WCW: The Quest For The Lost Glory

<p>"Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner and "The Chosen One" Jeff Jarrett vs. <strong>Goldberg and Booker T</strong></p><p>

Goldberg is Goldberg. Could see a swerve but it's not the best to kill your top two Babyfaces when they sell the most merchandise. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Kevin Nash</strong> vs. Diamond Dallas Page</p><p>

Kinda split on this, Nash should be extremely "limited" in the ring but he's still a draw and DDP should be on the decline stage of his career. I could see a draw to end this match just because a win doesn't really help anyone in the situation they're in. I however pick Nash going over because I assume he still has creative control.</p><p> </p><p>

Storm's a phenomenal worker and jobbing him to Dustin Rhodes would just be a mistake.</p><p> </p><p>

Everytime I see that Sanders picture I think it's Jeff Jarrett. Sanders is young and should go over.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Rey Misterio Jr.</strong> © vs. Chavo Guerrero Jr. vs. Billy Kidman vs. Shane Helms</p><p>

Rey's probably the best and most over cruiserweight in the U.S at this point, no point having him lose to anyone not in the same league.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Buff Bagwell</strong> vs. "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith</p><p>

I remember everyone saying Bagwell was the future of WCW in 1999. The guy's still in his early-mid 30's at this point and had that natural charisma that women love and guys hate. Something says The British Bulldog shouldn't go over since he's about to hit 40 and had been in the twilight of his career since 1995.</p>

With Misterio on the shelf, Chavo Guerrero would go on to defeat then champion Shane Helms at Bash At The Beach to become the new Cruiserweight Champion. Rey Misterio Jr. would return about a month later with his sights set firmly on Chavo Guerrero, eventually capturing the Cruiserweight Title on the second edition of Monday Nitro in September and he has held he title ever since, but Chavo Guerrero Jr. has been dogging him every step of the way, determined to regain the championship. But new challengers have emerged as well in the form of Billy Kidman and Shane Helms, both of whom are former Cruiserweight Champions in their own right. Will Rey Misterio Jr. be able to overcome the odds and retain his Cruiserweight Championship against no less than three very talented challengers? Will Chavo Guerrero Jr. finally succeed in recapturing the title that he has been chasing unsuccessfully for months now? Or will it be one of the "new" challengers, Shane Helms or Billy Kidman, who will walk out of this unpredictable match with the title and firmly establish themselves as one of the premiere Cruiserweights in WCW?</p><p> </p><p></p></div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><div></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="36487" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/DaveyBoySmith.jpg</span>vs.<span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BuffBagwell2.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith made his surprising return to WCW one month ago at Halloween Havoc when he was revealed as the man who had accepted the open challenge that Buff Bagwell had issued for the event. The Bulldog would go on to defeat Bagwell, punctuating his return with in-ring success. Buff Bagwell, however, was was adamant that the only reason he lost the match was because he had no time to prepare to face Davey Boy--in spite of the fact that the open challenge was Bagwell's own idea. Still, Bagwell refused to let it go and his resentment toward The British Bulldog motivated WCW owner Eric Bischoff to book a rematch between the two of them for Mayhem. But in spite of Bagwell's apparent desire to prove that what happened at Halloween Havoc was nothing but a fluke, he has been spending more time running away from The British Bulldog than he has fighting him, resorting to sneak attacks and even going so far as to cost The Bulldog his match against "The Nature Boy" Ric Flairon Monday Nitro by providing a distraction that allowed Flair to roll the Bulldog up for the win. But now the fight is on; will Buff Bagwell prove that what he has been saying all along is actually true and that, given time to properly prepare, he can beat The British Bulldog at Mayhem? Or will Davey Boy Smith make the most of finally getting his hands on "Buff Daddy" and repeat what he accomplished at Halloween Havoc--defeating Buff Bagwell?</p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="36487" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Tables Match</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/RoadDogg.jpg</span>vs.<span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/MikeSanders.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> This feud goes all the way back to the night after The Great American Bash when BG James made his debut by interrupting a Mike Sanders in-ring promo and the two have been at each other's throats ever since with neither man willing to be the one to walk away. Will BG James finally be able to defeat Mike Sanders in a one on one matchup, a feat he has yet to accomplish--granted, often due to interference or blatant cheating on the part of Mike Sanders--or will the arrogant Mike Sanders once again find a way to sneak out with a victory against his most hated enemy and prove that he is as "superior" to BG James as he claims to be? Storm has been nothing short of amazing, racking up an awesome match record of 18 wins and just 4 losses and perhaps the scariest thing of all is that it seems like he is only just getting started. His challenger at Mayhem, Dustin Rhodes, earned the opportunity by defeating three other men in a four way number one contenders match on Monday Nitro, continuing his own streak of success of four wins in a row. And where the champion is 18 and 4 since WCW's return from hiatus, the challenger is 12 and 5. Two talented young men, two impressive win/loss records, but only one United States Championship. Will Lance Storm once again manage to successfully defend the United States Championship? It all began when Scott Hall made his return to WCW at Bash At The Beach by helping The Insiders, Kevin Nash and DDP, who were Tag Team Champions at the time, retain the titles by involving himself in the match. This proved to become a source of conflict between Kevin Nash and Diamond Dallas Page. DDP was adamant that he did not want to win that way, while Nash did not seem to have much of a problem with it. Things would only get worse, however, as the issues between DDP and Scott Hall continued, with Nash caught in the middle and trying to play peacemaker. It all came to a head at The Great American Bash when Scott Hall and Diamond Dallas Page faced off against each other with one half of the Tag Team Championships on the line. It was during this match that Kevin Nash turned on DDP, stabbing him in the back and helping Scott Hall win the match. The Outsiders were once again Tag Team Champions, but the issues between Nash, Hall and DDP were only just getting started. Allying himself with Kanyon, DDP went on a quest to get the Tag Titles away from The Outsiders in a war that raged for months, but despite coming close a couple of times, DDP and Kanyon could never quite get the job done. Now, finally, Diamond Dallas Page gets the man who stabbed him in the back, Kevin Nash, in the ring one on one to settle the score between them once and for all. The only question is; Will DDP finally get his retribution? Or will "Big Sexy" be able to overcome a no doubt highly motivated Diamond Dallas Page? One thing is for sure; This won't be a wrestling match...it will be a fight!</p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="36487" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ScottSteiner.jpg</span><span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/JeffJarrett.jpg</span>vs.<span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BillGoldberg2.jpg</span><span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BookerT.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> The main event has huge implications for everyone involved, both The Elite as well as Goldberg and Booker T. If Goldberg and Booker T wins the match, one of them will be heading to Starrcade to challenge for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship that is currently held by Scott Steiner, but if The Elite wins neither Goldberg nor Booker T can challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship for the entire year of 2002. The Elite wants to dominate WCW and eliminating Goldberg and Booker T from the World Title picture for a full year would certainly go a long way toward accomplishing that. But for Goldberg and Booker T, if they can manage to work together in spite of the fact that only one of them can earn the right to challenge for the World Title at the biggest show of the year, then an opportunity of a lifetime could be awaiting them at the end of this match--IF they can get the job done. Will Scott Steiner and Jeff Jarrett eliminate Goldberg and Booker T from the World title picture for the next year? Or will either Goldberg or Booker T be heading to the biggest event of the year, Starrcade, to challenge Scott Steiner for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship? And what impact will the rest of The Elite have on this match?</p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p></div><p></p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">The Return of Sting?</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/Sting3.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

We have gotten word that Sting, who has not been seen in WCW since Halloween Havoc one month ago, is slated to return "sooner rather than later" and there are apparently big plans in place for him upon his return. Word is that Sting is scheduled to be involved in one of the top three matches of Starrcade and there is a rumor that he will be coming back with a "slightly tweaked character". We don't know what that means, exactly, but fans will no doubt be thrilled to hear that Sting will be back on WCW television soon. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Konnan suspended?</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/Konnan2.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

We have gotten word that Konnan is currently serving a one month suspension following a backstage altercation with Goldberg which apparently led to Konnan psychically attacking Goldberg. Management was said to be furious with Konnan. Some have speculated that the incident was viewed more harshly because Konnan went after Goldberg, one of the top guys in the company, but the general feeling is that Konnan would have been suspended no matter who he went after as that kind of behavior is exactly the kind that management has been trying to eliminate from the company. It is also rumored that the only reason management did not get rid of Konnan right then and there is because of his close friendship with Rey Misterio Jr., but word is that Konnan is on his last chance and if he repeats that kind of behavior again he will "most definitely be fired".</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">WCW Mayhem</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/WCWMayhem1.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Management is said to be quite optimistic about the upcoming Mayhem pay per view. After the disappointment of Halloween Havoc, the feeling is that Mayhem needs to be a great show and even though there is already a lot of focus on next months Starrcade pay per view, management generally feels that, with the main event tag team match and Kevin Nash versus Diamond Dallas Page as the main attractions, the Mayhem pay per view is looking very solid and should do well.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">El Mesías destined for success?</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/RickyBanderas2.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

WCW management continues to be very high on El Mesías and word is that they see him as someone who can go all the way to become a main eventer in the company. El Mesías' push has been somewhat disjointed thus far, but management is said to be as dedicated as ever to pushing him and there is generally a lot of faith being put in him. The feeling is that he has both the in-ring ability as well as a great and unique look that could really carry him far and right now management is simply trying to figure out what the best approach is going to be with him. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

And that is it for this edition of WCW Backstage News. Until next time, and don't forget to tune into WCW Mayhem this Sunday night live on pay per view!</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Week 4, November, 2001

Live from the Bank Of Kentucky Center in Highland Heights, Kentucky

Attendance: 19.199 (sellout)

WCW Mayhem goes live and on the air but rather than the usual, impressive display of fireworks that normally opens WCW's huge pay per view events, Mayhem instead opens to the sound of Eric Bischoff's theme music blasting through the speakers as the WCW owner makes his way out from the backstage area. But he does not walk alone.

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/EricBischoff3.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/RicFlair2.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/SeanOHaire2001.jpg

Flanked by "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and Sean O'Haire, Eric Bischoff makes his way down the aisle and into the ring where he is greeted by a chorus of boo's from the fans--which the WCW owner just brushes off with a laugh. Bischoff then gets on the mic and welcomes everybody to WCW Mayhem! Bischoff says that tonight is going to be a great night for The Elite because tonight Scott Steiner and Jeff Jarrett will ensure that the WCW World Heavyweight Championship title picture will be entirely without Goldberg and Booker T for the entire next year. After allowing the worst of the boo's to die down, Bischoff continues by saying that he has big plans for WCW's future and The Elite are at the very core of all of those plans. And it all starts tonight. Bischoff vows that The Elite is going to be the single biggest, most powerful and more dominant stable in the history of professional wrestling--and yes, that includes the nWo. The Elite is wrestling's present and wrestling's future and--but then the WCW owner suddenly spots something in the crowd, or rather someONE in the crowd. "What the hell are you doing here?!?" he asks, now visibly upset. The cameraman scrambles to to get a shot of whoever Bischoff is addressing and there, sitting on the front row among the rest of the crowd is....

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/LexLuger5.jpg

LEX LUGER!!!! A huge pop surges through the building as the fans realize that Lex Luger is sitting among them. The announcers are going crazy as well, caught up in the excitement, but they regain their composure and remind everyone that Lex Luger was fired from WCW two weeks ago after losing the main event World Heavyweight Championship match on Nitro against Scott Steiner--with the help of some timely interference by Sean O'Haire, as Dusty Rhodes is quick to remind everyone of. Inside the ring, Eric Bischoff calls for security to get rid of Luger, but Luger reaches into one of the pockets in his jeans and pulls out....a ticket! Apparently Lex Luger is a paying customer just like everyone else. Now livid in the ring, Bischoff instructs the security guards to inspect Luger's ticket carefully and if anything, even the tiniest thing, is out of order with it he wants them to throw him out! The security guards inspect Luger's ticket and then inform Bischoff that everything checks out, much to Bischoff's displeasure, and Tony Schiavone is heard remarking that, while Bischoff probably could have Luger removed with some trumped up charge or another, it probably would be bad for business and business--making money-- is what Eric Bischoff cares about more than anything else. Bischoff reluctantly says that Luger can stay, but he will be watched closely and he better not do anything except sit on his ass and watch the show because if he does...he is going to regret it! Bischoff then drops the mic and heads toward the backstage area along with Ric Flair. Sean O'Haire, on the other hand, lingers in the ring for a while, engaged in an intense staredown with Lex Luger. Tony Schiavone reminds us, again, that it was Sean O'Haire's interference that ultimately cost Lex Luger his match against Scott Steiner, the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and his very career two weeks ago on Monday Nitro, and Mike Tenay adds that O'Haire cost Luger everything and he would not blame Luger for wanting payback. With Luger and O'Haire still staring each other down, we cut backstage where "Buff Daddy" is standing by. ©

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BuffBagwell2.jpg

In the back, Buff Bagwell says that there is something he needs to clear up here tonight, a record that needs to be set straight. Buff says that, contrary to what people seem to think, "Buff Daddy" is NOT at all afraid of The British Bulldog. Why would he be? He is better than The British Bulldog, faster than The British Bulldog and a hell of a lot better looking than The British Bulldog! The fact of the matter is that Davey Boy Smith is just jealous of "Buff Daddy", plain and simple. And why? Because Davey Boy Smith is nothing but a washed up has-been while "Buff Daddy" is the wave of the future, baby! Buff says that he is destined to be the single greatest WCW World Heavyweight Champion of all time and that his journey to the title starts tonight by proving to the world that Davey Boy just doesn't have what it takes anymore. Tonight Davey Boy finds out what it means to face a real man in the ring! (D+)

WCW Cruiserweight Championship

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/WCWCW.jpg

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ReyMysterioMask.jpgvs.http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ChavoGuerreroJr.jpgvs.http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ShaneHelms.jpgvs.http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BillyKidman2.jpg

The Cruiserweights were on first and as always they delivered some exciting and high-flying action. The match itself was very even with all four competitors having their spells of dominance and each of them scored at least one near-fall during the match. The finish came when Chavo Guerrero Jr. and Shane Helms were down outside the ring and Billy Kidman was alone in the ring with the Cruiserweight Champion, Rey Misterio Jr. Both men were down on the floor of the ring, however, and struggling to get to their feet due to the exhaustion from this grueling and extremely competitive match. But then, suddenly and to literally everyone's great surprise, the sound of the nWo's trademark music suddenly began blasting through the arena and out walked....

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ScottHall2.jpg

Scott Hall! Which immediately prompted Tony Schiavone, Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes to speculate as to why Scott Hall was making his way toward the ring. None of them could come up with any kind of logical explanation as to what Scott Hall was doing out there, yet there he was, slowly making his way toward the ring. Meanwhile, back in the ring, Rey Misterio Jr. and Bily Kidman had both made it back to their feet and were exchanging blows until Misterio suddenly took Kidman down with a Hurricanrana just as Scott Hall entered the ring. With his challengers momentarily down, Rey Misterio Jr. stepped up to Scott Hall and confronted him about his presence in the ring....only to get knocked down by a vicious right hand punch by Hall! Hall then pulled Rey Misterio Jr. back to his feet and threw him over the top rope and out of the ring before demanding a mic.

Scott Hall:.... Hey Yo!

Hall was met by nothing but boo's from the crowd and the announcers all cursed Scott Hall for the complete and utter lack of respect he was showing the four men involved in the Cruiserweight Championship title match. Hall continued by saying that he was out there tonight because he had a message for Eric Bischoff and The Elite and---and that was as far as Scott Hall got because Rey Misterio Jr. made his way back into the ring and went right for Hall, connecting with several quick right handed punches that rocked Hall. Then, as Scott Hall was winding up for a big right hand of his own, Rey Misterio Jr. ducked underneath, popped up behind Hall and dropkicked him from behind, sending him tumbling through the ropes and to the outside! But Rey was suddenly pummeled from behind as Shane Helms was back in the ring and he immediately went on the offensive. Misterio managed to fight back, however, and he eventually executed a picture perfect moonsault from the top rope onto Helms but both men were slow to get back to their feet. They did so at about the same time, at which time Chavo Guerrero Jr. also entered the ring again and surprised Shane Helms with a rollup from behind. The referee got into position for the count and Rey Misterio immediately went to break up the pin....but Misterio was suddenly pulled to his feet and yanked out of the ring by.... Scott Hall! But the count continued in the ring...1...2...3!!!!

Chavo Guerrero Jr. defeated Shane Helms, Billy Kidman and Rey Misterio Jr. at 10.03 by pinfall with a surprise roll-up on Helms following interference from Scott Hall. Chavo Guerrero Jr. wins the WCW Cruiserweight Championship (C-)

The match is over and Rey Misterio Jr. is left alone in the ring, the new Cruiserweight Champion already long gone with his new title. Misterio is in utter disbelief over the fact that he just lost the Cruiserweight Championship--and all because of Scott Hall! Hall, who is slowly making his way back up the ramp, looks back up at Rey Misterio in the ring and, adding insult to injury, Hall is actually taunting Rey, wiggling his fingers at him, pretending to be scared....the usual Scott Hall antics. We then cut to the announce table and Tony Schiavone, Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes.

As we join the announcers at their table Tony Schiavone promptly states that Rey Misterio Jr. just got screwed over. Mike Tenay agrees and wonders what could possibly have motivated Scott Hall to do what he did, and Dusty Rhodes quickly adds that Scott Hall just came out here to deliver a message To The Elite and everything that happened after that was a result of Rey Misterio Jr. attacking Hall--he doesn't agree with Hall's actions, and he commends Misterio for sticking up for himself, but Dusty doesn't believe that Scott Hall had any intention of screwing Rey Misterio over when he came out here--it just turned out that way. Tony admits that Dusty may be right, but whether he intended to or not when he walked out here, Scott Hall did just cost Rey Misterio Jr. the Cruiserweight Championship and that's not right. We cut backstage where Dustin Rhodes, the man who will be challenging Lance Storm for the WCW United States Championship later tonight, is standing by. Dustin says that he has worked long and hard to get to where he is at today and to get this opportunity at the United States Championship. He says that he values this opportunity greatly, but that he also greatly respects Lance Storm's in-ring abilities and Dustin knows that it's going to be a tough match. But he's gonna give it his all here tonight and hopefully it will be enough for him to be able to leave Mayhem as the new WCW United States Champion! (D+)

The second match of the night was a rematch from Halloween Havoc between "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith and Buff Bagwell. The match started off rather...interestingly...as Buff Bagwell left the ring as soon as the bell rang and for once it was not because he was running from The Bulldog. Buff made his way over to a fan who was sitting at ringside, holding up a sign that read "Nobody Likes Buff" which "Buff Daddy" apparently took great exception to. Buff did eventually get back in the ring, with a "helping hand" from Davey Boy Smith, and the match got under way. The match itself was pretty much on par with their match at Halloween Havoc and both men got their share of offense in. In the end, however, history would repeat itself as "The British Bulldog" caught Buff Bagwell in mid-air as Bagwell was attempting a cross body and, after a slight adjustment, The Bulldog had Buff on his shoulders and in prime position for the Running Powerslam which he delivered to perfection and picked up the three count and the win.

More specifically to the nWo locker room where "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash is seen getting ready for his match against Diamond Dallas Page later tonight when Scott Hall walks in. Nash turns and asks Hall what the hell happened with Hall and Rey Misterio out there, and Hall replies that Rey Misterio apparently didn't appreciate getting knocked on his ass. The Outsiders share a laugh and then Hall asks if Nash is ready for DDP tonight. Nash says that he is definitely ready, not just for DDP tonight but for the war with The Elite as well. Nash says that Bischoff made a big mistake when he decided that The Outsiders should be nothing more than Scott Steiner's lackeys, but he won't realize that until The Elite is dead and buried and the nWo is still standing. Hall agrees and wishes "Big Kev" good luck in his match tonight, but Nash cockily replies that he has never needed to rely on luck. He is both bigger and badder than DDP and tonight he'll prove it once again. ©

Elsewhere in the back, in WCW owner Eric Bischoff's office, to be exact, Bischoff is with Ric Flair and Sean O'Haire and he is still not a happy man. Bischoff says that he is convinced that Lex Luger is up to something, that he has a reason for being here and it is damn sure not just to watch the show. "The Nature Boy" agrees that Luger would not show up just to watch and that he is definitely planning something. Bischoff instructs both Flair and Sean O'Haire to be ready to act when Luger does make his move because there is no way in hell that Bischoff will allow Luger to mess up his plans. Bischoff says that WCW is his company and that he got rid of Lex Luger because Luger was a backstabbing coward who couldn't cut it anymore, and Bischoff does not want a piece of trash like Luger to get one up on him. Flair reassures Bischoff that he and the big man, Sean O'Haire, will take care of Luger if he is dumb enough to make a move against them here tonight. (C+)

Tables Match

The third match of the night was a tables match in what could very well have been the final encounter in the long rivalry between Mike Sanders and BG James. The match was even with both men giving in their all and both men came close to putting the other through a table on multiple occasions. At one point BG James seemed to have the match won when Bam Bam Bigelow inserted himself into the match...only to get promptly tossed out of the ring again by BG James! Later, when James was again in control of the match and looking to put an end to it, it was Stacy Keibler's turn to come to Sanders' rescue as she climbed up on the apron and did her best to draw BG James' attention by openly flirting with him. It looked as though James was buying it, but just as Sanders attempted to blindside James, he spun around and met Sanders with a swift kick and a DDT, foiling another interference attempt by Mike Sanders' allies. Left to his own devices, it seemed Mike Sanders was running out of moves to make as BG James set him up for a huge powerbomb through a table that had been set up in the middle of the ring...but Sanders slipped out the back! James turned around and, seemingly almost in desperation, Sanders kicked James in the gut, grabbed hold of his head and jumped forward, driving BG James face first through the table with a bulldog for the win!

Mike Sanders defeated BG James at 11.44 when Sanders put BG James through a table (D+)

As Stacy Keibler and Bam Bam Bigelow joins a celebrating Mike Sanders in the ring, Tony Schiavone says that even if he doesn't particularly like him, and even though both Bigelow and Stacy attempted to impact the match, he still has to be impressed with the win that Mike Sanders was able to pull out against BG James here tonight. Mike Tenay agrees, saying that once all of Mike Sanders' backup plans failed he had no choice but to rely on his own raw ability and that proved to be enough here tonight. We then cut to the backstage.

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BookerT.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BillGoldberg2.jpg

In the back, Booker T and Goldberg are going over their tactics for tonights huge tag team main event. Booker T says that tonight's the night and they need to be on the same page if they want any chance of beating The Elite. Goldberg just sneers and informs Booker that he just needs to be on Goldberg's page and everything will work out just fine. Goldberg then walks off, ignoring Booker's attempt to continue their discussion and the camera zooms in on a somewhat concerned looking Booker T while the announcers speculate whether Booker T and Goldberg will be able to cooperate in tonights main event, with Dusty adding that that seems to be entirely up to Goldberg because Booker T has done everything in his power to reach out to Goldberg, but Goldberg doesn't seem overly responsive. (B-)

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/DiamondDallasPage.jpg

Elsewhere in the back Diamond Dallas Page is standing by, looking calm and focused as his long awaited match against "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash draws near. DDP says that he has been waiting for this match for a long time--ever since Nash stabbed him in the back at the Great American Bash. Page says that he didn't join consider Nash a tag team partner, he considered him a friend. Well, until that night, anyway. Page says that he was wrong about Nash, though. Somehow he had managed to make himself forget that Kevin Nash always has and always will be a greedy, selfish, arrogant bastard who would sell his own mother if there was enough money on the table. But he is not going to repeat that mistake, not tonight and not ever again. DDP says that he has always known who and what Kevin Nash really is and he was foolish to trust him, but that doesn't excuse Nash's actions. And he will pay for thos actions here tonight but, unlike Nash, DDP is not going to stab Nash in the back--he'll stand face to face with him in the ring and take care of things the old fashioned way; man to man! WCW United States Championship

The fourth match of the night was for the WCW United States Championship as the champion, Lance Storm, took on the challenger, Dustin Rhodes. Both men have enjoyed quite a bit of success since WCW's return from hiatus and this was a huge match for both men. The match started out hot with neither man able to take control of the match, but the champion eventually wore Rhodes down with a lethal mix of technical wrestling and submission holds. Storm dominated the next several minutes until Rhodes made his grand comeback as the crowd rallied behind the up and coming star. From that point on the match went back and forth several times and both men came within a single count of winning the match. In the end it was Lance Storm who picked up the win when he surprised Rhodes as he came off the ropes with a rolling version of his Canadian Maple Leaf submission move and, after struggling against it for a while, Rhodes was left with no other choice but to tap out.

Lance Storm defeated Dustin Rhodes at 13.55 by submission with the Canadian Maple Leaf. Lance Storm retains the WCW United States Championship (C-)

As Lance Storm and his manager, Ted DiBiase, celebrate Storm's successful title defense in the ring we cut to the announce table.

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/TonySchiavone3.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/MikeTenay3.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/DustyRhodes.jpg

At the announce table Tony Schiavone praises the efforts of both men in the US Title match, saying that both men left it all in the ring here tonight. Dusty Rhodes is quick to agree, adding that he is proud of the fight that his son put up here tonight, but unfortunately tonight just wasn't his night. Mike Tenay adds that Storm has been an impressive US Champion so far, having held the title for several months already, and he is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down. We then cut to the backstage area where...

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ScottSteiner.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/JeffJarrett.jpg

The WCW World Heavyweight Champion, "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner is talking with his tag team partner here tonight, and Elite ally, Jeff Jarrett. The two seem to be going over their strategy for tonights match, but Steiner suddenly notices the camera man who is filming them and he absolutely flies off the handle! Steiner begins screaming at the camera man, telling him to get the f*** out! Jarrett attempts to calm Steiner down, but Steiner has completely lost it as he psychically shoves the camera man out of the room and then slams the door shut as the announcers wonder out loud whether either team will be fully ready to compete in tonights main event. B-)

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/DiamondDallasPage.jpgvs.http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/KevinNash2002.jpg

Back in the ring it was finally time for the highly anticipated one on one matchup between Kevin Nash and Diamond Dallas Page and, in a development that probably surprised most people, Kevin Nash came to the ring alone and without Scott Hall. What was less surprising was that this match was a rather slow-paced affair, but a very even one at that. Nash used his size and strength to overpower DDP and dominate the match early on, but DDP never stopped fighthing back and when Page eventually focused in on the legs of "Big Sexy" the match swung big time in his favor. The finish to this one came when DDP went for the Diamond Cutter but Nash was able to push him off. DDP then bounces off the ropes and Nash caught him with a huge Big Boot....and then the straps came down as "Big Sexy" signalled for the Jackknife Powerbomb....and delivered one with devastating impact. Nash then covered DDP and...1...2...3!

Kevin Nash defeated Diamond Dallas Page at 12.14 by pinfall following a Jackknife Powerbomb ©

The match is over but both men are still down in the ring, completely exhausted following what was quite the grueling match. We then cut away as a pre-taped video package begins to play...

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ScottSteiner.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/JeffJarrett.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BookerT.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BillGoldberg2.jpg

The video package focuses on the upcoming main event match between The Elite and Goldberg and Booker T, highlighting the events that has led us to this match here tonight, and it ends with the voice of WCW owner Eric Bischoff announcing that if Booker T and Goldberg wins then one of them will be heading to Starrcade to challenge for the World Championship, but if The Elite wins neither Goldberg nor Booker T are eligible to challenge for the World Title in all of 2002.....(B-)

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ScottSteiner.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/JeffJarrett.jpgvs.http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BillGoldberg2.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BookerT.jpg

There were a couple of huge questions going into this one--mainly about whether Booker T and Goldberg would be able to work together, but also about the mindset of the World Heavyweight Champion, Scott Steiner, after seeing him fly off the handle earlier tonight. The match itself was every bit as good as you would expect a match featuring four of the top stars in WCW to be, and all four men left it all in the ring tonight. After weathering the initial flurry of the babyfaces, The Elite took control of the match by isolating Booker T and wearing him down, but no matter what they did, Booker kept kicking out and fighting back. Booker would eventually make a successful comeback and he got the hot tag to Goldberg who came in and absolutely cleaned house....and that's when things really began to break down and fall apart....

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/RicFlair2.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/SeanOHaire2001.jpg

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and Sean O'Haire suddenly made their way down to the ring and, without hesitation, they entered the ring and attacked Goldberg! Everybody in the building looked to the referee to call for the DQ, but it never happened--in fact, the referee, Nick Patrick, briefly got on the mic and informed everyone that Eric Bischoff had made the match a NO-DQ match. That announcement, combined with the view of Goldberg and a worn down Booker T attempting to fight off the entire Elite, left one man in the building with little choice.....

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/LexLuger5.jpg

LEX LUGER!!! Lex Luger hopped the barricade and quickly made his way into the ring, coming to the aid of Goldberg and Booker T! The fans absolutely love it as "The Total Package" tosses both Flair and Sean O'Haire from the ring, evening the odds once again. With Flair and O'Haire preoccupied with Luger outside the ring, Goldberg suddenly sprinted across the ring and hit a high impact Spear on "Bit Poppa Pump", nearly cutting the World Champion in half! Goldberg then covered Steiner....1...2...3--NO! Jeff Jarrett interrupted the count at the very last second! Jarrett then attacked Goldberg, pummeling him with rights and lefts but ignored the shots and Speared Jarrett as well!!! Goldberg then signalled for the Jackhammer, but as he hoisted Jarrett up into position Scott Steiner got back to his feet just as Booker T reentered the ring as well. Booker connected with a perfectly placed sidekick to Steiner's jaw which sent the World Champion tumbling out of the ring just as Goldberg nailed Jarrett with the Jackhammer. Goldberg then pinned Jarrett...but Booker T is still in the ring!

1....

Booker T literally stood right next to Goldberg as he pinned Jarrett, contemplating his options with a main event spot at Starrcade on the line.

2....

Is he?...would he?

3!!!!!

Goldberg and Booker T defeated Jeff Jarrett and Scott Steiner at 16.45 by pinfall when Goldberg pinned Jarrett following a Spear/Jackhammer combination. Goldberg is heading to Starrcade to challenge for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship (B)

And with a shot of Goldberg standing victorious in the ring, Booker T standing a bit behind him, staring at him, and with Scott Steiner standing outside the ring, clutching his World Heavyweight Championship title belt tightly as he looks up at Goldberg in the ring, WCW Mayhem comes to a thrilling conclusion!

Dude...great work. I was one of the original readers before my health issues, and so i came back to this dinasty, started over and...what a great job. I'm loving it so far. Too bad we can't see Flair with a world title. Other than that, you're doing great. I've spent the last few days reading the whole thing since the beginning, and I will follow this as much as I can. You have gained a reader. Great job!

<p>Good show and good build for Starrcade. You managed to have a great main event. Interesting choice by Booker, but it's definitely a reality of something he would do.</p><p> </p><p>

I love what you're doing with Luger and I hope it doesn't turn into a swerve with him joining the Elite. Looking forward to Sting's return and what you have in store for him!</p>

Just caught up on this :D Mayhem was excellent, and although I'm not familiar with that era in WCW, I felt anger when O'Haire came down in the Main Event and then was even pleased to see Luger...!!! Pleased to see Luger?! WTF?! but it was well written :D

Was glad to see Buldog win, but gutted that Road Dogg and Rhodes... Dog... didn't, although Storm's Title reign is getting long now isn't it?! :)

I liked Mayhem as well, it was a very good pre-Starrcade buildup show.

Ric Flair and Jeff Jarrett vs. Goldberg and Booker T

Goldberg should not lose from here until Starrcade.

Kanyon vs. Shane Douglas - US Title Number One Contender Qualifier

Shane has been JTTS'ing it up, can't see that changing here.

Vampiro vs. Marty Jannetty - US Title Number One Contender Qualifer

The Impact Players vs. Billy Kidman and Shane Helms - Tag Team Championship Qualifier

I guess a bigger team will come in to beat TIP, either that or Storm will be wrestling twice in one night?

Diamond Dallas Page vs. Bam Bam Bigelow

DDP could use the comeback.

Interesting card here... I can see some upsets! I like the idea of the two big matches you've announced qualifiers for, and I think it'd be a good way for Air Styles and Air Paris to come in. I see them qualifying for Starcade, and then stealing the show... but not winning :)

Eric Bischoff, the World Heavyweight Champion "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner, "The Chosen One" Jeff Jarrett and Sean O'Haire all enter the ring and, as usual, it is the owner of WCW who grabs the mic first. Bischoff says that there are so many things to address that he doesn't even know where to start! He says that what happened last night at Mayhem during the main event was nothing short of a travesty. To have someone who has nothing to do with this company anymore actually influence the outcome of a high stakes match with World Title implications is absolutely unacceptable and it will not be allowed to go unpunished--not by a long shot! Bischoff then says that he wants Lex Luger to be in this very ring next week on Monday Nitro to face the consequences of his actions, and if he is not, if Luger is too much of a coward to be here next week...then he WILL press trespassing and assault charges against Luger for what he did last night at Mayhem. A huge "Luger" chant breaks out, much to Bischoff's, and the rest of The Elite's, great annoyance, and Bischoff doesn't even wait for the chant to die down before he continues. </p><p> </p><p> Up next on Eric Bischoff's agenda; Booker T. Bischoff says that Booker T has to be the absolute least ambitious guy on the entire WCW roster, considering his actions--or rather, lack of actions,--last night during the main event of Mayhem. For Booker T to just stand by and watch while Goldberg picked up a World Title shot and a spot in the main event of the biggest show of the year, Starrcade, right in front of his eyes...was absolutely pathetic. Bischoff says that Booker T showed a complete and utter lack of backbone, so much so that Bischoff is beginning to wonder why he is even paying Booker T money to be here. The fact of the matter is that Booker T is nothing more than Goldberg's b*tch! The crowd boos Bischoff and The Elite heavily, but Bischoff just smirks and goes to continue. But then, suddenly....</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BookerT.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> The building erupts with cheers as Booker T makes his way out onto the stage with a mic in his hand. Booker informs Bischoff that he couldn't be more wrong about him. There is nothing Booker wants more than to regain the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, but he is damn sure not gonna do it by turning on his own tag team partner! Booker says that he would have loved to walk out of Mayhem last night with a spot in the main event of Starrcade, but Goldberg had the match won and he had to respect that. Naturally Eric Bischoff thinks that that is a load of crap, but Booker T fires back that he didn't expect someone like Bischoff to understand anything about sportsmanship. But, since he was still on the winning team last night, defeating the current World Heavyweight Champion, Booker T believes that he has earned the right to receive an opportunity to challenge for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship! The crowd cheers again, fully agreeing with Booker but, unsurprisingly, Eric Bischoff doesn't seem to be on the same page. Bischoff asks why he would even consider giving Booker an opportunity like that--it's not like he would appreciate it, anyway, as he proved last night at Mayhem. Booker T is about to reply but he is suddenly interrupted as....</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/KevinNash2002.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash joins the party to a very mixed reaction from the crowd! Nash says that he's hearing a lot of talk about the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and if anyone deserves a shot at the title, it's him! He says that he has been on a roll ever since WCW returned, picking up win after win and Nash believes that his win last night against Diamond Dallas Page sealed the deal. Nash says he knows that the last thing Eric Bischoff wants to do is give...well, anything, but the fact that he deserve it. And Nash knows that Bischoff cares more about making money than anything else, and it would be very bad for business to blatantly and unfairly refuse to give people the opportunities they deserve. Nash says that all anyone has to do is look at his match record, his wins and losses and at the people he's beaten. His track record speaks for itself.</p><p> </p><p> In the ring, Eric Bischoff considers the words of both Booker T and Kevin Nash carefully, and then he smiles. Bischoff says there is no way in hell that he is handing either of them a World Title shot, but here's what he will do. At Starrcade there is going to be a number one contenders match to determine who will be the first to get a shot at Scott Steiner's WCW World Heavyweight Championship in 2002. That match is going to be Booker T....versus Kevin Nash....versus....Jeff Jarrett! And Bischoff promises both Booker T and Kevin Nash one thing; when Jeff Jarrett beats them at Starrcade, they'll both go all the way down to the very bottom of the list of contenders and nobody will be able to say that they didn't get the opportunity they deserved. Both Booker and Nash seemed satisfied with this announcement, even though the smirk on Eric Bischoff's face makes it obvious that he has more than a few tricks up his sleeve which he intend to use to ensure that both Booker T and Kevin Nash are unsuccessful at Starrcade. <strong>©</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> The announcers, Tony Schiavone, Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes, briefly recap the huge announcements that were just made; Booker T versus Kevin Nash versus Jeff Jarrett at Starrcade with a World Heavyweight Championship title shot on the line, and Eric Bischoff demanding that Lex Luger appear on next week's WCW Monday Nitro to "face the consequences of his actions". We then cut back to ringside as it is time for tonights main event <strong>(D+)</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="36487" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/JeffJarrett.jpg</span><span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/RicFlair2.jpg</span>vs.<span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BillGoldberg2.jpg</span><span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BookerT.jpg</span><p> </p><p> </p><p> Tonight's main event was a huge tag team match with Elite members Jeff Jarrett and Ric Flair facing off against Goldberg and Booker T. This, too, was an even match, though that was unsurprising, and it was a good one that went back and forth in the early goings until The Elite took control by isolating Booker T. They spent the next several minutes working Booker T over, but Booker would eventually mount his comeback and make the hot tag to Goldberg who came in and absolutely cleaned house!!! With Jarrett and Flair very much on their heels, it looked as though Goldberg was about ready to finish them off when.....</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ScottSteiner.jpg</span><span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/SeanOHaire2001.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Scott Steiner and Sean O'Haire made their way down to the ring, much to the announcers displeasure as Tony Schiavone was heard saying the words "Goddamnit" as the rest of The Elite once again interfered. Steiner and O'Haire hit the ring and attacked Goldberg, forcing the referee to call for a DQ, but The Elite did not care about that. They were there for one reason and one reason only; to do some damage to Goldberg before Starrcade.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Goldberg and Booker T defeated Jeff Jarrett and Ric Flair at 13.23 by DQ when the rest of The Elite interfered in the match (B-)</strong></p><p> </p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BillGoldberg2.jpg</span><span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BookerT.jpg</span><span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ScottSteiner.jpg</span><span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/JeffJarrett.jpg</span><span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/RicFlair2.jpg</span><span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/SeanOHaire2001.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Outnumbered four to two, Goldberg and Booker T are still putting up a fight, but the numbers game is just too much for them to overcome in this situation as The Elite eventually gains complete control and things go from a four on two brawl to a four on two beatdown of Goldberg and Booker T. And The Elite is relentless, pounding away on Goldberg and Booker T and Scott Steiner even signals for Sean O'Haire to grab a couple of chairs from ringside and bring them into the ring. O'Haire does so and hands one chair to Steiner and keeping the other for himself while Ric Flair and Jeff Jarrett gets Goldberg and Booker T back to their feet and it is obvious what comes next. Steiner and O'Haire prepares to blast Goldberg and Booker T in their heads with the steel chairs as Tony is heard saying that "this is sickening to watch!".....but then, suddenly, all lights go out in the building, bathing everything in a sea of darkness for several moments......then the lights come back on and.........</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/Sting24.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> IT'S STING!!!!!!</p><p> </p><p> Sting is back and, much to The Elite's shock and surprise, he is standing in the middle of the ring with his trusty black baseball bat in hand. Everyone hesitates for a moment...and then The Elite attacks! But Sting is ready for them and he blasts Sean O'Haire with the baseball bat! Then Jarrett, and Flair and then, finally, he nails Scott Steiner in the forehead with the bat! The Elite is down! Goldberg and Booker T are down! And with a shot of Sting standing tall in the middle of the carnage, surveying the damage with his bat in hand, Monday Nitro comes to a thrilling conclusion! <strong>©</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Final Show Rating: B- </strong></p><p><strong> TV Rating: 0.50</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p>
