really expecting E on this match and that match dragging note is quite bad considering that these are the guys who I hoped to carry the company. The choice about my first champion was pretty much between Turtle and Frisby since not only are they my two best talkers they are also the most over guys in the company. Of those two Turtle gets the belt mainly because I believe it works better with my storylines.

Show rating: E-

Well it seems that I need to have the maximum 40% time (with my current settings) on promos with pretty much no-one able to go over 8 minutes before the lack of flow starts being noticeable plus the matches suck even when they work perfectly. But that was to be expected with this roster so no real problems though I will likely try to find some guys with better psychology skills. Oh, and both Pierre DuPond and Martin Heath have decided that they should be bad backstage influence so I now have four negative influence guys (with all being somewhat important) and only one positive (Frisby, which I find a little ironic considering his character in this diary). As for finances I was 761$ in minus this month (merchandise and misc. income where lot lower than last month).

Predictions: Well I have to admit that I was expecting a little more diversity on predictions with only Otto vs. Jacques dividing opinions. Since everyone expected that Frisby would get the title I presume that I should explain it little more. Now I already said that it´s mainly because I though it would be better storyline, but that´s not the only reason. You see, when I decided to do entertaimentt promotion in UK I already knew I wanted Turtle to be a main player while I only found Frisby later, hence I already had a mindset about Turtle being the champ before I even knew most of my roster. Also I have used Turtle a lot but he have never been my champion so this is kind of thank you title run for Turtle as well. Still I must admit that Frisby would have been more obivious choice thanks to that big overnesss difference that they currentlly have (8 points in Frisby´s favour), but I simply didn´t though about overness when I made that decision (if I had I would likely have chosen Frisby).

In last month ESE Eternal Battle Arthur T. Turtle became the first ever ESE King of the Network champion. Tonight he will defend his title for the first time against Frank Simmons. Chuck Frisby and Martin Heath will clash in tonight´s main event where the next number one contender for King of the Network title is being decided. Also in this month show Thunderbolt continues his quest for justice by facing Pierre DuPond in one-on-one match while Glen Ward will face Bali Daljit.

Predictions:

Glen Ward vs. Bali Daljit

Thunderbolt vs. Pierre DuPond

1 vs. 1 for the King of the Network title

Frank Simmons vs. Arthur T. Turtle

1 vs. 1 for number one contender spot on King of the Network title
