Okay, I got lucky and Dark Souls 2 did draw me in, and I'm definitely hooked now.

That being said, picked up WWE 2k14 the other day as a game to kinda take a break from the seriousness of Dark Souls with. I told myself I wasn't going to buy it after WWE 13's disappoints were at times just too much for me, but i've gotten over it. I think the game works well as a game I play in breaks, but shouldn't be my main go to game. Still has a lot of of the problems from last year and I don't find the 30 Years of Wrestlemania as fun as the Attitude Era stuff. Also, I played 2 online matches and received terrible gamers in both and terrible lag in both, quickly souring me there. That being said, what do you hope they do next time for a story type mode? I think it would be cool if they looked over to the other company and tried to do a story mode based on WCW or maybe even just the NWO time period but used branching story arcs like No Mercy did so you could have multiple plays through the story. After writing that out, yeah, that would be awesome.

I know, it's all wishful thinking and I doubt we'd ever get anything like it, but I'd love it.

Guess what. All but 1 game has worked like its supposed to. Even paid games have problems. So your logic is terrible.

I wouldn't know. I don't steal games. And while no one's ever told me I have the best logic in the world, I was never short sighted enough to post about stolen games in a forum dedicated to a software developer. But what do I know?

All my games have worked so far, barring maybe one, which I wouldn't even be able to name. And I...do have a lot of games on Steam. So there's logic for ya. :D Then again, I don't buy crapgames, and basically don't play them alltogether.

Personally speaking, people who torrent games are the worst kind of people. Nothing like taking money out of people who have sweated over making games and then gloating about it. It's one of the big things I fear about my own future (currently in second year of a games development course at uni).

In other news, the advanced edition of FTL recently came out. So I think I know where my weekend is going. :p

Oh I love justifications on why people steal stuff. Look, I'm no monk. You wanna steal games, music, movies, whatever don't be all high and mighty about it. You wanted something you didn't want to pay for. It's that simple.

"I have ADD" is crap. So is "im broke". There's legal alternatives. Gamefly has a streaming PC game service. If you have a gamefly account it's free and if you don't, then get one. It's well worth the money.

Pick up steam, check out humble bundle and indie gala. I'm telling you between those three services alone I've probably bought close to 25 games in the last six weeks and MAYBE dropped $60 COMBINED. And that's with healthy donations to humble bundle and indie gala. Side note- I'm not on a high horse here, I used to pay minimal donations from those sites when I was broke. I get that. If you are dead broke and put a bare minimum donation at least somebody get's something. The devs in that case are essentially donating their games to charity so it's not theft. It might be a little bit of bad karma, but at least it's legal. At least if $1 goes to a good cause it's not a complete waste. I just like to toss a little extra money to devs/charity now that I'm in a better place financially because I want to support what they do.

I'm not trying to lecture you about stealing. I hope I don't sound like an arrogant hypocrite. Like I said I'm no saint. But I can say that discussing it on Grey Dog's forums in the cavalier tone that you have been is extremely disrespectful to this site and it's developers. We're talking bout extremely small teams, in many cases ONE GUY with some help from a few outside sources here and there. I can't imagine how that must make them feel when they see someone not only openly discussing piracy, but then justifying it and acting like everyone else are the bad guys here.

As the great Captain Hook would say, "bad form"!

I always, always, watch a gameplay video (usually the opening of the game) to see if it's something I'd like to play. And like Big T said, there are so many legal alternatives. I have a bookmark folder in my explorer of about 10-15 different games websites where I'll search the game in each one and buy the cheapest. Then there are Steams weekend and mid week sales (last weekend it was a huge one based on Square Enix / Eidos, and I managed to get all three Arkham games for less than £15!), and I always check to see what's on Humble Bundle, especially with their actual bundles, as you often get some real gems. Torrenting (here in the UK most "well known" torrent sites are blocked by our ISP's) copywrit material is not only illegal but can also be extremely dangerous as they can be laced with viruses, Trojan horses, Cryptoware, etc.

I can't complain one bit. I'd have easily dropped a buck or two for this. The extra content is pretty vast and really adds a few layers to a game i was ready to leave behind. I forgot how much god damn fun FTL is.
