This is a must-play, IMO, and at that price even if you find it's not your thing you've wasted... what, the price of a beer? Space Engineers, £10.04. Not the best deal, and it's still in early access, but it's a really fun game. Basically think minecraft in space with better graphics. Not much of a discount though, so it's hardly a 'must buy' if you're not sure. Transistor, £11.24. Not much of a discount at all, but definitely worth the purchase, especially if you liked Bastion, the previous game by this developer (I happen to rate it in my top 3 games of all time, sooo yeah, I like Transistor too). Tropico 4, £2.24. If you don't intend on buying Tropico 5, this is virtually unmissable. However if it looks like the sort of game you'd enjoy, I'd say get Tropico 5 instead as it's very similar, but also a definite improvement (ie, there's zero reason to play 4 once you own 5). Community choices: System Shock 2 for £1.04. Buy buy buy. It's old as the hills now, but it's basically the game that BioShock came from, so if you like the Bioshock games you should like SS2. And it's a quid. Star Wars: KOTR2, £2.37. Another must-buy IMO if you're into Star Wars and Bioware RPGS (Mass Effect, Dragon Age), as.. well, it's a Star Wars RPG by Bioware. ¬_¬ Does look a bit dated now, but the storyline and gameplay still hold up. Don't mean to be an ass about this, but KOTOR 2 was made by Obsidian. I do agree that it's a must buy though. Also, because LucasArts made Obsidian rush the game, they had to cut a whole planet and several other dialogues. However, some intrepid modders have managed to find the code and voice-overs for the cut content and put it back in the game. Hive Posted June 27, 2014 Share Posted June 27, 2014 Dishonored is £2.49 too. Definitely worth picking up if you're into stealth games. Very good game. Brigmore Witches and Knife of Dunwall are great DLC too (but not the other two). Game looks cool, I think I'll get it in your recommendation (turns out I already had it on my Steam wishlist, but had completely forgotten and thus didn't notice it was on sale). I feel that my interest in games has been in downfall for some time and it really shows. Weird. Really weird. Am I getting .. old? EDIT: I'm actually saving money for Oculus Rift and possibly Virtuix Omni -treadmill aswell which might spark my interest back in gaming. Harmor Posted June 28, 2014 Share Posted June 28, 2014 <p>I mostly got rather cheap offers during this sale as I either have or don't want most games on offer, yet was still interested in some as you can see - I just got Baldur's Gate Enhanced I and II, earlier on Sins: Rebellion, Enslaved - Odyssey to the West, LA Noire complete, Endless Space w/Disharmony, the new Fallen Enchantress DLC as well as the old Thief games and the new one. </p><p> </p><p> Along with a whole lot of stuff I sold on the community market I spent around 50€ this sale give or take - that'll be it me thinks. I'll have a lot of time in the upcoming months, cause thanks to chemo treatment (it's all good!)
