Thunder & Curtis were obviously running out of options with only 9 days to the big PPV... we faded to the opening credits...

Following South's win the Coach & the Allstars returned to the ring and The Coach invited all three try-outs to make their case for why they should be the one to join the Allstars. Iron Fist made the point that, as a boxer that was imbued with mystical powers, he should be the chosen one (causing quite a few chuckles from the Allstars). Gary Woods declared that not only is he the most experienced MMA fighter of the three but He was the one who gave the Allstars back-up when they needed it. Garrett South then grabbed the mic and cut a damn good promo on his top-line professional wrestling experience, pitching the fact that the Allstars could do with an 'insider' to help them stratergise before the big match! The Coach looked thoughtful for a moment, before saying they'll have to take a week to think on it and he will be making the official announcement at the start of next week's episode of SuperStars.

In a surprising turn of events for NAWF fans non other than current NAWF stars, RAWA legend Rudy Single and his protege Guy Ferrari, made an appearance as guests on Paige Entertainment's "Saturday Night Late Talk with Cody Marshall" to promote the upcoming Survival of the Fittest PPV.

 

Both men excelled in their interviews and host Cody even convinced Ferrari to give the audience a little taste of his stand-up routines which went down very well too.

 

All in all, a great promo-op, not only for the NAWF but also for Guy Ferrari, word has it Ferrari already has several bookings lined up at some high-profile comedy clubs in the coming months off the back of last night's little performance!

The first big thing to note here is that last night after the cameras stopped rolling Seb Curtis & Terry Thunder decided that the team would no longer be called 'Team Wrestling' because they were getting the band back together with some new members... and the instantly recognisable theme music for Curtis & Thunder's legendary team 'The Insiders' hit the arena!

 

So tomorrow night in the PPV Main Event the MMA Allstars will be facing off against a one-night-only reboot of one of pro wrestling's most memorable stables to see which truely is better, professional wrestling or mixed martial arts!
