Page gets on the mic and says that ever since returning to WCW Scott Hall has done nothing but cause him grief and he continued last week when he cost DDP his match against Scott Steiner. Page goes on to talk about Sunday's Great American Bash pay per view and his ladder match against Scott Hall. DDP says he can't wait for the Great American Bash because he is getting tired of walking around with a title that he never earned and he hopes that, when he beats Hall on Sunday at the Bash, he will finally feel worthy of strapping that tag team title belt around his waist.

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ScottHall2.jpg

The nWo music suddenly starts playing, interrupting DDP, and Scott Hall walks out from the back with a cocky grin on his face and a mic in his hand. "Hey Yo" Hall starts out, to a mixed reaction from the crowd. "Lemme get this straight...you we're pissed at me for helping you win the Tag Team Titles...and now you're pissed at me for supposedly costing you your match against Scott Steiner last week?" Hall pauses and holds his hands out, pretending to be confused. DDP says he's not going to play any of Hall's games and that, as far as he is concerned, this whole business will be settled this Sunday night at the Great American Bash. So unless Hall is actually ready to "bring it instead of singing it" he's got nothing to say to him.

DDP drops the mic and motions for Hall to come down to the ring and, rather surprisingly, Scott Hall starts making his way toward the ring where DDP is anxiously awaiting his arrival. As Hall approaches the ring Diamond Dallas Page readies himself to fight in the ring but just as Hall is about to slide into the ring, DDP is jumped from behind by....

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ScottSteiner.jpg

Scott Steiner! Steiner beats DDP down and Scott Hall quickly enters the ring and joins in the beatdown while the crowd showers them with boos and the announcers wonder Scott Steiner is helping Scott Hall ambush Diamond Dallas Page. The WCW World Heavyweight Champion! As Booker T runs down to the ring Mike Tenay quickly reminds everyone of the "no contact" clause WCW owner Eric Bischoff made between Booker T and Scott Steiner in order to "protect the integrity of the main event of The Great American Bash", meaning that if Booker T attacks Scott Steiner now he will lose he WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Booker T does not seem to have forgotten, however, as he heads directly for Scott Hall as soon as he hits the ring, making the fight an even two on two. With Scott Hall on the defensive against Booker T, Diamond Dallas Page begins to fight back against Scott Steiner as well and eventually Booker T and DDP force Scott Hall and Scott Steiner to retreat out of the ring. We end up with an intense staredown between Booker T and Scott Steiner as well as between Diamond Dallas Page and Scott Hall, while the announcers remind everyone that Booker T will face Scott Steiner this Sunday night in a Street Fight for the WCW World Championship while Scott Hall faces off against Diamond Dallas Page in a ladder match for DDP's tag team championship title belt. (C-)

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BillyKidman2.jpgvs.http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/DevonStorm.jpg

The opening match of this weeks Monday Nitro saw the number one contender to the Cruiserweight Championship, Billy Kidman, face off against Crowbar. The Cruiserweight Champion, Chavo Guerrero Jr, was at ringside scouting the man he will be facing Sunday night at The Great American Bash and more than once did Guerrero try to get involved behind the referee's back. Despite Chavo Guerrero's presence at ringside, Billy Kidman managed to hit the Shooting Star Press on Crowbar and pick up the win just mere days before receiving his shot at the Cruiserweight Championship.

Billy Kidman defeated Crowbar at 5.20 by pinfall with a Shooting Star Press. Nash says that he's done trying to play peacemaker between Scott and Dallas. He says he tried talking to both men but they are both determined to beat the hell out of each other, so what's he gonna do? Nash says he wants no part of the issue between Hall and DDP--he's done with that. (C+)

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BrianAdams2.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BryanClarke.jpgvs.http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BillGoldberg2.jpg

The second match of the night saw Goldberg face off against KroniK in a handicap match. KroniK came to the ring accompanied by "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair who told the camera that he went through a lot of trouble with Eric Bischoff to make this match a reality but it was all going to be worth it when KroniK puts Goldberg down for the count. The match didn't go quite as the Nature Boy had envisioned, however, as Goldberg came out on top after spearing both Adams and Clark before putting Bryan Clark down for the count with an impactful Jackhammer.

Goldberg defeated KroniK at 6.31 when Goldberg pinned Bryan Clark with a Jackhammer. "The Nature Boy" attacks Goldberg, connecting with some of his famous chops to Goldberg's chest, lighting up "The Man"...to no reaction from Goldberg whatsoever! Flair's eyes grow wide as he realizes that his trademark chops are having no effect on Goldberg and suddenly Goldberg reaches out and grabs Flair by the throat! Flair is in trouble and the crowd roars with anticipation but Goldberg is suddenly attacked from behind by Brian Adams. Flair joins in but Goldberg is still fighting them off until Bryan Clark recovers and joins the fight as well. The three on one assault proves to be too much even for Goldberg to handle and the trio beats Goldberg down to the mat. Then, with Goldberg down on the mat, Ric Flair locks in the Figure Four Leglock while Adams and Clark continues putting the boots to Goldberg until a slew of officials hits the ring to break it up. (D+)

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/JeffJarrett.jpgvs.http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/ErnestMiller.jpg

The third match of the night saw "The Chosen One" Jeff Jarrett taking on "The Cat" Ernest Miller in one on one action. WCW World Heavyweight Champion Booker T had handpicked "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash to face off against Scott Steiner just days before Steiner challenges Booker T for the WCW World Title at the Great American Bash. The match was an intense, hard-hitting contest between two big, strong men that saw a controversial finish when Scott Hall ran down to the ring, seemingly to help Nash pick up the win. Diamond Dallas Page came down to the ring as well to prevent Hall from getting involved and this led to an unfortunate situation where DDP, attempting to take out Hall, accidentally ended up hitting Nash instead which allowed Steiner to hit the Steiner Flatliner and pick up the three count.

Scott Steiner defeated Kevin Nash at 11.51 with a Steiner Flatliner after DDP accidentally hit Nash while trying to prevent Scott Hall from interfering in the match. Breaking News: Ladder match off at The Great American Bash???

We have just received word that World Championship Wrestling may have encountered an unexpected problem here shortly before The Great American Bash. According to rumors TVN Entertainment, World Championship Wrestling's pay per view provider, is refusing to allow WCW to hold the ladder match between Scott Hall and Diamond Dallas Page for DDP's half of the WCW World Tag Team Championships, citing that the match is "too risky" to air. WCW owner Eric Bischoff is said to be absolutely furious with TVN and has been attending several meetings with TVN management in hopes of changing their minds.

More on this if and when we get it.

After weeks of Hall getting involved in DDP's business, and even costing DDP his match against Scott Steiner, Eric Bischoff booked DDP vs. Scott Hall with DDP's half of the tag team championships on the line. And just when it looked like things couldn't get any worse, it all culminated on the last Nitro before The Great American Bash when DDP accidentally hit Kevin Nash as Page was attempting to prevent Scott Hall from interfering in Nash's match.
The Great American Bash is up (well, really it has been for about a day or so but I haven't had time to post this until now) I'm reasonably happy with how it turned out, but having to bail on the ladder match really bothered me. I also had to tone down the main event Street Fight quite a bit as well. I do think I'll use the editor as was suggested here to "fix" the problem (would have done it for The Bash as well but I'd already held the show when that suggestion was made) because otherwise I'll pretty much only be able to have regular matches on my pay per views and that would suck.

Nitro card will be up within the next 24 hours along with this months prediction results.

And, as always, comments and feedback and both welcomed and appreciated.

A few moments pass and then WCW owner Eric Bischoff makes his way out from the backstage area with a cocky grin on his face. Bischoff is followed first by the new WCW World Heavyweight Champion Scott Steiner. The new Tag Team Champions, The Outsiders, are out next and they are followed by Jeff Jarrett and Lex Luger. All six men are wearing the black and white nWo shirts. The group makes their way to the ring, taunting both the camera and the crowd along the way, and then Eric Bischoff gets on the mic.

Eric Bischoff: Ladies and gentlemen you are looking at the very best that this business has ever seen. You are looking at the elite. Along with myself, these men who are standing in the ring with me right now were the reason that we kicked Vince McMahon's ass for two straight years and almost drove him out of business. These five men have more title reigns between them than the rest of the roster combined. These men brought WCW to the very top of this business and now that the band is back together... we're going to do it again.

Suddenly Eric Bischoff is suddenly cut off as Booker T's music hits and the crowd cheers in anticipation of the now former WCW World Champion's arrival.

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/BookerT.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/DiamondDallasPage.jpg

But Booker T does not come out alone as he is flanked by Diamond Dallas Page who, much like Booker T, was screwed over by the nWo last night at The Great American Bash. Booker T has a mic in his hand but Eric Bischoff starts talking again before Booker can say a word.

Eric Bischoff: Before you even say anything just shut the hell up. I already know what you are going to say. It's always the same with you two, isn't it? All you ever think about is yourself, what you want. Booker T...DDP...I know you are both out here to point out that you both have guaranteed rematch clauses for title matches written in your contracts. I know that because I signed them myself. And being the upstanding business man that I am, I am, of course, going to honor those contracts. Booker T...you will get your rematch against Scott Steiner four weeks from now at Souled Out--assuming, of course, that you don't have any kind of unfortunate...accident...between now and then.

The implied threat of that statement is obviously not lost on Booker T who looks as though he is about ready to storm the ring all on his own.

Eric Bischoff: And DDP...you will get your rematch for the Tag Team Titles at Souled Out as well BUT...Booker T and Sting are NOT eligible to be your tag team partner for that match. But good luck finding someone who is willing to team with you, Page. Especially since doing so will mean going up against the owner of the company and the entire nWo, and I guarantee that anyone who does team up with Diamond Dalls Page...I will personally make that persons life a living hell!

Booker T: You better believe that I'm gonna make it to Souled Out, Bischoff! And when I do, I'm walking out with the WCW World Heavyweight Championship!

Scott Steiner looks as though he wants to respond to Booker T but Bischoff calms him down--well, as best he can, anyway. I'm still standing!

The crowd pops hugely for DDP who throws up the Diamond Cutter sign and then a staredown ensues between Booker T and DDP on the entrance ramp and the nWo in the ring. ©

We then cut to the announce table.

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/TonySchiavone3.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/MikeTenay3.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/DustyRhodes.jpg

Tony Schiavone: Fans I want to welcome you all to another action packed edition of WCW Monday Nitro and, as you have unfortunately already seen, the nWo is once again back in WCW.

Mike Tenay: We have really seen signs of this over the past month but it all finally came to fruition last night at The Great American Bash and then here tonight as well.

Dusty Rhodes: I have a sitdown interview with Booker T later tonight guys and I can't wait to hear what Booker has to say after the events of last night.

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/TedDiBiase.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/LanceStorm2.jpghttp://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t1/bigdaddycool2sweet/Euro%20Wrestling/WCW/MikeAwesome3.jpg

We cut to the back where Ted DiBiase, WCW United States Champion Lance Storm and Mike Awesome are all standing by.

Ted DiBiase: No, your eyes does not deceive you.
