NoNeck
Phantom Stranger is one of my favorite writers and his "Everybody Knows" has been consistently great throughout its entire run and gets my nod this month. I'm a professional lurker and wait for every post and it's one of my three subscriptions. http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=524659&page=
Kitarzu
I would like to nominate two C-Verse diaries. SWF:Generation Supreme by James Casey and ESE Eternal Suffering by Zergon. Keeping continuity and longevity, for more than 2 years for the SWF diary and 6 for the ESE one, it isn't an easy task. Both well long written diaries and both deserving a C-Verse DOTM win. angeldelayette
I believe that we should be up-to-date. Just a couple more days left to make your nominations known. So make sure to make your nominations.
BHK1978
I know people are not going to be fond of me for doing this, but isn't James Casey using the TEW10 version of the game for his diary (This is nothing against James and I am not sure if he converted it over to the 2013 game or not, if he did then what I am saying is moot.)? If that is the case, then you are being hypocritical here in allowing his diary to compete but not the other diary.
James Casey
BHK is correct, I'm still using 2010 for my diary. If 2005 (7/8) diaries are out, then so should mine be. I don't see an issue with including older TEW games (really, the game is just a vessel for the story) but whichever way it goes the rule should be consistent. I can understand that it is focused on a TEW game. My only issue is that if another game can be used then what is stopping someone from using a dynasty from, say, Wrestling Spirit here. And this award, in my mind, is to honor dynasties from the current incarnation of the game. So, right now, I am saying that it will most likely not be included since it is not on the TEW 2013 Dynasties forum.

If it's good, and someone wants to nominate, I don't see the harm in including it. There's no money on the line. This is just a fun and games popularity content. Unless it's going to have an unfair advantage in the voting (and it sounds like if anything it'll be at a disadvantage) where's the harm. You can still refuse WreSpi diaries in the future.
angeldelayette
Alright, after reading the debate on this issue, I have made the following decisions.

I will include the diary in this month's DOTM. However, next month, I will be amending the rules so that this issue does not come up again. I think that that is fair to everyone involved.

And, mistaken, you are correct in the fact that it's not the version of TEW being used, it's the forum placement. I did not want to open Pandora's box and have someone say 'okay, you allowed diary A in forum B, so why can't I nominate diary C in Forum D?' If it is kept simply to this forum, then there is no debate whatsoever. The rules were not clear on that, so that is why I am allowing the exception this month.

Perhaps, in the future, if there is enough interest, we can add a non-TEW or non-forum section to the DOTM. But for now I am simply trying to do what I believe is best for all involved and for the continued success of the DOTM. Remember that, while there is no money involved, there's no money toward me either. This is just something that I've enjoyed doing behind the scenes.

I need to re-write that rule, as well. Basically, it's that you have three nominations and at least one of them needs to be a monthly spotlight.
CPBHBK
My second Monthly spotlight vote is for WWF the Rise of the Empire, by Alavarus. Generic Heel 104
I'd like to give Secrets of the Ring IV: The Final Sacrifice a nod for Spotlight of the Month. I really like the characterization he does for the shoot interview portions of the diary. I'd also like to say that I think it's unnecessary to differentiate the nominations for TEW diaries between the different TEW games or forums. As long as it's a TEW game on one of the TEW forums here, it should be fine.
angeldelayette
It has been awhile since I made a nomination here so here comes one. I am nominating WCW '94: War of the Thrones by Beejus for Mod diary of the month. Though I have fallen woefully behind on making predictions for the diary, Beejus is a model of consistency. He continues to make great show after great show. His version of the Dungeon of Doom is an awesome take on the stable, in particular.

I wasn't feeling worth being nominated this month, but I so appreciate it! And predictions aren't done by any sort of model anymore, just the monthly ppv. So if you (or anyone else who would like to) get some in by next week when I post Slamboree, you're good
