USPW AMERICAN WRESTLING!

Wednesday Week 3 March 2010

Location: Huntsville Fairgrounds (South East)

Attendance: 5,000

Overall Rating: B-

TV Rating: 1.52

[it's the house that USPW built! Alright, not really, but a lot of USPW shows are held here in the Huntsville Fairgrounds in Huntsville, Alabama. So the building is definitely not under-used. The crowd of 5,000 screaming fans are on their feet as we begin the show that everyone is watching around the world: USPW American Wrestling! The focus turns to the top of the entrance ramp and a cheer breaks through the crowd at the first person to walk through and head toward the ring...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/Liberty_dse81.jpg

[...It's The Dude James Justice! James pauses about halfway down and turns, sliding on his trademark shades onto a lucky fan who looks to be about 8 years old. Isn't that sweet? Justice gives a thumbs up and a goofy smile before he continues on down to the ring. He walks around and is handed a microphone before he slides inside. He raises the microphone to his lips and a 'Dude' chant breaks out through the crowd! James smiles that goofy smile and gives the crowd a thumbs up before bringing the microphone back to his lips...]

James Justice

"DUDES!"

[...The crowd sings along with Justice as everyone is standing on their feet, waiting to hear what the former USPW World Champion has to say...]

James Justice

"Thank you everyone. Thank you. Now, you can all please take your seats, that dude in the back row can't see!"

[...The crowd responds to Justice's request! Justice paces inside the ring for a moment before moving to speak again...]

James Justice

"First of all, Dudes, I wanted to come out here and congratulate the Platinum Dude publicly for winning the USPW World Television title! Congratulations Platinum Dude, you earned it by beating Andre Jones fair and square in the center of the ring. Now, last week, Andre comes out here and says that he has an issue with The Dude because I made sure the contest was fair and square. I made sure there was no interference by Henry, the Volleyball. I think that is a fair statement and assessment of what I did two weeks ago, right?"

Andre Jones

"NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!"

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/AndreJones.jpg

[...Andre Jones and Henry come walking out from the back. Andre is holding Henry close to his chest as he walks toward the ring. Henry has a frown face painted on with eyebrows made to make him look angry. Andre rolls inside the ring and looks James Justice up and down...]

Andre Jones

"Alright, everyone, take a good long hard look at the man who cost me my USPW World Television title! Look at him! That's right, Henry. Henry says you are nothing, James Justice. You are nothing but an insignificant speck on the radar here in USPW. That's why you had to interfere in MY match. You wanted to remake your name for yourself. Well, I have a remake for you. It's called Nightmare on Jones Street. It stars me kicking your butt up and down the arena at Liberty And Justice. What do you say?"

James Justice

"First of all, Dude, the VolleyDude needs a tic-tac! Seriously. Haven't you got any volleybreathmints or something? As for your challenge for the pay-per-view named after me? You're on, Dude! I have never been one to step down or back away from a challenge and that's not going to start tonight. You better strap on those boots tight, Dude, because at Liberty And Justice you're going to get brought to the mat by the red, white and..."

[...Andre tosses Henry at James. James automatically catches the volleyball and Andre uses the distraction to sweep out the leg of Justice. Andre gets up and puts the boots to the former USPW World Champion while the crowd begins a 'Dude' chant, trying to get Justice to fight back! Andre pulls Justice up and tucks him between his legs -- Blast From The Past Piledriver! The crowd boos enormously as Andre gets up and grabs Henry, raising him into the air. These two will meet at USPW Liberty And Justice in just a little over a week!]

Match #1

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/Enygma_alt1jt.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/JimForce_dse81.jpg

Enygma vs. The Force

[Our opening match here on American Wrestling featured two men of mystery. The Mysterious Enygma and the man known simply as The Force. The Force got the crowd going, running to the ring and shaking the ropes, pounding his chest. Then he took a breather in the corner while Enygma came down through the crowd. He paused about midway through and shoved a fan in the back of the head who was holding up a sign reading: 'That Lady In The Rafters Was My Mee-Maw!' He made his way down to the ring and The Force attacked him before the bell! The Force took him down with several vicious clotheslines before he beat his chest again to a large crowd ovation, including the fan within the crowd holding up a sign reading: 'Feel Tha Force!' The Force grabbed Enygma up and raised him in a press slam overhead, dropping him backward so he landed chest-first on the mat! The Force bounced off the ropes -- big splash -- missed! Enygma rolled out of the way of the splash! The Force seemed to have come down wrong on his leg because he grabbed at his knee and ankle. Enygma took advantage of that for several minutes, banging The Force's leg against the ring post. Within a minute, Enygma locked on the Enygma Variation! The Force reached for the ropes but he couldn't quite get there! He tried valiantly but again nothing -- The Force -- Quit! The Force had to give up or risk serious permanent damage!]

Winner: Enygma (Via Submission @ 5:50)

Match Rating: C+

[...Enygma released the hold and stood up with his arms raised. Then he put the boots to The Force! The crowd booed! Enygma walked over and picked up his baseball bat looking to The Force...but the lights went out! The crowd stirred as they wondered what was going to happen next. The lights came back on with someone standing behind Enygma...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/Acid.jpg

[...It's Acid! Acid stands behind Enygma as Enygma looks toward the corner, ready to strike with a baseball bat. Acid is tied to a harness. He reaches down and picks up The Force. Enygma turns around and swings the baseball bat -- the lights go out again! What is going on here? When the lights come back on, Acid and The Force are gone, leaving Enygma standing alone in the center of the ring. Definite mind games going on here by Acid.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/USPW.jpg

[As the crowd gives Enygma the occassional boo now, the USPW-Tron lights up and draws the attention of the crowd. Standing within the interview area are two beautiful women...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/SaraSilver.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/RavenNightfall_alt2.jpg

[...Sara Silver and the USPW Women's Champion Raven Robinson! Take it away, Sara!...]

Sara Silver

"Hello everyone, Sara Silver here, and I am back here with USPW Women's Champion Raven Robinson. Raven, it has recently been announced that you will be defending your USPW Women's title in a three way match at Liberty And Justice. You will be facing your arch-nemesis Cherry Bomb and Alicia Strong. Your thoughts as we are just over a week away?"

Raven Robinson

"First of all, I want to give my respect to Alicia Strong. She just went through a horrible ordeal with Peter Valentine and for her to come back and look for a Women's title shot so soon is amazing. But I am not looking to give up my Women's title belt so quickly."

[...Raven would have talked more but she was attacked from behind...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/CherryBomb_jhd1.jpg

[...Cherry Bomb hit her with forearm shots and then shoved her down to the ground. Cherry Bomb laid in some boots to her and then began pulling at her hair, screaming as Sara Silver called for some help back here and that came in the form of the fun police, who pulled Cherry Bomb off Raven Robinson.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/USPW.jpg

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/mattkeithf.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/CaptainUSA.jpg

Matthew Keith vs. Captain USA

[The crowd booed when 'Perfection' Matthew Keith came walking out from the back. He just gave an arrogant smirk as he walked down to the ring where Captain USA is already standing and soaking in some 'USA' chants. Keith entered the ring and looked across toward Captain USA, mocking him by mimmicking pushing along a walker. USA came charging at Keith and Keith ducked a punch. USA hit into the corner and Keith began throwing punches away at Captain USA. A hip toss out of the corner and then a dropkick sent USA back down to the mat. Keith stood up and did some jumping jacks in the ring, looking toward the camera and mouthing out..'Perfection.' Keith looked back to Captain USA and moved forward -- rolling neck snap! Captain USA holds his neck for a moment and Matthew Keith picks him up -- Fisherman's Buster! Keith soaks in the boos from the crowd as he does a few pushups. Then he comes back over to Captain USA and grabs him by the legs. He hooks him first into the scorpion deathlock position and then bridges backward, applying a reverse neck lock -- Proton Lock! Captain USA gives up almost immediately!]

Winner: Matthew Keith (Via Submission @ 5:54)

Match Rating: C+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/USPW.jpg

[The crowd boos the win by 'Perfection' Matthew Keith, who has a perfect record here in USPW as far as pinfalls and submissions go. He has never been pinned or made to submit here in USPW. The USPW-Tron lights up once again and we head to a hallway backstage following behind a man who has a gold belt around his waist...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/NickyChampion.jpg

[...It's USPW National Champion Nicky 'Hawkeye' Champion! The crowd cheers for our National Champion! He turns down a hallway and comes face-to-chest with another wrestler...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/BrucetheGiant.jpg

[...The camera had to pan way up to show the smiling face of Bruce The Giant. The two men look at each other for a moment...]

Bruce The Giant

"You better be ready for your match tonight, Champ."

[...Of course everyone knows that Nicky Champion will be taking on the number one contender Darryl Devine in our main event this evening. Bruce steps to the side after another long moment and Nicky walks past him, keeping an eye behind him though just in case an attack should occur but nothing happens this time.]

Match #3

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/USPW_TV.jpg

USPW World Television Title Match

James Prudence defends vs. Java

[This will mark the second defense of James Prudence's newly won USPW World Television title if he can get through the samoan known as Java. Prudence started the match off strong but tried to throw a couple of punches to the head of Java and ended up doing more damage to his hand than he did to Java's hard head. Java took advantage of this and brought down Prudence with a big headbutt! Java pointed and growled at a sign within the audience: 'Go Home Java!' Java bounced off the ropes and dropped a leg across the throat of the Platinum one and then made a cover: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout! Nearly a big win for one half of Savage Fury! Java pulled Prudence to his feet and sent him hard into the corner. Java came running in and Prudence moved out of the way! Java hit chest-first into the corner! Prudence grabbed Java around the waist -- German Suplex! The impact rocked the samoan! Prudence got up and pointed toward a sign in the crowd: 'I invested in the Prudential Pain Plan!' He looked down toward Java and hooked him up -- Prudential Pain Plan! It takes only moments for Java to start tapping out!]

Winner: James Prudence (Via Submission @ 5:35)

Match Rating: C+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/USPW.jpg

[A big successful title defense for 'Platinum' James Prudence! The USPW-Tron lights up again and all of the fans turn their attention to the big video screen. A cheer erupts through the crowd, getting louder and louder at the man who shows up on the screen...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/ChrisCaulfield_alt1.jpg

[...It's the USPW World Champion 'The Hardcore American' Chris Caulfield! Chris has the title belt around his waist and he looks into the camera...]

Chris Caulfield

"First of all, it's great to be here in Huntsville, Alabama for tonight's USPW action!"

[...Cheap pop!...]

Chris Caulfield

"Darryl Devine, in a little over a week you and I will be stepping inside the ring to settle our differences man versus man. Last week, you said that everyone wants to be you but I have to correct that statement. Everyone, including you, wants to be where I am at right now. I am the USPW World Champion. That means that I will defend this belt against anyone, against all comers all over the world. At Liberty And Justice, you are the man I have to defend the belt against. With the help and support of all these fans not just here in Huntsville but all over the world, how can I lose? At Liberty And Justice, you and I are going to get hardcore American style."

[...Chris looks into the camera for a moment and then we head back to the ring.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/USPW.jpg

Match #4

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/T-Rex_alt1.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/ShaneSneer.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/FreddieDatsun.jpg

T-Rex vs. Freddie Datsun

[With the crowd all fired up from the words by their USPW World Champion, the attention returned to the ring for this encounter as a preview to Liberty And Justice. The match was a brawl, much to no one's surprise, starting with some heavy hitting from the Jurassic Power known as T-Rex. T-Rex took Datsun over in a vertical suplex, floating over into a pinfall: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout! T-Rex tossed Datsun outside the ring and then got the referee's attention. As the cameras went outside the ring, they focused in on a sign reading: 'bang a gong,T-Rex!' Shane Sneer lined up on Datsun and then hesitated as a figure stepped in his path...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/DesDavids-1-1.jpg

[...It's Des Davids! Des helped Datsun up and got him back into the ring. He got the fans behind Datsun throughout this encounter. T-Rex was mostly dominant in this one but when Datsun broke a bear hug attempt he really started getting in control. Datsun sent T-Rex into the corner and then climbed up, raining punches down on The Jurassic Power! After ten, Datsun dropped down and signalled to the crowd that the end is near! Can he get T-Rex up for the Patriot Press? Outside the ring, Des Davids went down face-first to the floor. Why?...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/TysonBaine_alt1.jpg

[...Because he was nailed from behind with a clothesline by this man: Tyson Baine. Baine rolled into the ring and began exchanging punches with Freddie Datsun! The referee signalled for the bell quickly to disqualify T-Rex.]

Winner: Freddie Datsun (Via Disqualification @ 6:01)

Match Rating: C

[...T-Rex got Datsun by the legs, bringing him down to the mat. The Titans began stomping away on one half of the USPW World Tag Team Champions! Des Davids suddenly entered the ring and he has a chair! The Titans scattered to the winds and the former football star stood within the ring glaring down at the two opponents for him and Datsun at Liberty And Justice. Des Davids asked for a microphone and received one...]

Des Davids

"Set! Hut! Tyson Baine, next week, you and I meet on the field of battle. You're going to get what you have coming to you. Hut! Hike!"

[...Des tosses down the microphone as Shane Sneer holds Tyson Baine back from entering the ring. What a match that should be next week here on American Wrestling!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/USPW.jpg

Match #5

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/BrucetheGiant.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/JackAvatar_dse81.jpg

Bruce The Giant vs. Jack America

[There was a definite size disadvantage for Jack America coming into this match with Bruce The Giant. 'The All American Boy' handed out American flags on his way into the ring and when he met Bruce in the center of the ring he looked like a small child compared to the 7'4," 600 pound giant. Bruce baited America into hitting him to start off the match. This didn't get Jack very far so he went for a double leg takedown. Yeah, like that was going to work. Bruce grabbed him and dropped Jack with a Giant Headbutt. America hit the mat hard. Bruce picked up America and sent him to the ropes. America ducked a clothesline and came back with a flying body press attempt but Bruce caught him in midair. Bruce showed his awesome strength by lifting Jack up into a press slam fashion and sending the Middleweight down to the mat on his back. The crowd tried to get behind America as Jack huddled back in the corner. Bruce pulled him up and choked him in the corner. Referee Baby Jamie had to step in and pull Bruce back so he wasn't disqualified. During this distraction, America got his bearings back some and threw all of his weight into the knee of Bruce The Giant! Bruce nearly buckled! His knees were definitely always his weak point. America began a hit and run tactic on the large knee of Bruce The Giant. While America held the advantage, someone came strolling down toward the ring...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/mattkeithf.jpg

[...It's 'Perfection' Matthew Keith! The crowd boos this man as he walks arrogantly to the ringside area. America has Bruce rocking and rolling in the ring. America sees Matthew at ringside and turns, yelling at him. Matthew raises his arms to say he's not interfering here. America turns and charges at Bruce -- twisting sidewalk slam! America got caught by Bruce! Bruce The Giant signals that it's over and pulls America to his feet, wrapping that large hand around America's throat. He raises his opponent in the air -- America struggles, trying to get free. America throws kicks -- Giant Choke Slam! The struggles were all for naught. Bruce makes the cover, hooking the leg: 1 -- 2 -- 3! The distraction by Matthew Keith proved costly!]

Winner: Bruce The Giant (Via Pinfall @ 8:01)

Match Rating: B

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/USPW.jpg

Match #6

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/Devine_alt1.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/Seduction.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/NickyChampion.jpg

Non Title

Darryl Devine vs. Nicky Champion

[Our main event is a match that proves that USPW is NOT just a place where old wrestlers go to die. Both men are under 30 years old and one of them is the USPW National Champion. This is a non title match, however. But the fans are behind Nicky Champion all the same in his match against the #1 contender to the USPW World title. Devine picked up the pace early on within the match, keeping Champion off-guard with some old-fashioned technical and high flying wrestling. Devine sent Champion out of the ring and then distracted the official. Seduction pulled off her shoe and hit Champion with it on the head! Champion went down in a heap! Seduction slid him back in the ring and Devine caught Champion with a few solid stomps and then made a cover: 1 -- 2 -- Foot on the ropes! The crowd cheered as Champion got that foot on the bottom rope! Devine yanked the foot off the ropes and hooked the leg, making another cover: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout! Devine rose up and started pushing referee Wilson Carlisle! Carlisle pushed Devine back and the two got into a heated conversation on Carlisle's ability to count to three. Champion rose up on all fours and rolled up Devine: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout!...]

[...Both men got to their feet and Devine ducked a Hawkeye Hammer! Devine kicked Champion in the gut and grabbed him -- Devine Dream -- NO! Nicky pulled back out and away, falling back within the corner. The two men stared each other down for a minute or two before going right back at each other. The two went back and forth until Devine regained the advantage. Devine took down Champion with a sharp backbreaker that had Champion crying out in pain. Devine dropped Champion off his knee and then bounced off the ropes -- rolling thunder! The crowd booed as Devine stood up and bowed to Seduction. He pointed to a sign in the crowd: 'he's a Champion no more' and then made another cover: 1 -- 2 -- Shoulder Up! Devine pulled Champion to his feet and sent him to the ropes -- Sleeperhold! The crowd boos as Champion struggles but cannot break the hold. He sinks down to his knees. The referee reaches for his arm -- it drops once -- it drops twice -- it drops three -- NO! Champion kept his arm up and the crowd went wild, clapping and stomping their feet as they get behind Champion...]

[...Champion had gotten to his feet and tossed a few elbows to the chest of Devine. The hold was broken and Champion grabbed Devine -- body slam! He picked up Devine quickly and sent him into the corner, following in with a corner clothesline! The crowd went wild as Champion threw a few knees to the chest of Devine and then hooked him -- brainbuster! Nicky Champion rose to his feet and got the crowd on their feet as well. He crouched and waited for Devine to rise to his feet -- Seduction got on the apron! Nicky turned and Seduction tried seducing Nicky Champion, drawing his attention on her. This gave Darryl Devine time to recover and he hit Champion in the back of the head with a forearm shot. Seduction dropped down off the apron and Devine pulled Champion to the center of the ring -- kick to the gut -- Devine Dream Drop! Darryl Devine hit his finisher! He makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Darryl Devine (Via Pinfall @ 9:44)

Match Rating: C+

[...Darryl Devine has pinned the USPW National Champion! A huge victory for the man known as 'Mighty Fine!' Seduction slid inside the ring to join Darryl Devine where they soaked in the boos. The sounds from the crowd turned from boos to cheers as someone walked from the back...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/ChrisCaulfield_alt1.jpg

[...It's USPW World Champion 'The Hardcore American' Chris Caulfield! Chris looks up toward the ring where Darryl Devine is standing. Devine makes the 'belt' motion at his waist and Chris just points down to his real belt. The two stare down as the show comes to a close. These two will meet in just over a week!]

Awesome. I get 6/6 my first time around, and my sign gets featured in a head-shoving by Enygma. With my USPW game history, this is where I'll get my fix. Great work, AD.

Andre Jones vs. MAW Wrestler American Patriot

As much as I love Patriot, the guests never ever win. Andre Jones victory via Henry the Volleyball interference!!! Defying conventional logic, the AMERICAN PATRIOT can't even win in USPW.

Cherry Bomb and Belle Bryden vs. Alicia Strong and Raven Robinson

Cherry Bomb's challenging for the title soon. Raven's partner will, too. Not expecting a Strong heel turn or anything, but I can see Cherry winning this one alongside a very talented partner...giving her some more momentum heading into the PPV.

USPW World Television Title Match: James Prudence defends vs. Tribal Warrior

What, one member of Savage Fury wasn't enough?

Tyson Baine vs. Des Davids

This one really was a tough call. Baine's a main eventer, though...I'll give him the win over Davids on push alone. Shallow, I know.

Darryl Devine vs. James Justice

DUDES!!! Justice needs a win!

Fan sign: Dude! Where's my Justice shades?!?

Andre Jones vs. MAW Wrestler American Patriot

Outsiders don't win in USPW

Cherry Bomb and Belle Bryden vs. Alicia Strong and Raven Robinson

Could go either way but I'll tip the heels to take the win here.

USPW World Television Title Match: James Prudence defends vs. Tribal Warrior

If Java couldn't defeat Prudence for the belt, his slightly inferior partner isn't going to either.

Tyson Baine vs. Des Davids

Davids is a rising star but Baine is an established main eventer

Darryl Devine vs. James Justice

Another victory for Devine to further legitimize him as threat for the World Title ahead of him challenging Chris Caulfield for the belt.

Sign: When will Pete The Hillbilly get a TV Title Shot?

Andre Jones vs. MAW Wrestler American Patriot

Doesn't really need explaining...

Cherry Bomb and Belle Bryden vs. Alicia Strong and Raven Robinson

Tough one, this. I think Cherry will DQ her team or get counted out. Basically continue to look like a lunatic.

USPW World Television Title Match: James Prudence defends vs. Tribal Warrior

Not going to happen...

Tyson Baine vs. Des Davids

The USPW heirarchy may be being turned upside down at the moment but Baine's still the star in this match.

Darryl Devine vs. James Justice

Keep Devine's monster push going and keep him looking like a threat for the title. Could also see Justice losing by DQ but I'm sticking to Devine - expecting to see Jones somewhere.
