Thanks to the latest Humble Bundle, I was able to get Remember Me and a slew of other games for PS3.

Remember Me has been pretty fun so far. Combat is unimaginative so far, but the finishers are pretty awesome and it's coupled with a cyberpunk storyline that's making me happy as heck.

Elite Dangerous is a great game! I didnt buy it yet but its on sale on XB1 so im thinking ill get i to it. Just looks like a massive time sink, which is a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it. Im surprised with all the bashing of No Mans Sky none of those players looked to the Starpoint Gemini series, of which Im a huge fan. It has all the exploration NMS promised and its not as hardcore or "griefy" as Elite Dangerous. The new game is in alpha and still needs a lot of work but I picked up Starpoint Gemini 2 on sale for like 10 bucks and played the crap out of it.

Yeah I know, but the first Elite was not in 3D like Freelancer, Freelancer "was" THE space opera game for a time (in 3D)

I played Freelancer to death back when it came out..

Had my first 'Grrrrr' moment in Elite. Found a decent set of systems to trade between and getting about 30k a trip.. I then see a 100k trip to get some machinery for them.. Bargain I think..

Getting to that system, and I cant find the planet i need to land on.. Turns out that I haven't scanned the system and everything is unexplored.. I go through planet after planet and when I get to the final one..... INTERDICTED

I go in all guns blazing and doing pretty well, until he figures out that im a slow bugger and gets behind me.. I fire up my FSD drive to get away but get blown up mere seconds from escaping...

Cargo lost... Planet not found

<p>I'lol probably give it a try over the next few days, FIFA has become stagnant over the past years and I really am losing interest.</p><p>

Has anyone tried the Battlefield 1 open beta, thoughts and opinions? I'm not a fan of it to be fair, too much spawn camping and I am terrible at it despite being okay on Battlefield 4, for the life of me I cannot see anyone and constantly get shot from behind or sniped.</p>

<p>I've always been a PES-lover and last year's edition was pretty sweet. Haven't played the demo yet but I probably will soon.</p><p> </p><p>

The story mode in FIFA will basically be a BeAPro-mode with cutscenes. It will be better because of it but it'll still be unwanted given you want to play with the whole team. Unless the AI suddenly became good.</p>

I beg to disagree.

Neither Fifa or PES appeal to me this year so it'll be the first year I don't get either.

EA have become lazy with Fifa and expect us to buy the same rubbish every year. The new engine is only going to really be obvious when playing "The Journey" (maybe on replays too) which will be played through once. Why would you want to repeat the story again? Pointless waste of disc space that could have been used for the one thing Fifa fans have been crying out for for years, the ability to play a full manager career online with friends. I hate Ultimate team as it is just a con to get idiots to part with hundreds of pounds in real money to eventually get... no one of any significance. Basically (like the pointless womens "mode" last year) The Journey is just a gimmick that fans will become bored with very quickly, before realising they are stuck with Fifa 2016 in a shiny new shell but with all the nonsensical BS from previous games like being hacked down in the box right in front of the referee and not being awarded a penalty before tackling an opposing player and giving away a free kick because your shirt lightly touched his.

Until Microsoft give Xbox One owners the same rights Sony do for it's PS4 owners on PES in terms of being able to download the "real" data for the game, I have zero interest in a cluster of real and fictional teams and players. Besides, their game modes are horrendous.

In PES's defense, I always loved the Master League. It might lack depth but it's exciting to watch your team grow. Maybe one day they can work in a full manager mode, but you might be underestimating how difficult that could be and how little the mainstream interest would be (unless it's as shallow as it is right now).

If they went with an all fake option then I could probably get into it but not a mix.</p>

Don't get me wrong. I'd be frustrated as well. It's just that... I don't know the players with the exception of the elite - which are always in the game. I wouldn't know the difference. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> I always start with the default fake players of Konami. They have a certain charm to them, and it feels like a complete team.

<p>EA are obviously trying to compete with 2K's MyCareer mode, but if The Journey doesn't force you into set circumstances on set teams then I think it would do well..</p><p> </p><p>

I'd love to see a mode like that appear on their NHL games.</p><p> </p><p>

-----------</p><p> </p><p>

I've had the trial installed on my Xbox for Ark for a while now and only played it a little. Whats very interesting (and annoyed the PC players a lot) is that while the game is in Game Preview/Early Access, they have released a full price expansion pack for it that's roughly the same price as The Witcher 3's Blood & Wine.</p>

I already have the game, but if you guys can get 5 people together this is a great value pack. The game comes highly recommended by Adam, so that's a great reference. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

I'm also open to playing some multiplayer games if they've released the MP patch by now.</p>

Like I know some are really big but isn't it more fun to watch on a really big TV and play on console? I play on PS4 because I cant afford computers anywhere near good enough to run games like TWD.</p>
