Ring of Honor

Week 4, July 2012

Singles Match

Colt Cabana vs Arik Cannon

Somewhat stalled in singles competition of late, Colt Cabana will be looking to get back to winning ways against the impressive Arik Cannon, who has been impressing ROH management with his performance of late.

Number 1 Contenders Match

Sara Del Rey vs Cheerleader Melissa vs Jessie McKay vs Daizee Haze

Four of the top women of honor battle over the number 1 contendership to Ayako Hamada's championship.

Tag Team Match

Kenny King & Yoshihiro Tajiri vs The New Embassy (TJ Perkins & Tim Donst)

It was announced this week on rohwrestling.com that Kenny King would like the input of the ROH fans in helping him decide which partner to choose for his long term goals. The final partner for Kenny King is Japanese star Tajiri, who will be looking to defeat Prince Nana's New Embassy

Singles Match

Kyle O'Reilly vs Jay Briscoe

The tag team brawl between these two teams has raged on for months now. Executive Producer Jim Cornette has sanctioned a singles match between O'Reilly & Briscoe, but can he really expect this match to remain in the confines of the ring.

Singles Match

Kevin Steen vs Brian Kendrick

Brian Kendrick & The Programme have not seen eye to eye ever since Steve Corino offered Kendrick the chance to become a better person and join his programme. Kevin Steen seems to be losing the faith in Corino's programme and without the programme at ringside, will Steen retain control of his emotions

Tag Team Match

John Hennigan & Homicide vs Shelton Benjamin & Low-Ki

Four of the competitors in the six-way scramble match at Honor Takes Center Stage square off in tag team action to finish the night off. Hennigan & ROH champion Homicide have proven they can work together when necessary, but with the belt on the line at the weekend, will Hennigan stay loyal to his tag partner.

Quick Picks

Colt Cabana vs Arik Cannon

Cheerleader Melissa vs Jessie McKay vs Sara Del Rey vs Daizee Haze

Kenny King & Yoshihiro Tajiri vs TJ Perkins & Tim Donst

Kyle O'Reilly vs Jay Briscoe

Brian Kendrick vs Kevin Steen

John Hennigan & Homicide vs Shelton Benjamin & Low-Ki

We cut to backstage where Jimmy Jacobs and Steve Corino are in the locker room. Jacobs is pacing restlessly up and down.

Jimmy Jacobs:

I'm worried Steve. He's out of control, what if he lapses again?

Steve Corino:

He understands the importance of the programme and knows that in the long run, this is the person he wants to be. He's just stressed, I'm sure he will be fine.

Jimmy Jacobs:

But what if he loses to Brian Kendrick tonight, it could be the end of him. He could do something he might regret.

Steve Corino:

Would that be such a bad thing? From where I see it, Kendrick deserves all that's coming to him.

Jimmy Jacobs:

Now you're letting your personal feelings about Kendrick get in the way of the main problem here...if he lapses, I don't know how far he will go Steve. We need to be there.

Steve Corino

Okay, we'll keep an eye on him, but I am telling you in the end, he knows who he wants to be.

Way to go, Shelton! A deserved champion in my book, sorry I didn't predictions in on time.

Glad to see Aldis getting a victory, gotta love The Big O!

Don't worry about it...I was actually thinking of stopping this diary, as I was convinced only two people were reading it (thanks BHK1978 & Nobby_McDonald), but I am proven wrong.

Lot's of excellent storylines coming up. :-)
