"Uh, yeah. Just, umm... why?"

"Why what?"

"Why any of this? I mean, why me? You have plenty of other choices. You have one employed right now."

"Well Jacob, there's a very good reason. You're in no bargaining position to work for more than peanuts which is a salary estimate we can afford to pay right now. Lucky you, right?"

"So you're firing Vibert to hire someone cheaper? You realize outsourcing is killing the American working class, right? Or do you Canadians just not care to learn from history?"

"Vibert's not being fired, he's just being moved to managing and commentating."

"Then what's the point of hiring me to be your head booker?"

"Two reasons really. 1, you work cheaper and 2, you try getting Vibert to shut up about his damn book deal. The bastard wants more money if he's going to focus on this job and not his little diary."

"Still though, there's gotta be somebody else for this job. I mean everything's going to be cleared up soon enough and I'll be back in America forgetting about my experience in this bass ackwards country of yours. No offense."

"None taken. And I wouldn't count on it. These things can take years to clear up when the person is innocent-"

"I am innocent!"

"Don't yell, it just makes you sound guilty. It's that desperation in your voice. Anyhow, your name is on the list."

"Not my name. Also not my fault they're dyslexic and/or illiterate."

He chuckles at that. Why is my suffering so funny to everyone else? I'm a human being too!

"I'm guessing you've never been to court."

"My parents settled outside of court and I didn't even do it anyway. They just threw in the towel way too soon. So little faith in their own son."

"Jacob, it doesn't matter who's right or wrong, it matters who has the better lawyer and I can assure you, you're a piss poor defender of yourself. Now you can either accept the situation that you're in, take the job and my help or you can just do what you've been doing. That's worked out well for the last 22 years of your life, hasn't it?"

"... Fine. You have a deal Mr. DeColt. But this thing's going to be cleared up by next week. Just so you know."

They're kind of like the Canadian SWF, but with less in the way of talent. Or entertainment. Or money. Or popularity. Still, fun promotion to run. <hr> OOC: Before getting into this first show let me just state that the size and format of this show is not indicative of future posts. The first two shows will have been 'Vibert-booked' and written up in a shorter recap format. Elimination will be the first written in my regular format, though it will probably be shorter than my average PPVs of the past have been. I also want to get a few things out of the way as well. Firstly, for those of you who may have said 'New J Silver dynasty? Awesome. Oh wait, it's J Silver, we'll be lucky to have two shows by Valentine's Day.' your cynicism is well founded by past events but I assure you, I already have two shows written up so suck on that cynics. In all seriousness though my previous dynasties all suffered from too many hours at a crappy customer service job and not enough time dedicated to writing, two problems that I feel have been resolved. Thus I should be able to get at least 1 show a week up from here on out. As for my previous USPW dynasty and its sudden demise I soon realized that my heart just wasn't into it. I mean really, I can't write Peter Valentine as a pregnant man because I have to keep him strong? I just don't want to live in that kind of world. On that note I'm also going to be much more lenient with myself about re-using characters that were in my original USPW than I was with my newer one. You can be damn sure if I can actually get the Wrath of God I'm not going to be thinking to myself what gimmick can I use that's not the Wrath of God. And lastly (that I can think of) I don't plan on doing that many backstage Stranton segments with this dynasty. They don't add that much to what's going on with the shows so I'll just be doing the occasional one, and mostly just for fun. As for the backstory of how Stranton ended up in Canada, I'll be revealing that over time. So, now that that's out of the way enjoy the show. First show today, second one tomorrow and PPV on Thursday or Friday. </hr> <hr> All right, so I'm sure you all have questions about how I ended up here and what the hell Alex and I were talking about. Ooo, scathing burn there. Whippy says that he needs to be cheered up and that he's going to help. Whippy tells the cameraman to stay quiet as they peek around a corner to find Gargantuan. Whippy tip-toes up behind him with a pie in his hand. Yeah, this'll end well for the clown. So, Whippy gets behind him, taps him on the shoulder and as he turns around hits him in the face with a pie. Whippy lets out his stupid clowny laughter and then sprays Gargantuan with a seltzer bottle. Oh stupid clown, you just signed your death certificate. The 7 foot tall hulking mass of muscle and unabashed rage grabs Whippy by the throat and slams him back into the cement wall. He then with one arm still clutching the clown's throat picks him up and tosses him through the drywall wall behind him. Gargantuan lets out a primal roar as he follows Whippy into the newly created doorway, but Phil Vibert just snaps his fingers and Gargantuan stops. And here I was thinking it was music that soothed the savage beast. Nope. Gargantuan steps out of his improvised doorway and follows Vibert out to the ring for his match. The Clown lays in the pile of rubble contemplating the moral of this story, "If you hit somebody bigger than you with a pie, they will f*** you up." I've spent entirely too much time griping about the clown, haven't I? (D+) (Great Chemistry) -In an extremely poor match, Stalight Express defeated The Little Canadians in 6:27 when Jefferson Stardust defeated Grimm Quibble by pinfall with a Stage Dive. (E+) (Quibble & Price have great chemistry together which is good, they're going to be jobbing together for a long time to come.) -Alex DeColt, Jack DeColt, Ricky DeColt and Hotstuff Marie appear in a Hype segment to get the crowd going (B+) <div style="text-align:center;">Main Show</div> -Here we open the show with just one DeColt in the ring. I don't know if that's progress or just laziness, I haven't decided. Ricky has a microphone and he's ready to whine his heart out about how Elite jumped his brother last week. Not that that's anything new, the kid just whines a lot. Have you ever met him? He's a whiny little brat with this sense of entitlement that makes me just want to punch the little c*ckbag. Enough about that though, let's get back to the Ricky these moronic fans actually like. He says Elite jumping his brother was wrong, it was cowardly, yada, yada, etc, etc, snooze. He also challenged one of them to face him one on one if they had the guts to. Adrian Garcia, Elite's manager, comes out and shuts Ricky up to boos from the crowd. Personally I cheered. Garcia says that Ricky should just shut up before he gets hurts. Amen. And that if he wants a match with a member of Elite he's got it tonight against Shooter Sean Deeley. Ricky tries sounding tough about how he's going to beat Deeley while Garcia just smirks and chuckles. Ricky turns around to give his mic back when he runs into Deeley. Ricky goes for a punch, but Deeley catches it, wrings his arm, flips Ricky onto the canvas and then locks in the Seated Stretch Arm-bar in quite the show of badassery I must say. Ricky cries like a little girl as Shooter pulls on the arm until security and other officials break it up. Deeley is restrained by officials while Ricky lay on the canvas clutching his arm and crying like a little girl. Priceless. (C+) -And now we go to Shane Nelson and Jenny Playmate. Together. In the hallway. Walking. And walking. And walking some more. And now getting jumped. By Vin Tanner. For some reason. Tanner beats on Nelson while Playmate keeps her distance. No, I have no idea why Tanner would want to jump Nelson. Not sure Vibert does either. Anyhow Tanner beats up on Nelson until Jenny grabs something down her cleavage and sprays Tanner in the face with it, which I can only assume is pepper spray. Tanner gets off of Nelson and runs off blindly crashing into many a thing as he does. You can tell where he went by following the trail of face indentations in the wall. The Du dances around the ring all happy and popping open Mountain Dews and pouring them mostly into his mouth. Then Gargantuan comes out to the ring. Du stops dancing for a moment as he looks into Gargantuan's eyes which are roughly 3 feet above him with a look of fear. He then mans up and pulls another Dew out of his pocket and chugs it down. He burps and then crushes the can with his forehead showing Garg he ain't afraid. Gargantuan proceeds to crush Du's head in with a headbutt. Gargantuan plays around with The Du for a minute or two before deciding he's tired of his new toy and smashes him over his knee with an Ultimate Backbreaker. He puts a foot on Du's chest and gets the pinfall. (E+)</div></blockquote> -Before Gargantuan and Vibert can leave the ringside area a video pops up on the tron. It's of Whippy the Clown in a hospital bed. The clown's bandaged up underneath his hospital gown most likely from Gargantuan's attack last week. Unless of course he got into a car accident, having 25 people in one sub-compact is just not safe. The Clown of course has his room decorated with cartoon clown decals on the wall, a get better soon banner hanging down and a balloon animal on the night stand. In a nice touch it even looks like the balloon animal has a tear coming out of it's eye. Unless of course that's the back end of it, in which case I don't even want to know what that is. Whippy starts talking. Oh joy, this'll be good. "Hewwo widdle boys and girls. Whippy here. I'm in da hospital because of mean old Gargantuan. Awl I wanted to do was bwing a smile to his face, but he didn't smile. He attacked Whippy and left Whippy hurt. But Whippy won't stop twying to bwing a smile to his face. Whippy wants to westle Gargantuan at Ewimination and show him what a meanie he's been." Whippy then pulls a clown horn out of his gown and honks it as the message ends. It was as stupid as it sounds. Phil must have some kind of clowns getting hurt fetish with the way he's booked Whippy. (C) -Here we have exhibit A of how little Vibert gives a damn anymore. Katie Cameron interviews Joey Poison alongside Faith and Thrill Seeker about their upcoming match with Thomas & LaGrenier. Joey just says they're going to beat them tonight and that he's going to retain at the PPV. And that's it. Thrill Seeker throws in a cowabunga and they walk off. Yup. Katie asks Ricky about his upcoming match with Deeley and Ricky goes on to whine and whine and whine and a little moaning for variety about Deeley and Elite. You know what my first act as booker is going to be? Ricky doesn't get a mic anymore unless he learns to be interesting or give a promo with less whine and more win. Anyway Ricky says something about beating Deeley and avenging his family or something. I don't really know, I was trying to tune him out. It was a fairly back and forth match with the end of it being my favorite as Deeley locked in the Seated Stretch Arm-bar and made Ricky cry like a little girl in pain once more. The sissy tapped out and Deeley picked up the win. (B-)</div></blockquote> -And what a shocker, after Deeley wins he attacks Ricky and Chandler & DaLay come out to join him in the attack. Even more shockingly the Decolts come out to save Ricky from big bad Elite. My god, this is exciting. For those who can't tell I'm being facetious. The DeColts and Elite brawl for like the bajillionth time as the announcers hype up how intense this is and how both teams will meet at Elimination. We fade out as the brawl continues. I think the Elite will win because one of the DeColts will turn heel. Then it won't be Elite vs DeColts and you can move on from that never ending storyline.

I wanted to pick Bobby Thomas but I think you are going to keep the belt on Poison still.

It just doesn't feel right that the DWB would win the titles right now.

-Newcomers Elimination Tag Match- Jimmy Idol (Prudence), Jacob Jett & The Hotshots (Vessey & DWN) vs. Firehawk (Steven Parker), Elder Moe (Citizen X) & Starlight Express (Stardust & Freelight/Cannonball)

This one I think can only go one way.

-Shane Nelson vs. Vin Tanner

I chose Tanner for no reason whatsoever. Flip of a coin.

-Whippy The Clown vs. Gargantuan

I like Whippy the Clown but Gargantuan has too much potential for this fed to lose to him. Although losing to Whippy isn't too bad since 1 menacing angle can fix his momentum.

-The Little Canadians (Quibble & Price) vs. The Soldiers of Fortune (Two old guys)

I don't like Quibble. Plus I have a soft spot for the Soldiers of Fortune.

Elimination Match- The DeColts vs. Elite (Chandler, DaLay & Deeley)

The weak links are Ricky DeColt and Sean Deeley on each team respectively. Deeley got the win on the one on one, so takes the loss here as the DeColts send the fans home happy. Rating B-

La Grenier has a ways to go, Thrill Seeker and Thomas are competitive, but Poison is the class of this division right now. Rating C

I predict one title change, and the DWB seem to be the best choice. A lot of mileage can be gotten out of a rough and tough tag team champions, whereas Maximillion and Grayson are pretty bland. Rating C-

There isn't even a chance that your favorite team loses this match, especially not with fodder like the Starlight Express around to take the fall. Jett I am not sold on being big anymore, but Prudence has solid potential, and we all know your special man crush for the Hot Shots. Rating D+

-Shane Nelson vs. Vin Tanner

Unless you steal Monkeypox's Old Man Tanner gimmick, I predict Tanner to be one of your first casualties Rating D+

-Whippy The Clown vs. Gargantuan

On one hand Gargantuan is a star waiting to happen, and gobbles overness like candy with that star power and huge menace. On the other he is a total cancer in the locker room. Still I am betting on you at least kicking the tires on trying to make him a monster heel first. Rating D+

-The Little Canadians (Quibble & Price) vs. The Soldiers of Fortune (Two old guys)

SoF get their token win so they can be fed to whoever the tag champions are down the road Rating D

Assuming you plan to abuse the hell out of angles with the DeColts ( minus Ricky) and the Elite I expect an overall grade of B- for the PPV
