15 minutes into the match:

Suddenly the lights go out.

The lights come back after few unforgiving moments when we see both Lejosne lying in a pool of blood and Sorensen missing from the arena.

Hi, guys i welcome myself back to GDS forums after a long time.

 


I am starting my favorite project which is the 2nd take of Hell's Army taking over GWS.

 


Last time it had generated some hype and i hope this time also it generates enough readership.

 


The other favorite part of my GWS diary, the Spotlight segments will also make a comeback where we give the prediction winner a chance to learn more about a promotion of his choice.

Hello and welcome to another edition of TEW Live Blog.

 


Last night came as a shock to everybody attending the GWS show when during the main event, the lights went out and when they returned, Lesojne was severely injured with "Hell's Army" glowing on the screen.

 


What or who is Hell's Army??

 


Every GWs and indy wrestling fan know about Hell's Army. But if you have been living under the rock for the last couple of years, let me refresh your mind.

 


Hell's Army was the most daredevil act to hit the indies after a long time.


Led by the Hell's Kitchen native, Ares, these fearful and devastating group of wrestlers took over the indy landscape for 2 full years.

 


The storyline became so popular that GWS stock rose from mere internet darlings to established regional company.

 


It took a returning Pierre Lejosne who was sent packing from GWS at the 1st place to halt the run when he defeated Ares in a Barbed Wire Steel Cage match to forever send him away from GWS.

 


But since, then GWS has never been the same. It was said that problems between Rosario brothers and then booker, Ares led to Ares quitting the promotion and bringing an end to one of the most impactful indy acts of recent years.

 


But after two years, the sudden appearance of the name in GWS arena has once again started rumours amongst the wrestling community. Is it a hoax to draw crowds?? Are Hell's Army really coming back?? Will Ares once again be a part of GWS??

 


Lot of unanswered questions which only time will tell but till then this is Anirban signing off. See you next time.

Ernesto: Welcome folks to Arizona. We have a blockbuster line-up of matches tonight and we hope you enjoy it..

 

Camilo: Yes right Ernesto, all the three titles will be on the line but we haven't yet confirmed who Blaize will be defending his title against.

 

Some party music starts as we see the Red Phoenix Champion, Blaize making his way into the ring.

Blaize: Hi Arizona!! Where's the party tonight?? I, the Red Phoenix champion is standing here and i have no opponents!! What a mistake!! But, don't worry you will not miss my talent as right now i throw an open challenge to whoever is in the back there to meet me head on.

 

At, that moment we see Brandon Morgan coming down from the entrance indicating that he has accepted the challenge. At the same time, however Blaize is blindsided by another figure who creeps inside the ring from behind. Further camera angles shows it to be Joey Devastation!!

In an extremely poor match, Joshua Blaize defeated Brandon Morgan and Joey Devastation in a Three Way Elimination match in 7:48; the order of elimination was Joey Devastation first, and then Brandon Morgan. Joshua Blaize makes defence number 3 of his GWS Red Phoenix title.

Grade: 23

 

Joshua Blaize held it's own against Morgan and Devastation when after beating down Blaize he tried to pin him but Morgan broke it up. Soon, Devastation was eliminated by Morgan through M-Factor 3000 but he himself got eliminated by Blaize.

 

Camilo: An emphatic win by Blaize. He steps in the right moment and takes the opportunity to retain the title..

 

Ernesto: We go backstage where Sierra is with Pierre

 

Sierre: So, Pierre thank you for giving us time for this interview.

 

Pierre: Always a pleasure.

 

Sierre: Tonight, you face Sorensen for the 2nd time in two months but the main question remains, has Hell's Army really come back??

 

Pierre: Well, i don't know but if they are really coming back it's not good news and i am little allergic towards any news which is bad.And just like last time, this time also i will be ready.

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Erik Wayne defeated Bear Zanev in 8:57 by pinfall with a Reality Hits You Hard.

 

Grade: 37

 

Zanev's dreams of getting back to win column did not quite materialised here as Wayne picked up a surprise win after hitting a Reality Hits You Hard out of nowhere

 

Once again we go backstage where we see the tag champions jiving to retro music and dancing weirdly which is not at all enjoyable to watch.

In an extremely poor match, That 70s Team defeated The Midnight Ravers in 10:52 when DISCO Fox defeated James O'Shea by pinfall with a That 70s Move. That 70s Team make defence number 6 of their GWS Top Militia titles.

 

Grade: 39

 

The four wild childs tried to make up a good match to watch but it wasn't to be. Finally, DISCO Fox ended the charade with That 70s Move to end the match.

 

 

Camilo: It's time for the main event..

 

Ernesto: Yes, 2nd time in a row Sorensen and Lesojne face off this time in a ladder match

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Pierre Lejosne defeated Shannon Sorensen in a Ladder match in 15:09 when Pierre Lejosne retrieved the item. Pierre Lejosne makes defence number 5 of his GWS People's Representative title.

 

Grade:59

 

A spectacular match once again between these two as they gave the fans a great main event. Sorensen tried many tricks using the ladder but the champion was stubborn. He took all the punishments and came back for more. The ending came when Sorensen tried his Springboard Splash from the top of ladder but Lejosne moved at the nick of time to send Sorensen crashing down. A Canadian Enforcement further knocked out Sorensen and after that it was all Lejosne who climbed up the ladder and retained his title.

 

But Lejosne's happiness couldn't last long as soon after he was celebrating on the top of ladder with the title in his hand suddenly, ropes started shooting down from the ceiling and tied Lejosne and suspended him in the mid air.

 

Few moments later, a thick smoke erupted in the middle of the ring and when it cleared, it was the man himself standing in the middle of the ring,

 

 

The darkness has arrived. The gates of Hell have been opened. Ares had arrived and he had suspended the champ in mid air.

 

 

SHOW GRADE: 50

Welcome to another edition of TEW Blogs by Anirban.

 

Finally, we all got to saw the man, The Hell's Native in person as he made a super impact on Warfare last night when he suspended Lesojne in the mid air minutes after Pierre had retained his title.

 

Also, the other two champs retained their titles without any major stumbles and Erik pulled of an upset win pinning Zanev who no doubt will be looking to bounce back in the near future.

 

With our big card, Liberating Your Mind just a week away we take a look at the card.

 

The tag champions face another tough task in retaining their titles when they take on former 3 time Top Militia Champions - Waveriders. Will it be another reign for the surfer boys??

 

Erik Wayne gets another major roadblock in his campaign when he faces Sorensen who is looking to bounce back after his failed attempt to win the top title.

 

Joshua Blaize faces Tony Ramos in a ladder match which we believe will be favoring the champ but don't rule our the power of Ramos.

 

The management has decided to give Ares a rough start when he is paired up with the hungry Bear Zanev and after toppling Sorensen, Pierre faces Rico Escobar
