Just a note, the picture you have assigned to Tim White is actually Jack Doan. It doesn't look like you have an actual pic of White in the data. Great job on the data, am having a lot of fun with it.

You're right, I wonder how that happened. He'll be having his own picture in the next release of the pic pack, thanks for reporting it.

For the next release, I will aim to add some more small indie promotions - even though they will be extremely hard to find accurate information on. I will do this because when playing the game, I see way too many unemployed wrestlers and would like to see more of them employed in one fashion or the other. Most of these promotions will probably be yet-to-debut, though.

Sweet Hive.

This is controversial I'm sure, but when I play mods I often add my own indies. They are indies, they don't matter. I'd rather have fake indies then have real ones that are inaccurate. I like to import CVerse feds and just resize them down to indy level.

Here are some real indy promotions that could be added.

Century Wrestling Federation (New England)

International Wrestling Federation (New England, owned by Killer Kowalski)

East Coast Professional Wrestling (Tri-State)

World of Unpredictable Wrestling (Johnny Rodz, Tri-State)

International Association of Wrestling (Mid-West)

Motor City Wrestling (Great Lakes, DET)

Global Wrestling Association (Ohio, AL Snow)

Sunshine Wrestling Federation (Florida, became FCW)

Independent Superstars of Professional Wrestling (Tri-State, King Kong Bundy did a lot of stuff here)

Southern States Wrestling (Memphis)

Cool, I'll look into it.

I have added Canadian Extreme Championship Wrestling and Showtime All-Stars Wrestling so far and have several others on my shortlist.

I know that very few people (if any) will actually play as these indie feds, but that's not the point of them: the point of them is to provide food at the bottom of the food chain. Not everyone can be sharks, and the smaller fish needs to eat as well.

Yeah I get it. I wish Adam would add a feature where you could designate feds as "indies" and their titles wouldn't count in title histories, being the booker of one wouldn't impact whether someone would take another job, etc. It's way too difficult to keep guys employed and the monthly indy shows that are simulated don't do much to deal with that.

A mistake, naturally. Will be fixed for next release.

I deliberated with myself about that one for a while. The reasoning for making them heel is that they only faced off in a series of matches against The Smoking Gunns while in WWF at this point of time, whom I believe were definitely face.

But of course, that was during a tour of Germany, so don't quite know what to make of it. They would perhaps make more sense as faces.

The thing is that the rest of the corporation took advantage of him and mistreated him, and it's my impression that he was sort of an unfortunate face that had no choice but to work for DiBiase because he needed the money.

Thanks. :)

On Nikolai Volkoff, that's definitely how it started. But IIRC, he wasn't getting much of a reaction at this point seeing as that it had been years since he had a major angle in the WWF, so they quietly switched him over to acting more heelish and made no more mention of being desperate for money. Again, I may be remembering that wrong as it's been awhile, but I think that's how it eventually played out.

As for the Rock 'n' Roll Express, I had no idea they were even still in the WWF by the summer of 1994, much less working matches overseas against the Smoking Gunns. So it makes me wonder if there's even a point in making them heel, though that can be easily fixed by us.

Fair enough, I'll change him to heel then.

It seems they only worked that one tour overseas in July, don't know what it was about. Where they big in Germany? Anyway, I've made them face now - as heel suits them about the same as it suits Ricky Steamboat.

I think I remember that they were brought in to fued with heavenly bodies and one of the bodies got injured?? I know they had a few matches with the bodies while in wwf.

Danny Bonaduce wrestled for WCW in 1994. I think he actually wrestled on a ppv though it was a dark match.

still this mod got me pumped...

Sounds likely.

Yeah he had a dark match at Spring Stampede 1994. Does not qualify for a contract with them in July, sorry.

still this mod got me pumped...

Splendid!

Version 1.02 released

This version is quite an update and features:

- 14 new promotions

- 48 new titles with 318 additional lines of lineage

- 55 new workers

- 23 new tag teams

...and many more tweaks and additions!

Download link in the first post.

The main goal with this release has been to add more indie promotions in a hope to allow more lower-tier and rookie wrestlers to get some experience. Apart from adding titles for these new promotions, I have also added titles (and their loooooooooooong histories!) for defunct WCCW/WCWA - meaning that if you like, you can create them ingame and buy their titles. The same applies with the AWA, and both have logos.

I have updated the graphics pack as well, to go with the new additions. Apart from logos for the added promotions and pictures for the added wrestlers, there are also a bunch of non-used logos added to be used with potential user-created promotions.

Enjoy, and be sure to report any bugs/issues!

awesome mode dude but i can only suggest adding the vacant spots in the title linage as it would make it more understandable to see when titles were vacant or stripped or vacated...

I have left that out on purpose, as I wanted to make the title histories as close to the ones the game creates itself as possible. I have seen other mods doing them in a completely different format, which irks me a bit. I want the history before the game starts to blend as well into the post-start histories as possible. And the game does not address vacancies.

Also, it would be a complete rework of title histories if I were to change that aspect now. Given that title histories take a buckload of time and are pretty much a huge chore, that simply won't happen.

I hope you can accept them the way they are. If you examine the histories closely, you will notice date gaps that indicate when titles have been held up for one reason or the other.

i understand no problem whats in the works in the future maybe a 1997 or 1998 mod or 1992 mod as there is non of them around

Next up is a major update for my 1995 mod. After that, if time and energi permits it, a 1996 mod. And again, if I'm up for it, a 1997 mod after that. And then 1998, if everything goes as planned. But then again, nothing ever goes as planned. :D

It all comes down to two things: time and motivation. I have no idea how long I'll be keeping either one.
