WWE Superstars (Live from Omaha Civic Aud Mancuso (NE), 2,500 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Emma versus Kharma

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Kharma defeated Emma in 17:44 by pinfall with a Flying Splash. Unfortunately this match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved with the WWE Universe in attendance still not knowing too much about the Dancing Australian Diva Emma despite her competing in several matches on Monday Night RAW over the last few months and spending time competing inside the NXT Arena in front of the NXT Universe on NXT last year. Ultimately it was the huge behemoth of a Diva known as Kharma who picked up the all-important victory in this one.

Match Rating: D

Pre-Show: Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu versus The Ascension

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Trent & Yoshi defeated The Ascension in 17:35 when Yoshi Tatsu defeated Kenneth Cameron by pinfall with a Gobstopper Knee. This match also needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved with the WWE Universe not caring too much about the Ascension pairing of Conor O’Brian and Kenneth Cameron.

Match Rating: E+

Pre-Show: Uncle Elgin versus Erick Rowan

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Uncle Elgin defeated Erick Rowan in 18:21 by pinfall with a Sitout Powerbomb. Uncle Elgin was visibly tiring towards the end of this match but was still able to pick up the victory here.

Match Rating: F

Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd versus Primo and Epico

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Justin Gabriel & Tyson Kidd defeated Primo & Epico in 8:02 when Justin Gabriel defeated Epico by pinfall with a 450 Splash. Cousins Primo and Epico showed excellent chemistry when teaming together tonight against Gabriel and Kidd but ultimately it was the high-flying fan favourites that picked up the win here after Gabriel pinned Epico following a 450 Splash.

Following a commercial break WWE Superstars airs the RAW rebound which recaps events from this past week’s edition of Monday Night RAW. The show began with the WWE Champion CM Punk making his way to the ring to a chorus of boos from the WWE Universe in attendance. Punk proclaimed that he is fed up of the mistreatment given to him by Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as Punk was once again in action in the evening’s non-title main event against Evan Bourne whilst John Cena was given the night off from in-ring competition. Punk said that despite the bias shown against him, he will still defeat John Cena in the main event of Wrestlemania to once again retain his WWE Championship. Punk claimed that John Cena may have outlasted twenty-nine other WWE Superstars from both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown to win the Royal Rumble match back in January but that none of the participants in the Royal Rumble match were worthy of tying Punk’s boots. Brock Lesnar then joined Punk in the ring and Paul Heyman’s other client Lesnar said that he will beat Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania. Later in the evening Evan Bourne was preparing for the evening’s main event in the locker-room with Antonio Cesaro, Kassius Ohno, Peter Orlov and Mike Dalton when Brock Lesnar stormed into the room and attacked Bourne as Punk and Heyman looked on. Punk would then defeat Bourne in the evening’s main event.

Rating: B

Layla versus Aksana

In an extremely short match, Layla defeated Aksana in 3:21 by pinfall with a Face Lift. The Number One Contender to the Divas Championship, Tamina, accompanied Aksana to ringside in this one.

Match Rating: D

Following a commercial break a preview video package is shown for the match between Randy Orton and the Big Show at Wrestlemania which features highlights from this past week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown when the Big Show defeated Jey Uso in singles competition. Highlights are also shown from this past week’s edition of Monday Night RAW when Chavo Guerrero came to the ring and claimed that since being rehired by Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero several months ago he has yet to be given any opportunities. The WWE Universe then came to their feet as Randy Orton made his way to the ring and hit Chavo with an RKO. Orton and the Big Show will not be able to come into contact before Wrestlemania as Orton has been banned from SmackDown by General Manager Booker T.

Rating: B

Further highlights are shown from last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown as the show began with the World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler making his way to the ring to a mixed reaction from the WWE Universe in attendance and claiming that at Wrestlemania he will defeat Alberto Del Rio to successfully retain his World Heavyweight Championship. Alberto Del Rio then stormed to the ring and for the third week in a row Del Rio as well as his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez attacked Dolph Ziggler. Sheamus would then come to the entrance-way but would once again refuse to aid Dolph Ziggler from the attack. Sheamus would then claim that at Wrestlemania he will defeat the Undertaker to end the streak. In the main event of last week’s SmackDown Ziggler beat Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel in a non-title match. A tweet is then shown from Booker T announcing tomorrow night’s main event as Ziggler taking on the Big Show in non-title action.

Rating: B-

http://wrestlingnewsandviews.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/nxt.jpg

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE NXT:

PAC versus Jake Carter

The main event of tonight’s episode of WWE NXT will see the “Man that Gravity Forgot”, from Newcastle, England, PAC in action as he takes on the son of the legendary Vader, Jake Carter. The NXT Universe inside what is sure to be a packed out NXT Arena tonight will likely be fully behind PAC in this one as the high-flyer regularly entertains the NXT Universe with his high-flying exploits. The NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes will be up close and personal watching this match as Dusty Rhodes is the sole commentator on NXT following the previous commentators William Regal and Byron Saxton moving to the main WWE roster. Dusty Rhodes may have made this match with the Number One Contendership to the NXT Championship in mind and an all-important victory for either PAC or Jake Carter tonight could well see them challenge Seth Rollins for the NXT Championship in the near future. PAC has been competing on NXT for a few months now but this is one of the most high profile main events he will have competed in thus far and all eyes will be on him tonight. Jake Carter would no doubt love to one day follow in the footsteps of his father Vader and compete in front of the WWE Universe on either Monday Night RAW or Friday Night SmackDown and the eyes of WWE management such as Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T will be fixed firmly on the main event tonight. Jake Carter likes to claim that it is “Carter Time” and he will need to impress tonight in what will be his first match on NXT since January when he teamed with Bray Wyatt in a losing effort against the team of Rick Victor and Bo Dallas.

NXT Champion Seth Rollins & Xavier Woods vs. Derrick Bateman & Percy Watson

Also tonight on NXT we will see the reigning NXT Champion Seth Rollins in action as he will team up with Xavier Woods to take on the athletic and charismatic duo of Derrick Bateman and Percy Watson. The NXT Universe inside the NXT Arena has seemingly turned its back on Seth Rollins in recent weeks following an aggressive change of attitude from the NXT Champion.

Nick Rogers versus Brad Maddox versus Calvin Raines

Finally, a Triple Threat match on tonight’s episode of NXT will showcase three competitors that we have not seen almost anything of in NXT as Nick Rogers, Brad Maddox and Calvin Raines will all get the opportunity to showcase their talents. The NXT Universe inside the NXT Arena tonight will not know a whole lot about any of these three rookies but the NXT Commissioner, the WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes may see something in them as he gives them the opportunity to compete in what may be the biggest match in their careers.

Quick Picks:

PAC versus Jake Carter

NXT Champion Seth Rollins & Xavier Woods vs. Derrick Bateman & Percy Watson

http://wrestlingnewsandviews.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/nxt.jpg

WWE NXT (Live from the Johnny Lawrence Arena (FL), 1,287 in Attendance)

This week’s edition of NXT kicks off with the WWE Hall of Famer, the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes as the sole commentator welcoming us to the show. The NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes informs us that tonight’s main event will see the “Man that Gravity Forgot” PAC in action against the son of the legendary Vader, Jake Carter. A Diva then makes her way to the ring, one Diva that the NXT Universe inside the almost sold out NXT Arena are not yet familiar with. The Diva takes a microphone from the ringside area and introduces herself as Jennifer Blake. Jennifer goes on to say that she has been competing for several years but now is the time to really prove herself on NXT. Jennifer Blake says that she plans to one day compete in front of the WWE Universe on either Monday Night RAW or Friday Night SmackDown, but on her own merit. Jennifer Blake says that she doesn’t just want to be handed an opportunity because of the family that she has been born into like Raquel Diaz, who debuted on Monday Night RAW a few weeks ago. Jennifer Blake says that it is widely publicised that Raquel Diaz is the daughter of Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and that Vickie even admitted it when she introduced her to the WWE Universe. Jennifer Blake says that she also does not just want to be handed an opportunity because the pervert known as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T thinks she’s sexy. Jennifer Blake says that she knows that when she does reach the top, she will have done it entirely on her own. Caylee Turner, the younger sister of the former WWE Divas Champion Alicia Fox, then makes her way to the ring and immediately confronts Jennifer. Caylee Turner tells Jennifer that she doesn’t know if she was talking about her earlier, but Caylee Turner says that she is not only here because her sister is Alicia Fox. Caylee says that she has proven over the last few months that she has what it takes to make it on her own. Jennifer says that she’s been watching, and she hasn’t seen anything to make Caylee seem remotely interesting yet. Jennifer then slaps Caylee and the pair get into a catfight that has to be separated by NXT officials as NXT heads to a commercial break.

Rating: D

Nick Rogers versus Brad Maddox versus Calvin Raines

Nick Rogers defeated Brad Maddox and Calvin Raines in 8.05 in a Triple Threat match after pinning Calvin Raines following a DDT. The NXT Universe inside the NXT Arena tonight do not know much about any of these competitors and ultimately it was the biggest unknown, Nick Rogers, who picked up the victory here.

Match Rating: F+

Following a commercial break we cut backstage to find the NXT Champion Seth Rollins walking down the corridor in anticipation of his tag team match when he is confronted by Julius Smokes. Rollins is immediately apprehensive but Julius tells Rollins that he just wants to talk to him. Julius Smokes says that months ago on NXT both he and Joey Matthews were introduced to the NXT Universe as members of the Wyatt Family, but that in the past few weeks Bray Wyatt has abandoned his family to tour in front of the WWE Universe with the Monday Night RAW roster. Smokes says that he needs somebody else to follow. Rollins looks confused and continues down the hallway. However, Julius Smokes follows Seth Rollins and confronts him once again. Julius Smokes tells Rollins that he’s heard the NXT Universe inside the NXT Arena in recent weeks; they’ve shown Seth Rollins no respect. Julius Smokes continues that even the NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes has seemingly lost faith in Seth Rollins as once again, for the third week in a row, Seth Rollins is not competing in the main event of NXT tonight. Julius Smokes says that if Seth Rollins allows Julius Smokes to guide him then he will once again be the leading force in NXT, just as he deserves to be. Smokes tells Rollins that he deserves to be main eventing every episode of NXT, not one-trick ponies from England like PAC or people who are only here because of who their fathers were like Jake Carter. Julius Smokes says that Bray Wyatt was only with him for a few months before he was taken by Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero to tour with the Monday Night RAW roster. Julius Smokes tells Rollins that he knows that in the past he has claimed that he wants to remain on NXT for as long as he is the NXT Champion, but if Dusty Rhodes and the NXT Universe aren’t treating Rollins with the respect he deserves then maybe he should go to Monday Night RAW or Friday Night SmackDown now. Julius Smokes says that being a gangster from the streets, he may not have much in common with Seth Rollins and his dark grunge lifestyle, however he does have connections to the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T. Rollins tells Julius Smokes that he’ll think about it, but for now he is only focused on getting back on track by winning his tag team match, which is next.

NXT Champion Seth Rollins & Xavier Woods vs. Derrick Bateman & Percy Watson

Derrick Bateman and Percy Watson defeated Seth Rollins and Xavier Woods in 11.09 after Derrick Bateman pinned Xavier Woods following a Crossbody from the top rope. The NXT Champion Seth Rollins teamed with Xavier Woods tonight and the pair dominated the majority of the match until Bateman and Percy Watson began to take control and Rollins seemingly had enough as he left Woods to fend for himself. Woods then got pinned by Bateman.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars:

Richie Steamboat versus Primo

The main event of tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars will see singles action as the son of the legendary WWE Hall of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, Richie Steamboat, will take on Puerto Rico’s own Primo. The WWE Universe have really taken to Richie Steamboat since he made his debut on Monday Night RAW back in January this year in a losing effort against the former WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro. Richie Steamboat spent the majority of last year competing in front of the NXT Universe inside the NXT Arena on NXT, and competed in his last match in NXT last October when he teamed up with the NXT Champion Seth Rollins to defeat the team of Calvin Raines and Big E Langston. Richie Steamboat, the Second Generation Superstar, has been primarily competing in tag team action with his Japanese tag team partner Fatsuhiko Nakajima as of late, and the pair have been dubbed the “Oriental Dragons” by many members of the WWE Universe. Both the Godfather as well as WCW legend Norman Smiley regularly accompany Steamboat and Nakajima to the ring and it is likely that either Smiley or the Godfather will accompany Steamboat to the ring for tonight’s main event of WWE Superstars. Primo is also primarily a tag team competitor, teaming up with his cousin Epico under the guidance of their beautiful Latino manager Rosa Mendes. Both Steamboat and Primo would therefore love the opportunity to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championships in the near future with their respective partners, and a singles victory tonight on WWE Superstars for either Superstar could well lead to the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero or the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T giving them a future title shot. The current WWE Tag Team Champions are the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow and they will look to make the first successful defence of their WWE Tag Team Championships this Sunday at Wrestlemania when they take on the twin brother pairing of Jimmy and Jey Uso as well as the team of Roman Reigns and William Regal in a Triple Threat tag team match. Richie Steamboat is yet to hold gold in the WWE however his opponent tonight, Primo, is a former three-time WWE Tag Team Champion. Primo most recently held the WWE Tag Team Championships from January to April of last year with his cousin Epico and is also a former two-time WWE Tag Team Champion with his brother Carlito. Like Richie Steamboat, Primo is also a Second Generation Superstar as his father is the legendary Puerto Rican competitor Carlos Colon. Tonight will be the third time that Primo and Richie Steamboat have faced one another in the main event of WWE Superstars after Primo defeated Richie Steamboat for two weeks in a row last month on Superstars. Primo would love to make it a hat-trick of singles wins over Steamboat tonight.

Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara versus Hunico and Camacho

Also tonight on WWE Superstars we will see tag team action as the high-flying duo of Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara will take on the team of Hunico and Camacho. Rey Mysterio has seemingly taken Sin Cara under his ring in recent months and seems to see himself as a mentor for Sin Cara. Both Mysterio and Sin Cara regularly entertain the WWE Universe with their high-flying exploits. Both of these young tag teams would also love a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships in the future and will be going all-out to pick up the all-important victory tonight on WWE Superstars to potentially gain the attention of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T.

Layla versus Aksana

Finally, Divas action tonight on WWE Superstars will see the former WWE Divas Champion Layla take on Askana. Layla has made it clear to the WWE Universe in recent weeks her loyalty to the WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn, as the pair are very good friends. This Sunday at Wrestlemania Kaitlyn will put the Divas Championship on the line against Tamina. There seems to be chaos in the Divas division on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown as of late with RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero recently introducing her daughter Raquel Diaz and SmackDown General Manager Booker T unable to stop constant assaults on Kaitlyn and Layla.

Richie Steamboat versus Primo

Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara versus Hunico and Camacho

WWE Superstars (Live from Hammerstein Ballroom (NY), 2,600 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Naomi versus Kharma

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Kharma defeated Naomi in 17:49 by pinfall with a Flying Splash. The highly athletic Naomi was really off her game tonight which allowed the much bigger Kharma to pick up the all-important victory.

Match Rating: D-

Pre-Show: Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu versus The Ascension

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Trent & Yoshi defeated The Ascension in 18:30 when Yoshi Tatsu defeated Conor O'Brian by pinfall with a Gobstopper Knee. Unfortunately this match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved with the WWE Universe in attendance still not caring much about the Ascension pairing of Conor O’Brian and Kenneth Cameron despite them competing in several matches on Friday Night SmackDown over the past six months.

Match Rating: E+

Pre-Show: Alexander Rusev versus Big E Langston

In an absolutely wretched bout that was devoid of action or heat, Big E Langston defeated Alexander Rusev in 17:55 by pinfall. Alexander Rusev was visibly tiring towards the end of this match which allowed Big E Langston to pick up the win.

Match Rating: F-

Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara versus Hunico and Camacho

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Mysterio & Cara defeated Hunico & Camacho in 7:16 when Sin Cara defeated Camacho by pinfall with a 619. The WWE Superstars commentary team of Josh Mathews, Joey Styles and Matt Striker note that both of these teams would love the opportunity to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championships in the future.

Match Rating: C

Following a commercial break WWE Superstars airs the RAW Rebound which recaps events from this past week’s edition of Monday Night RAW. The show began with CM Punk making his way to the ring to a chorus of boos from the WWE Universe in attendance. The WWE Champion CM Punk proclaimed that once again WWE management were favouring John Cena as Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero put Punk in the evening’s non-title main event against Alex Riley whilst John Cena was once again given the night off from in-ring competition. Punk said that this Sunday at Wrestlemania he will defeat John Cena in the evening’s main event to retain his WWE Championship and that even though Cena outlasted twenty-nine other WWE Superstars from both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown to win the Royal Rumble match, none of the participants in the Royal Rumble match are capable of tying Punk’s boots. Paul Heyman’s other client, Brock Lesnar, then joined Punk in the ring and said that he will defeat and hurt Chris Jericho in their match this Sunday at Wrestlemania. Later in the evening AJ Lee confronted John Cena in the ring and said that the pair could be the biggest power couple in the WWE, but Cena was focused on his match with Punk at Wrestlemania and said that he was not interested in AJ and her alliance with Vickie Guerrero. We saw Alex Riley in the locker-room when Brock Lesnar attacked Riley as Punk and Heyman looked on gleefully. Punk would then defeat Riley in the evening’s main event.

Rating: B

Layla versus Aksana

In an extremely short match, Layla defeated Aksana in 2:40 by pinfall with a Lay-Out. The Number One Contender to the Divas Championship this Sunday at Wrestlemania Tamina accompanied Aksana to ringside.

Match Rating: D+

Further highlights are shown from this past week’s edition of Monday Night RAW as Antonio Cesaro made his way to the ring and told the WWE Universe that this Sunday at Wrestlemania he and Kassius Ohno, the self-proclaimed Kings of Wrestling, will defeat the Rock and Mick Foley, also known as the Rock ‘n’ Sock Connection. Randy Orton then made his way to the ring and hit Cesaro with an RKO. This Sunday at Wrestlemania Randy Orton will take on the Big Show. Orton has been taking his frustrations out on RAW recently as he has been banned from Friday Night SmackDown by the General Manager Booker T.

Rating: B

Highlights are shown from last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown as the show began with the World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler making his way to the ring and declaring to the WWE Universe that at Wrestlemania he will defeat Alberto Del Rio to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. Alberto Del Rio and his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez then came to the ring and once again attacked Dolph Ziggler. Sheamus made his way to the entrance-way but once again failed to help Ziggler and allowed the attack to continue. Once Del Rio and Rodriguez had finished their attack Sheamus entered the ring and proclaimed that he will defeat the Undertaker at Wrestlemania to end the Undertaker’s Wrestlemania undefeated streak. The Big Show came to the ring later in the evening and proclaimed that at Wrestlemania he will defeat Randy Orton and that he would also defeat Dolph Ziggler in the evening’s non-title main event. However Ziggler beat the Big Show in the main event. A tweet is then shown from Booker T announcing tomorrow night’s main event of Ziggler and Ted DiBiase taking on the Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel and Alberto Del Rio.

Rating: B

Richie Steamboat versus Primo

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Primo defeated Richie Steamboat in 7:48 by pinfall with a Backstabber. Norman Smiley accompanied Steamboat to the ring.

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Uncle Elgin defeated Leo Kruger in 12:45 by submission with a Crossface. Unfortunately the WWE Universe in attendance were totally turned off during this match.

Match Rating: F

Post-Show: Inaomichi Marufuji versus Erick Rowan

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Erick Rowan defeated Inaomichi Marufuji in 13:25 by pinfall. This match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown!:

World Champ Dolph Ziggler & Ted DiBiase vs. IC Champ Curtis Axel & Del Rio

The main event for tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown was announced via a tweet sent out from the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T earlier this week and will see the World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler team up with the “Fortunate Son” Ted DiBiase to take on the team of the WWE Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel and the Number One Contender to the World Heavyweight Championship, Alberto Del Rio. At Wrestlemania this Sunday Dolph Ziggler will put the World Heavyweight Championship on the line against the “Mexican Aristocrat” Alberto Del Rio. For the past few weeks on Friday Night SmackDown Dolph Ziggler has gained the sympathies of the WWE Universe after he has been attacked several times by Alberto Del Rio and his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez. For the past three weeks Del Rio and his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez have come to the ring to interrupt the World Heavyweight Champion and have launched a vicious attack on him and the “Celtic Warrior” has come to the entrance-way on every occasion but failed to help Ziggler. This Sunday at Wrestlemania Sheamus will take on the Undertaker with the Undertaker’s legendary Wrestlemania undefeated streak on the line after the Undertaker accepted the challenge of the “Celtic Warrior” earlier this month in a video played on Monday Night RAW. Instead of Sheamus helping Ziggler in recent weeks the former World Champion has claimed that he is only focused on one thing, and only cares about himself now, and that is him defeating the Undertaker at Wrestlemania. Dolph Ziggler became the new World Heavyweight Champion for the second time last month on Friday Night SmackDown following a gruelling non-title main event between then World Champion Sheamus and then Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett. Sheamus was able to defeat Barrett but after the match had finished the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, then the associate of Dolph Ziggler, came to the entrance-way and announced that Ziggler was cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase. Ziggler would then go on to defeat Sheamus in a matter of minutes to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Since then the relationship between Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero seems to have ended as Vickie seems to now be more focused on her daughter Raquel Diaz who made her in-ring WWE debut on Monday Night RAW a few weeks ago. Ziggler’s match with Del Rio this Sunday at Wrestlemania will be his second title defence after he defeated Sheamus at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View last month in what was the “Celtic Warrior’s” contractually obligated rematch clause. Also at Wrestlemania this Sunday the WWE Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel will put his title on the line for the second time as he faces the challenge of Ted DiBiase. Curtis Axel became the Intercontinental Champion for the very first time last month on Friday Night SmackDown when he defeated the former Champion Wade Barrett in a Triple Threat match also involving R-Truth.

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champs Team Rhodes Scholars vs. Mysterio & Sin Cara

Also tonight on Friday Night SmackDown the WWE Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow, collectively known as Team Rhodes Scholars, will be in action as they will take on the team of Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara in a non-title match. This Sunday at Wrestlemania Rhodes and Sandow will put the titles on the line for the very first time as they take on the twin brothers pairing of Jimmy and Jey Uso as well as the team of Roman Reigns and William Regal in a Triple Threat tag team match.

Jey Uso versus The Big Show

This Sunday at Wrestlemania the Big Show will be in action against the “Viper” Randy Orton but before that he must take on Jey Uso tonight on Friday Night SmackDown. Jey Uso will also be in action at Wrestlemania this Sunday as he will join his twin brother Jimmy in challenging Team Rhodes Scholars, the team of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow, for the WWE Tag Team Championships in a Triple Threat tag team match also involving the team of Roman Reigns and William Regal.

Kane versus Mark Henry

Two huge former World Heavyweight Champions will go head to head tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as the “Big Red Monster” Kane will take on the “World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry. Both Kane and Henry are currently not set to be in action this Sunday at Wrestlemania so both men will want to do all they can to pick up the all-important victory tonight.

R-Truth versus Abraham Washington

The unpredictable and charismatic R-Truth will also be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as he will take on Abraham Washington, the loud mouthed manager of the Prime Time Players, Darren Young and Titus O’Neil.

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn versus Aksana

Finally, Divas action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see the WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn take on Aksana in a non-title match. This Sunday at Wrestlemania Kaitlyn will put her Divas title on the line against Tamina, the daughter of the legendary Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka. The WWE Universe has seen Kaitlyn and her friend Layla attacked several times in recent weeks on SmackDown as Tamina has looked on gleefully as other Divas attack Kaitlyn and Layla. A win for Askana tonight could see her get a future title opportunity after Wrestlemania if she does enough to impress SmackDown General Manager Booker T.

Quick Picks:

World Champ Dolph Ziggler & Ted DiBiase vs. IC Champ Curtis Axel & Del Rio

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champs Team Rhodes Scholars vs. Mysterio & Sin Cara

Jey Uso versus The Big Show

Kane versus Mark Henry

R-Truth versus Abraham Washington

WWE Friday Night SmackDown! (Live from Idaho Center Amphitheater (ID), 10,500 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Layla versus Portia Perez

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Layla defeated Portia Perez in 17:47 by pinfall with a Face Lift. Unfortunately this match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved with the WWE Universe in attendance not knowing too much about Portia Perez despite her competing in a few matches on Friday Night SmackDown.

Match Rating: D+

Pre-Show: Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd versus Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Slater & McIntyre defeated Justin Gabriel & Tyson Kidd in 17:53 when Heath Slater defeated Tyson Kidd by pinfall with a Futureshock DDT. Heath Slater was really off his game tonight however the 3MB pairing of Slater and McIntyre were still able to pick up the all-important victory here after Slater pinned Kidd after McIntyre had hit him with the Futureshock DDT.

Match Rating: C+

Pre-Show: Kofi Kingston versus Big E Langston

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Kofi Kingston defeated Big E Langston in 17:56 by pinfall with a Trouble in Paradise. This match was far too long given who was involved with the WWE Universe not knowing anything about Big E Langston.

Match Rating: E

Friday Night SmackDown begins with the World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler making his way to the ring to a mixed reaction from the WWE Universe in attendance. Ziggler immediately retrieves a microphone from the ringside area and says that this Sunday at Wrestlemania he will defeat Alberto Del Rio to retain his World Heavyweight Championship. Ziggler says that he will also beat Del Rio tonight in tag team action as General Manager Booker T has made tonight’s main event as Ziggler teaming with Ted DiBiase to take on the team of Del Rio and the Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel. Ziggler says that he is aware that he is by himself now as he no longer has the backing of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero who is now focused on the career of her daughter Raquel Diaz. Once again Alberto Del Rio and his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez rush to the ring and the pair attack Ziggler. Rodriguez holds Ziggler whilst Del Rio repeatedly kicks the World Champion in the skull. The music of the “Celtic Warrior” Sheamus then hits the arena but once again Sheamus fails to help Ziggler and instead slowly makes his way to the ring. Del Rio and Rodriguez eventually finish their beat down and head to the back whilst Sheamus picks up the microphone and says that he will end the Undertaker’s undefeated streak this Sunday. SmackDown then heads to a commercial break.

Rating: B

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn versus Aksana

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Kaitlyn defeated Aksana in 6:04 by pinfall with an Atomic Wedgie Bomb. Kaitlyn was really off her game tonight but was still able to get the win here.

Match Rating: D-

Following her victory the Divas Champion Kaitlyn celebrates in the ring in front of the WWE Universe and is joined in celebration by her friend Kaitlyn. Tamina then comes to the entrance-way and says that this Sunday she will beat Kaitlyn to become the new Divas Champion and now wants to introduce Kaitlyn and Layla to some of her friends. Paige and Eve then rush to the ring and attack Kaitlyn and Layla.

Rating: D+

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champs Team Rhodes Scholars vs. Mysterio & Sin Cara

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, Team Rhodes Scholars defeated Mysterio & Cara in 7:56 when Damien Sandow defeated Rey Mysterio by pinfall with a Cross Rhodes. Cody Rhodes seemed off his game tonight but was still able to hit Mysterio with the Cross Rhodes and tag in his partner Sandow who pinned Mysterio to pick up the win.

Match Rating: C

We cut backstage to find Ted DiBiase preparing for tonight’s tag team main event when he will team with the World Champion Dolph Ziggler to take on Curtis Axel and Del Rio when the Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel rushes into the room and throws DiBiase into the locker.

Rating: C+

Jey Uso versus The Big Show

In a match that had some good action and average heat, The Big Show defeated Jey Uso in 8:09 by pinfall with a Choke Slam. Alicia Fox accompanied Jey Uso to the ring.

Match Rating: B-

(John Laurinaitis feels that the fans have become a little bored with the Big Show and perhaps a turn or a gimmick change would freshen him up and give him a boost.)

Following a commercial break we cut backstage to find Alicia Fox in conversation with Jimmy Uso. Jimmy asks where his brother is and Alicia says that he is angry after his loss. Jimmy says that Jey needs to get over it and look towards Sunday.

Rating: C-

The following contests are confirmed to take place at tonight’s WWE Wrestlemania 29 Pay-Per-View:

WWE Championship: CM Punk © versus 2013 Royal Rumble Winner John Cena

The main event of Wrestlemania tonight will see CM Punk put the WWE Championship on the line against the winner of the 2013 Royal Rumble match, John Cena. CM Punk has claimed in recent weeks on Monday Night RAW that the WWE management, especially Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, are biased towards John Cena as Cena hasn’t competed on RAW for over a month whereas CM Punk has main evented every episode of RAW so far this year. However, CM Punk has also declared to the WWE Universe recently that despite Cena outlasting twenty-nine other WWE Superstars from both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown to win the Royal Rumble match back in January, none of the other participants in the Royal Rumble match were worthy of tying Punk’s boots.

World Heavyweight Championship: Dolph Ziggler © versus Alberto Del Rio

The World Heavyweight Championship will also be on the line tonight as Dolph Ziggler will look to make the second successful defence of his title as he faces the challenge from Alberto Del Rio. Ziggler became the World Champion for the second time in his career last month on Friday Night SmackDown when Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero came to the entrance-way following a non-title match between then World Champion Sheamus and Wade Barrett and announced to the WWE Universe that Ziggler was cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase. Ziggler would then defeat Sheamus in a matter of minutes to become the new World Champion.

WWE Tag Team Titles: Team Rhodes Scholars © vs. The Uso’s vs. Reigns & Regal

The WWE Tag Team Championships will be defended tonight by the Team Rhodes Scholars pairing of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow for the first time since becoming the new WWE Tag Team Champions for the very first time as a team last month at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View. Rhodes and Sandow defeated the former Champions, the Team Hell No pairing of Kane and Daniel Bryan, as well as the team of Roman Reigns and William Regal to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions in a Triple Threat tag team match. Tonight the titles will be defended in another Triple Threat tag team match against the Uso’s as well as Reigns and Regal.

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Curtis Axel © versus Ted DiBiase

Last month on Friday Night SmackDown Curtis Axel became the new WWE Intercontinental Champion as he defeated the former Champion Wade Barrett as well as R-Truth in a Triple Threat match. Tonight Curtis Axel will put the title on the line for the second time against Ted DiBiase.

WWE US Championship: Dean Ambrose © vs. Santino Marella vs. Zack Ryder

Dean Ambrose will defend his WWE United States Championship in a Triple Threat match tonight against two former United States Champions in Santino Marella and Zack Ryder. Dean Ambrose won the title for the first time in his career last month on Monday Night RAW.

The Undertaker versus Sheamus

The Undertaker will put his legendary undefeated streak on the line tonight at Wrestlemania as he faces the challenge of the “Celtic Warrior” Sheamus. The WWE Universe are likely to be fully behind the “Phenom” in this one.

The Rock ‘n’ Sock Connection versus The Kings of Wrestling

At last month’s WWE Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View the Rock came to the ring and publicly challenged the Kings of Wrestling duo of Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno to a tag team match at Wrestlemania against the Rock and Mick Foley, otherwise known as the Rock ‘n’ Sock Connection. Foley’s participation was finally confirmed this past week on Monday Night RAW.

Chris Jericho versus Brock Lesnar

The “Beast” Brock Lesnar will be in action tonight as he will take on “Y2J” in singles competition. The WWE Universe has witnessed Brock Lesnar attack many Superstars backstage recently on Monday Night RAW including Evan Bourne and Alex Riley. Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero does not typically have Lesnar compete on RAW, likely for fear that he will seriously injure somebody. Will Lesnar damage Y2J tonight?

Randy Orton versus The Big Show

Two former World Heavyweight Champions will go head to head tonight as the “Viper” Randy Orton will take on the “World’s Largest Athlete” the Big Show. Randy Orton has been taking out his aggressions on Monday Night RAW as of late, much to the delight of the WWE Universe who always love to witness an RKO. Orton has been banned from Friday Night SmackDown by General Manager Booker T after constantly brawling with the Big Show on SmackDown for the last several months. A victory for either of these Superstars could lead to Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero giving them a shot at the WWE Championship somewhere down the line.

WWE Divas Championship: Kaitlyn © versus Tamina

Finally, Kaitlyn will put her WWE Divas Championship on the line tonight against Tamina. In recent weeks on Friday Night SmackDown the WWE Universe has witnessed several Divas attacking Kaitlyn and her friend Layla as Tamina has looked on with glee on the entrance-way.

Quick Picks:

WWE Championship: CM Punk © versus 2013 Royal Rumble Winner John Cena

World Heavyweight Championship: Dolph Ziggler © versus Alberto Del Rio

WWE Tag Team Titles: Team Rhodes Scholars © vs. The Uso’s vs. Reigns & Regal

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Curtis Axel © versus Ted DiBiase

WWE US Championship: Dean Ambrose © vs. Santino Marella vs. Zack Ryder

The Undertaker versus Sheamus

The Rock ‘n’ Sock Connection versus The Kings of Wrestling

Chris Jericho versus Brock Lesnar

Randy Orton versus The Big Show

WWE Divas Championship: Kaitlyn © versus Tamina

(Predictions are welcomed, there will be a prediction contest held every month. This is the final show of this month’s contest and the overall winner will be able to pick the challenger for the WWE Championship at the upcoming WWE Over The Limit Pay-Per-View!)

http://cdn2.khloekcdn.celebuzz.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/WWE-Monday-Night-Raw-580x326.jpg

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

Non-Title: WWE Champion CM Punk versus Kane

The main event of tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW will see the WWE Champion CM Punk in action as he will take on the “Big Red Monster” Kane in a non-title match. Last night in the main event of Wrestlemania CM Punk shocked many members of the WWE Universe when he once again successfully retained his WWE Championship against the winner of the 2013 Royal Rumble match, John Cena. In the weeks leading up to Wrestlemania the self-proclaimed “Best in the World” CM Punk was telling anyone that would listen that although John Cena outlasted twenty-nine other WWE Superstars from both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown to win the Royal Rumble match back in January, none of the participants in the Royal Rumble match were worthy of tying Punk’s boots. Many believed that John Cena would have the advantage heading into Wrestlemania last night but Paul Heyman’s client CM Punk overcame the odds to retain his title. Many thought that because Cena has not competed on Monday Night RAW in over a month whereas CM Punk has competed on every episode of RAW this year that Cena would have the advantage as the fresher man. CM Punk had been complaining prior to Wrestlemania last night of bias towards John Cena from WWE management, including the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. Cena is once again not in action tonight whereas CM Punk will once again compete in the main event of the evening against Kane. The former World Heavyweight Champion Kane was not in action at Wrestlemania last night although he did compete in the pre-show match that was shown exclusively on WWE.com which saw Kane and his tag team partner Daniel Bryan, known as Team Hell No to the WWE Universe, defeat the young upstart team of Peter Orlov and Mike Dalton. This is Kane’s first match on Monday Night RAW in over six months as he has primarily been competing on Friday Night SmackDown as of late. The masked Kane will not be an easy challenge for CM Punk tonight by any means, as Kane is a former WWE Champion and a former World Heavyweight Champion. Kane won his only World Heavyweight Championship three years ago after winning the Money in the Bank ladder match in July of 2010 and cashing in the briefcase on the very same tonight to defeat Rey Mysterio and become the new World Champion. Kane was also a holder of the now defunct ECW Championship as well as the WWE Hardcore Championship. Kane held the WCW Tag Team Championships on one occasion with his brother the Undertaker and is also a former two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion. It may be in the tag team division that Kane has had the most success as of late and he is a former eleven-time WWE Tag Team Champion, having held the titles most recently with Daniel Bryan and also holding them with his brother the Undertaker on two occasions, with Mick Foley on two occasions, twice with the Big Show, twice with X-Pac, once with the Hurricane and once with Rob Van Dam.

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions Reigns & Regal versus Team CoBro

Also tonight on Monday Night RAW we will see tag team action as the new WWE Tag Team Champions Roman Reigns and William Regal will take on the “Team CoBro” pairing of Santino Marella and Zack Ryder in a non-title match. Last night at Wrestlemania Reigns and Regal defeated the former WWE Tag Team Champions Team Rhdoes Scholars, the team of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow, as well as the Uso’s in a Triple Threat tag team match to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions for the very first time.

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose versus Ryback

Last night at Wrestlemania Dean Ambrose made the first successful defence of his WWE United States Championship when he defeated both Santino Marella as well as Zack Ryder in a Triple Threat match. Tonight on Monday Night RAW Dean Ambrose will be in non-title action against Ryback.

Chris Jericho versus Tensai

“Y2J” Chris Jericho will also be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he seeks retribution against Tensai. Last night at Wrestlemania Brock Lesnar defeated Chris Jericho and then later in the evening when Jericho was in the locker-room he was distracted by Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero for long enough that Brock Lesnar, Jack Swagger and Tensai could attack Jericho as Vickie and Paul Heyman looked on. The WWE Universe will likely be fully behind Jericho tonight as he seeks revenge against one of his attackers.

Batista versus Jack Swagger

As Chris Jericho was attacked backstage last night at Wrestlemania by Brock Lesnar, Jack Swagger and Tensai with Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and Paul Heyman looking on, Batista and John Cena must have heard the commotion as they came to Jericho’s aid. Tonight on RAW Batista will take on Jack Swagger seeking revenge on the part of Chris Jericho. Batista has failed to gain too many big victories since his return a few months ago and will be hoping that he can impress the WWE Universe with an all-important victory tonight.

Emma versus Raquel Diaz

Finally, Divas action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see the daughter of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, Raquel Diaz, in action as she will take on Emma. Last night at Wrestlemania Kaitlyn defeated Tamina to retain the Divas Championship but was attacked after the match by AJ Lee and Paige.

Quick Picks:

Non-Title: WWE Champion CM Punk versus Kane

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions Reigns & Regal versus Team CoBro

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose versus Ryback

Chris Jericho versus Tensai

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://wrestlingnewsandviews.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/nxt.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE NXT:</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>

<strong>NXT Championship: Seth Rollins © versus Bo Dallas</strong></p><p>

The main event of tonight’s edition of WWE NXT will see the first ever NXT Champion Seth Rollins put his NXT Championship on the line against the Third Generation Superstar known as Bo Dallas. The son of Mike Rotunda, also known to many as I.R.S, has impressed many within the NXT Universe in recent weeks with his performances. Although he was unable to defeat Xavier Woods in the main event of NXT two weeks ago, Bo Dallas was impressive and the NXT Universe inside the NXT Arena clearly felt that Bo Dallas put on a good showing. NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes has seemingly been just as impressed with Bo Dallas as of late and is rewarding him with a shot at the NXT Championship tonight. Tonight’s main event is a rematch of the NXT main event four weeks ago on NXT when Seth Rollins defeated Bo Dallas in non-title action. That was the last time that Seth Rollins competed in the main event of NXT despite being the NXT Champion and many believe that the NXT Universe as well as Dusty Rhodes are turning their backs on Seth Rollins. Last week on NXT Julius Smokes confronted Seth Rollins about this backstage, claiming that if Rollins joins Julius Smokes then together they can go to the promised land and Rollins can compete in front of the WWE Universe on either Monday Night RAW or Friday Night SmackDown. Julius Smokes told Rollins that in just a few weeks with Bray Wyatt, Julius Smokes taught him how to be street smart and now Bray Wyatt is competing on Monday Night RAW. Smokes told Rollins that he has contact with both Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T and although Julius Smokes is a gangster and Rollins is a follower of dark grunge, together they can put their differences behind them, leave NXT behind them and dominate the WWE. Seth Rollins told Julius Smokes that he would think about it, but for now he had to focus on his tag team match. Seth Rollins and his partner Xavier Woods would then lose their tag team match to the team of Derrick Bateman and Percy Watson last week after Seth Rollins walked out on Xavier Woods. Seth Rollins is the first ever NXT Champion having won the title by virtue of winning the “Gold Rush” tournament last summer to crown the first ever NXT Champion, defeating now 3MB member Jinder Mahal in the tournament finals. Seth Rollins has made nine successful title defences since winning the title over seven months ago, firstly defeating Michael McGuillicutty, now known as Curtis Axel, to make his first title defence. The second title defence that Rollins made was on NXT in a Fatal Four-Way match against William Regal, Briley Pierce and Percy Watson. Seth Rollins made his third title defence with a victory over one half of the Ascension, Conor O’Brian. Rollins would then defeat Alexander Rusev to make his fourth title defence, and retained the title for the fifth time in a Triple Threat match against William Regal and Xavier Woods. Rollins defeated Xavier Woods last December to make his sixth successful title defence and the next week on NXT would defeat Alexander Rusev, DT Porter and Bray Wyatt in a Fatal Four-Way match to retain title title for the seventh time. The eighth defence of the NXT title came when Rollins defeated Bray Wyatt earlier this year and most recently Seth Rollins defeated Xavier Woods, DT Porter and Luke Harper in a Fatal Four-Way match to retain the title for the ninth time. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>El Hijo de Rey Misterio versus Kenny King</strong></p><p>

Also tonight on NXT the NXT Universe inside the packed out NXT Arena will be treated to a match that will see two competitors make their NXT debut as El Hijo de Rey Misterio will take on Kenny King in singles competition. Both El Hijo de Rey Misterio as well as Kenny King are being given the opportunity to showcase their skills tonight on NXT by the NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes. For both of these competitors, the road to one day potentially competing in front of the NXT Universe starts here. With many higher ups of WWE management such as Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T regularly watching NXT looking for the next breakout star, both Misterio as well as King know that an all-important victory tonight in their debut match would make a terrific first impression. The masked El Hijo de Rey Misterio is the cousin of Rey Mysterio, the former World Heavyweight Champion and is a luchador that has been competing all over the world for six years. Kenny King is an eleven year pro that if rumours are true seems to be something of an egomaniac.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Kelly Kelly versus Christina Von Eerie</strong></p><p>

Finally, Divas action on tonight’s episode of NXT will see the former WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly make her NXT debut as she will take on Christina Von Eerie, who will also be making her in-ring NXT debut in front of the NXT Universe inside the NXT Arena tonight. The NXT Divas division is highly competitive already and with the former Divas Champion Kelly now competing on NXT it will be even harder for NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes to choose which Divas to give the chance to showcase every week. It is thought that Kelly has chosen to compete on NXT tonight due to the problems she has been experiencing with Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as of late.</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Quick Picks:</strong> </p><p>

NXT Championship: Seth Rollins © versus Bo Dallas</p><p>

WWE NXT (Live from the Johnny Lawrence Arena (FL), 1,287 in Attendance)

Kelly Kelly versus Christina Von Eerie

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Christina Von Eerie defeated Kelly Kelly in 8:26 by pinfall with a DDT. The NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes introduces the television audience to tonight’s episode of NXT. Dusty Rhodes, as well as being the NXT Commissioner, is also the sole NXT commentator after William Regal and Byron Saxton, the former NXT announcers, left to tour with the main WWE roster. William Regal is of course now one of the new WWE Tag Team Champions along with his tag team partner Roman Reigns following their victory this past Sunday at Wrestlemania. The NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes informs us that tonight’s main event will see the NXT Championship defended as the first ever NXT Champion Seth Rollins will put the title on the line against the Third Generation Superstar, the son of Mike “IRS” Rotunda, Bo Dallas. Christina Von Eerie then makes her way to the ring to a chorus of boos from the NXT Universe in attendance inside the almost sold out NXT Arena. This is Christina Von Eerie’s first ever appearance on NXT and the NXT Commissioner Dusty Rhodes notes that Christina Von Eerie is a big follower of dark grunge, just as is the NXT Champion Seth Rollins. Dusty Rhodes says that Christina Von Eerie will be competing in the NXT Divas division, a division that is growing more competitive by the day and has already produced Divas that are now competing in front of the WWE Universe on the main WWE roster such as Paige. Christina Von Eerie, as Dusty Rhodes mentioned, is clearly a big follower of dark grunge and is wearing an entirely black spandex costume in which to compete in. Dusty Rhodes notes that Christina Von Eerie is a twenty-three year old Diva who has been competing professionally on the independent circuit for the last three years. Her opponent tonight, Kelly Kelly, the former WWE Divas Champion, then makes her way to the ring to a great ovation from the NXT Universe in attendance. Dusty Rhodes notes that Kelly told him earlier today that she has chosen to compete on NXT due to the blatant disregard showed towards her by the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, who has been ordering Divas to attack Kelly for several months now. Dusty also says that earlier today Kelly told him personally that she has had enough of being attacked and made a fool of, and she has come to NXT not just as a pretty face but as a Knock-Out Artist and is ready to start knocking people out. Dusty Rhodes notes during commentary of this match that both of these Divas would love to one day reach the heights of WWE Divas Champion, an accolade that Kelly has already held. Dusty Rhodes notes that this past Sunday at Wrestlemania the WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn defeated Tamina to successfully retain her Divas Championship only to be attacked following the match by AJ Lee and Paige, seemingly on the orders of Vickie Guerrero as Vickie watched on with glee. Rhodes notes that we may learn the future Number One Contender to the Divas Championship from Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T this Friday on SmackDown. In an upset victory, Christina Von Eerie picks up the all-important win here in her debut match.

El Hijo de Rey Misterio versus Kenny King

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Kenny King defeated El Hijo de Rey Misterio in 7:53 by pinfall with a TKO. Following a commercial break the NXT Commissioner, WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes welcomes the television audience back to NXT and El Hijo de Rey Misterio makes his way to the ring to a decent reaction from the NXT Universe in attendance inside the almost sold out NXT Arena. El Hijo de Rey Misterio is a masked luchador who is a twenty-four year old six year pro, and Dusty Rhodes notes that he is the cousin of the former World Heavyweight Champion who can often be seen entertaining the WWE Universe on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown, Rey Mysterio. His opponent tonight, from “Sin City” Las Vegas, Kenny King then makes his way to the ring and from his ring entrance immediately looks like an egomaniac. Dusty Rhode notes that King is thirty-one years old and is an eleven year pro. The match itself is a back and forth affair and Rhodes notes that tonight may well be the first time that WWE management such as Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero or Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T are seeing either of these competitors. Ultimately it is Kenny King that picks up the win here in his debut match on NXT after hitting El Hijo de Rey Misterio with a TKO.

NXT Championship: Seth Rollins © versus Bo Dallas

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Seth Rollins defeated Bo Dallas in 18:09 by pinfall with a Blackout. Seth Rollins makes his tenth defence of the NXT Championship. Following our final commercial break of the evening, NXT Commissioner the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, the WWE Hall of Famer, introduces us back to NXT for our main event. Seth Rollins then makes his way to the ring to a mixed reaction from the NXT Universe in attendance inside the almost sold out NXT Arena. Bo Dallas receives a better reaction and these two men put it all on the line in a match for the NXT Championship, currently held by Seth Rollins. Rhodes notes that Seth Rollins was promised fame and fortune and a chance to compete in front of the WWE Universe by Julius Smokes last week, but it is not yet clear what his decision will be. Rollins picked up the win tonight by himself and once again retained the NXT Championship.
