November 2010

Friday week 3

http://img704.imageshack.us/img704/5061/ese1.jpg

ESE Eternal Battle (small, 1h)

Held in The Paddington Club, attendance 6 peoples

1 vs. 1

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/4388/ottohammerschmidt.jpg vs. http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3450/pierredupontalt1.jpg

Otto Hammerschmidt vs. Pierre DuPond

Otto manages to control the early match, but unsurprisingly Jacques DuPond comes in the ring side to help his twin brother.

http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/8043/jacquesdupontalt1.jpg

Jacques distraction is enough for Pierre to capitalize the situation and eventually he puts Otto away with Flying Fist Drop.

WINNER: Pierre DuPond by pinfall in 5:19 E-

Again I´m keeping Dupond´s semi-strong by giving them some wins though those victories usually come via cheating.

ANGLE:

http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/344/arthurtturtle.jpghttp://img88.imageshack.us/img88/4507/chuckfrisby.jpg

Turtle is shown walking backstage, but suddenly Frisby attacks him from behind and beats him down before officials come in and stop Frisby. E-

Another attack angle. This time I put it as a second segment partly because it fits the storyline for the rest of the evening but mainly so that it wouldn´t hurt my later match up. Not sure how this one scored as well as E-, I was expecting F+ at best.

1 vs. 1

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3632/normangates.jpg vs. http://img682.imageshack.us/img682/2251/franksimmonsalt2.jpg

Norman Gates vs. Frank Simmons

Gates and Simmons clash in a match that looked more like a bar-room brawl than wrestling match. Unfortunately for Simmons Gates is on his best in bar-rroom type fights and so he manages to pick up a quite dominating victory after hitting Simmons with Psycho Slam. Simmons was really of his game which made this match suck even more than usual (if possible).

WINNER: Norman Gates by pinfall in 4:35 F

I´m building Gates a little in order to make his overness a little bit closer to what Ward currently have. Simmons have gone from main eventer to jobber in less than a year but we all know that he shouldn’t have been in the main event scene on the first place.

ANGLE:

http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/4246/martinheath.jpghttp://img10.imageshack.us/img10/344/arthurtturtle.jpg

Martin Heath and Turtle are shown from backstage. Turtle looks to be in pain and definitely not in 100% condition.

Turtle: So Frisby, you though that you could take me out before our match? Think again you lunatic I will still come to the ring and kick your ass around the ring as usual.

Heath: Yep, and that goes for that so-called “savior” too, so Ward we haven´t forgotten you either.

Turtle: That´s right, dude. You two are going to be in all kinds of trouble when our match starts.

Larry: What a brave champ Turtle is, he will fight even after being beaded up, words cannot describe Turtle´s fighting spirit and…

Peterson: I think the word you are trying to find is stupidity, I mean what kind of moron would fight when he isn´t on 100% condition to do so? D-

Basic hype promo that tries to sell the fact that Turtle is little hurt after Frisby´s attack. I used tag promo where Turtle and Heath are rated on entertainment and Ward plus Frisby aren´t rated at all, just why I haven´t used these angles before is beyond me since they give match better ratings that those opponent rated on overness angles.

1 vs. 1

http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/9141/thunderbolt.jpg vs. http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/8026/vicwalker.jpg

Thunderbolt vs. Vic Walker

Even fight between these two rivals but in the end it´s Thunderbolt who picks up a win with Bolt from the Blue. Thunderbolt was really of his game or should I say that he was on his usual condition? I mean seriously he have been of his game every time he faces Walker. Maybe Vic is some kind of kryptonite to our poor superhero.

WINNER: Thunderbolt by pinfall in 3:45 F

Thunderbolt picks up the win here since I have more plans for him. Walker´s promo skills have been disappointing so far so he will go back to full time jobber role for now.

ANGLE:

http://img576.imageshack.us/img576/3674/trancealt3.jpg

Unknown music starts playing and a guy walks in the ring. Peterson and Larry tell the viewers that the guy in question is Trance who has previously worked in 21CW as half of the Party Animals tag team.

Trance: Well, well, well, how the mighty have fallen. I mean look at me. Once I was in the biggest company in whole Europe and now I´m here in same backwater garbage promotion that has absolutely no fan base or any real wrestlers. And it´s easy to see why this promotion is so bad, the management doesn´t have any idea what they are doing. I mean instead of giving their meaningless little champion belt to me who could elevate it to new highs they instead decided to keep it on some nerd and simply told me that I have to move up to the ranks if I want to be contender. Me, having to prove myself here? Come on that’s a joke do I really have to get my hands dirty on these backwater rejects who cannot find a real job?

Bali Daljit´s music starts playing and it interferences Trance. F+

Trance will slot straight in the main event scene so I decided to give him some mic time and it´s also gives me the basic idea about what to expect to him (apparently not much). Unfortunately I have no idea who made that Trance alt, as I have collected big chunk of alts in alternative picture threads and this particular one is one of those. If any of you know who made this, please tell me so I can give proper credits, same goes with any other alt that I possibly use.

1 vs. 1

http://img576.imageshack.us/img576/3674/trancealt3.jpg vs. http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/2664/balidaljit.jpg

Trance vs. Bali Daljit

Trance shows that he has the skills to back up his talking and takes an easy win over Bali.

WINNER: Trance by pinfall in 6:16 F+

With most of my top guys already tied on storylines, Trance doesn´t have many good feud options so I decided to go with “he has to work up on the ladders” angle instead which also gives to opportunity to rise his overness a little bit via few domination victories on lower card guys. And ouch, so much for Trance being able to help me, I thought that F+ overness combined with good basic skills would help Trance to make good matches but at least here he failed badly.

2 vs. 2

http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/4507/chuckfrisby.jpg & http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/4193/glenward.jpg vs. http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/344/arthurtturtle.jpg & http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/4246/martinheath.jpg

Chuck Frisby & Glen Ward vs. Arthur T. Turtle & Martin Heath

Frisby and Ward took early control and kept Heath in the ring for some time. Eventually Heath makes the tag to Turtle and momentum shifts to Turtle´s and Heath´s favor until dirty tricks form Frisby change the flow once again. Frisby and Ward seemed to have full control of the match and it looked like it´s only matter of time before they win.

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3632/normangates.jpg

But then Norman Gates comes to ringside and that distracts Ward long enough so that Turtle could hit him with Sky Twister Press and pick up a win for his team.

WINNER: Arthur T. Turtle & Martin Heath by pinfall in 8:28 E+

I wanted to give Heath a big win since he´s the one with least overness on my main eventers and including Gates gave Ward and Frisby a good reason on their loss so that´s why Turtle and Heath won here. Nice match here but so it should be with pretty much my whole event scene (except Trance) in this one.

ANGLE:

http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/344/arthurtturtle.jpghttp://img88.imageshack.us/img88/4507/chuckfrisby.jpg

After the match Ward and Gates brawl to backstage and Heath leaves as well. Turtle tries to leave too but before he gets far, Frisby blindsides him again. This time Turtle is little bit better prepared and manages to fight back. Frisby decides to bail out and tries to leave but Turtle gets a microphone and stop him before he gets away.

Turtle: FRISBY, I have had enough of your little games, if you want to have a title shot I success that you hop in the ring next month and face me one on one for the title. Otherwise I´m going to ask the management to find me a worthy contender who can actually back his words in the ring instead of running away and backstabbing people.

Frisby: Worthy contender? You little rat dare to talk me about being worthy? You who have no right to carry that belt around? YOU WHO STOLE MY DESTINY? I´m going to take that belt from you and destroy you in the progress.

Larry: Seems like we have our next month´s main event set up.

Peterson: Indeed I cannot wait for Frisby taking that belt away from that nerd. D

Another good promo from these two. It´s have become almost a tradition that at least one of these two has to be in final segment whatever it´s angle or match in question.

Show rating: E

Well with only main event and first match succeeding (plus most of the promos) I´m happy to escape with E rating here. Martin Heath made a mean spirited prank on Glen Ward. I gave him a stern warning and he said that I made it loud and clear, whatever that means.

New signing:

http://img576.imageshack.us/img576/3674/trancealt3.jpg

Trance

Age: 29

Heel, Old School Heel

Well, I presume most of you probably didn´t expect Trance to be my “savior” and likely he isn´t. However he has very good performance skills and I hope that it´s enough to rise my match quality a little bit. Trance isn´t totally horrible on microphone either though he is far from great talker. I pay him 500$ per appearance which is more than I like to but let´s hope he is worth it. Trance will basically arrogant heel gimmick but since Trance couldn´t play that one (or any ****y gimmick), I gave him the Old School Heel gimmick instead.

There is a lot on stake in this month´s ESE Eternal Battle, and no-where as much as our main event when Arthur T. Turtle is defending his title against his nemesis Chuck Frisby. Another pair who have feuded for some time now will also step in the ring to face each other’s when Glen Ward and Norman Gates try to settle their differences, and it´s not just any normal one-on.one match, it´s a ladder match and the winner gets a title shot in next month show. Our latest signing Trance is also in action when he looks to continue his rise on the ranks, but he has his hands full of work since he is facing Thunderbolt. Also in this month´s card Martin Heath will fight against Vic Walker and Jacques DuPond and Bali Daljit will be in action against each other´s.

December 2010

Friday week 3

http://img704.imageshack.us/img704/5061/ese1.jpg

ESE Eternal Battle (small, 1h)

Held in The Paddington Club, attendance 6 peoples

1 vs. 1

http://img576.imageshack.us/img576/3674/trancealt3.jpg vs. http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/9141/thunderbolt.jpg

Trance vs. Thunderbolt

Trance takes another fairly dominant win here after hitting Thunderbolt with Trance Effect. Thunderbolt was of his game but Trance and Thunderbolt had great chemistry which helped.

WINNER: Trance by pinfall in 5:24 F+

Trance takes another domination victory here and moves up on the ranks. Unfortunately I made a big mistake last month by debuting him with angle instead of match which means that he has pretty much zero momentum. To but this on perspective Trance has F+ momentum which is same that Bali has. Jacques DuBond has next worst momentum and he has E. Even Vic Walker has E+ on momentum so that tells why it´s bad idea to debut guys with angles, which unfortunately is a mistake that I make fairly often. I´m not sure how much that bad momentum affects match ratings but that F+ is a disappointment especially after good chemistry note.

1 vs. 1

http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/8043/jacquesdupontalt1.jpg vs. http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/2664/balidaljit.jpg

Jacques DuPond vs. Bali Daljit

Somewhat even fight here but eventually Jacques is able to pick up the win with Flying Legdrop. Jacques and Bali doesn´t click at all but they still managed to have same rating than Trance and Thunderbolt.

WINNER: Jacques DuPond by pinfall in 4:04 F+

Mostly a filler match here, though it does set my new feud up.

ANGLE:

http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/8043/jacquesdupontalt1.jpghttp://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3450/pierredupontalt1.jpghttp://img706.imageshack.us/img706/2664/balidaljit.jpghttp://img714.imageshack.us/img714/9141/thunderbolt.jpg

Jacques continues his attack on Bali and soon Pierre joins his brother, suddenly Thunderbolt runs in the ring and kicks DuPond´s out and goes to check Bali´s condition. F-

Bad angel rating again thanks to it being based on overness, but again it´s more about running a good story than simple angle ratings. I hope that DuPond´s can bring Thunderbolt and Bali to at least F+ matches and thus make this feud better that Walker vs. Thunderbolt was though that Bali & Jacques not clicking note wasn´t an encouraging start.

1 vs. 1

http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/4246/martinheath.jpg vs. http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/8026/vicwalker.jpg

Martin Heath vs. Vic Walker

Another squash match here with Heath picking up a clear win with Flying Fist Drop.

WINNER: Martin Heath by pinfall in 4:02 E-

Building Heath´s popularity here. Now that Walker isn´t in the storyline he slot´s back to full time jobber role so don´t expect him to win much anytime soon. This match got better rating than I expected.

ANGLE:

http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/4507/chuckfrisby.jpg

Frisby is show backstage and he has something to say.

Frisby: Tonight, FINALLY tonight, I will take what is rightfully mine. I will get the King of the Network title and prove everyone that Chuck Frisby is a real deal. And Turtle, I wouldn´t make any career plans if I were you. You won´t be any condition to have any kind of career after I have finished with you.

Frisby starts staring intensively on the camera for some time and then he simply walks away, muttering to himself as he goes. D-

Not much to say here, another solid promo from Frisby that hypes tonight´s main event.

1 vs. 1 ladder match, winner gets a King of the Network title shot

http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/4193/glenward.jpg vs. http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3632/normangates.jpg

Glen Ward vs. Norman Gates

Ward gets early advantage via low blow but he eventually loses it when he tries to get the contract before Gates where out. Gates had the control for some time but eventually Ward fights himself back to the game and things continue to be even. Match ends with both guys up on the ladder punching each others. Gates wins the punching match and sends Ward down the canvas. Gates picks up the contract and gets a title shot against whoever wins this night´s main event.

WINNER: Norman Gates by getting the contract in 6:22 E-

Ok this is likely another one of my patented odd decisions. Most of you would likely put Ward over Gates especially considering that my current champ is face. I will give my reasoning after the main event since my explanation would spoil the outcome there. I was expecting an E from these two with short gimmick match and all out note but it wasn´t to be.

ANGLE:

http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/344/arthurtturtle.jpg

Turtle comes in the ring and takes a microphone.

Turtle: Do not make any career plans? Really Frisby? You really think you have what it´s takes to end my career? I doubt that, now I admit that you have pinned me fairly before but that wasn´t a title match. You see Frisby, a title match is whole different environment. There´s more on the stake, more pressure and that´s what makes is special. In title matches you are going to face the best of the best, the most skillful competition. You really have to give your best if you want to win those matches and I plan to do just that. You see I´m proud to be called champion here in ESE and I´m going to fight for the last in order to keep that position. So Frisby come out and let’s see if you have what it takes to beat me when I´m on top of my game. D-

As usual for me both main event guys get some mic time in order to promote the main event.

1 vs. 1 for the King of the Network title

http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/7738/esekingofthenetwork.jpg

http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/4507/chuckfrisby.jpg vs. http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/344/arthurtturtle.jpg

Chuck Frisby vs. Arthur T. Turtle

Frsiby seems hell bend on getting the title and Turtle has a hard time on staying in game. In the end Frisby´s aggression turns against him when he refuses to release Turtle on Leg Lock after Turtle gets in the robes. That refuse let to DQ win for Turtle.

WINNER: Arthur T. Turtle by pinfall in 6:11 E

I´m building things up for the third encounter and so wanted to keeps things unclear. It´s easier for me to justify heel getting DQ/count out loss than face which was the main reason why Turtle gets this one plus it´s fits better for the story. Right that was the easy part now the question why Gates gets the shot when Turtle stays as champ? My main reasoning is fear on repeatable booking penalty (mainly because I don´t know how big the penalty is or how long “quiet period” I need to have before is ok for two guys to face each others again), which is why I want to keep Ward away from Turtle (in case that I want to make a feud between those two). Gates won´t likely have a feud against Turtle anytime soon so he´s perfect candidate on one shot title match. Still not E+ worthy match from these two, if only I haven´t accidently deleted that old save where they managed to make that E+ match on their first encounter. Oh well at least it wasn´t E- like that first encounter between these two with this current save.

Show Rating: E

I was hoping for E+ with this one but with two last matches underperforming (from what I hoped) it was never even close. Seems like E is pretty much the best I can do right now and that isn´t likely to change anytime soon. The first year is in the back now so next post will be my usual roster post.

Well, first year is over so how it did go? Well the answer is both good and bad. Good thing is that I managed to make local company profitable, actually it worked even better on this new save than on old likely partly because I managed to sign Turtle without having to pay travel expenses to him. On most month´s I was about 500$ on black and my income was negative only once and once my plus/minus was exactly zero. I also did gain popularity so basically I managed to complete my goals. However the thing I´m not happy is speed of my progress which was extremely slow. My current popularity is 2,6 % and considering that I had ten shows last year it´s bad even on my low standards. Now I´m not sure how much that slower than expected progress (compared to my last diary) is because I wanted to stay on black and thus hired less expensive guys and how much is simply because I moved more popularity based product instead of my usual 50/50 split. I must admit that I didn´t though I would have this big troubles to have even E rated matches and that´s something I need to try to get better. My main goal now will be to grow to small so I might need to throw away that be profitable clause at some point (that will likely happen after this year once that prediction competition ends).

Roster:

MAIN EVENTERS:

http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/344/arthurtturtle.jpg

Arthur T. Turtle

Age: 28

Face, Fan Favorite

record: 8 - 1 - 1

As Turtle´s record tells, he was my top guy (alongside Frisby) and thus he become my first ever champion. Turtle was solid on the microphone but his in ring performance was worse that I would have hoped, especially those matches with Frisby. Still Turtle had E average on match rating and that´s better than anyone´s else so he filled his spot and will stay near the top for some time. Turtle´s popularity raised to E- during the year now I just have to hope that it will at least stay there and hopefully get better at some point.

http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/4507/chuckfrisby.jpg

Chuck Frisby

Age: 34

Heel, Weirdo

record: 5 - 1 – 3

Frisby was my top heel as he is very good in mic, sadly just like Turtle his in-ring performance left lot to be desired, in fact Frisby only gets E- as his match average rating which is a clear disappointment for me. Also Frisby´s popularity dropped from E- to F+ thanks to that tag loss in November (clear example why I´m horrible at pushing my top guys). Still Frisby will likely stay as my top heel thanks to his mic skills and because I really don´t have anyone better on my roster anyway.

http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/4246/martinheath.jpg

Martin Heath

Age: 22

Face, Blue Chipper

record: 7 - 0 - 3

Martin Heath managed to get E- as match average rating which is slight disappointment for someone with Martin´s skill level, but not any worse than my other guys. Heath got a little build up this year and he ended with F+ overness (again thanks to that tag match in November). Actually Heath had F+ overness earlier in this year as well but his loss to Turtle dropped him back to where he started. Let´s hope that Heath manages to stay on F+ popularity for now on. Overall despite not being in storyline I consider Heath as my second best face and he is staying in main event scene for some time.

http://img576.imageshack.us/img576/3674/trancealt3.jpg

Trance

Age: 29

Heel, Old School Heel

record: 2 - 0 - 0

Not much new to say here. Trance´s first two matches in ESE got only F+ rating which as I said was big disappointment especially when he have had E or better matches in independence scene. His overness has risen to E- thanks to those two domination victories so he is my second most over guy currently. I need to check if Trance can but a good match with my top guys but if he fails there I might just drop him since currently he isn’t worth what I´m paying to him.

UPPER MIDCARDS:

http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/4193/glenward.jpg

Glen Ward

Age: 26

Heel, Straight Edge

record: 6 - 0 - 3

Ward made somewhat solid job this year getting the same E- acarage match rating than my other most of my other top guys. Ward´s current overness is F but that´s because that same tag loss that affected Heath´s and Frisby´s popularity (Now that I seen the results I wonder if that match was a mistake even though it´s the best match that I produced so far) and the fact that he lost to Gates in December so Ward is currently little worse shape (overness wise) than he really should be. Ward will stay as important piece on ESE but I´m not sure if he will get back to main event scene anytime soon.

http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/8043/jacquesdupontalt1.jpg

Jacques DuPond

Age: 23

Heel, Armed Forces

record: 4 - 0 - 3

Dupond´s a currently kind of on the middle guys who won´t beat anyone more over than them but who will rarely lose to anyone else. Jacques managed to get E- match average which is good rating considering that he isn´t one of my top guys. Jacques managed to get on F popularity in South UK though I presume that he is only slightly over that F- rating so one loss could well drop him back to F-. Overall DuPond´s will likeöy mostly spin their wheels on upper midcard until I get my tag division going (though they currently are in feud I don´t expect that particular feud to raise their popularity at all).

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3632/normangates.jpg

Norman Gates

Age: 24

Face, Biker

record: 3 - 0 - 5

One thing that I forgot about Gates is that he has brute gimmick and thus is able to get over quite quickly with few squash matches. In fact he currently has F+ overness thanks to his last two victories which makes him more over than Ward. Gates did a decent job both on mic and in ring with E- match average rating and though he has more losses than wins all those losses have been against my top guys. Overall Gates with his brute gimmick is going to have similar role than Kane has in WWE, squash some midcarders and then lose to top guy who need overness boost. I doubt that Gates will ever be one of my main players but he is likely to stay on upper midcard and at times he will likely even be over enough to be on my main event scene.

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3450/pierredupontalt1.jpg

Pierre DuPond

Age: 23

Heel, Armed Forces

record: 3 - 0 - 4

Pierre is pretty much on similar state than his twin brother (what a surprise), and he also had the E- as average match rating and F overness.

http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/9141/thunderbolt.jpg

Thunderbolt

Age: 27

Face, Man in a Mission

record: 4 - 0 - 5

Thunderbolt is fun guy to write but sadly he´s really horrible in ring and thus holds a jobber spot in ESE, even though he has been on storylines quite often so far. Thunderbolt´s average match rating is only F+ thanks to those three F rating when he fought against Vic Walker (Not exactly feud of the year material, then:p). Thunderbolt managed to stay on F overness and that´s enough to give him spot on upper midcard currently. I see Thunderbolt as midcarder as best though so don´t expect him to win all that much.

MIDCARD:

http://img682.imageshack.us/img682/2251/franksimmonsalt2.jpg

Frank Simmons

Age: 34

Heel, Evil Doer

record: 3 - 0 - 5

Frank dropped from main eventer to midcarder in one year and let´s face it midcard is where he should have been all along. Simmons had F+ as match average though he managed to hold himself on F overness. Overall Simmons will always be a jobber here and I doubt he will get even three wins on most years if he is staying at all.

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/4388/ottohammerschmidt.jpg

Otto Hammerschmidt

Age: 34

Face, Blue Collar

record: 2 - 0 - 6

Otto should ideally be on upper midcard instead of Thunderbolt but with Thunderbolt and Bali being in feud right now Otto is likely to take few extra beatings and thus I don´t see him rising in ranks anytime soon. Otto had E- match average and his popularity is still F-.

http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/8026/vicwalker.jpg

Vic Walker

Age: 24

Heel, Band Member

record: 2 - 0 - 7

Good microphone and acting skills do not a good promo make; you also need charisma to have. That´s pretty much what I learned from Walker´s performance this year. I really expected him to do better on promos that what he managed to pull off and thus he will now be full time jobber who is likely to win about as much as Bali Daljit. Walker´s in ring skills didn´t exactly amazed me either. He had F+ as match average, in fact he´s best rating was E- and he only got that rating once (against Heath). Still somehow Walker managed to gain F popularity on South UK and so he is actually more over than Otto who overall had a better year.

LOWER MIDCARD:

http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/2664/balidaljit.jpg

Bali Daljit

Age: 20

Face, Old School Face

record: 0 - 0 - 9

ESE´s jobber boy Bali didn´t exactly had a remarkable year with nine straight losses that where mostly squash matches. Still despite having F+ match average I think he did an ok job with four E- match ratings. It comes to no surprise that Bali still has F- overness and that isn´t necessary changing anytime soon though he will likely get a win or two now that he is in a storyline.

OTHER STAFF

http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/3360/mikepeterson.jpg

Mike Peterson

Age: 40

Heel, Old School Heel

Peterson did good job as did all my non-wrestlers and thus he have quite secured job right now

http://img704.imageshack.us/img704/9736/saltylarry.jpg

Salty Larry

Age: 45

Face, Staff Member

Larry actually doesn´t have all that secured spot mainly because I´m wondering if I should bring in many Morhan who would be better announcer and who has positive locker room influence. In fact I did bring Morhan in on that now lost first save (Larry had negative influence then and had have two incidents). It remains to be seen which way I go but it´s safe to say that Larry is walking on a very thin line right now.

http://img682.imageshack.us/img682/1513/tylerbaker.jpg

Tyler Parker

Age: 38

Face, Staff Member

Tyler did a good job as referee and right now he has pretty secured spot on a roster.

Predictions:Some what hard month on predictions. I pretty much expected everyone to get at least one of the last two matches wrong (so that the title match would have been the usual heel vs. face), but somehow Boltinho managed to dodge the bullet there and got all five right, good job!:) Another thing that I have noticed is that Martin Heath don´t seem to get much love from you, and that continued this month with half of you picking Walker over him:)

The first ESE Eternal Battle in 2011 includes a King of the Network title match when Arthur T. Turtle is defending his title against Norman Gates, who got this title shot by beating Glen Ward in ladder match. Will Turtle prevail once again or is Gates and his high impact offence enough to get him the title that´s everyone is aiming for. And what about Chuck Frisby? How will he react now that he failed to get the belt from Turtle again? We will definitely find it out since Frisby will team up newcomer Trance in order to face Bali Daljit and Thunderbolt in tag team action. Glen Ward is trying to get back on track after two losses when he faces Otto Hammerschmidt in singles action. Martin Heath is also in action this month and he will ace one half of the Foreign Legion in Pierre DuPond.

Predictions:

Glen Ward vs. Otto Hammerschmidt

Pierre DuPond vs. Martin Heath

Trance & Chuck Frisby vs. Bali Daljit & Thunderbolt

1 vs. 1 for the King of the Network title

Norman Gates vs. Arthur T. Turtle

January 2011

Friday week 3

http://img704.imageshack.us/img704/5061/ese1.jpg

ESE Eternal Battle (small, 1h)

Held in The Paddington Club, attendance 4 peoples

ANGLE:

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/4388/ottohammerschmidt.jpghttp://img10.imageshack.us/img10/4193/glenward.jpg

Otto Hammerschmidt comes from backstage and heads to the ring for tonight’s opening match, but before he gets to the ring, Glen Ward attacks him from backside and beats him down before rolling Otto to the ring and signaling referee to start the match. F-

Ward needs to rebuild his overness so it´s going to be a squash match and pre-match attack gives Otto a reason to lose so clearly

1 vs. 1

http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/4193/glenward.jpg vs. http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/4388/ottohammerschmidt.jpg

Glen Ward vs. Otto Hammerschmidt

Ward makes short work on Otto who didn´t have time to recover from the pre-match attack. Otto ends up tapping the mat after Ward locks Judo Choke-Sleeper on him.

WINNER: Glen Ward by submission in 6:24 E-

Like I said Ward needs to rebuild his overness.

ANGLE:

http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/4193/glenward.jpg

After the match Ward picks up a microphone.

Ward: Norman Gates, you no good alcoholic made a huge crime against humanity last month when you cheated your way to the title match. I knew you are selfish but I didn´t expect your lust for the gold to be so bad that you put it over the well-being for everyone who watch this show. I mean it´s clear that I´m the only possible role model in this company and thus I´m the one who should be carryinging the belt around and tell people how they can get to the path of straight edge. But do not fall in desperation people since I have another chance to prove you that I´m willing to fight in order to safe you all. You see next month there will be a triple thread match and the winner will become the next number one contender. And I´m in that match-up so it should be clear who the winner will be. So Turtle or Gates, which ever of you two won this month, keep that belt polished so it will look good around my waist once I beat you. E

Ward gets some promo time mainly because I wanted to further his feud with Gates but it´s also sets up the three way title match-up that I will have next month.

1 vs. 1

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3450/pierredupontalt1.jpg vs. http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/4246/martinheath.jpg

Pierre DuPond vs. Martin Heath

Pierre and Heath have a decent back-and-forth match but eventually Heath pick-ups the win with Flying Fist Drop. This bout took too long as it dragged down on the middle

WINNER: Martin Heath by pinfall in 8:04 E-

Pretty much a filler match, where I used two of my better wrestlers who didn´t have anything else to do tonight. Unfortunately I had to give them a little more time than I should have but still they managed to have decent match rating.

ANGLE:

http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/9141/thunderbolt.jpghttp://img706.imageshack.us/img706/2664/balidaljit.jpg

Thunderbolt and Bali Daljit comes in the ring together to make an announcement.

Thunderbolt: I have been trying to rid ESE from evil doers for some time now and I got to admit that it´s have been hard and will likely only get harder. But now I have found a partner who shares my dream of pure ESE where there are no crimes and where forces of righteous keep ever vigilant watch to make sure that every crime will be punished.

Daljit: That´s right, we will join our forces, so let´s see how evil doers can resist the combined might on a New Age Superheroes, the best tag team in ESE. F+

Yeah, bold words from two jobbers who win a match in every ten years or so. The main reason for this angle was establish the new lower midcard tag team.

2 vs. 2

http://img576.imageshack.us/img576/3674/trancealt3.jpg & http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/4507/chuckfrisby.jpg vs. http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/2664/balidaljit.jpg & http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/9141/thunderbolt.jpg

Trance & Chuck Frisby vs. New Age Superheroes (Bali Daljit & Thunderbolt)

Bali and Thunderbolt didn´t do too good here despite claiming to be superheroes. In fact both Trance and Frisby dominated and the only reason why this one did go as long as it did was because Trance and Frisby spend more time arguing and everything-you-can-do-I-can-do-better game than actual wrestling. Frisby picks up the win in the end with Neckbreaker on Bali.

WINNERS: Trance & Chuck Frisby by pinfall in 5:58 F+

Even though Bali and Thunderbolt are in the feud right now they still are jobbers and Frisby needed some overness back after dropping to F+ in November. I was hoping that Frisby would have been able to carry this match to E- rating but it wasn´t to be. I should have but this in the place of Heath vs. DuPond and but that match as semi-main event.

ANGLE:

http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/4507/chuckfrisby.jpghttp://img10.imageshack.us/img10/344/arthurtturtle.jpg

After the match Trance and New Age Superheroes leave the ring but Frisby gets himself a microphone and starts running his mouth.

Frisby: I have received a word that there will be number one contender match in next´s month ESE Eternal Battle. Now that is just another ploy that is aimed to stop me to reach my destiny and become the King of the Network champion. It´s obvious that Turtle is becoming quite desperate now that he hasn’t been able to pin me in last two matches.

Turtle comes from backstage and it seems like he had heard enough.

Turtle: If my memory doesn´t lie, I beaded you last month Frisby. In fact you get so desperate that you rather disqualified yourself than continued the match and that’s why you aren´t the number one contender anymore.

Frisby: Desperate? I was far from desperate. It was you who where separate, in fact you was so desperate that you decided to cheat and get me disqualified rather than continue the match like any real champion would have done. But if you and that joke of a management team things that anyone can stop me from reaching my destiny you are wrong. I´m in that three way contender match and once I win I will take the title from either you or that drunken what-ever-his-name-was biker. E+

Again solid promo from these two (or from Frisby actually since I used challenge angle where Turtle wasn´t rated.) though not as good as some of the earlier ones.

1 vs. 1 for the King of the Network title

http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/7738/esekingofthenetwork.jpg

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3632/normangates.jpg vs. http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/344/arthurtturtle.jpg

Norman Gates vs. Arthur T. Turtle

Gates managed to keep this fight a close one but eventually Turtle showed why he is the champ and picked up a win and title defense number five with Sky Twister Press.

WINNER: Arthur T. Turtle by pinfall in 6:34 E-

This match was all about giving Turtle another title defense since like I have said I believe that with running only one show on month it´s important to have title defenses quite often and since I build my storylines the same way that TNA or WWE does (Those are the only wrestling promotions that I have ever seen so I obviously take quite much influence from them) hence the need on some filler matches like this one. match itself was disappointing but now that I thing about it I should have expected E- based on their earlier performances and the fact that this was a face vs. face match.

Show rating: E-

Trance come up late tonight, I gave him slap on the wrist and he promised to be more punctual I the future. Oh well, at least he didn´t attack anyone else. Exodus2010 got bankrupt and MOSC will follow them soon (they just got that last warning) so that´s one less UK promotion to worry about.

Predictions: No surprises this month, with Enigma getting all four right and pretty much everyone else only missing Heath´s match (not a suprise anymore now that I know that most of you don´t like him). Maybe I should turn Heath heel and give him a Goldberg push? He would definitely draw heel heat (or X-Pac heat):D. Ok, maybe not, I´m doing badly enough without Heath being my top guy so no need to make it worse.:p

In this month´s ESE Eternal Battle we will determinate the next number one contender for Turtle´s King of the Network title. Last month we learned that both Chuck Frisby and Glen Ward will be part of the match and the third guy will be Norman Gates who just lost his title shot match last month. Turtle himself will also be in action when he will team up with Martin Heath against Foreign Legion. Trance will also try to continue his success and get his fourth win on the row. This time Otto Hammerschmidt is the guy who tries to stop Trance´s winning streak. New Age Superheroes didn´t have particularly impressive debut as a tag team but this month they try to get their first win as tag team when they face Vic Walker and Frank Simmons.

Predictions:

Trance vs. Otto Hammerschmidt

New Age Superheroes (Bali Daljit & Thunderbolt) vs. Vic Walker & Frank Simmons

February 2011

Friday week 3

http://img704.imageshack.us/img704/5061/ese1.jpg

ESE Eternal Battle (small, 1h)

Held in The Paddington Club, attendance 4 peoples

ANGLE:

http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/4507/chuckfrisby.jpghttp://img10.imageshack.us/img10/4193/glenward.jpghttp://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3632/normangates.jpg

Show starts with Chuck Frisby already in ring holding a microphone.

Frisby: Turtle, I recommend that you watch closely for the number one contender match tonight, as once I have won that I will come right after you again and finally prove that Chuck Frisby is not a joke.

Ward´s music cuts Frisby before he can go any longer.

Ward: Just wait a minute Frisby this isn´t a comedy hour so please leave your jokes to the backstage. I mean we all know that I will be the winner and…

Ward doesn´t get to speak any longer either because Norman Gates cuts him off.

Gates: Neither of you two aren´t going to be in the title match because the toughest bad ass in UK, that´s me in case you haven´t realized, will be in the match and it´s going to be me who takes the victory here tonight.

All three guys start running their mouth to each other’s and it doesn´t take long before fists starts fly. Soon it´s full out war in the ring and it takes dozens of officials (yeah, no idea how local promotion has that many guys) to separate them from each others. E

Giving some time to promote the triple thread match. Hopefully Ward and Gates picked some mic skills from Frisby in the progress but likely not. As a side note all three guys were rated on entertainment.

1 vs. 1

http://img576.imageshack.us/img576/3674/trancealt3.jpg vs. http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/4388/ottohammerschmidt.jpg

Trance vs. Otto Hammerschmidt

Trance seems to be a little too overconfident after his resent win streak and Otto puts him on though test. Eventually Trance manages to get his game together and the fight continues as even for some time until Trance manages to make a surprise roll-up and pulls Otto´s tights for the win. Otto and Trance didn´t click and it made the bout a little awkward.

WINNER: Trance by pinfall after pulling tights in in 5:46 E-

Trance gets another win but since I value Otto higher than Thunderbolt and Bali it wasn´t a domination victory (also plays with the idea that Trance is climbing on ladders and thus starting to face tougher competition.) Still not a great match from Trance but definitely better especially considering that bad chemistry note.

2 vs. 2

http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/2664/balidaljit.jpg & http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/9141/thunderbolt.jpg vs. http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/8026/vicwalker.jpg & http://img682.imageshack.us/img682/2251/franksimmonsalt2.jpg

New Age Superheroes (Bali Daljit & Thunderbolt) vs. Vic Walker & Frank Simmons

Daljit and Thunderbolt showed better team work than their opponents in this match and that what´s proved to be the deciding point with Thunderbolt hitting Simmons with Bolt from the Blue while Daljit kept Walker busy.

WINNERS: New Age Superheroes by pinfall in 7:13 F+

What? Daljit actually won a match? Well yeah, since they are now a tag team I felt that they needed to win a match in order to give them some creditably now that they are feuding with Foreign Legion.

ANGLE:

http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/9141/thunderbolt.jpghttp://img706.imageshack.us/img706/2664/balidaljit.jpghttp://img714.imageshack.us/img714/8043/jacquesdupontalt1.jpghttp://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3450/pierredupontalt1.jpg

After the match New Age Superheroes are celebrating but it´s cut short when Foreign Legion attacks from behind and beat them down. F-

Again badly rated overness angle that I used in order to further the feud.

ANGLE:

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3450/pierredupontalt1.jpghttp://img714.imageshack.us/img714/8043/jacquesdupontalt1.jpg

After the beat down DuPond´s take microphones and shares their thoughts to the crowd.

Pierre: You two maggots really think that you can just form a tag team and call yourself the best tag team in ESE?

Jacques: You see you slimes forgot about us. WE are the dominant tag team around here, in fact we are so dominant that we are the only tag team around here.

Pierre: That´s right and how it could be any other way? I mean we are the elite force on French Army, heck we are two mans army.

Jacques: And now you think you can challenge us? We give you a good advice, surrender now since we won´t take any prisoners once we start the war. F+

Foreign legion finally gets some mic time to establish their characters. Unfortunately they aren´t great talkers and that showed here.

Three way for the number one contender spot for King of the Network title

http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/4507/chuckfrisby.jpg vs. http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3632/normangates.jpg vs. http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/4193/glenward.jpg

Chuck Frisby vs. Norman Gates vs. Glen Ward

Gates and Ward let their feud with each other´s come in their way and Frisby is frequently forgotten in the heat of action and you cannot forget someone like Frisby and expect him not to capitalize the situation. That´s exactly what happens when Frisby suddenly interrupts the brawling between Gates and Ward and hits them both with Neckbreaker before pinning Gates for a three count.

WINNER: Chuck Frisby by pinfall in 5:35 E

Frisby continues his feud against Turtle so he won. This match also allowed me to continue the Ward vs. Gates feud nicely which explains why they were chosen over Heath or Trance (Also losing to Frisby hurts Ward and Gates less than it would had done to Trance or Heath).

2 vs. 2

http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/344/arthurtturtle.jpg & http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/4246/martinheath.jpg vs. http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3450/pierredupontalt1.jpg & http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/8043/jacquesdupontalt1.jpg

Arthur T. Turtle & Martin Heath vs. Foreign Legion (Pierre DuPond & Jacques DuPond)

Dupond´s show why they are a good tag team as they manage to keep themselves on control for some parts of this match but eventually Turtle and Heath proves to be victorious with Heath hitting Flying Fist Drop on Pierre.

WINNERS: Arthur T. Turtle & Martin Heath by pinfall in 6:24 E

No surprise here with my two main faces picking the victory over midcard tag team. However I wanted to sell the fact that Legion is a good team and thus there were no domination or even strong finish notes in this one. Dupond´s are good team to use in a main events in this way (losing my top faces) since they won´t lose overness by losing my top guys but they have good enough skills that I can trust them to put up a decent match up with right opponents.

ANGLE:

http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/344/arthurtturtle.jpghttp://img88.imageshack.us/img88/4507/chuckfrisby.jpg

After the match Frisby´s music starts and he walks to the ramp.

Frisby: So Turtle, you and ESE´s management tried to put obstacles to my course but as I have said no-one is able to stop me from reaching my destiny.

Turtle: First of all no-one isn´t building obstacles before you and secondly you have been talking and talking about your “destiny” but so far you haven´t been able to back your words in ring.

Frisby: You still think you are in a position to mock me? I will show you that…

Turtle: I know, I know, I have been hearing that same thing about a year now, could you please change the record or are you stuck with it or something.

Frisby: You will see…I promise.

Frisby leaves to backstage leaving Turtle in ring alone. Turtle shakes his head like he isn´t exactly sure what to think about Frisby.

Turtle: Man that guy is a few bricks short from a chimney. E+

Yes, this was just the standard Turtle/Frisby promo that´s has the usual two purposes: 1) continue feud and 2) make a segment that actually gets better than E rating.

Show rating: E

Good show by my standards with two all time top then matches (main event was 2nd best match ever and Frisby´s triple thread win was 10th in the list) in it.
