<p>Well, I finally have CBS back...</p><p> </p><p>

Circumstances forced me to switch to Dish a little while back, (so no more WWE COD for me, though it looks like that's going away anyway, from some things I've seen online), and the first thing that happened was some sort of disagreement that led to CBS ... going away. It's back now though.</p><p> </p><p>

Lately, though, I've taken to watching an awful lot of Finding Bigfoot on Animal Planet. I enjoy that show quite a bit for some reason, and it's inspired me to break out my Harry & The Hendersons DVD.</p>

The Blacklist still continues to intrigue me even if the twist in episode 8 was lame :p My assumption was that the appointment of Keane was due to Red's criminal intent rather than what it really turned out to be. After yesterday's episode however, my faith has been restored, since the series continues to give just enough information away.

I've watched The Big Bang Theory for years now, but I have to say it has gotten worse from the starting seasons. I'm mostly tuning in for tradition rather than excitement. I feel like the episode plots are no longer of interest to me and some of the characters have gotten stale. I did moderately enjoy the Thanksgiving episode though and other than that Amy is often the funniest in an episode. Rather surprising considering I first didn't like her.

How I Met Your Mother is steady and stable, though I'm not sure where they are going with how the timeline is set with the last season. I mean the build up to the wedding has taken forever, just get on with it :p The main storyline is not grasping my interest either, but Barney and Marshall are still awesome.

Happy Endings was canceled, which wasn't a surprise since the show seemed to not have a destination. While it was probably the least favorite of the shows I watch, I still miss it a bit.

Of course after it was canceled Coach made his return to New Girl. New Girl is still my favorite show and absolutely hilarious at that. It's just so different and has great characters and episode plots. The only character I don't like is Winston, because he's just so weird. I hope they can manage to come up with something sensible for him in the near future. Now that Coach has gotten settled in, the show is even better!

My second favorite show is Modern Family, mostly due to it's distinctive characters. I can't believe they've managed to create such a compelling show from something so uninteresting in paper. I absolutely love Phil, but the rest of the cast is great as well. Probably the weakest link is Cameron since he tends to get annoying.

I also watched the pilot for Parks and Recreation lately, but didn't find it that good to be honest. Watched two episodes of Arrested Development too, which was a little better. The only plot line I have interest thus far is the George Michael (Michael Cera) and his cousin storyline. I think I'm going to continue watching Arrested Development, but I'd like to ask from anyone who has watched these two: do they get better overtime? If so, I might give Parks a chance as well.

Coach being so weird is part of his charm!

Honestly, Schmidt is my favorite character, but after him I can't pick a second favorite. Every time I say Jess is, Nick, Winston or Cece will do something hysterical that reminds me why their character is so great. It happens with each character. It's part of why I love the show so much though.

I loved Max Greenfield(Schmidt) when he was on Veronica Mars, so I'm so glad he's able to shine on a show.

Tried to catch some 'episodes' of wild Black Friday brawls but no luck. Here I am trying to get a laugh but apparently not all countries are permitted to watch. <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I'm on season 2 of Last Man Standing(Tim Allen sitcom) and I really enjoy it. I don't like that they changed the actress of the oldest daughter. Tim Allen is essentially doing his Tim "The Toolman" Taylor schtick, but a slightly more matured version, but not too mature.

Tim Allen's character(Mike) is probably my favorite character or maybe Ed(his boss/friend).

I love the kid playing Boyd though. He's adorable and seems like he could turn into a solid child actor. </p><p> </p><p> Mandy and Eve more than make up for Kristin's new actress. Plus, Molly Ephraim(Mandy) is drop dead gorgeous and plays the narcissist and superficial bitch with a heart insanely well.</p>

<p>I guess this would be a TV related topic so I shall post my general question in here. </p><p> </p><p>

So my friend is a big fan of Boardwalk Empire and we were talking about the various characters. I made an offhanded comment where I said, "I wonder what they are going to do with Arnold Rothstein. I mean he died and they never found out who killed him so I am wondering how they will write that in and who they will have kill him."</p><p> </p><p>

My friend looked at me and said, "Thanks a lot dude."</p><p> </p><p>

Well I had no clue why he was angry over what I had just said so I asked him and he said he was pissed because he really liked the Arnold Rothstein character and I have now spoiled the show for him.</p><p> </p><p>

I stated to laugh which made my friend even more pissed. Finally, after I was done laughing I said I did not spoil anything because it is common knowledge that Arnold Rothstein was killed. He said it was not common knowledge to him because he had never even heard or Arnold Rothstein until the show came on the air. </p><p> </p><p>

I guess what I am wondering is, is there a statute of limitations on spoilers?</p><p> </p><p>

If so does stuff that actually happened in real life fall under it?</p><p> </p><p>

I mean I did not think talking about a murder that happened nearly ninety years ago would constitute a spoiler but I guess I am wrong about that.</p>

I've always had interest in the show, but have yet to give it a go. I had no idea it was actually based on a real person though. Doesn't really spoil anything for me. I'm still intrigued.

I had no idea who Arnold Rothstein was though. I've never even heard the name.

When I think of famous gangsters, I think of Al Capone, John Gotti, John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson, Bonnie & Clyde and Pretty Boy Floyd. That might be because those all have hundreds of hours of documentaries and movies made about them though.

<p>Arnold Rothstein was probably most famous for fixing the 1919 World Series which led to the Black Sox scandal. He was also a mentor of sorts to Meyer Lansky and Lucky Luciano (Luciano was the man who setup the Commission).</p><p> </p><p>

As far at the show goes, it is not the most historically accurate show but it is still very good.</p>

I'm about to start the Wire, so I'll probably give Boardwalk Empire a shot after that. Every time I say I've never seen the Wire to people I get yelled at for missing one of the greatest shows of all time. I figure I better give it a shot and see what the fuss is about.

All three were based on the same subject matter (Books written by David Simon) though Homicide was understandably less grittier than the Wire or the Corner because it was on network TV. </p><p> </p><p> Also, in the later seasons of Homicide you can see Giancarlo Esposito post-Do the Right Thing (Which I still think is Spike Lee's best movie) and pre-Gus Fring. Homicide had such a great cast I always found it a shame that it never reached a greater audience.</p>
