Recommended Posts

No Event Centre this month (or next month for the obvious reason that I don't even know the card yet! :p) but instead you get match banners. And lots of them.

Cameron Cody, Chloe Bourel & ??? vs DISCO Fox, Joey Sleaze & RIKU

I will skip the bonus questions as I haven´t downloaded this mod but I go with better known trio as I´m not sure if Bourel is at the same level than everyone else in here.

Gureisu Dream Pair Championship Match

Her Majesty's Royal Service vs The Primary Infestation (Red Beetle & Blue Beetle)

They aren´t dropping their titles just yet.

Adam Manchester vs Scott Seal

Could go either way so I just pick who I like more.

The Commander vs Devon Homicide

Commander has been slighly stronger so far in my eyes.

Trash Heap Trillionaires vs Mercenaries Inc.

Mercenaries over jobber team.

Doctor Euan Reeka vs Kristopher Bryant

Bryant haven´t found too much success so far so I go with another loss for him.

Weird Science (Newton Cambridge & FinEATo) vs Black Science (??? & ???)

Debut win.

The Infestation (Black Beetle, El Hijo Del Brown Beetle & Green Beetle) vs Pieces of The Puzzle (Missing Piece, Puzzle & Riddle)

Infestation is higher on my books.

Tony Pearce vs Desierto Alma

No idea about Alma but he´s new guy who didn´t even get mystery man threatment and that screams jobber to me.

Her two associates scaled the turnbuckles into the ring, the trio stopping just a few centimetres away from Doctor Euan Reeka.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Female:</strong> “Remember me sweety? Do you? For those of you who do NOT know who I am, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Kata Strophe. Your little doctor here knows me VERY well. In fact, these two fantastic hybrids beside me are a product of your good doctor's work. </p><p> </p><p> These two men are Hombre Arana and Scorpion. Me and Euan worked on creating them. We took two..willing..subjects and inserted the DNA of the two deadliest animals we had into them. Arana got the DNA of a Black Widow spider and Scorpion here was injected with the DNA of the death-stalker species of scorpions. We were ready to take on the world. But Euan here just HAD to feel bad about what we were doing. He took the third subject and fled.</p><p> </p><p> Well I'm here Euan and I want MY shark back. Those mercenaries were kind enough to track you down. It only cost me one of my many robotic handymen. You'll rue the day you crossed me Euan!”</p><p> </p><p> With that threat, Kata Strophe ordered Hombre Arana and Scorpion to attack Doctor Reeka. Luckily for the “Good Doctor of Gureisu Pro” his colleagues from Weird Science rushed out to ringside to save their friend. Arana and Scorpion didn't back down and Referee Joe Preston slid into the ring, ready to start the impromptu match.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="35343" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p><span>http://i1342.photobucket.com/albums/o765/Wrestlesaurus_X/Gureisu%20Pro/NewtonCambridgeWS-1.jpg</span><span>http://i1342.photobucket.com/albums/o765/Wrestlesaurus_X/Gureisu%20Pro/FinEATo-1.jpg</span> vs <span>http://i1342.photobucket.com/albums/o765/Wrestlesaurus_X/Gureisu%20Pro/ScorpionBS.jpg</span><span>http://i1342.photobucket.com/albums/o765/Wrestlesaurus_X/Gureisu%20Pro/HombreAranaBS.jpg</span></p><div style="text-align:center"></div><p> </p><p> <strong>Weird Science</strong> vs <strong>Black Science</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><ul><li>The action started as soon as Referee Joe Preston had rung the bell, with Newton Cambridge showing no regard for his own wellbeing as he launched himself at Black Science, eager to gain a small manner of revenge for Doctor Reeka.<br></li><li>FinEATo looked a bit more reserved as he came face to face with his fellow animal/wrestler hybrids. Scorpion took advantage of that and as Cambridge and Hombre Arana fought outside, Scorpion bullied and taunted FinEATo, at one point calling him “an incomplete failure”. <br></li><li>FinEATo snapped at this comment and speared Scorpion down to the canvas, looking for an early submission victory via the Shark Smile. Scorpion managed to break the hold and dive outside for safety.<br></li><li>Hombre Arana ended FinEATo's momentum with a quick kick to the back of the head, dropping the sharkman like a stone. Newton Cambridge dragged FinEATo out of the ring and entered the ring himself.<br></li><li>Arana slipped up as he attempted to whip Newton into the corner to set up the Spider's Web (Tajiri's Tarantula hold). Newton reversed the whip, sending Arana across the ring. Newton bounced off the ropes twice, building up enough force to send Arana down to the mat for the three count via Newton's Third Law of Pain. Kata Strophe screamed at her clients from ringside as Joe Preston raised the hands of Newton Cambridge and FinEATo.<br></li></ul><p></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Weird Science won via Newton's Third Law of Pain</strong></p><p><strong> Rating: 32</strong></p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="35343" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p><span>http://i1342.photobucket.com/albums/o765/Wrestlesaurus_X/Gureisu%20Pro/EarlRayTravis.jpg</span><span>http://i1342.photobucket.com/albums/o765/Wrestlesaurus_X/Gureisu%20Pro/JimmyJack.jpg</span> vs <span>http://i1342.photobucket.com/albums/o765/Wrestlesaurus_X/Gureisu%20Pro/Blaize-1.jpg</span><span>http://i1342.photobucket.com/albums/o765/Wrestlesaurus_X/Gureisu%20Pro/Devastation-1.jpg</span></p><div style="text-align:center"></div><p> </p><p> <strong>Trash Heap Trillionaires</strong> vs <strong>Mercs Inc.</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><ul><li>Mercs Inc looked a team of two halves here, Blaize being as super intense as always whilst Devastation looked more cocky than usual.<br></li><li>Devastation's cockiness almost cost Mercs Inc. the win as soon as the match started as Earl Ray took advantage of Devastation's back being turned and rolled him up. Blaize was on hand to break up the win and threw his own partner out of the ring so that he could take control.<br></li><li>Blaize battered both Jimmy Jack and Earl Ray, hitting them with a barrage of punishing punches, kicks, elbows and knees.<br></li><li>Devastation, unhappy at Blaize throwing him out of the ring, returned the favour. Looking to score the easy pinfall on the downed Jiimy Jack, Devastation failed to notice Earl Ray on the top rope. As Jimmy Jack got a shoulder up, Devastation got up to complain to Referee Miles Grissom. As he turned around, Earl Ray flattened him with a flying crossbody for the surprise three count.<br></li></ul><p></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Trash Heap Trillionaries won via Flying Crossbody to Earl Ray.</strong></p><p><strong> Rating: 30</strong></p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> The Commander made his way out to the ring. Looking at his charges with disappointment, he could be heard telling them that they better get a win soon otherwise they would need to find new employment. Devastation looked like he was barely listening until The Commander mentioned that the “TitanBot” would be ready for action next month. Devastation shot him a look of anger. Notes

1) Providing my calculations are correct, congratulations are in order for jhd1, Tiberious4, Zergon and foolinc for being the top four predictors meaning that they are in charge of next month's card. If for some reason, any of these four choose not to take up this mighty challenge then I'll go down the list by percentages.

1.5) To the lucky four, if I could have the matches by Saturday that would be great. :)

1.75) The matches are first come, first served so get them in quickly to avoid disappointment!

2) I hate writing trios matches. Don't expect to see them a lot.

3) I love Black Science and Weird Science and I hope that it is reflected in the show. :p

In the interest of me booking the show today and with two matches still to be decided, I'm going against my word (sorry all) and opening the Create-A-Match up to anyone.

The following workers cannot be picked;

Cameron Cody, RIKU, Hombre Arana, FinEATo, Green Beetle, Riddle, Red Beetle, TAFKA Freshman Patel, Sir Thomas Beaumontfordshire, El Hijo Del Brown Beetle, Scorpion, Newton Cambridge or Earl Ray Travis.

Anyone else is fair play. All you need to do is PM me your match and result of said match (limit of one) and I'll pick the best four matches.

This limited time offer will end at 17:00 GMT. So y'all better be quick! :p

No prediction contest for this event, meaning the next one will run August to December.

RIKU got up and walked menacingly over to Referee Joe Preston with evil intent in his eyes.<br></li><li>This move allowed Cody to get up to his feet. But by the time he had gotten there, RIKU has up from the mat and making his way up the cage.<br></li><li>With both men teetering of the end of the cage, the crowd feel into a stunned silence. This wasn't for long as Cody lashed out at RIKU with a big right hand, sending him all the way down to the mat. 13 days after I said I'd post the show. That's a record for me. Don't expect it to happen again folks, there were a couple of days where I didn't feel like writing, I went to a Zero One Scotland show, a Bouncing Souls gig and other stuff.

Anywho!

Post Show Notes

- The match order goes in order of who picked based on what PM I read first. :p So it goes Midnightnick, foolinc, Zergon and finally jhd. Midnightnick used the anyone can book a match time to book the first match.

- Cameron Cody is a god sent to me by jhd to forever give me good match ratings.

- Cameron Cody & RIKU had great chemistry when fighting each other.

- Me seeing the rating for the match the first time led me to go wild in the chatroom with delight.

- The White Mask's Honor Armbar is what I imagine the Thunderverse equivalent of a Fujiwara Armbar to be.

- I lowered the rating for Modern to low, eradicating the need for average risk matches (Which I totally hadn't been running anyways.)

I'll be doing a few catch up pieces before I start the second half of season one. It'll be minor stuff like cliff notes of storylines and such as well as a overview of the rest of the gameworld.

Cameron Cody and DISCO Fox faced off in the finals of the Gureisu championsip tournament on night two of the Big Bad Ass Championship Tournament in January with Cameron Cody coming out victorious. The following month DISCO Fox put a bounty on Cameron Cody's head, offering $1000 to whoever took him out provided it was by the end of the night.

Mercenaries Inc. were more than happy to claim the bounty and left Cameron Cody (and Leroy Winters) lying in the ring at the end of the night.

DF: "You know something? I'm outraged. Cameron Cody, the punk who thinks he is king, got the main event spot AGAIN last month whilst I was relegated to fighting some scientist who doesn't have the hart to be a proper wrestler. Luckily for me, this situation has been sorted and I am back where I belong. Cody, I hope you're feeling okay. It's not the same beating up a cripple as it is a healthy person. At Early Warning For A Late Apocalypse, that's what it'll be. A beat down pure and simple. I got my boy Joey Sleaze, a fine man if I say so myself and my own personal valet Miss Chloe Bourel, a woman who has no choice to do what I say and accept ANYTHING I do. You've got a beaten down has been. It's almost going to be too easy." Fox's phone begins to ring and he answers the call, his eyes going wide and he hurries off screen before anything could be heard from the cameraman.

http://i1342.photobucket.com/albums/o765/Wrestlesaurus_X/Gureisu%20Pro/RIKU.jpghttp://i1342.photobucket.com/albums/o765/Wrestlesaurus_X/Gureisu%20Pro/ChloeBourel.jpg

Still unhappy with the perceived favouritism towards Cameron Cody, DISCO Fox called in a favour from an unknown person, unveiling the next step in his masterplan at March's Early Warning For A Late Apocalypse in the form of the modern samurai known only as RIKU. RIKU made his presence known as he ambushed Cameron Cody, knocking him out after he jumped in front of a knee smash meant for DISCO Fox's now-former valet Chloe Bourel.

Things only got more personal at The Sweet Taste of Roundhousing as Cameron Cody, Chloe Bourel and a mystery opponent later revealed to be Johnny Cross took on the devious street fox's team of Joey Sleaze, RIKU and himself. Johnny Cross took RIKU's knee smash, knocking him out whilst DISCO Fox forced Cameron to watch as his friends were picked apart.

Cameron managed to get a small manner of revenge at The Magical Mystery Tour as he went one-on-one with RIKU in a steel cage, flying off of the top of the cage and making a statement towards DISCO Fox via an Anti-Gravity Matrix. With Cameron promising to not rest until DISCO Fox has been ran out of Gureisu Pro, the bad blood between the two is more heated than ever.

PREVIOUSLY ON GUREISU...

http://i1342.photobucket.com/albums/o765/Wrestlesaurus_X/Gureisu%20Pro/GreenBeetle-1.jpghttp://i1342.photobucket.com/albums/o765/Wrestlesaurus_X/Gureisu%20Pro/BrownBeetle-1.jpghttp://i1342.photobucket.com/albums/o765/Wrestlesaurus_X/Gureisu%20Pro/OliverCrowlingtonIII-1.jpghttp://i1342.photobucket.com/albums/o765/Wrestlesaurus_X/Gureisu%20Pro/SirThomas2.jpg

Meeting in the four way elimination tag match at the second night of the Big Bad Ass Championship Tournament, The Infestation and Her Majesty's Royal Service instantly took a dislike to each other as Green Beetle's destruction of Sir Thomas Beaumontfordshire angered the gentlemen from England.

http://i1342.photobucket.com/albums/o765/Wrestlesaurus_X/Gureisu%20Pro/Artemis2.jpghttp://i1342.photobucket.com/albums/o765/Wrestlesaurus_X/Gureisu%20Pro/BlueBeetle-1.jpg

The next month, The Infestation were pre-occupied by Mercenaries Inc. with the exception of Blue Beetle who took on Artemis the loyal sevant of Her Majesty's Royal Service, Puzzle and The White Mask. Artemis tried to offer Blue Beetle a better life outside of wearing a mask, an offer that was swiftly rejected.

Members of each group met again in March with Sir Thomas Beaumontfordshire and Oliver Crowlington III facing off against Green Beetle and El Hijo Del Brown Beetle. This time the Gureisu Dream Pair championships were on the line. Both teams fought valiantly until Green Beetle, noticing that Sir Thomas' attentions were not on his prized hat, swooped to pick it up. Sir Thomas begged Green Beetle not to harm the hat only for Green Beetle to do a lap of honour around the school hall before hitting a slam dunk that Sugar Dunkerton would be proud of. Sir Thomas responded to this with a rage fuelled beatdown on El Hijo Del Brown Beetle, an act that shocked everyone including his own partner. Green Beetle and Black Beetle – hidden under the ring since earlier on in the evening – had to carry their fallen comrade to the back.

GB: "You know 'Sir' Thomas, you need to lighten up a little. Sure I destroyed two of your hats, blame ol' Sky Blue standing next to me. But hey! Wrestling is meant to be fun not super serious lack of emotion robotic fighting. The scary thing is Tommy, you've done something I didn't think possible. You've angered me. I slam dunk your hat and you beat my partner within an inch of his life? I'm not taking that. You see beetles stick together, we've all been friends since the day we headed off Beetle University. So when I say we WILL get you back for this, you better believe we mean it. See you ringside Tommy, don't forget to bring your hat."

The following month saw Green Beetle and Sir Thomas face off in one-on-one action, with Green Beetle coming out on top, using Sir Thomas' own longcoat to distract him. With Sir Thomas blinded by his coat Green Beetle marked his territory, spraying the logo of The Infestation on the back of the coat. Sir Thomas never noticed this until after the match, his face turning a peculiar shade of red.

A new face to Her Majesty's Royal Service entered the fray in June with Oliver Crowlington's own servant, only known as Patel, helping Sir Thomas and Oliver to a win over Blue Beetle and Red Beetle. Patel's entry into Her Majesty's Royal Service was not formally announced until the next month with Artemis showing utter contempt at the new butler in the group, Patel's appointment coming after Oliver Crowlington heard some rumours about Artemis involving Hollywood and baby oil.

An Event Centre you say! The usual opening montage plays and as it fades out, the host of the Event Centre is there to greet the viewer as always.

MM: "Hello and welcome to your Gureisu Pro Event Center, the one stop shop for everything you need to know about Gureisu Pro and what a show we had last month in Denver, Cameron Cody doing the impossible and pinning RIKU to the mat for a three count. You can beat that Cameron won't be resting on his laurels though as we have a blockbuster main event for our first time trip to Michigan as Cameron Cody will defend his Gureisu Pro championship against a man who has recently signed on to do a tour with the prestigious UPJ, Scott Seal. Standing by with comments is Scott Seal."

SS: "Finally someone in the back sees sense. Finally I get MY shot at the Gureisu Champion. I get my shot at Cameron Cody. I don't intend to waste this shot. I head off to Japan in September to go and wrestle for the most prestigious company in the world of wrestling. I'm going to go to Japan with two things. Your title Cameron and your pride. When I force you to let go of that championship in Michigan, you'll see why UPJ were practically knocking on my door to get me to sign on for a tour. I'm the man to take this company worldwide. I will not fail."

We return to Marcus Mitchell, who has the unpleasantness of Joey Sleaze by his side. Marcus looks visibly disgusted by the sheer lewdness of Sleaze, who has shown up with his usual wrestling attire instead of casual clothes.

MM: "Strong words there from Scott Seal as he prepares for his main event clash with Cameron Cody. Also in store for you in Michigan we have the enigmatic newcomer named Riddle against Gureisu's own wrestling savant Tony Pearce, The Commander of Mercenaries Inc. has promised that he will unveil The Titan that he received as payment from Black Science just two months ago and Her Majesty's Royal Service defend their Gureisu Dream Pair championships against one of the four teams represented in last month's tag team scramble."

JS: "Aren't you forgetting someone Marcus? It's okay, I'll do my own introductions. You see I'm used to being forgotten about here. Leroy Winters doesn't acknowledge me, he doesn't even rise to anything I say. You know what though? All that does is prove me right. Leroy Winters is scared of me."

MM: "Joey, any words about your opponent in Michigan, Adam Manchester?"

JS: "None. Nada. Absolutely not. Right now, the sexiest man in professional wrestling has some fiiiiiiine ladies to see too."

Sleaze walks off with Marcus looking bemused at the whole turn of events.

MM: "Whilst Joey may not have any words, his opponent does. Standing by with comments is the American Mat Machine, Adam Manchester".

AM: "Joey Sleaze, you have wronged Gureisu Pro. I've been a bit preoccupied lately to notice but you and DISCO Fox and the rest of your crew are everything that is wrong in wrestling. You swan around acting like this business owes you a living. It doesn't. To make it in professional wrestling you have to do three things. Work hard, listen to elders and study your craft. I'm in the gym every day working on ways to improve. When people like Leroy Winters give me advice, I sure as hell take it. You disgust me. In Michigan I'm going to make you listen. When I lock you in New England's Finest submission hold, you'll regret acting the way you do.

And Scott Seal, don't think I've forgotten about you. Go to Japan. I'll still be here waiting."

Due to be being super motivated, show WILL be posted within a day. I've decided that this is the only one for me. As such EWCW is no longer running. As said before in this very thread, the CVerse just doesn't inspire me anymore.

So remember, 24 hours or less until we learn that Michigan is Not In Scotland! (Cookie if you can guess the reason for the show name).
