Pogo92 Posted November 22, 2011 Share Posted November 22, 2011 I'm currently working on a personal, supplemental mod to the main database which is comprised of the the most famous, infamous, or badass figures of history, with absurd powers and personalities extrapolated from their real lives (And... sometimes not so much). The background is simple: A time-traveling, reality-altering alien being with a love for the cultures and histories of the nations of the universe, named Patron, revived the greatest people on Earth (For whatever reasons. I'll elucidate more later, I suppose). Here's where I stand: 1. I need ideas for characters. I have about 10, which include Doppleganger Teddy Roosevelt and the evil Mouse-ter Mind (Otherwise known as Walt Disney), among other, less silly folk (Caligula, Genghis Khan, Rasputin, ect.) The more, the merrier, however, so people (And pictures!) would be loved. One note, though; I want to avoid anyone too recent. No need to have arguments over whether Obama should be a hero or villain, or other such nonsense which tends to occur with recent public figures. So anyone active over the last few decades is not allowed. 2. I'll need ideas for powers and attributes, as well as themes for the characters. Nothing too out there, but creativity is appreciated. They are going to be superheroes/villains after all. 3. Miscellaneous stuff. Locations, for instance: I don't know if they should all inhabit one area, should be spread across the current game world, or if cities need to be created to house them (And whether to make them real locations or not). I'd hate to necessarily paint either as a hero or villain because both, through their actions and personalities, were honorable and fine people. Could even throw in Custer as a villain with Sitting Bull as his Nemesis, Geronimo as a wild card or just a villain if you need the numbers. Lots of possibilities.</p><p> </p><p> Really the locations could be really cool with this theme. Ideally, I'm looking for unique or hand-drawn pictures of these historical figures, so if anyone has any weird, absurd, or down right steam-punk-ghetto-blasting-scythe-wielding-Dr. Martens-wearing-revisionist pictures of their favorite infamous villain or ideal hero from history, post it up and I'll churn out something creative for it. It depends on how the meat-an'-potato comes out, and whether it is of high enough quantity to warrant a public release.
