There are 3 that stand out as my favorites...

Old Guard - Enforcer Roberts & Runaway Train

In all my SWF games I pair them up and use them in Eisen's stable.

Out Of Habitat - Lobster Warrior & Jungle Lord

After being ridiculed for it, Lobster began questioning his identity. JL brought him out of his depression by offering to tag with him and it was a new lease on life for Lobster. Other star-gazed, animal-themed characters sprung up and a stable formed. They almost won the straps, but this wrestlecrap storyline ended with an even crappier one... Jungle Lord turned heel cos his hunting instincts overwhelmed him and he began attacking his stablemates... couldnt help myself.

Afrika - Lassana Makutsi & Landon Mallory

The unstoppable (and talented) heel duo that simply power through opponents on their way up the card to the tag straps.

Out of habitat sounds amazing, and the two workers are some of my favorite since 2005 I always pushed Lobster.

Great thread idea!

I've always been one who wants to flesh out a strong tag team division. That said, I often find myself pairing people right away in my games, even if they are just temporary or slightly-active teams, in which to add further depth.

Here are my favorites:

Totally Supreme (DOA) = Dick Eyezen and Tom E. Kornell (Handsome Stranger & Steven Parker)

The Moral Majority (DOA) = Mainstream Hernandez and Citizen X

The next is a spoiler alert for those who are following my current "WAR on the Vegas Strip..." dynasty. That said, if you want to know, and don't mind reading a spoiler, then this last one is a group that will form soon & have quickly already become a favorite of mine (as the imagery of their punk-rock-like combination seems organic & exciting):

Sons of Anarchy (WAR) = Ares (un-masked Acid) and Remmy Skye

Took head booking position of SWF in 2015 and have Remo and Marc DuBois with Great chemistry teaming together as Team Perfection. They would have been so dominant had I had this team 5 years ago when they were weren't even in their primes yet.

Not my pairing but Brooke Taylor and Fuyuko Higa have a Tag Team with the random name "The Ring Kings"

Peter Valentine and Giant Redwood as The Ego Trip. Did decently well for me as a stable, especially when I had Redwood go on a squash-fest. Between his pop and Valentine's mic skills, they did all right for themselves after Valentine dropped the National title to Champion. Would have made them tag champs for a short run if they didn't both announced their retirements. :p

I've also got the Islanders, a teaming of Ekuma and Apollo under the management of Captain USA. Might also team Darryl Devine and the recently signed DWN into a team, might not. Still thinking...

Finally, there's the newly made Destruction Crew, consisting of Jumbo Jackson and Jack Griffith. Might make decent replacements for Towers of Power if I make it that long...

<p>Austin Aries and Shawn Spears: both of them are the wormy heelish cheat-to-win of my promotion that are fun for the crowd to watch.</p><p> </p><p>

Santino and Eric Young(Canadian Bacon): They are an entertaining crowd pleasing comedy team, but are also well skilled in the ring. </p><p> </p><p>

MVP and Daniel Bryan: I put them together after a note said they had great chemistry as a team, so as a chance to give my main eventers/uppermids opportunities to get into the tag picture as most of them are singles competitors only wanting world championships and for the fans to care about it the tag circuit.</p><p> </p><p>

Samoa Joe and Steve Corino(Pacific Poison): Samoa Joe turned to the good side, but these guys were a bad ass heel team. Now Samoa occasionally teams with Elijah burke and the note said they work well together so they may have to become a serious-midcard face team.</p>

My pairing of 19 year olds KC Glenn and Frankie-Boy Fernandes has gotten over pretty quickly and have the ability to make anyone look good. They're such an awesome team I can't wait to see the matches they have against each other when they split <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

My heel stable "The Hellfire Club" founded by The Architect has produced two tag teams that I really like:

Blackfire & Diablo (Deuce Deadline) - The Hellions

Havoc (Max Mayhem) & Carnage (El Mitico Jr) - Desolation

Note: Everyone in the stable except The Architect is under a mask.

Wall of Muscle in my SWF game.

Originally intended to Runaway Train and Everest, simply to give the two monsters something to do, but Everest's contract came up before I could make it official.

As Swoop McCarthy was part of the same group anyway, he got rescued from a stint in undercard 'development' and while the two don't have chemistry as a team, his entertainment skills and Train's menace made for high ratings, which lead to a push, and now they've been tag champs for something like five months in game.

I also like my pairing of Chris 'Lobster Warrior' Morrisette and Jake 'Jungle Lord' Marlowe as a pair of no-frills all-rounders.

In my 21CW Game I made a very competitive tag division. Some major success stories were, Jonathan Faust & War Machine with a mentor/student relationship that was only a short term thing to get War Machine over some bigger name guys.

Former tag champions Phillip Cooper & Rolling Johnny Stones

Red Storm - Red Dragon & Ricky Storm, again a mentor/student deal that lasted around 2 1/2 years until Red Dragon "lost his confidence and went AWOL, leaving Ricky Storm and makeshift parter Wade Orson to lose the tag titles. One of the catalysts of my Generations storyline where graduates National School of Wrestling formed one super group (think Nexus) to take 21CW away from the old guard. The rivals of this group are 21CW Originals The Centurians, two members of them are:

Red Mile - Adam Matravers and Red Dragon

Joey Beauchamp & Wade Orson were another makeshift team who seemed to last a long time.

& finally Class of 2010, arguably the first members of Generations before it even existed. Leigh Burton & Dwayne Dark. Former tag champs who came out of the first class together and dominated 21CW's tag division until Dwayne turned on Leigh as the Generations storyline started to make Leigh one of the leaders of the Centurians (alongside Joss Thompson) who hasn't been seen since losing the world title to War Machine then being brutally beaten down by the debuting Generations 5 months ago.

Kind of went off tangent a few times there but a lot of stuff I've done so far in 3 game years ties into that main storyline (like lots in this will go into the next one which I've already decided on).

This seems like a good place to ask this question.

Any suggestions for a tag partner for Running Wolf?

My game is still pretty young (beginning of 2011) and I’m hoping to get him into a midcard tag team title run in about a year. Small promo, so obviously almost all workers that start off with writtens or exclusives are out. He’s progressing fairly well (come on psych GO UP FASTER!), but still needs a lot of shine and I can’t seem to find anyone who fits well with him. I do realize chemistry is different in every game, but my partners for him so far have completely flopped. You know it's bad when you make an Alter Ego for Roger Monteiro named "Flying Crow" to tag with him as the "Two Braves"...god help me

Is Kashmir Singh available? You'd have an Indian (Hindu) and an Indian (Native American).

Have you tried Jebediah? You could call them The Men Of The Land or The Pastorals.

Ace Youngblood comes from Native American blood and is known to wear a war cloak. That could fit with Running Wolf's headdress.

Ford Gumble would give you the classic cowboy/Indian pairing and could give Running Wolf a rub via his TCW name value.

I actually have used Roger myself, and then Ace Youngblood.

Or, use one of the Animal Masks (Fox Mask, Masked Cougar, etc.) and have Running Wolf call upon his Spirit Animal to help him. Also, you could just take any wrestler that would fit stat wise and put them under an animal mask, if that'd be cheaper.
