FUYUHIKO and Nighthawk vs Skyward Sadness

The team of FUYUHIKO and Nighthawk were a sharp contrast to the depressive Skyward Sadness from the start, the high energy and all impact moves of Nighthawk crashing into the brick wall of headlocks and emotions of Simon McBain. FUYUHIKO didn’t fare much better, the ninja moves having lost any meaning once up against the overwhelming negativity from Toasty Bonnar. Toasty got the win for him and McBain with the one sole exciting move in his arsenal - the impressive Sky Toaster Press (Sky Twister Press). Snapping back into sad mode after referee Dávid Avatar raised their hands in victory, the Skyward Sadness duo sulked to the back whilst the pairing of FUYUHIKO and Nighthawk had words between them about the loss, FUYUHIKO walking away from Nighthawk with a look of frustration on his face.

Simon McBain and Toasty Bonnar defeated FUYUHIKO and Nighthawk in 7:43 when Toasty Bonnar defeated FUYUHIKO by pinfall with a Sky Toaster Press.

Adrian McGhee vs Blackwell Bush

A straight up beatdown as a furious Adrian McGhee showed Blackwell Bush no mercy at all. Battering his opponent from pillar to post and ended the match with the Bat Out of Hell. No post match beatdown on his opponent this time round with McGhee just stomping his way out of the venue altogether after the victory.

Demarcus Lee vs Whirlwind Lee Wilkes

Whirlwind took his opponent to school in the bout, deploying numerous holds and countering almost everything Demarcus could throw at him. Demarcus attempted to get himself disqualified with a chair attack but Whirlwind moved out of the way, leaving Demarcus to hit the chair off of the ropes and subsequently his own face. With the near unconscious Demarcus now easy pickings, Whirlwind locked in a nice tight sleeper hold to force the submission.

Whirlwind Lee Wilkes defeated Demarcus Lee in 7:40 by submission.

Chuck Everlasting vs Michel Bernard

Newcomer Chuck Everlasting fared slightly better than most of Bernard’s previous opponents. Surprising Bernard at the beginning, Chuck used simple moves to keep Bernard on the back foot. Chuck’s mistake was thinking he could keep Bernard on the ground. As soon as his back hit the mat, Bernard’s mixed martial arts training kicked in and he dominated the match. Sweeping Chuck to get him down to an even playing field, Bernard soon mounted Chuck and hammered away with blows almost forcing referee Dávid Avatar to interject - Bernard stopping the assault just before he was thrown out for excessive punishment. Chuck continued to frustrate Bernard, almost grabbing the surprise win with a close two count after he rolled over whilst Bernard was trying to lock in a rear naked choke hold - Bernard’s shoulders being on the mat for the brief two seconds. The end came soon after that though as an enraged Bernard transitioned into the Cross Armlock, Chuck tapping soon after. Bernard refused to release the hold post match, only giving up when Chuck let out an agonising wail of pain and screams of mercy.

Michel Bernard defeated Chuck Everlasting in 8:26 by submission with a Cross Armlock.

Joe Zucco vs Surfer Dude Lucas

Lucas was understandably wary making his entrance, not wanting to be surprise attacked by his nemesis Adrian McGhee. Zucco exploited this in the early goings, going wide eyed at times and pointing in different directions in an attempt to throw Lucas off of his game. It worked the first couple of times but Lucas quickly caught on and shook off the distractions. Zucco grew worried at this and ducked out of the ring, looking to spend as little time actually wrestling as possible. Instead of giving Zucco the satisfaction of the outside brawl, Lucas instead began to lean back and talk with referee Dávid Avatar, leading Zucco to charge back into the ring with accusations of bias towards him. Lucas threw the accusations out himself with a big shoulder tackle, followed up by a series of bodyslams, an airplane spin and finished up with the Spinning Angled Slam for the victory….

Surfer Dude Lucas defeated Joe Zucco in 12:30 by pinfall with a Spinning Angled Slam.

...a short lived victory as Adrian McGhee finally returned to the venue. With a chain wrapped fist, McGhee bludgeoned Lucas in the back of the head before picking up Lucas and dropping him with the Bat Out of Hell, McGhee leaving just as quickly as he arrived.

http://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g452/El_Scotcho/WILD/Lee%20Bawes.jpghttp://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g452/El_Scotcho/Definitely%20WORLD-1/LogosBannersBeltsWhistles/VS.pnghttp://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g452/El_Scotcho/WILD/Lorenzo%20Oliverio.jpghttp://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g452/El_Scotcho/Definitely%20WORLD-1/LogosBannersBeltsWhistles/VS.pnghttp://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g452/El_Scotcho/WILD/Trehawke%20Phillips.jpg

Lee Bawes vs Lorenzo Oliverio vs Trehawke Phillips

More of a handicap match to start off with as Oliverio’s mouth cashed a cheque his body couldn’t cash, Oliverio insulting both Bawes and Phillips to the point where the two men unofficially joined forces to bully Oliverio. The teamwork came to an end after Bawes deadlifted Phillips out of a cover on a prone Oliverio with an impressive german suplex, netting a close two count himself. From there on it was every man for himself, pin attempts a plenty from every man. Phillips soon found himself distracted by Oliverio’s cornerman Michel Bernard, eventually leaving the ring to deal with the Armbar King of WILD. Attempting to steal the win, Oliverio rolled Bawes up with a small package but didn’t quite get the result he intended when Bawes rolled through and continued to display his deadly suplexing abilities as Bawes deadlifted Oliverio and dropped him straight down with a Brainbuster for the win.

Lee Bawes defeated Lorenzo Oliverio and Trehawke Phillips in 8:01 when Lee Bawes defeated Lorenzo Oliverio by pinfall with a Brainbuster Suplex.

Bob Shrunkle vs Fuzzy Freeman

Bob Shrunkle had no time for Fuzzy’s antics, ambushing his opponent from behind as Fuzzy made his entrance. Using the early portion of the match to bully his smaller opponent, the mammoth 478lb Bob Shrunkle used outside of the ring to his advantage. Rolling into the ring at referee Dávid Avatar’s count of 9, Shrunkle threatened the new WILD official. Unfortunately for Shrunkle, Fuzzy’s Melon Magic™ allowed him to recover and enter the ring, dropkicking the knee of Shrunkle as his attentions were on the referee. Working over the base of Shrunkle, Fuzzy looked impressive as he utilised quick strikes and holds to keep the increasingly more angry big man on the ground. Pete Moriarty soon found himself involved in the proceedings, grabbing Fuzzy’s leg as he prepared to drop the Melon Bomber senton on Shrunkle. Shrunkle gained the upper hand here, grabbing Fuzzy and slamming him down from the second rope. Fuzzy continued to show incredibly fortitude, somehow taking all of Shrunkle’s attacks and gaining energy from them. Bob Shrunkle’s concentration was soon broken a

Throwing a tantrum in the ring, Shrunkle only noticed the rising Fuzzy Freeman as it was too late, Fuzzy throwing all of his energy behind a wicked running knee strike that knocked Bob for six before scaling to the second rope, leaping off with a Melon Bomber and scoring what many would consider to be an upset!

Fuzzy Freeman defeated Bob Shrunkle in 11:58 by pinfall with a Melon Bomber.

Bob Shrunkle continued his fit in the ring, angrily shouting at referee Dávid Avatar claiming he screwed him out of the win and going so far as to threaten him before the referee, in broken English, reminded him that he would be out of a job if he physically assaulted him. Bob left the ring unpleased.

Nighthawk & Whirlwind vs Skyward Sadness

Whirlwind directed the pace for his team, resulting in the best performance seen from Nighthawk in his WILD career. Both Simon McBain and Toasty Bonnar were unsure of how to react to the more focused Nighthawk and resorted to cheap tactics and quick teamwork to keep him grounded in the early goings. A flying hot tag was enough to change the tides of the match, Whirlwind coming in with pinpoint accuracy to incapacitate the Skyward Sadness pairing. With Simon furtherly incapacitated by Nighthawk on the outside, Whirlwind’s tight sleeper hold was enough to secure the victory for his team - Nighthawk’s first victory in WILD!

Whirlwind Lee Wilkes and Nighthawk defeated Simon McBain and Toasty Bonnar in 8:08 when Whirlwind Lee Wilkes defeated Toasty Bonnar by submission.

FUYUHIKO vs Joe Zucco

FUYUHIKO looked like he didn’t even want to be in the venue, sluggishly walking to ringside and barely acknowledging...anyone. Somehow this made Zucco the defacto face, an odd position for the borderline criminal to be in. The end result was a disjointed affair where FUYUHIKO would hit a move then roll out to the ringside to avoid doing further work. Zucco eventually forced him into the ring, hit a quick Winterlude and then a shoot pin to keep FUYUHIKO down for the three count.

Joe Zucco defeated FUYUHIKO in 7:46 by pinfall with a Winterlude.

Bernard & Oliverio vs Everlasting Bush

Bernard looked to be in no mood to play games, heading straight for Chuck Everlasting but receiving a quick takedown from Blackwell Bush in the process. The match was mainly Bush and Bernard showcasing their wrestling ability whilst Oliverio and Everlasting spent nearly the entire time shouting insults at each other. Everlasting’s boldness was the key decider in the match, choosing to tag himself in whilst Bush had Bernard on the back foot. Charging towards Bernard, Everlasting found himself locked in the Cross Armbar, tapping out shortly to prevent a repeat of last month.

Bob Shrunkle & Adrian McGhee vs Suplex Surf Party

McGhee and Lucas broke out into a fight with no delay, leaving Shrunkle and Bawes together in the ring for the first half of the match. Bawes attempted to overcome Shrunkle’s massive weight advantage but each suplex attempt was meant with strong resistance from the bigger man. Shrunkle knew he had the upper hand and resorted to lazy fighting, clubbing blows and pushing Bawes away. Bawes’ frustration grew at each failed attempt to get Shrunkle failed and he went to tag out to Lucas...only for McGhee to swipe Lucas off of the apron and punch him in the head with the chain McGhee frequently uses (unseen of course by referee Edward Daicos who was momentarily distracted by Pete Moriarty). Tagging in himself shortly, Bawes found himself on the backfoot in a 2 on 1 situation and eventually succumbed to a crossface from McGhee - revealed to have been enhanced by McGhee’s wrist tape shortly after his hand has raised!

Demarcus Lee vs Fuzzy Freeman

Fuzzy was in a jovial mood, chatting away with fans until he remembered he was supposed to be in a wrestling match. Demarcus Lee stood unamused as the pre-match shenanigans went on. Slapping Fuzzy as he entered the ring, Demarcus was flying fists a-plenty to start off. Weathering the storm, Fuzzy soon snapped into wrestling mode and took down Demarcus with ease. Finishing the match off with the Melon Drop (Reverse DDT), Fuzzy soon resumed his conversation with crowd members well after the bell had been rung, only leaving to go to the locker room as Blaze Maximum made his way out.

Big Daddy Horne © vs Blaze Maximum

Horne seemed to be showing Maximum more respect in this match compared to their previous encounters, a move that seemed to intrigue Maximum. Engaging in a collar and elbow tie up, Maximum got the better of the champion and took him to the ground, locking in a headlock to try and wear down the bigger man. That was the story of the match, Maximum would gain the upper hand and try his best to bring Horne down to the mat where Maximum could control the action. An effective plan, this was the most danger Horne’s championship reign was under so far in WILD. Maximum almost had the win…

http://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g452/El_Scotcho/WILD/Pete%20Moriarty.jpg

….only for Pete Moriarty to appear and pull out Wels Farmer. As Farmer argued with Moriarty, Bob Shrunkle entered from the opposite side of the ring and readied himself for an attack on Horne. Running towards Horne, Shrunkle missed his shot and ended up taking out Maximum. Sensing Farmer about to turn around, Shrunkle decided to abandon the plan of attacking Horne and left - Farmer’s referee instincts preventing him from hearing the large Bob Shrunkle escaping. Horne picked up the prone Maximum and planted him back down with the Sidewalk Slam for the tainted win, Horne’s expression showing his displeasure at winning in such a manner.

Big Daddy Horne defeated Blaze Maximum in 12:26 by pinfall with a Sidewalk Slam. During the match we also had Bob Shrunkle accidentally hit Maximum. Big Daddy Horne makes defence number 5 of his WILD Heavyweight title.

Pete Moriarty lingered at ringside, picking up the house microphone to address the WILD champion.

PETE MORIARTY

Well done Mister Horne. Another successful defence. But was it really successful? We all saw how you won. You needed another man to down your opponent. You shouldn’t be anger with my client Bob Shrunkle. Nonononono, you should be thanking him. You see, he kept that championship in your possession...for another month or two. Consider this the OFFICIAL declaration of challenge from my client. He wants a match with you for that championship you carry.

Big Daddy Horne looked angered but instead of replying, he simply left the ring. Walking past Moriarty without a word, the champion sent out a stronger message than he could with words.

PETE MORIARTY

That’s fine Mister Horne. You don’t need to answer this month. But I’ve got friends in high places. Until you give my client and I an answer, there will be NO WILD World Heavyweight championship defences. We shall speak again next month Mister Horne.

I'm giving you until 5 and if you're still here by the time I get back, the next thing you'll see is a damn doctor in a damn hospital. NOW GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE. Boys, see to it he properly leaves"

David Avatar was surprised. He was expecting Bob Shrunkle to hurt FUYUHIKO yet here he was, acting like a rational human being.

BOB SHRUNKLE

"Tiny. A word"

David Avatar gulped.

BOB SHRUNKLE

"Tiny, I don't think I'm ready for this. It's a big thing what's coming up."

David Avatar was stunned. Bob Shrunkle was...acting like a human.

DAVID AVATAR

"Bob, let's just ride it out. Stop thinking and let's just go for it. Everything is going to work out just fine"

David Avatar paused after that. Bob Shrunkle looked quizzically at him.

BOB SHRUNKLE

"Tiny, that's somewhat wise. Where the hell did you steal that from?"

DAVID AVATAR

"No clue Bob. No clue"

WILD LOOKS THAT KILL

WILD's penultimate event of the year!

WILD fans are in for a big main event as Bob Shrunkle faces off against Trehawke Phillips! Trehawke issued the challenge after Shrunkle's manager Pete Moriarty issued the declaration that there would be no more WILD championship matches until Big Daddy Horne accepts Bob Shrunkle's challenge.

Fuzzy Freeman takes on the chain swinging madman Adrian McGhee! Michel Bernard faces his biggest challenge yet in WILD's own Elvis of the Exploder Lee Bawes! All this and more! Blaze Maximum takes on one half of Skyward Sadness - the always misanthropic Simon McBain!

Blaze Maximum vs Simon McBain

Blaze was dumbfounded by McBain’s lack of energy and spent the first couple of minutes trying to get some life into his opponent. He almost broke McBain’s barriers only to be ambushed when Blaze turned his back on McBain. What followed was four minutes of Blaze kicking McBain from pillar to post, hardly breaking a sweat as he covered his near dead opponent after a Maximum Overdrive for the victory.

Blaze Maximum defeated Simon McBain in 7:37 by pinfall with a Maximum Overdrive.

Demarcus Lee & Joe Zucco vs Nighthawk & Whirlwind Lee Wilkes

The street thug mentality of Demarcus shone through at the start as months of frustration built up and he jumped Nighthawk and Whirlwind. Even Zucco was impressed by his partner’s attitude, applauding him before jumping into the fray. A miscommunication between Demarcus and Zucco saw the end of their dominance as Whirlwind directed his younger partner, Nighthawk making clinical attacks with his trademark high impact style. It be this change in fortune for Nighthawk that would see him pick up his first pinfall in WILD, pinning Joe Zucco with an Inverted Bulldog!

Whirlwind Lee Wilkes and Nighthawk defeated Joe Zucco and Demarcus Lee in 7:49 when Nighthawk defeated Joe Zucco by pinfall with an Inverted Bulldog.

Blackwell Bush vs Toasty Bonnar

Blackwell was in no mood for any of Toasty’s shenanigans, eyeing him down as he sulked his way down to the ring. Deploying a vast array of amateur wrestling holds and throws, Blackwell looked more like a machine than a human. Luckily enough for Toasty the end was quick, a Fisherman’s Suplex ending the match at just under seven minutes in favour of Blackwell.

Blackwell Bush defeated Toasty Bonnar in 6:31 by pinfall with a Fisherman's Suplex.

Chuck Everlasting vs Lorenzo Oliverio

Unaccompanied by Bernard, Oliverio was a more nervous figure than normal. Chuck seemed more eager to slap hands with the audience than wrestle, taking a good two minutes to actually get into the ring. Lorenzo offered Chuck a bribe to just lie down and accept a loss which Chuck looked to accept, lying down for Lorenzo to cover him….only to pull Lorenzo into a small package which netted a close 2 count. Enraged by this, Lorenzo flung any kind of offensive maneuver he could at Chuck including a wicked punch that seemed to knock Chuck out. Deciding to go for the ultimate embarrassment to his opponent, Lorenzo grabbed a microphone and locked Chuck in a camel clutch. Berating him whilst in the the move, he handed the microphone to referee Edward Daicos as he wrenched back, almost screaming at Edward to ask for a verbal submission. To Chuck’s credit he held on for a good minute before screaming he submits into the microphone, leaving a very satisfied Lorenzo Oliverio to have his hand raised as the victor.

Lorenzo Oliverio defeated Chuck Everlasting in 7:35 by submission.

Adrian McGhee vs Fuzzy Freeman

Fuzzy showed no sign of fear as he approached the ring, blank faced as he came toe to toe with the resident wild man of WILD Adrian McGhee. McGhee charged, Fuzzy dodged. That was the story of the match, McGhee unable to grab a hold of his opponent and being more frustrated than he has been before whilst Fuzzy dodged, dipped, dived, ducked, and dodged everything McGhee flung at him. Reaching for his chain, McGhee was taken aback to see it not at ringside. Instead wait he saw was Surfer Dude Lucas at the entrance way with McGhee’s chain in hand. Taking advantage of the distraction, Fuzzy dropped McGhee with the Melon Drop for the win!

http://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g452/El_Scotcho/WILD/Surfer%20Dude%20Lucas.jpg

Lucas took the house microphone after the match to issue a challenge to McGhee. Next month would be the last event for WILD in 2014. AND it’s Christmas. Lucas spoke to the matchmakers and got himself an early Christmas present. Surfer Dude Lucas vs Adrian McGhee - No Disqualifications, No Holds Barred!

Fuzzy Freeman defeated Adrian McGhee in 7:42 by pinfall with a Melon Drop.

Lee Bawes vs Michel Bernard

Perhaps the biggest test for Bernard so far, Bawes had a gameplan that he aimed to stick to. Unfortunately for him, Bernard had a counter for seemingly every suplex Bawes had and Bawes was often on the back foot. Not helping Bawes’ case was the presence of Lorenzo Oliverio at ringside, Bawes keeping an eye out for Oliverio just in case he tried any interference. Bawes soon found his groove, throwing Bernard around with ease. Going for an exploder suplex, Bawes soon found himself on the receiving end of the Cross Armbreaker - Bernard somehow transitioning himself mid suplex to grab Bawes arm and land with the submission locked in. Bawes fought as hard as he could but he succumbed to the same fate everyone who faced Bernard has - tapping out frantically in the middle of the ring.

Michel Bernard defeated Lee Bawes in 10:05 by submission with a Cross Armlock.

Rating: 19

Lee Bawes Suplex Count: Not enough to win :(

Bob Shrunkle vs Trehawke Phillips

Practically sweating out confidence, Shrunkle looked like the king of the world as he made his way down to the ring to face off against perennial rival Trehawke Phillips. The match started off slow with both men feeling each other out and not wanting to exert too much energy. Glancing blows and tests of strength failed to establish a dominant man in the battle and the match soon degenrated into a bar room style slug fest which rocked Shrunkle more than it did Phillips. Taking the lead, Phillips worked on chipping away at Shrunkle’s massive 516lbs frame in order to lock in the sleeper hold. Pete Moriarty would soon get involved only for Trehawke to punch him, to the great delight of the fans!

Unfortunately this averted distraction would end up costing Trehawke the match as Shrunkle crushed Trehawke against the ropes as Trehawke was taunting Moriarty. Doubling the pain by landing on top of Trehawke with the Sit Down Splash, Shrunkle looked more annoyed than pleased by his victory...

Bob Shrunkle defeated Trehawke Phillips in 12:14 by pinfall with a Sit-Down Splash.

Rating: 26

...for good reason as instead of his entrance music playing, the entrance music of his rival Big Daddy Horne played. Appearing at the top of the entrance way, Horne took the house microphone and stared a hole through Shrunkle.

BIG DADDY HORNE

“You want a match? You’ve got it. Me. You. Next month. Championship on the line”

Statement made, Horne went to the back and Shrunkle actually looked pleased. Moriarty was still down and out, Shrunkle not really caring as he made his way to the back as well.

WILD WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

BIG DADDY HORNE © vs BOB SHRUNKLE

Big Daddy Horne has been a dominant champion in his ten month reign but he's never had to face an opponent quite like Bob Shrunkle. Shrunkle is a man possessed, battering through the competition with the help of his adviser Pete Moriarty. Initially trying to recruit Big Daddy Horne to Moriarty's clientele, Moriarty and Shrunkle would move in another direction at WILD Rock You Like A Hurricane, attacking Horne and declaring their intentions to dethrone the legend and reign supreme as WILD World Heavyweight Champion. The match was made official at last month's WILD Looks That Kill and anticipation has been growing for this clash of the titans.

http://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g452/El_Scotcho/WILD/Michel%20Bernard.jpghttp://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g452/El_Scotcho/WILD/Trehawke%20Phillips.jpg

MICHEL BERNARD vs TREHAWKE PHILLIPS

A big test for the currently undefeated in singles competition Michel Bernard as he faces the man thought to be the benchmark in WILD Trehawke Phillips. Already some animosity as Bernard cost Phillips the chance of victory back at WILD Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?, Phillips has promised to sort out Bernard once and for all. Bernard was quiet when asked for comments, leaving Lorenzo Oliverio to step in and say that he'll personally pay Trehawke Phillips $1000 if he can beat Michel Bernard.

ADRIAN MCGHEE vs SURFER DUDE LUCAS

NO DISQUALIFICATIONS MATCH

Adrian McGhee burst into WILD at WILD Madhouse and a path of destruction has followed him ever since. Bullying workers left, right and centre McGhee soon found himself up against a brick wall built out of hope and good times known as Surfer Dude Lucas. Lucas seemed intent on stopping McGhee's violent post match attacks and at WILD Rock You Like A Hurricane, the pair faced off in a match WILD matchmakers hoped would quell the war brewing before it got started. Instead McGhee and Lucas brawled their way to a double count out. McGhee made his presence known at WILD Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?, introducing his now signature steel chain to both WILD audiences and Surfer Dude Lucas' skull. Now with the matchmakers approval, Lucas gets his chance to get revenge on his nemesis in a match where nothing is illegal - except murder!

A series of kicks followed by a cannonball in the corner seemed to knock Oliverio for six and all Fuzzy needed to do to get the win was jump to the second rope and dive off with the Melon Bomber senton.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center"><p><strong>Fuzzy Freeman defeated Lorenzo Oliverio in 8:26 by pinfall with a Melon Bomber.</strong></p><p><strong> Rating: 14</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="39169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center"><span>http://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g452/El_Scotcho/WILD/Michel%20Bernard.jpg</span><span>http://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g452/El_Scotcho/Definitely%20WORLD-1/LogosBannersBeltsWhistles/VS.png</span><span>http://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g452/El_Scotcho/WILD/Trehawke%20Phillips.jpg</span><p> <strong>Michel Bernard</strong> vs <strong>Trehawke Phillips</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Having studied previous Bernard matches, Trehawke decided to not let Bernard get the opening advantage, immediately going to punching Bernard in the face as the bell rung. Using his power to keep Bernard on the backfoot, Trehawke used a wide variety of slams, throws and basic attacks to stop any attempts at a Bernard push.</p><p> </p><p> Unfortunately for Trehawke, Bernard’s judo training stuck with him and an attempt at a Lariat from Trehawke saw Bernard grab his arm and slam him to the ground. Spending the rest of the match on the mat working over Trehawke’s arm, Bernard collected his biggest scalp so far in WILD, breaking Trehawke’s arm with a sickening snap. Releasing the hold at the snap, referee Wels Farmer had no choice but to award the match to Bernard.</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center"><p> <strong>Michel Bernard defeated Trehawke Phillips in 9:32 by submission with a Cross Armlock.</strong></p><p><strong> Rating: 20</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="39169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center"><span>http://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g452/El_Scotcho/WILD/Generic_WorldHeavy09.jpg</span><p> <strong>WILD WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP BOUT</strong></p><p> <span>http://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g452/El_Scotcho/WILD/Big%20Daddy%20Horne.jpg</span><span>http://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g452/El_Scotcho/Definitely%20WORLD-1/LogosBannersBeltsWhistles/VS.png</span><span>http://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g452/El_Scotcho/WILD/Bob%20Shrunkle.jpg</span></p><p> <strong>Big Daddy Horne ©</strong> vs <strong>Bob Shrunkle</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> The weight of this match weighed on both men, the importance showing on both Horne and Shrunkle’s face. A more strategic approach from both men followed, neither man wanting to expend their energy straight away. Every time it looked like Shrunkle was ready to lock up, he’d fake out and duck outside the ring to consult with Moriarty. Getting fed up with this, Horne soon lumbered outside to where Shrunkle was standing, clubbing the challenger from behind. A venue wide brawl followed, Moriarty chasing along to try and distract the champion but Horne’s focus would not be shifted.</p><p> </p><p> Getting back to the ring, Horne looked set to end the match but struggled to lift Shrunkle up for the Sidewalk Slam. Frustrated by this, Horne went to the outside in search of weaponry to use only to find Moriarty scaling him like a koala would a tree. Shaking him off, Horne grabbed his title and found his way back into the ring…</p><p> </p><p> ...only to be met by a Shrunkle running body attack that knocked Horne against the ropes and the championship on the ground. Shoving Shrunkle back, Horne also inadvertently knocked out referee Edward Daicos. With the referee on the ground, both men made a motion to get to the belt. Shrunkle was just a little bit faster, grabbing the belt and spinning around just in time to knock Horne across the head with it. Staggering the big man, Shrunkle lined up a more perfect shot, connecting and knocking Horne to the ground. Referee Daicos got up just in time to see Shrunkle landing with the Sit Down Splash and a three count later, WILD had a new World Heavyweight champion.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center"><p><strong>Bob Shrunkle defeated Big Daddy Horne in 15:06 by pinfall with a Sit-Down Splash. Backstage at Trance Records...

The festivities were in full flow backstage, new champion Bob Shrunkle directing the party as if he were king of the land.

David Avatar was enjoying the feeling of not having to worry about any trouble makers or nuisances.

???

"Hello David, any chance we can talk?"

David Avatar turned around to find out who the voice belonged to.

TREHAWKE PHILLIPS

Voted Man With Best Sideburns 2014

TREHAWKE PHILLIPS

"David. I'm thankful for this gig and all but the travel is killing me. I'm away from my family and the flights, the flights are bloody awful. This life isn't for me anymore Dave"

David Avatar had thought this was the case. There had been rumblings that Trehawke wasn't feeling the travel from Darwin to Adelaide.

DAVID AVATAR

"Hate to see you go Mr. Phillips but if it is what you want, I'll speak to Bob and we'll let you stick to the family life in Darwin. I'll fix it with Bob so you get a bit extra as well, cheers for letting us put Bernard over"

TREHAWKE PHILLIPS

"It's no bother Dave, it's been a blast here. Honestly. Unlike that joke APW. You actually seem to care for people"

Trehawke Phillips began to walk away. David Avatar couldn't resist.

DAVID AVATAR

"HEY TREHAWKE.....Go home and be a family man"

Trehawke smirked and said his final goodbyes to the roster. Bob Shrunkle barely noticed.
