<p><strong>Scott Steiner</strong> vs. Scott Hall vs. Diamond Dallas Page</p><p>

If Vince Russo's booking this one, I'd smell a swerve. But as it stands, Big Poppa Pump needs some momentum going up against Goldberg. Holla if ya hear me.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Davey Boy Smith</strong> vs. Rick Steiner - <em>US Title Number One Contender Qualifier</em></p><p>

Either of these men in a ladder match scares me. </p><p> </p><p>

Konnan vs. <strong>Mike Sanders</strong> - <em>US Title Number One Contender Qualifier</em></p><p>

Mike Sanders strikes me as a more interesting character. I like that you dumped the "Above Average" moniker. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Chavo Guerrero Jr.</strong> vs. Shane Helms - <em>WCW Cruiserweight Championship</em></p><p>

Chavo just got the belt, though I think his feud against Rey is at an end. </p><p> </p><p>

Air Raid vs. <strong>KroniK</strong> - <em>Tag Team Championship Qualifier</em></p><p>

Squishy squashy.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>BG James and Dustin Rhodes</strong> vs. The Jung Dragons - <em>Tag Team Championship Qualifier</em></p><p>

I prefer the Jung Dragons, but I think BG and Dustin need something to do at Starrcade, since you've booked them pretty strong so far.</p>

<p>So I was writing the show and a certain segment made me realize that I really want to post a particular piece of music (from youtube) in relation to that segment....but I have no idea how to actually do that <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Anyone out there know how to do it?</p>

<p>You find on youtube where it says "Embed" under the share heading, and copy/paste the HTML link it gives you.</p><p> </p><p>

Keep in mind that it won't look like it's showing up in preview or when it's first posted, but when you post it and go back to the topic again (hit refresh) it will show.</p>

<p><strong>Scott Steiner</strong> vs. Scott Hall vs. Diamond Dallas Page</p><p>

Steiner's the champion, Goldberg could come out and unintentionally spear someone giving him the win+momentum. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Davey Boy Smith</strong> vs. Rick Steiner - US Title Number One Contender Qualifier</p><p>

I was disappointed Davey Boy got a win in my first prediction over Bagwell despite having numerous <em>should be</em> drug problems affecting his in ring work. I shan't fall for the same mistake twice!</p><p> </p><p>

Konnan vs. <strong>Mike Sanders</strong> - US Title Number One Contender Qualifier</p><p>

Sanders is young and looks like Jeff Jarrett, book this guy to the moon!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Chavo Guerrero Jr</strong>. vs. Shane Helms - WCW Cruiserweight Championship</p><p>

Chavo just won the belt. I hope for him that he isn't a transitional champion.</p><p> </p><p>

Air Raid vs. <strong>KroniK</strong> - Tag Team Championship Qualifier</p><p>

Anything but a squash has me throwing my remote through my T.V. Styles and Paris aren't ready to fly it to the top. No pun intended. Their gimmicks were awful.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>BG James and Dustin Rhodes</strong> vs. The Jung Dragons - Tag Team Championship Qualifier</p><p>

The second generation stars should take this.</p>

Standing next to the WCW World Heavyweight Champion, "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner, who proudly shows off the World Title belt that is draped over his shoulder, Bischoff begins by saying that last week he issued an...invitation, if you will, to Lex Luger to show up here on Nitro tonight if wanted any chance in hell of avoiding criminal charges for his actions at Mayhem. He then informs everyone that "time's up" and demands that Luger joins them in the ring immediately--that is, if Luger did indeed manage to work up the courage to be here tonight at all! A few moments of silence follows and then the crowd breaks out into a "LUGER!" The chant continues for several seconds until....</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/LexLuger5.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> The chants turn into an outright pop as "The Total Package" Lex Luger makes his way out from the backstage area. Eric Bischoff is smiling smugly in the ring as Luger slowly makes his way down the entrance ramp and up the steel steps. Then he hesitates for a moment before cautiously entering the ring through the ropes and finding himself face to face with the entire Elite. Bischoff says he half expected Luger to have run all the way to Mexico by now, but apparently he does still have some semblance of a backbone left in him. Emboldened by the obvious strength in numbers, Bischoff then continues by saying that the only reason Lex Luger is here tonight is because he has an offer to make him, one that he can't refuse unless he really is as dumb as he looks. He says that Luger has to pay for what he did at Mayhem, and after giving it some serious consideration Bischoff has come up with a way where he doesn't have to settle for just ending Lex Luger's WCW career, but where he can actually put an end to his miserable career altogether! What Bischoff is talking about is that, at Starrcade, it could be "The Washed Up, Expired Care Package" Lex Luger versus...."The Future" Sean O'Haire....in an unsanctioned, no rules, everything goes match! Bischoff says that, for Luger, this is a chance to get even and to finish his career in WCW at the biggest pay per view of the year. But for The Elite, and especially for Sean O'Haire, this is a chance to be the man who forced Lex Luger to retire from professional wrestler. A chance to end his career. And for Eric Bischoff and WCW...this is a chance to finally make a little bit of money off Lex Luger by putting his forced and highly brutal retirement out there on pay per view for the world to see! And just so we're clear, Bischoff continues, there is absolutely NO chance of Luger getting his WCW contract back in this match. None whatsoever. This will be Luger's final match ever because "The Future" Sean O'Haire is going to make sure that Lex Luger is never able to wrestle ever again. So, what's it going to be, Luger? A match at Starrcade? Or criminal charges for trespassing and assault? Bischoff is grinning from ear to ear as he lowers the mic and everyone in the building is anxiously awaiting Luger's response.</p><p> </p><p> As Luger contemplates his options, Tony Schiavone is heard saying that this is not right at all! Luger has to either pick between entering into a match in which there are no rules, a match where absolutely anything and everything goes, against a man whom he knows is intentionally trying to permanently injure him, or face criminal charges for his actions at Mayhem. Mike Tenay agrees, adding that, once again, Eric Bischoff is looking to profit off of other people's misfortune, and the fact that Bischoff actually WANTS Sean O'Haire to end Luger's career is downright sickening. Dusty Rhodes agrees as well, but adds that even though it does not justify Bischoff's actions, Luger did bring this on himself by doing what he did at Mayhem.</p><p> </p><p> In the ring, Lex Luger seems to have made up his mind as he grabs a mic of his own. Luger says that there is only one person in this world that he wants to get his hands on more than Sean O'Haire right now--and that's Eric Bischoff! Bischoff quickly takes a step backwards to hide behind Scott Steiner, but Luger just laughs it off. Luger then says that he owes Sean O'Haire one hell of a beating for screwing him over and costing him both his career in WCW and the WCW World Heavyweight Championship...and he would be more than happy to give him that beating at Starrcade!!!! The crowd explodes with cheers as Lex Luger versus Sean O'Haire is officially set for Starrcade, but their excitement is short lived as The Elite suddenly attacks Luger in the ring and the cheers turn into boo's almost immediately! Luger tries to fight back, but with four to one odds against him, he is not very successful and The Elite beats him down and all four guys are putting the boots to Luger while Eric Bischoff watches from the sidelines, smiling approvingly. But then.....</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BillGoldberg2.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> The man is here!!! Goldberg rushes down to the ring, slides inside and dives into the fray without hesitation as everyone in the building is going absolutely crazy! A thrust kick sends "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair flying through the ropes and out of the ring, and a hard right hand punch knocks Sean O'Haire down to the mat and he quickly rolls out of the ring....SPEAR!!! Goldberg just Speared the hell out of "The Chosen One" Jeff Jarrett and now Goldberg finds himself face to face with the man he will challenge for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship at Starrcade, "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner! The excitement in the arena climbs to an all new high as the World Champion and the Number One Contender is about to get it on....but then Steiner drops down to the mat and rolls out of the ring. The crowd boo's as Steiner retreats back up the ramp along with the rest of The Elite, while Goldberg points at Steiner and screams at him that "He's Next!" <strong>©</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/TonySchiavone3.jpg</span><span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/MikeTenay3.jpg</span><span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/DustyRhodes.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> We cut to the announce table where we find, as always, Tony Schiavone, Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes. Hall makes his way down to ringside where he just stands and watches the action in the ring for a while, but of course that doesn't last. Hall turns, grabs a mic and then he heads up the steel steps and into the ring...with the match is still going on. Rey Misterio Jr. hasn't noticed Hall when he turns around and....BAM! Scott Hall nails Rey Misterio Jr. with the mic and a loud thud is heard from the impact of the live mic against the head of Rey Misterio Jr. The referee calls for the bell, officially DQ'ing Crowbar and awarding the match to Misterio due to interference.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Scott Hall: Hey Yo....let me tell you something, Rey...the last person in this company that you want to go around threatening...is Scott Hall! Mike Tenay says that, while that is true, he also does not think that Rey Misterio Jr. is going to back down from this, so he is interested to see what exactly is going to happen with this situation. One thing is for sure though; Rey Misterio Jr. has put himself on Scott Hall's radar by standing up for himself. Tony Schiavone sets the stage by telling everyone that Sting made his return to WCW one week ago after having been gone for a month following his third and final match against Scott Steiner in the Three Stages of Hell series, and Mike Tenay adds that Sting seemed to pick up right where he left of last week by taking the fight to The Elite and he wonders what Sting will have to say tonight. Once inside the ring, Sting gets on the mic and says that he has seen a lot over the years in WCW, but he has come to the sad conclusion that some things never change. Even though the company came to the very brink of death, the people in charge still doesn't get it. Eric Bischoff doesn't get it. He just keeps playing his games, picking his favorites, building stables and screws everyone who isn't part of his little circle. Sting says he saw it with the nWo and it's the same thing that is happening now with The Elite. The corruption is still running rampant in WCW and the company needs to be cleansed of this corruption if it is to have any chance of recovering and being again what it once was.</p><p> </p><p> Sting says that he is back for one reason and one reason only and that is exactly that; to cleanse WCW of the corruption that has slowly been killing the company for years now. Greed, arrogance, selfishness...if WCW is to survive and thrive again, all of these things much be purged from the company. And right now there is one man who embodies these negative traits more than anyone else. One man who is the prime example of everything that is wrong with WCW today. One man who Sting says has truly been sickening to watch over the past four weeks. And that man is...."The Nature Boy" Ric Flair! Sting says that, while he and Flair have had their differences over the years, he has always respected Ric Flair because he was a competitor. Because he loved the business, he loved WCW and he was true to himself. True to what he believed in, and even though Sting didn't agree with him, he respected for that. But look at Ric Flair now. Allying himself with Eric Bischoff? A man who has done nothing but try to destroy Ric Flair. A man who made sure that Ric Flair could never again challenge for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. And yet, there was Ric Flair, standing side by side with Eric Bischoff as part of The Elite. Sting says that Ric Flair has forgotten everything that he once was. That Flair has been corrupted by Eric Bischoff and The Elite and now Ric Flair is the epitome of everything wrong with WCW today. And if Sting is going to clean up WCW once and for all, he has to be willing to do whatever it takes, even if it means going after someone he once respected more than anyone else in the business.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/RicFlair2.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair's music suddenly starts playing and Flair makes his way out from the back with a mic in his hand. Rather than joining Sting in the ring, however, Flair remains on the entrance ramp and his music eventually dies down. Flair says that Sting doesn't know what he is talking about. The Elite is doing what they are doing exactly because they want to ensure WCW's future success and well-being. What they are doing is in the best interest of the company and that is why Flair decided to join Eric Bischoff and The Elite. Flair says that he was willing to put his personal issues with Eric Bischoff aside because Eric Bischoff is the future of WCW and Flair says that he plans to be a part of that future, and if Sting was smart, if he truly cared about WCW, he would consider joining them. Sting immediately fires back that he would never join Eric Bischoff and The Elite....and the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair that he knew wouldn't have done so either. Sting says that the man he is talking to right now is a fraud...and he is going to prove that and expose him for the fraud that he is....at the biggest event of the year! He wants to face Ric Flair at Starrcade!!! The crowd explodes with cheers over Sting's challenge, and once the cheers die down a bit Flair asks Sting if he really wants to face "The Nature Boy" at Starrcade? Well, be careful what you wish for, Stinger, because you've got it! Nobody calls "The Nature Boy" a fraud! He is the stylin', profilin', limousine riding, jet flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin' n' dealin' son of a gun! And if Sting wants another in-ring lesson from "The Nature Boy" then Flair will be more than happy to embarrass Sting on the biggest stage in all of professional wrestling! The challenge is accepted! WOOOOO!!!!! <strong>©</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/TonySchiavone3.jpg</span><span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/MikeTenay3.jpg</span><span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/DustyRhodes.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> With the entire building still buzzing from the huge match that has just been set between Sting and Ric Flair at Starrcade, we cut to the announce table where Tony, Mike and Dusty have some thoughts of their own on this huge announcement. Tony says that Sting and Ric Flair have had some of the most memorable matches in the history of WCW and he is excited that he will get to see them face off against each other again, he just wishes that it was under friendlier circumstances. Mike Tenay says that the relationship between Sting and Flair seems to be coming full circle as many people believe that it was his legendary matches against Ric Flair that put Sting on the map on WCW, and now it seems that Sting may end up being responsible for taking Ric Flair off the map in WCW, or at least it sounded as though that might be Sting's intentions. Dusty Rhodes adds that Sting seems somehow different. That there is an edge to him that wasn't there before and he wonders just how far Sting is willing to go to "save" WCW. We then cut back to the ring for some cruiserweight action.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="36487" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">WCW Cruiserweight Championship</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/WCWCW.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ChavoGuerreroJr.jpg</span>vs.<span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ShaneHelms.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Shane Helms was the other major victim of Scott Hall's actions at Mayhem as it was Helms who ended up getting caught off guard by Chavo Guerrero Jr. during the chaos that surrounded the match due to Scott Hall's interference. Tonight Shane Helms got a second chance to become the Cruiserweight Champion and it was obvious that he planned to make the most of it. In what was a very even, highly competitve cruiserweight match, Helms put in a strong showing and it generally looked as if it was his night...that is, until the champion, Chavo Guerrero Jr., countered a Shane Helms move into a surprise rollup and, putting his feet on the ropes for additional leverage, Chavo managed to get the three count on Helms, who kicked out literally a split second too late.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Chavo Guerrero Jr. defeated Shane Helms at 8.07 by pinfall with a surprise rollup while using the ropes for leverage. Tony Schiavone complains loudly about Chavo Guerrero Jr. once again cheating his way to victory, saying that a worthy champion does not have to resort to cheap tricks to get the job done. Mike Tenay agrees, but Dusty Rhodes says that wrestling is all about doing whatever it takes to win and Chavo Guerrero Jr. has proven that he is both willing and able to break the rules in order to accomplish his goals--and he does it without getting caught, which isn't easy.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Still to come:</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ScottSteiner.jpg</span>vs.<span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/DiamondDallasPage.jpg</span>vs.<span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ScottHall2.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> A brief video plays to hype up tonight's main event as the battle for WCW continues with The Elite's front man and WCW's World Heavyweight Champion, "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner faces Diamond Dallas Page and Scott Hall in three way action later tonight. <strong>(B-)</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="36487" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/Rick_Steiner11.jpg</span>vs.<span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/DaveyBoySmith.jpg</span><p> </p><p> </p><p> With a spot in the US Title number one contender Ladder match at Starrcade, Rick Steiner and "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith plenty to fight for in this one and it showed as both men came out swinging. The crowd popped for Rey as he, rather unsurprisingly, went right after Scott Hall. Hall, caught completely off guard, was struggling to keep up with Rey's high octane offense and the crowd, and the announcers, were loving every minute of it. Tony Schiavone was heard saying that turnabout is fair play and that Scott Hall brought this upon himself by repeatedly disrespecting and mocking Rey Misterio Jr. Rey and Hall eventually battled their way up the ramp, turning the main event from a three way match to a one on one match between Scott Steiner and Diamond Dallas Page. The two went back and forth for the next several minutes, neither man able to maintain control for any real length of time, and the crowd was firmly behind DDP. Need to keep this guy hot, DDP isn't booked for Starrcade yet so it doesn't make sense for him to go over.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Outsiders</strong> vs. Rey Misterio Jr. and Billy Kidman</p><p>

Nash uses creative control if he's booked to lose, I assume. So that's not happening.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Buff Bagwell</strong> vs. Ernest Miller - US Title number one contender qualifier</p><p>

Buff needs some momentum, especially after jobbing to British Bulldog at the last event.</p><p> </p><p>

WCW owner Eric Bischoff has just released a statement saying that all four WCW championships will be defended at Starrcade. Lance Storm, the current WCW United States Champion, is already scheduled to be part of the WCW Tag Team Championship match, and Eric Bischoff has confirmed that, if Storm is still the US Champion in two weeks, then he will have to compete twice in one night. The same also applies to the Cruiserweight Champion, Chavo Guerrero Jr., if Chavo manages to secure a spot in the US Title number one contender match this week on Monday Nitro. The challengers for the US and Cruiserweight Championship title matches at Starrcade will be revealed following this week's edition on Monday Nitro.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Tony informs everyone that Nitro is coming to you live from the sold out Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida and he says that, with Starrcade just two weeks away now, you can really feel the excitement in the air. Mike Tenay says that tonight we will find out who the final participants will be in both the US Title number one contender Ladder match and the Tag Team Title four way elimination match, the matches that will both be taking place at Starrcade. Dusty says that as excited as he is for Starrcade, there is still two editions of Monday Nitro to go and he can't wait to see what will happen tonight right here in Daytona Beach! We then cut to ringside where the first match is about to get under way.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="36487" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/JamieGibson.jpg</span>vs.<span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ChavoGuerreroJr.jpg</span><p> </p><p> </p><p> The first match of the night saw the Cruiserweight Champion, Chavo Guerrero Jr., taking on Jamie Knoble with a spot in the US Title number one contender ladder match at Starrcade on the line, a huge opportunity for the two cruiserweights. Luger replies that that is ridiculous, but Eric Bischoff reminds him that he is no longer a member of the WCW roster and that it would be irresponsible for Bischoff to allow just anyone to wander the halls of the building during their shows. Luger hesitates, pondering his options, but before he can make a decision one way or the other, a slew of security guards march up to him and Bischoff instructs them to escort Luger out of the building and to make sure he does not come back. Luger is then escorted out of the building, much to Bischoff's delight, as we cut back to ringside <strong>(D+)</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/Konnan2.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Back at ringside Konnan makes his way toward the ring as he is in action next against the mysterious El Mesías. But El Mesías isn't done just yet as he picks Konnan back up and starts laying into him with some vicious right hand shots. Konnan, caught completely of guard by the ambush, is completely defenseless and utterly at El Mesías' mercy....and it seems that El Mesías has no mercy as he just keeps pummeling Konnan. El Mesías pulls Konnan to his feet once more and sets him up for his dreaded Sit-out Crucifix Powerbomb finishing move....and he absolutely drills Konnan with it and Konnan lands hard on the unforgiving entrance ramp. As El Mesías stands tall above Konnan, staring eerily at him with his cold eyes, Tony Schiavone is heard saying that El Mesías just destroyed Konnan for the second time and Mike Tenay adds that last time El Mesías attacked Konnan we didn't see Konnan again for a month! Dusty Rhodes rounds things off by commenting that El Mesías is one scary looking individual. Booker immediately readies himself for a blindside attack from Scott Hall, but Nash says that he's not looking to fight Booker--at least not tonight, anyway. Booker obviously doesn't believe Nash, but Nash says that he and Booker T have a lot in common. As far as Nash is concerned, it should be Booker T versus Kevin Nash at Starrcade because they both deserve a chance to become number one contender. But Jeff Jarrett doesn't, and the only reason Jarrett is even in this match is because he is part of The Elite. Nash says that he and Booker T should make an alliance to make sure that The Elite doesn't screw them over at Starrcade. But Booker T isn't too high on that idea, saying that he saw how Nash turned on his tag team partner, Diamond Dallas Page, so why would he ever want to trust Nash with anything? Booker says that he isn't interested in being in an alliance with the kind of man who would stab his friend in the back without a second thought, and he would rather take his chances on his own than to rely on someone like Nash to have his back. Booker then walks off, leaving Nash looking somewhat...concerned, maybe? <strong>C+)</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="36487" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ChuckPalumbo.jpg</span><span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ShawnStasiak.jpg</span>vs.<span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/NormanSmiley.jpg</span><span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/JimDuggan2.jpg</span><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> With three teams having already qualified for the Tag Team Title match at Starrcade there was just one spot left open and it was on the line in this one as Perfect Event, Chuck Palumbo and Shawn Stasiak made their return to the main roster by taking on "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and Norman Smiley. DDP doesn't look particularly happy to see Bischoff, and that feeling only increases when Bischoff brings up the fact that Diamond Dallas Page is not booked for Starrcade yet. DDP says that he is well aware of that, but Bischoff says that he might see fit to change that IF Diamond Dallas Page does something for him in return, but before Bischoff can even make his offer, DDP says that he has no interest in making any kind of deals with the devil. Bischoff seems amused by the devil comparison, but he advices DDP that it might be time for him to start thinking about his future because right now he is going nowhere fast. DDP replies that Bischoff doesn't need to worry about him because when he beats Scott Steiner tonight, Bischoff will have no choice but to add DDP to the World Title number one contender's match at Starrcade. Bischoff shoots back that he is the owner of WCW--he always has a choice! But DDP won't be able to beat Steiner tonight so it's not going to matter, anyway. Goldberg says that all he cares about is beating Scott Steiner and winning the World Title, but Sting says that that isn't good enough. He says that he came back to WCW for one reason and one reason only; to purge the taint and the corruption from the company so that it can thrive and prosper once again, and he will do whatever it takes to make sure that it happens. Sting says that it is time for Goldberg to stop thinking about himself and start thinking about what's best for WCW, because if it turns out that Goldberg as the WCW World Heavyweight Champion is just as wrong for WCW as Scott Steiner as the World Heavyweight Champion, then Sting will not hesitate to do what must be done. An intense moment of silence follows as the two megastars stares each other down, and then Goldberg finally breaks the silence by saying just three tiny words; "Just try it!". The Outsiders make their way to the ring while Tony Schiavone quickly brings everyone up to speed on the recent issues between Scott Hall and Rey Misterio Jr. which has led to this match being booked for tonight's show. Mike Tenay talks about the fact that Nash and Hall have been talking about bringing new members into the nWo, but so far it is still just The Outsiders and Tenay wonders what the future might hold for the nWo. Once inside the ring, Scott Hall grabs a mic and goes to speak...but then he waits for it, milking the moment for a bit before finally doing his trademark "Hey Yo". Hall says that he told Rey Misterio Jr. to be careful who he messed with, but apparently Rey didn't listen to him. He says that when Rey Misterio Jr. interfered during the main event last week, he officially sealed his own fate. Hall says that for a guy who talks so much about respect, Rey Misterio Jr. doesn't show a hell of a lot. But Hall says that he is going to change that because he is gonna beat some respect into Rey Misterio Jr. at Starrcade! That is, if Rey is man enough to actually face him. The smile quickly faded from Nash's face, however, as the speed of Rey Misterio caused Nash no small amount of trouble and Rey was always one step ahead of "Big Sexy". The Outsiders eventually managed to slow the pace of the match down to a level that was more preferential to them, but Rey and Kidman never stopped fighthing back which made for an exciting and, perhaps to some, surprisingly competitive match. As he reaches ringside, Sting slowly circles the ring a couple of times, waiting for just the right moment to enter--a moment he gets when Goldberg somehow, someway gets back up to his feet and attacks The Elite from behind. Sting quickly enters the ring and he is now fighting side by side with Goldberg and, for a while, it looks like they are actually going to manage to drive The Elite back....but the numbers game eventually catches up with them and Scott Steiner ends up blasting both Goldberg and Sting with Sting's own baseball bat. WCW owner Eric Bischoff has officially added three more matches to the Starrcade card; Scott Hall versus Rey Misterio Jr. has officially been added to the card following Hall's challenge and Rey's acceptance of that challenge this past week on Monday Nitro. Challengers have also been announced for the United States and Cruiserweight Championship. Chavo Guerrero Jr. will defend his Cruiserweight Championship against Shane Helms who, after being on the wrong side of bad luck and circumstance twice within the past couple of weeks, first with Scott Hall's interference in the Cruiserweight Title match at Mayhem and then again with Chavo Guerrero Jr.'s underhanded tactics two weeks ago on Monday Nitro, will receive a third and final shot at the Cruiserweight Championship at the biggest event of the year. Lance Storm will defend the United States Championship against Hugh Morrus in what is a huge opportunity somewhat out of left field for Morrus, who will no doubt be looking to make the most of this rather surprising opportunity.
