Kurt Angle's Final Run?

By: The_CoC

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/KurtAngle.jpg

At the age of 47 Kurt Angle without a doubt is on the last leg of his career but the question on a lot of wrestling fans mind is whether or not Kurt can win the big one, one last time. Kurt who has been a dominant member of the World Title Series has been plagued by injury in recent years with neck problems and ACL issues. Angle will face Eric Young on this weeks Impact and if he can somehow beat Young will face CM Punk at Final Resolution. We here at Promotionwars.com were interested on TNA fans opinion on Kurt Angle so we asked on Twitter and gathered responses.

@FightJohnFight says ‘Angle should just give up, there is no way he can get through Eric then Punk #AnglesFinalRun’

@TheAwesomeVoice says ‘Angle is a machine, he will never retire #AnglesFinalRun’

@WIRKata says ‘It’s unsafe for Angle to wrestle at this point #AnglesFinalRun’

And finally @Real_CoC says ‘I’m pulling for Angle to win the whole thing, he will always be my guy #AnglesFinalRun

Well the fans seem to be divided on whether this is truly it for Kurt Angle. I guess we will all have to tune into Impact to see whether or not Angle still has some steam left in the tank.

TNA IMPACT WRESTLING!

Wednesday Week 4 December 2015

Location: FL Moore Gymnasium (South East)

Attendance: 3,000

Overall Rating: C+

TV Rating: .60

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/BryanDanielson.jpg

[Welcome to the final Impact Wrestling before Final Resolution! We have a great show coming to you live from the Moore Gymnasium in Daytona Beach, Florida. The crowd is standing on their feet as 'The Final Countdown' plays in the background. TNA Owner Bryan Danielson walks out with 'YES!' chants echoing through the crowd. Danielson enters the ring and climbs to the second turnbuckle, raising his fingers in the air, getting the crowd loud and proud here in Florida. He drops down and begins by welcoming everyone to TNA Impact Wrestling. He says that he would like to start by giving a medical update on his wife. He says that Brie suffered some fractures in her ankle. He says he is not going to get into the details but AJ Brooks might have permanently injured her ankle. He says that he thought about coming out here and firing AJ Brooks. But that is not really HIS style. He doesn't do that 'You're fired' thing like some other owners do. Besides that, he says, his wife asked him not to fire AJ. He says that his wife told him to give AJ Brooks a message and that message is that she will be there at Final Resolution no matter what. She will be there and she will fight AJ Brooks in a one on one match. Speaking of Final Resolution, there are six wrestlers who will be competing in an Ultimate X match live on pay-per-view. Danielson says he would like to introduce those wrestlers right now. He says he wants all six of them to step out to the ramp, three on each side.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/TigreUno.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/MattHardy.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/AustinAries.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/DougWilliams.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/RobVanDam.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/JohnHennigan.jpg

[bryan Danielson announces the six men as they walk out from the back. We have the X-Division champion Tigre Uno, Matt Hardy, Austin Aries, Doug Williams, the returning Rob Van Dam and John Hennigan! All six men walk out and stand on either side of the ramp. Tigre Uno, Matt Hardy and Rob Van Dam are on one side. Austin Aries, Doug Williams and John Hennigan are on the other side. Danielson wishes them the best of luck in the Ultimate X match and may the best wrestler win. Aries speaks up, saying that the Greatest Man That Ever Lived will walk away with the X-Division title. Danielson says that if Aries can get past those five other competitors then he will have earned the X-Division title. Danielson says they can all return to the back, expect for Doug Williams. He invites Doug Williams out to the ring because Williams has the opening match here on Impact Wrestling. Danielson exits the ring and walks toward the back. What an announcement tonight. Rob Van Dam is returning and John Hennigan is debuting here on Impact Wrestling. What else will happen at Final Resolution? Williams enters the ring and waits for his opponent.]

Doug Williams vs. The Great Sasuke

[The opening contest is one with solid in-ring action between two International X-Division wrestlers. This is what Impact Wrestling is all about, says Josh Matthews. Sasuke gets an early advantage on Williams and sends Williams out of the ring early on. This is set up so that Sasuke bounces off the ropes and catches Williams with a dropkick through the ropes to the outside. Sasuke plays to the crowd for a moment before tossing Williams back inside the ring. Sasuke catches Williams with a Dragon Suplex, scoring a two count before Williams kicks out. Sasuke goes for an early Michinoku Driver but Williams blocks it and swings out, catching Sasuke with a couple of European Uppercut shots, knocking Sasuke back into a corner. Williams Irish whips Sasuke across the ring to the opposite corner and runs in, catching Sasuke with a running avalanche in the corner. Within a few more moments, Williams ducks a Sasuke clothesline and catches him with a rear waistlock -- Williams runs Sasuke chest-first into the corner -- Chaos Theory! Sasuke's shoulders are on the mat: One, Two, Three! Doug Williams gains some momentum heading into Final Resolution less than a week away.]

Winner: Doug Williams (Via Pinfall @ 10:08)

[From the ring, we are taken to a darkened room where the only light is a small bulb hanging down in the center of the room. Seated on the floor are Raven, Stevie Richards and Bram. Raven looks up in the camera and sneers for a moment. He says that The Wolves think they upped the ante by bringing Tommy Dreamer out to rescue them last week. But all they did was secure their own destruction at Final Resolution. Raven says he might have been inclined to take things a little easier on the Wolves. He knows what it is like to live up to the pressures of the fans and live up to the pressures of being a champion. But all of that changed when Tommy Dreamer walked out. Tommy, says Raven, you have been a thorn in my side ever since we were little. He says that The Gathering was supposed to be a safe haven for him. Instead, it is once again a place where Tommy Dreamer tries to take the spotlight from him. Well, what about me? What about Raven? Raven says that he and Stevie Richards are going to become the new World Tag Team Champions at Final Resolution. When the bell sounds, The Wolves and Tommy Dreamer will know that the bell tolls for thee. Quote the Raven...Nevermore!]

TNA World Title Series

Quarterfinals Match

Eli Drake vs. Bobby Lashley

[Our second match of the evening is a quarterfinals match in the TNA World Title Series. This match between Eli Drake and Bobby Lashley seems like a definite mismatch on paper. But this is why the matches are not fought on paper. The matches are fought in the ring and this one seems a lot closer in the ring than one may have thought. The match begins inside the ring but doesn't stay there for long as Eli Drake manages to avoid an early spear and tosses Lashley out of the ring. Drake has the referee's attention and Kevin Nash takes down Lashley with a big boot. The crowd boos in the background as Nash tosses Lashley back in the ring and Drake goes on the attack. Drake begins choking Lashley on the middle rope, breaking just before the five count and then begins choking him again. Around the four minute mark, Drake secures a rear waistlock and goes for a German Suplex but Lashley manages to reverse the grip, slipping around behind Drake. Lashley brings Drake over with a release German Suplex, tossing Drake nearly out of his boots! Lashley grabs Drake and pulls him up with a delayed vertical suplex, leaving Drake hanging for about thirty seconds before dropping him to the mat. Lashley plays to the crowd for a moment before moving into a corner and perching. Drake slowly gets to his feet but Kevin Nash grabs the ankle of Lashley, preventing him from running toward Drake. Lashley turns and yells at Nash, who raises his arms, feigning innocence. Drake strikes Lashley with a forearm strike to the back. He hits him with two more and then sends Lashley to the ropes -- reversed! Lashley bounces off the ropes -- SPEAR! Lashley spears Drake out of his boots in the center of the ring! Lashley makes a cover, hooking the leg: One, Two, Three!]

Winner: Bobby Lashley (Via Pinfall @ 6:45)

[Bobby Lashley advances in the TNA World Title Series. Lashley's opponent at Final Resolution, Ethan Carter III and Tyrus hit the ring. They bring Lashley to the mat with a double clothesline and then take turns putting the boots to Lashley while the Destroyer is on the mat. Carter pulls up Lashley and whips him into a corner before Irish whipping Tyrus into the corner with the big corner splash! Carter moves in to the staggered Lashley and sets him up for the One-Percenter but out from the back comes Drew Galloway! Galloway charges down to the ring and slides inside just in time to stop Carter from dropping Lashley. Galloway catches Tyrus with a clothesline and then ducks a clothesline from Carter. Galloway sends Tyrus over the top rope with a clothesline! Lashley takes this time to recover and charges at Carter -- Carter rolls under the bottom rope to escape! Ethan Carter III barely escaped being hit with the Spear. Carter points to his head, showing that he was smart for exiting the ring when he did, rather than taking the Spear. Inside the ring, Drew Galloway and Bobby Lashley shake hands and do a quick 'man-hug' before they both face out toward Ethan Carter III and Tyrus. Last week, Lashley saved Galloway. This week, Galloway saves Lashley so they seem all even up on favors.]

[We are taken to a backstage area where we see Spud and he is standing by with none other than a returning Brother Runt. The cameraman asks Spud and Runt if they have something to say. Spud says that he has been fighting on his own for far too long. He says that he needs someone he can trust to watch his back and Brother Runt is someone he has always looked up to. He says that he is a lion and this is another lion that he is proud to say is his new tag team partner. He says that the two of them are future TNA World Tag Team Champions together. Runt says that Spud can trust him more than he could ever trust Ethan Carter III. Runt and Spud shake hands and the two of them walk off together, discussing their strategies as a team. We head back to the ringside area.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/BobbyRoode.jpg

[Vader is already waiting in the ring when we come back to the ringside area. He holds up the 'V' sign and growls at the crowd, asking them 'Who's the man?' He yells at the fans in the front row before The It Factor of Professional Wrestling Bobby Roode walks out and stands at the top of the ramp. He says that last week Vader gave him someone that would test out all of his strengths when he chose Doug Williams to be his opponent. Everyone knows that Vader is a power wrestler and with good reason. Roode says that Vader is a legend here and in Japan. But he asks what happens when that power advantage is taken away? What happens when someone who can neutralize the power of Vader steps inside the ring with the Mastadon? Roode says that this is one of those moments where it pays to be Roode. He says that he went back to find the perfect opponent for Vader tonight. Tonight, in this very ring, Vader will be taking on a true TNA legend when he faces 'The Blueprint' Matt Morgan! The crowd pops for the arrival of Morgan! Morgan shakes hands with Roode and then marches toward the ring, never letting his eyes leave his opponent tonight.]

Bobby Roode Chooses Vader's Opponent

Vader vs. Matt Morgan

[To say that this is a hard-hitting match between these two power wrestlers would be an understatement. Vader backs Morgan into a corner early on, striking Morgan with vicious forearm shots in the corner. Vader yanks Morgan up from the corner and sends him to the ropes -- Lariat! Morgan staggers backward and falls against the ropes. Vader charges and Morgan drops, pulling the ropes down, sending Vader up and over to the floor below! Morgan gets the crowd solidly behind him as he exits the ring and grabs Vader. He slams Vader head-first into the steel steps before tossing Vader back inside the ring. Morgan drops Vader with a discus clothesline and then bounces off the ropes -- Atomic Leg Drop! Morgan makes a cover, getting a two count. Morgan yanks Vader up and Irish whips him into a corner. Morgan moves in and presses his back to Vader's chest. He begins striking back elbow shots to Vader's head before turning around and catching Vader with forearm smashes. Morgan backs up and bounces off the ropes -- Carbon Foot -- No! Vader avoids the Carbon Foot Print and begins firing off punches to Morgan! Morgan fires punches back to Vader! The referee warns both men, trying to tell them that they need to stick to wrestling. Both men shove the referee down as neither man wants to back down from the other. The referee calls for the bell, automatically disqualifying both men.]

[From the ring and that wild brawl, we move to a video where we are taken to the same almost-empty boardroom that we have been to the last several weeks. Sitting in a large, black leather chair is Ted DiBiase, Jr. He offers a smile at the camera and says Arnold Hall in Miami, Florida is going to be the location of the arrival of the Million Dollar Son to TNA. He says that he will be arriving to TNA at Final Resolution, though, he does not have a match scheduled. But when you have the money that he has, he can do anything that he wants. He could even wear a LeBron James jersey in Miami, Florida. Who is going to argue with him when he holds up his best friend, Benjamin Franklin? There is absolutely no one that would argue with him because everybody has a price for the Million Dollar Son. Whether it's the wrestlers in the World Title Series, Josh Matthews, Mike Tenay or even Bryan Danielson. It doesn't matter. If money is the root of all evil then the Million Dollar Son is the devil and he is going to make you an offer you can't refuse. DiBiase laughs and spins in the chair before the camera fades to black.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/AwesomeKong.jpg

[We go from one video to the next video. This one is focused on the history between the TNA Knockouts Champion Gail Kim and her number one contender Awesome Kong. These two women will be going one on one this Sunday night at Final Resolution. The video follows Gail Kim's debut as the manager of America's Most Wanted and Jeff Jarrett. Gail Kim became the first Knockout champion in 2007 when she outlasted nine other wrestlers, including Awesome Kong, in a Knockouts Gauntlet match. The title changed hands in 2008 when Awesome Kong defeated Gail Kim on an episode of TNA Impact Wrestling. Gail Kim has a record five Knockouts championships while Awesome Kong has two reigns with the belt, defeating Gail Kim for the start of one of those title reigns. Gail Kim last won the title in a fatal fourway match when she defeated Awesome Kong, Brooke and Lei'D Tapa. These two women met at Bound For Glory in October and they will meet one more time this Sunday at Final Resolution. Which Knockout will come out on top with the Knockouts Championship? Make sure you tune in this Sunday to find out.]

AJ Brooks vs. Madison Rayne

[speaking of the Knockouts, we go to Knockouts action inside the ring as AJ Brooks steps in the ring with a member of The Beautiful People, Madison Rayne. As one would expect this match is fairly back and forth between these two Knockouts. At one point, Rayne catches Brooks with a running big boot and scores a two count. Rayne plays to the crowd for a moment and then picks up Brooks. She whips Brooks to a corner and charges with a corner dropkick but Brooks moves and Rayne catches the corner instead. Brooks smiles and stands up, skipping around the ring before picking up Rayne. She catches Rayne with a swinging neckbreaker, bringing her back down to the mat. Brooks smiles and picks up Rayne, catching her with a big boot to the back of the head just like her husband does. Brooks yanks up Rayne and goes for a Tornado DDT but Rayne throws her off and Brooks lands hard on the mat. But she stands up quickly. Rayne moves in and goes for the Rayne Drop but it's blocked by Brooks. Brooks twists Rayne around -- Black Widow! The Black Widow is locked in and Rayne has nowhere to go so she has no choice but to tap out.]

Winner: AJ Brooks (Via Submission @ 5:41)

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/EricYoung.jpg

[The backstage area becomes the focus and the cameraman focuses in on Mr. Anderson. Anderson is seated on a bench with a duffel bag sitting to his right. He looks up in the camera and says that he knows that everyone is wondering just where does Mr. Anderson go from here. He beat Tyrus. But he lost in the TNA World Title Series. So, no matter what, Mr. Anderson doesn't have a shot at the TNA World title. Well, you know what? That's not going to stop Mr. Anderson. Because this asshole is coming for the TNA World Title in 2016 and he's not going to stop until he gets the title around his waist. That is a promise he is making to the asshole coalition. Whether it's Bobby Lashley or Kurt Angle or CM Punk or...? His words are cut off by the arrival of Eric Young. Anderson stands up and goes face-to-face with Young. He asks Young if he has a problem. Young says, what about me? What if I win the TNA World Title Series? Anderson laughs and says that Young doesn't have a shot at winning the World Title. He calls Young a good pup but he'll never be the one to run with the big dogs. This angers Young and Young attacks Anderson. Anderson fights back but Young catches Anderson with a low blow kick. Anderson drops to his knees with the kick and Young grabs him, tucking him in in a set-up for the Piledriver. But before he can deliver, Kurt Angle arrives and begins throwing punches! Young fires back! Angle grabs Young by the head and tosses him over a table! The cameras follow Angle and Young as they fight their way through the backstage area and out onto the ramp. Young grabs Angle by the head and slams him head-first into the barricade. He drags Angle to the ring and tosses him inside as a referee joins them. They're going to have their match right now!]

TNA World Title Series

Quarterfinals Match

Eric Young vs. Kurt Angle

[These two men have been brawling in the backstage area and now they have reached the ring for their match tonight. Eric Young grabs Kurt Angle and lifts him up on the turnbuckle. Young climbs up and hooks Angle in a suplex position -- Superplex within the opening minute by Eric Young on Kurt Angle! Young makes a cover: One, Two, Shoulder Up! Somehow Kurt Angle got his shoulder up! The crowd cheers as Young gets up and begins stomping away on Angle. Young focuses his stomp on the ribs of the Olympic Gold Medalist. Angle tries to cover up and then blocks a stomp, twisting Young into the Ankle Lock! A sign goes up in the crowd, reading: 'Ankle Lock ftw!' But Young quickly crawls to the ropes to get the rope break. Angle pulls himself up and waits for Young to do the same. Young staggers into Angle and Angle lifts Young for the Angle Slam -- Young drops down behind Angle. Young with a kick to the ribs of Angle and then turns him around -- belly-to-belly suplex! Young makes another cover: One, Two, Kickout! Young puts a few stomps to Angle and then climbs out on the apron, climbing to the top turnbuckle. He looks down at Angle and then leaps -- Diving Elbow Drop -- Angle moves! Young strikes the mat hard. Both men are down on the mat. Within a few more minutes, Young has taken some control again. He headed to the top turnbuckle but Angle came running in and grabbed Young -- Belly-To-Belly Superplex! Young goes flying! Angle takes down the straps and moves in on Young. He lifts him up and Young throws a wild punch but Angle ducks, locking on a rear waistlock -- German Suplex! Angle holds on and pops his hips, bringing them both back to their feet -- German Suplex! A second one and Angle still holds on. He gets them both back up -- Release German Suplex! Young crashes to the mat hard and Angle is definitely winded from this bout, not to mention holding his ribs from the attention that Young gave him earlier in the match. Angle gets to his feet and goes the leg of Young but Young kicks him off. Angle moves in a second time and goes for the leg but Young kicks him off again. Young gets to his feet and catches Angle with a kick to the gut. He goes to pull Angle in for the Piledriver but Angle blocks and lifts Young -- Angle Slam! Angle plants Young on the mat! Angle makes the cover: One, Two, Three!]

[Kurt Angle advances in the TNA World Title Series! He will face CM Punk this Sunday in the semifinals! But Angle does not get to celebrate. Instead, he is immediately attacked from behind by CM Punk and Austin Aries! The team known as Better Than You take turns kicking Angle in the corner. Punk pulls Angle out and hooks on the Anaconda Vise! The crowd boos loudly as Punk has the hold cinched in and Angle is tapping out. Aries begins yelling at the fans from the ring and 'Force Of Nature' begins to play in the background. Out come the TNA World Tag Team Champions The Wolves! Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards hit the ring and Aries goes for a swinging forearm shot to Richards but Richards ducks. The Wolves catch Aries with a double superkick, sending him flying through the ropes and out of the ring. The Wolves move down and separate CM Punk from Kurt Angle. Punk takes a wild shot at Richards, who ducks, but the wild kick connects with Eddie Edwards. Punk turns back to Davey Richards and Richards catches him with a lariat. Punk slides out of the ring underneath the ropes and joins his partner at ringside. Earl Hebner enters the ring and it's time for our main event match.]

Non-Title Match

Better Than You (CM Punk and Austin Aries) vs. The Wolves

[it is main event time and what a main event we have as this is Better Than You against the TNA World Tag Team Champions The Wolves. The match itself begins fast-paced with The Wolves in full control over both Punk and Aries. The Wolves use quick, fast-paced moves and quick tags in and out to keep a fresh man in the ring. Aries gets knocked out of the ring with CM Punk dropping off the apron to talk over strategy. Instead, both Punk and Aries fall victim to stereo dives by The Wolves. The Wolves release howls that are echoed by the crowd. Back in the ring, Davey Richards sends Austin Aries into a corner. He goes for a running elbow but Aries avoids the shot and Richards slams into the corner. Aries makes the tag to CM Punk and Punk comes in, going right after Davey Richards. The team known as Better Than You isolate Davey Richards in their corner and begin employing the quick tag method that The Wolves used earlier in the contest. Punk sends Richards outside the ring and then catches him with a springboard corkscrew crossbody, bringing Richards down hard outside the ring. Aries helps Punk up and Punk rams Richards back-first into the barricade. Punk points toward a sign in the crowd that reads: 'Punk and Aries=Dream Team!' He yanks Richards up and drops him throat-first on the barricade before bringing the action back in the ring. Austin Aries tags in and catches Richards with the pendulum elbowdrop. Aries tags in Punk and Punk heads to the top turnbuckle. He raises his arms up, imitating Randy Savage -- Diving Elbowdrop! Punk makes the cover:]

...Broken Up By Eddie Edwards!]

[CM Punk and Austin Aries were less than half a count away from a victory in this match. The fans here in Daytona Beach are on their feet, trying to cheer on Davey Richards to make a comeback. After a few more minutes, A Double comes back in the ring and goes for the slingshot corkscrew splash but Richards manages to roll out of the way and Aries crashes on the mat. The crowd begin clapping their hands along with Eddie Edwards, trying to get Richards to crawl to his corner. Aries begins crawling toward CM Punk. Richards begins moving toward a neutral corner. He is completely out of it as he has been the focus of the attack by Punk and Aries. Aries tags in CM Punk as Richards reaches the neutral corner. Punk rushes in and tries to catch Richards with a splash in the corner but Richards avoids the splash and dives, tagging in Eddie Edwards! The crowd cheers as Edwards comes in, throwing hard punches to both CM Punk and Austin Aries. Edwards catches Aries with a Frankensteiner and then turns to CM Punk and catches him with a hard roundhouse kick. Davey Richards comes into the ring, getting his second wind. The Wolves set up CM Punk. Eddie Edwards launches Punk in the air and Davey Richards catches Punk with a lifting kick to the midsection! They both release a howl and head to opposite corners, climbing to the top turnbuckles. Austin Aries suddenly stands up and shakes the ropes, sending Davey Richards crashing to the mat. Eddie Edwards gets distracted by AJ Brooks. Aries rushes Edwards, hitting the turnbuckle and Edwards collapses on the turnbuckle. Aries climbs up and hooks Edwards -- Super Brainbuster! CM Punk manages to roll over -- Anaconda Vise! He hooks the Anaconda Vise on Eddie Edwards. Edwards struggles in the hold for about a minute before he is forced to tap out.]

[This is a huge win for CM Punk and Austin Aries tonight as they defeat the TNA World Tag Team Champions! AJ Brooks and Thea Trinidad enter the ring to help support their men as Punk releases the hold and moves to his feet. Aries and Trinidad hug and kiss in the center of the ring. AJ raises up the arm of CM Punk and Punk climbs to the second turnbuckle. He poses on the turnbuckle as the announcers begin talking about Final Resolution coming this Sunday night. CM Punk will step in the ring with Kurt Angle and Bobby Lashley will step in the ring with Ethan Carter III. The winners of those matches will face for the TNA World Title. Gail Kim will defend the Knockouts title against Awesome Kong. The Wolves defend the TNA World Tag Team Titles against Raven and Stevie Richards. A six-way Ultimate X match for the X-Division title! Inside the ring, CM Punk drops off the second turnbuckle and hugs Brooks before shaking hands with Austin Aries. The two men raise each other's arms and stand tall in the center of the ring. We'll see you this Friday for XPlosion and then on Sunday for Final Resolution! As we begin to fade to black, we are shown a sign in the background, reading: '#AllWeWantIsTJP!']

Taped from Coral Springs Gymnasium, Coral Springs, FL.

Broadcast via Fuel TV at Evening...

TNA presents...

TNA XPLOSION!

TNA XPlosion begins with a recap from the main event of TNA Impact Wrestling. That main event featured CM Punk and Austin Aries taking on the TNA World Tag Team Champions The Wolves in non title action. It was a great and competitive match between the two tag teams. The Wolves very nearly scored a victory in this contest but Austin Aries caught Eddie Edwards with the Super Brainbuster and then CM Punk locked on the Anaconda Vise. Edward tapped out to the hold, giving the victory to the team known as Better Than You.

Match 1

In a match that had some good action and average heat, John Hennigan defeated Ultimo Dragon in 6:29 by pinfall with a Starship Pain.=C-

As usual with XPlosion, we move to a pre-taped interview. This one features a sit-down interview with Mike Tenay and the man they call Vader. Tenay asks Vader about the upcoming match with Bobby Roode. Vader says that Roode insulted him when he called himself the King of the Mountain. Vader says that there is no King of the Mountain but the King of the Rocky Mountains, the man they call Vader. He says that this Sunday night he is going to prove who runs things around here. It's not that little pipsqueak Bryan Danielson. It's not the Chump of the Mountain Bobby Roode. The man who runs things around here is the same man that is going to destroy everyone on his way to the top. That man is the man they call Vader. Vader roars and gets in the face of Tenay for just a moment as we fade back to the ring.

Match 2

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, AJ Brooks and Thea Trinidad defeated The Beautiful People II in 5:42 when AJ Brooks defeated Velvet Sky by submission.=D+

Another pre-taped video is shown. This one features the man who says he will not die, Matt Hardy. Hardy says that he was disappointed when he lost in the TNA World Title Series. He says that this one is going to be a tough one to get over. But he can and he will move forward because this Sunday he is in the Ultimate X match for the X-Division title. He says that he knows how important the X-Division is to this company. He says that after Sunday he will be representing the X-Division proudly with that title around his waist because Matt Hardy will not die!

Match 3

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Matt Hardy defeated Austin Aries and Chavo Guerrero Jr. in 18:17 when Matt Hardy defeated Chavo Guerrero Jr. by pinfall with a Twist of Fate.=C-

This was a huge victory for Matt Hardy as we move toward the Ultimate X match at Final Resolution. Hardy climbs to the top turnbuckle and throws up his sign. The crowd is solidly behind Hardy here as we prepare for Final Resolution. Could this be your next X-Division Champion?

To end the show, the announcers discuss TNA's Final Resolution pay-per-view event. We will see the ending of the TNA World Title Series as one of four men will become the TNA World Heavyweight Champion: Kurt Angle, CM Punk, Bobby Lashley or Ethan Carter III. Which of those four men will come out on top? We will also see AJ Brooks take on Brie Danielson where the winner receives a TNA Knockouts title shot, Vader taking on Bobby Roode and more. Make sure you tune in to TNA's Final Resolution live and only on pay-per-view!

TNA Final Resolution Preview!

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/FinalResolution.jpg

-We have finally reached the Final Resolution pay-per-view event. This is the final event in 2015 as TNA hails from Arnold Hall in Miami, Florida. We have eight matches scheduled for this event, including the ending of the TNA World Title Series. One of four men will walk out of the Arnold Hall with the TNA World Title belt. It could be
CM Punk
,
Kurt Angle
,
Ethan Carter III
or
Bobby Lashley
. Which man will walk away from Final Resolution with the title? Make sure you tune in and find out.

-The TNA Knockouts title will be on the line on this pay-per-view as we see the Knockouts champion
Gail Kim
take on the double tough
Awesome Kong
. These two women have a very long history with each other. Which of the two women will walk away with the Knockouts title on this night?

-The TNA World Tag Team titles will be on the line as
The Wolves
defend against the hardcore team of
Raven & Stevie Richards
. Raven's group known as The Gathering is starting to gain some steam here in TNA. The group, which consists of Raven, Stevie Richards and
Bram
, has taken to attacking The Wolves. The Wolves fired back with an old rival of Raven's:
Tommy Dreamer
. Could we see interference in this contest? You can almost bet on it. But only one team will walk away with the TNA World Tag Team titles.

-We will see
Tigre Uno
defend the TNA X-Division title in a six-way Ultimate X match. Competing in that match will be
Rob Van Dam
,
Matt Hardy
,
Doug Williams
,
Austin Aries
and
John Hennigan
. If Tigre Uno can win this match with legends of the X-Division he will prove that he is one of the best X-Division wrestlers and champions of all-time.

-Plus other action, including
AJ Brooks
versus
Brie Danielson
,
Vader
takes on
Bobby Roode
,
Ted DiBiase, Jr.
is in the building and more!

Comment: AJ is and should be the star of your Knockouts division, there's no way that Brie goes over

TNA World Tag Team Titles Match

The Wolves defend vs. Raven & Stevie Richards

Comment: Love Raven and Stevie, but their legend status should be used to put others over, not take away from up-and-comers

TNA Knockouts Title Match

Gail Kim defends vs. Awesome Kong

Comment: Gail's keeping that belt warm for AJ :D

Comments On The Diary/Previous Show: This diary goes from strength to strength every week, it's easy to forget how good TNA could be if booked well

Kurt Angle - Since I don't figure you'll go heel vs heel and I doubt Lashley is getting past EC3, then Angle picks up this one.

EC3

Tigre Uno - A win over all these guys will put him and the title over HUGE.

AJ Brooks - Outright better wrestler.

The Wolves - As much as I love me some Raven, their time is definitely passed.

Bobby Rooder - Likewise what I just said.

Gail Kim

EC3

TNA FINAL RESOLUTION!

Attendance: 7,460

Overall Rating: C+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/KurtAngle.jpg

[TNA Final Resolution begins with the sounds of 'Cult Of Personality' and the arrival of the self-proclaimed Best In The World CM Punk and his wife AJ Brooks. Punk kneels at the top of the ramp and then checks his empty wrist, proclaiming that it's clobbering time! He walks down the ramp and steps inside the ring with the crowd booing him in the background. Brooks hands Punk a microphone and he says that it was a disappointment to come out here to Miami, Florida. After all, all the great ones don't stay here. They leave Miami, like LeBron James did. He says that when he does leave Miami tonight it will be with the TNA World Heavyweight title belt around his waist. He says that he has proven over and over again that he is the best in the world and he will prove it again tonight when he beats an Olympic Gold Medalist. 'Gold Medal' interrupts the words of CM Punk and Punk smirks for just a moment as Kurt Angle rises up at the top of the ramp. Angle walks out, looking supremely confident. He high fives the fans along the way to the ring and then steps inside, being handed a microphone. Angle asks Punk if he really thinks that he can beat an Olympic Gold Medalist. He tells Punk that, tonight, he is going to get his opportunity to do just that. But, tonight, Kurt says, he is going to prove that he is better than the best in the world. Oh, it's real. It's damn real. Angle tosses away the microphone and it's time for our opening contest here at Final Resolution.]

Match #1

TNA World Title Series

Semifinals

CM Punk vs. Kurt Angle

[The opening contest here at Final Resolution is a semifinals match between CM Punk and Kurt Angle. The crowd gets settled in for what is a match with great action and great heat from the crowd here in Miami. Within the first minute, Angle goes for the Ankle Lock on Punk but Punk quickly scurries to the ropes. Angle maintains control early on until he gets distracted by the presence of AJ Brooks skipping around the ring and calling out his name. He looks outside the ring and Punk attacks him from behind, knocking him backward into a corner. Punk whips Angle across the ring and charges, catching Angle with the step-up high knee and then the bulldog out of the corner. Punk makes an early cover but scores only a one count on the Olympic Gold Medalist. Punk drags Angle outside the ring and Irish whips him hard into the barricade. Punk stalks Angle for a moment and then grabs him, sending him head-first into the ring post. He tosses Angle back in the ring and joins him back inside. Punk continues in control for the next few minutes, wearing Angle down and getting underneath the skin of the crowd here in Miami. Punk yells at a fan who is holding up a sign, reading: 'Please don't break Kurt!' Around the ten minute mark, Punk calls for the Go To Sleep. He lifts Angle up on his shoulders but Angle fires hard elbows into the skull of Punk. Angle drops down behind Punk and wraps his arms around Punk's waist -- German Suplex! Angle holds onto the waist of Punk -- German Suplex! Angle still holds on to Punk's waist and rolls back to his feet -- Release German Suplex! Both men lie on the mat, trying to catch their breath. The referee begins the ten count on both men. Both men get to their feet before the count reaches ten and begin exchanging punches in the center of the ring. Punk catches Angle with a kick to the back of the head. Angle falls to the mat and Punk moves in, trying to lock in the Anaconda Vise but Angle reverses -- Ankle Lock! Angle locks in the Ankle Lock on CM Punk! Punk fights in the hold, trying to break free. He raises his right hand, looking like he might tap out. But he suddenly twists around and kicks Angle, knocking him back in the turnbuckle. Punk pulls himself up as Angle staggers toward him. Punk lifts Angle on his shoulders -- Go To Sleep! Punk makes the cover: One, Two, Three! CM Punk advances to the finals!]

Winner: CM Punk (Via Pinfall @ 16:33)

TNA World Title Series

Semifinals

Ethan Carter III vs. Bobby Lashley

[The second match of the evening is the other semifinals match in the TNA World Title Series. One of these two men will face CM Punk for the TNA World Heavyweight title. The match begins with ECIII talking to Tyrus for a moment before meeting Lashley in the middle of the ring. ECIII reaches out and slaps Lashley, telling him that he doesn't even deserve to be in the same ring as ECIII. Lashley responds with a right hand punch and then takes the early advantage, lifting ECIII high in the air and slamming him down in the mat in a press slam fashion. ECIII grabs his back in pain and Lashley continues his control, bringing ECIII down with several clotheslines. Lashley lifts ECIII up and brings him back down with several short-arm shoulderblocks. Lashley gets the crowd fired up and continues with his assault on the unpinned and unsubmitted ECIII. He bounces off the ropes and Tyrus grabs his ankle from outside the ring. Lashley doesn't fall but does turn around, swiping at Tyrus. Tyrus backs up and ECIII strikes Lashley with a double axehandle to the back. ECIII takes full control of the contest, bringing Lashley down with a lung blower, twisting it into a crossface but Lashley refuses to submit. ECIII eventually releases the hold and lifts Lashley, bringing him back down to the mat with a swinging neckbreaker. ECIII calls for the One-Percenter but out from the back comes Matt Hardy. Hardy walks down to ringside and ECIII exits the ring, coming face-to-face with Matt Hardy. ECIII shoves Matt Hardy but Hardy doesn't retaliate. While ECIII and Hardy argue, this gives time for Bobby Lashley to recover. Lashley climbs out of the ring and brings down Tyrus with a clothesline. He turns to focus on ECIII, waiting for Carter to turn around -- Lashley spears Carter through the barricade! The barricade breaks with the impact, leaving ECIII in the first row! Lashley is the first to slowly reach his feet as the referee counts. Lashley manages to make it back in the ring at the count of nine and then the ten count is made and the referee calls for the bell. Bobby Lashley advances to the finals to take on CM Punk for the TNA World Heavyweight title!]

Winner: Bobby Lashley (Via Countout @ 11:58)

[We are taken to a backstage area where we see the TNA owner Bryan Danielson and Brie Danielson. Brie has a brace on her ankle from the attack by AJ Brooks. Bryan asks her how she's doing and she says that she is in a lot of pain right now but she wouldn't miss this show for anything. She says that tonight she is going to get some revenge on AJ Brooks and earn a TNA Knockouts title shot at the same time. Brie tries to put on a smile but leans up against a wall, wincing slightly in pain. Bryan asks her to go and see the doctor one more time just to get medically cleared for tonight. He says that he would hate for anything bad to happen to her. She just smiles and gives him a kiss before she limps off. He watches her for a long moment before we move back to the ring for our Ultimate X match.]

TNA X-Division Title Match

Ultimate X Match

Tigre Uno defends vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Matt Hardy vs. Austin Aries vs. Doug Williams vs. John Hennigan

[Our third match is a six-way Ultimate X match for the X-Division title. All six men hit the ring with their entrances and the fight is on from the outset. The men get paired off with the X-Division champion going after the newcomer John Hennigan, Rob Van Dam facing off with Doug Williams and Matt Hardy facing off with Austin Aries. Aries gets Hardy outside the ring and catches him with a suicide dive! The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived plays to a booing crowd before re-entering the ring and joining forces with Doug Williams. The two men stomp Rob Van Dam in the corner and then lift him up, bringing him over in a double suplex. Aries climbs the turnbuckle and goes for the wire but Williams grabs him by the legs, yanking him down. The two men go face-to-face and then begin exchanging punches. Tigre Uno comes flying into the camera as he brings John Hennigan over with a Super Frankensteiner. As the match continues, several wrestlers have shots at the TNA X-Division title but no one is able to bring it down without someone stopping them. A highlight of the match has Rob Van Dam setting John Hennigan on the top turnbuckle. He tosses a chair to Hennigan, who catches it. Then RVD climbs up and gives Hennigan a Van Daminator, knocking him off the turnbuckle to the floor below. The ending sees four men, Austin Aries, Rob Van Dam, Tigre Uno and Matt Hardy, all climbing the four ropes to get toward the belt. Hardy looks like he might get there first but Ethan Carter III enters the ring and yanks Hardy down, dropping Hardy with the One Percenter! The crowd boos this in the background as anticipation builds with the remaining three wrestlers on the wires. Aries and RVD meet at the title belt with Aries kicking at RVD. RVD lands a few kicks to The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived. One hard kick from both sends both of them to the mat, leaving Tigre Uno as the only man on the wire. Uno begins crawling toward the X-Division title and it looks like he might retain. He reaches for the belt and then gets yanked down by Austin Aries! Aries lifts Uno and brings him down with a Brainbuster! He gets to his feet and climbs the turnbuckles, leaping as far as he can along the wire. He moves himself hand over hand on the wire and then reaches out -- and pulls down the title! We have a new X-Division champion!]

Winner: Austin Aries (Via Title Retrieval @ 17:54)

Match Rating: C-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/TedDiBiase.jpg

[We are taken to the top of the ramp for the arrival of The Million Dollar Son Ted DiBiase, Jr.. The crowd boos this millionaire as he walks out and joins a small kid on the stage. He looks down at the kid and says that he has something special for this kid. If the kid can bounce a basketball ten times without stopping then he receives a one hundred dollar bill. That sounds fair, right? He even has a basketball brought over by a stagehand. DiBiase says that this kid has to do better than the Heat, right? He says he would have done something with a football but nobody's done anything decent with a football in this town since 1972. The boos reign in and the crowd is definitely behind this small boy. DiBiase waits for the boy to start and he watches as the boy begins to bounce the basketball. He gets one, two, three. Then he gets four, five, six, seven, eight, nine and DiBiase kicks the ball away from the kid! The crowd boos as DiBiase gives an 'oh no' look. The ball bounces away and off the stage as DiBiase says that the kid did as well as the Miami Heat, he came up short. The crying kid runs off and DiBiase releases a laugh as he says that everybody has a price for the Million Dollar Son. He turns and walks off to the back as we head back to the ring.]

Winner Receives A TNA Knockouts Title Match

AJ Brooks vs. Brie Danielson

[This is one of the more anticipated Knockouts matches in awhile as Brie Danielson had her ankle fractured by AJ Brooks. Brie comes down to the ring wearing a small brace on her ankle and limping but looking otherwise prepared for this contest against Brooks. The opening two minutes of this match were spent with Brooks going after the ankle of Danielson and Danielson trying to keep her ankle from being grabbed. Danielson takes control and brings Brooks over with a snapmare and then a rolling neck snap. She grabs her ankle for a moment before she comes over and makes a cover, scoring only a one count. Danielson gets to her feet and goes for the YES Lock as a sign raises that reads: 'Final YESolution!' Brooks manages to free herself before Danielson can lock the hold in and kicks Danielson in the back of the foot. Danielson goes down and Brooks goes right after the ankle. She removes the brace and stomps on the ankle, causing Danielson to cry out in pain. Brooks points and laughs at Danielson, keeping control over her by focusing on that injured ankle. Brooks lifts Danielson and brings her down with a swinging neckbreaker. She looks to the fans, laughing and skipping around the ring. Then she returns her attention to Danielson, lifting her up and locking in the Black Widow. With all the pain that Danielson is already in, she has no choice but to tap out.]

Winner: AJ Brooks (Via Submission @ 8:26)

[From there, we move to the backstage locker room area where The Wolves are shown pacing inside the small area. Davey Richards looks at his partner and says that there is no one in this industry that he would rather take with him through the fires of extreme than Eddie Edwards. He says that Raven and Stevie Richards have a lot of talk. They say a lot of words but it's actions that really matter. He says that he knows they are not just going to be facing Raven and Stevie Richards. They will also be facing Bram. Whenever you're facing The Gathering, you're facing every single member of them. Is it fair? No. But then the Wolves have never had everything simply handed to them. They earned each and every victory they have ever gotten, including beating legendary tag teams like Team 3D and The Hardys. But, tonight, Raven and Stevie Richards, the hunt is on. The two Wolves release howls and then turn and walk off. They must be headed to the ring because their match is next!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/JosephParks.jpg

[back at the ringside area, the cameras focus on the front row where Joseph Parks can be seen. Josh Mathews reminds us that we haven't seen Parks in a long time. His suit is wrinkled and has stains on it. Parks is looking down but when the cameras focus in on his eyes they seem to be staring out into space. It would appear that Parks is on some type of drug and is strung out as he sits in the front row. The announcers wonder just what he is doing here and where is Abyss? Perhaps, we will find out later on tonight. But we need to go to the ring for our next title bout.]

TNA World Tag Team Titles Match

The Wolves defend vs. Raven and Stevie Richards

[Tag team action is next as The Wolves defend the TNA World Tag Team titles against Raven and Stevie Richards. The match begins with a fourway brawl inside the ring. All four men get in some shots early on but The Wolves gain the advantage, sending Raven and Stevie Richards out of the ring. The Wolves quickly bounce off the ropes and catch both Raven and Richards with stereo suicide dives outside the ring. The Wolves both release howls and then re-enter the ring, waiting for both Raven and Stevie Richards. Stevie is sent in first to start with Davey Richards. The two men go back and forth in the ring until Stevie gains an advantage and drags Davey over to his corner, tagging in Raven. Raven drops an elbow on Davey and then lifts him up, sending him to the ropes and bringing him down with a drop toehold. Raven quickly tags out and Stevie comes in, catching Davey with a neckbreaker. Stevie backs Davey in the corner and throws some punches before he lifts up Davey and drops him with a snake eyes in the corner. Davey staggers around and Stevie rolls him up, scoring a two count on the pinfall. Stevie pulls himself up and prepares for Davey -- StevieKick -- NO! Davey avoids the kick and sweeps out the other leg of Stevie Richards. Davey crawls toward his corner as Bram comes running down to the ringside area. Tommy Dreamer comes behind Bram and has a steel chair in hand. Dreamer smashes the chair into the back of Bram as Eddie Edwards is tagged in! We have ourselves a good old fashioned brawl between the four men in the ring and Dreamer and Bram outside the ring. The Wolves catch Raven with the Force Of Nature but he's not the legal man in the ring. Stevie Richards catches Davey Richards with the StevieKick. Then, we have Joseph Parks stand up and cross the barricade, entering the ring. Parks looks between the standing wrestlers and then clotheslines down Eddie Edwards! The referee calls for the bell and an immediate disqualification!]

Winners: The Wolves (Via Disqualification @ 11:28)

[Josh Mathews and D'Angelo Dinero cry foul on Joseph Parks as the former lawyer puts the boots to The Wolves! The crowd boos in the background while Parks picks up Richards and swings him around with the Black Hole Slam! Parks looks to Raven, lifting him up to his feet and holding him steady. Stevie Richards stands up and puts the boots to Eddie Edwards! Tommy Dreamer slides in the ring and swings the chair, striking Parks in the side and the back. Stevie Richards strikes Dreamer with the StevieKick, sending him back down to the mat. Stevie jumps around, celebrating inside the ring. Raven stands over Tommy Dreamer for a moment, sneering down at him. He picks up Dreamer and hooks him for the Evenflow DDT but the lights in the arena go to darkness. The crowd here in Miami, Florida are surprised but wonder just what is going to happen. A single spotlight shines on Raven and Dreamer as they stand within the center of the ring with Raven holding Dreamer in the front facelock. 'Sandman Returns' begins to play and the crowd begins looking around. In the crowd, a familiar face can be seen.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/TheSandman.jpg

[This familiar face is The Sandman! The Sandman is standing in the audience with the Singapore cane held high and a cigarette hanging loosely in his mouth. The Sandman makes his way through the crowd, heading down to the ring. He gets met at the barricade by Stevie Richards, swinging the cane and striking Stevie in the head with the Singapore cane! The Sandman leaps the barricade and slides into the ring. He swings the cane and strikes Parks with it several times, sending Parks staggering back in a corner. He goes face-to-face with Raven in the center of the ring. Raven throws Tommy Dreamer to the mat and then extends his arms out on both sides in that cross fashion. The Sandman shrugs and strikes Raven with the cane! Raven falls to the mat and then rolls out of the ring, leaving The Sandman standing tall inside the ring. The Sandman helps up Tommy Dreamer and The Wolves start to stand. All four men stand together in the center of the ring with Dreamer extending his arms in that cross fashion. What a return here tonight for The Sandman!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/BobbyRoode.jpg

[From that fantastic return, we move to the backstage area where we see The IT Factor of Professional Wrestling Bobby Roode getting ready for his match tonight against the man they call Vader. He looks up in the camera and says that Vader is a coward. He attacked me after I had already wrestled a match. I was done for the night but he came in and he took me down. But the one problem is that, Vader, you didn't keep me down. You didn't do enough to keep the IT Factor away from TNA wrestling. I know that you're just here for a paycheck, Vader. You're just here trying to feed off what little star power that you have left. Tonight, that star power is going to be vanquished when you step in the ring with me. That glimmering star will be extinguished by The IT Factor. Then I am going to be right here waiting for the winner of the TNA World Title Series. I don't care whether it's CM Punk or whether it's Bobby Lashley. They need to know that they have the IT Factor in their rear view mirror. They will all learn that I am the best wrestler in this company. I love this company. I love TNA and I will be here until I die or the final nail is driven into this company. Vader, tonight is your last night. I promise you that. Roode turns and walks away, obviously heading to the ring because his match is next!]

Vader vs. Bobby Roode

[As one would expect, the next match tonight is a straight-up brawl between the larger Vader against the arguably more talented Bobby Roode. There was not a whole lot of catch as catch can wrestling here between these two men. Vader gets Roode in a corner early on and begins peppering him with forearm shots, beating Roode all the way down to a seated position in the corner before giving a few stomps. Vader picks up Roode and whips him across the ring to the opposite turnbuckle. Vader charges in but Roode moves out of the way and Vader crushes into the turnbuckle. Vader staggers out of the turnbuckle and Roode grabs him -- Double R Spinebuster! Roode makes a cover: One, Two, Kickout! Roode gets up and checks with the referee before picking up Vader. He swings Vader around and hooks him -- Roode Awakening Neckbreaker! Vader goes back down to the mat and Roode points to a sign, reading: 'That's so Roode!' Roode continues in control of Vader, wearing the larger wrestler down fairly quickly. Nearing eight minutes into the match, Roode calls for and connects with the Payoff Fisherman's Suplex. He holds a bridge: One, Two, Three!]

Winner: Bobby Roode (Via Pinfall @ 7:45)

Match Rating: D+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/BobbyRoode.jpg

[The IT Factor of Professional Wrestling Bobby Roode has picked up a big win and revenge on the man they call Vader. 'Off The Chain' begins playing in the background as Roode releases the Payoff and pulls his way to his feet. Referee Ric Manning steps in and raises the arm of Bobby Roode in victory. The crowd cheers loudly as Roode grabs the top rope to keep himself upright. Bringing a large man like Vader over in a Fisherman's Suplex cannot be an easy task. Roode is handed his King of the Mountain title belt and he raises the title belt up high in the air. He climbs to the second turnbuckle and takes in the cheers from the fans. Roode drops down and puts the belt around his waist, exiting the ring and walking toward the back. Bobby Roode has proved himself the King of the Mountain tonight against Vader.]

TNA Knockouts Title Match

Gail Kim defends vs. Awesome Kong

[Our semi main event match is a match for the TNA Knockouts title as Gail Kim faces off with the large number one contender in Awesome Kong. The two women meet in the center of the ring and Kim immediately starts throwing forearm shots to Kong, knocking her back a step. But Kong reaches out and shoves Kim to the mat. Kim pops back up and Kong clotheslines her down. Kong moves slowly, yanking up Kim and bringing her back to the mat with a body slam. She bounces off the ropes -- leg drop! Kong picks herself back up and bounces off the ropes -- another leg drop! Kong makes a cover: One, Two, Shoulder Up! Kong picks up Kim and Irish whips her into a corner. She charges in but Kim brings her feet up. Kong staggers backward and then tries charging again but Kim slips out to the apron and strikes Kong with a kick. Kong staggers backward and Gail Kim ascends the turnbuckles -- Missile Dropkick! Kong falls to the mat as the crowd cheers on Gail Kim. The announcers remind us that the winner of this match will have to face AJ Brooks sometime in the future. Gail Kim drops an elbow and makes a cover: One, Two, Kickout! The kickout sends Gail Kim flying! Awesome Kong begins pulling herself up and Gail Kim begins kicking her. The match moves forward with both women in control at different points in the contest. Kong is in control nearly ten minutes into the contest. She goes for the Implant Buster but Gail Kim flips around and rolls Kong into a cradle: One, Two, Three! Gail Kim defends her TNA Knockouts title!]

TNA World Title Series

Finals

TNA World Title Match

CM Punk vs. Bobby Lashley

[it is time for our main event and what a contest this should be as we see The Best In The World CM Punk take on The Destroyer Bobby Lashley. Punk comes out first, wearing a LeBron James Cleveland Cavaliers jersey. When he reaches the ring, he tosses it out in the crowd and a fan tosses it back to ringside. The crowd solidly boo Punk and Lashley comes out to a good ovation. The two men stand in separate corners as Jeremy Borash makes the introductions, announcing that this match is for the TNA World title and the ending of the TNA World Title Series. When the bell sounds, the two wrestlers circle each other as the announcers talk about the fact that CM Punk defeated Kurt Angle earlier tonight and Bobby Lashley defeated Ethan Carter III earlier tonight as well. Early in the match, Lashley exits the ring and grabs the LeBron James jersey, tearing it apart to a roar of ovations from the crowd. Lashley uses strips of the shirt to choke CM Punk without getting disqualified. Punk quickly exits the ring, joining AJ Brooks at ringside, trying to catch his breath. Punk re-enters the ring and comes face-to-face with Lashley again. The next few minutes are back and forth between the two with neither man gaining a distinct advantage until AJ Brooks distracts Lashley and Punk knocks him out of the ring. Punk climbs to the top turnbuckle and leaps, catching Lashley with a double axehandle to the back. Punk grabs Lashley by the back of the head and throws him into the barricade. Punk plays to the crowd, who boo him loudly. He grabs Lashley and tosses him back in the ring. Punk joins him inside, striking at Lashley and keeping him down on the mat. For several more minutes, Punk maintains control over Lashley. Punk lifts Lashley up and sets him on the top turnbuckle. Punk climbs up with him and turns Lashley, lifting the larger man up on his shoulders -- Super Bomb sends Lashley crashing to the mat. Punk makes a cover:]

[....1....

....2....

...Shoulder Up!]

[The crowd cheers when Lashley gets his shoulder up. Punk yells at the referee but the referee says it was only a two count. Punk remains in control, sending Lashley to the ropes and bringing him down with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. The crowd begins a 'Lashley' chant, trying to get him back into the match. Punk catches Lashley with the Punk-Handle Piledriver and then heads to the top turnbuckle. He looks down at Lashley and raises his arms in the air ala Randy Savage. He leaps with the Diving Elbow Drop -- Lashley rolls out of the way! Punk connects hard on the mat, grabbing his arm in pain as he lays there. Lashley has the crowd clapping and stomping their feet and he uses that momentum to get a second wind. Both Punk and Lashley make it to their feet around the same time. Punk charges Lashley and Lashley lifts Punk in the air, dropping him with a press slam! The Destroyer looks strong as he brings Punk down with two straight clotheslines and then a delayed vertical suplex, during which he walks around the ring holding Punk upside down. There is a slight distraction as the new X-Division Champion Austin Aries and Thea Trinidad walk out from the back and walk down to the ringside area, joining AJ Brooks at ringside. But Lashley is still in control and he lifts CM Punk up on one shoulder -- Dominator Running Powerslam! Lashley makes the cover:]

[....1....

....2....

...Austin Aries puts CM Punk's foot across the ropes]

[The referee did not see the interference by Austin Aries but did see Punk's foot on the ropes, which ended the count before the three count. Instead of arguing about it, Lashley just gets to his feet and stomps on the chest of CM Punk. He turns Punk on his stomach and locks in a full nelson, showing his absolute strength as he lifts Punk from the mat with the full nelson and then drops him with a full nelson slam! The crowd cheers loudly but Lashley staggers back into a corner, showing that move took some strength out of him. The Destroyer bends over in the corner, motioning for Punk to get to his feet. He's calling for the Spear! Punk slowly pulls himself up and Lashley charges -- SPEAR! No, Punk moved and the spear caught the referee! Referee Earl Hebner is down and out. He may have broken the referee in half! Lashley sees what he did and checks on Hebner but this gives Punk time to recover. Punk gets to his feet and catches Lashley with a kick to the back of the head. Lashley stumbles into a corner and Punk charges -- Step-Up High Knee in the corner, followed by the bulldog! Punk motions to Austin Aries and the X-Division champion enters the ring with his belt. Aries waits as Lashley pulls himself up. He runs toward Lashley -- belt shot across the eyes! Aries takes down Lashley with the belt shot and the Destroyer is down and down hard. Aries exits the ring and Punk grabs Bobby Lashley, keeping him down on the mat. Punk twists Lashley around -- Anaconda Vise! Punk has the Anaconda Vise locked in tight! Another official, Ric Manning, comes running down and enters the ring, asking Lashley if he wants to submit.]

[....Referee Ric Manning asks Lashley if he wants to submit but Lashley refuses....

....Lashley raises a hand, looking like he might tap out....

....Lashley lowers the hand and the crowd gets solidly behind him....

....Lashley somehow lifts both himself and Punk upward and then drops them both down to the mat, breaking the hold....]

[The new referee checks on both men but both refuse to stay down despite everything that has happened in this match. They each crawl over to neutral corners and begin pulling themselves to their feet. They turn and stagger toward one another, beginning to throw some punches when they meet in the center of the ring. CM Punk catches Bobby Lashley with a kick to the ribs. Lashley steps in and grabs Punk around the waist -- side belly-to-belly suplex. Lashley stands up and roars, getting another wind as the crowd is solidly cheering him on. The Destroyer picks up CM Punk and brings him to the mat with a thrust spinebuster. He looks down at CM Punk and then moves over to a corner, perching in the corner and waiting for Punk to regain his footing. He's making motions, absolutely begging for Punk to stand up. Punk slowly begins to stagger upward toward his feet. Lashley takes aim at Punk and then charges for the Spear but Punk sidesteps and catches Lashley with a Pele Kick! Lashley goes down to a knee and Punk moves in, picking up Lashley somehow onto his shoulders -- Go To Sleep! Punk drops Lashley with the GTS! Punk makes a cover, hooking the leg:]

[We have a brand new TNA World Heavyweight Champion and his name is CM Punk! AJ Brooks grabs the title belt and slides into the ring with the belt in her hand. She gives a crazy smile and skips around the ring, skipping around her husband as he is slow to even get up from the pinfall over Bobby Lashley. Austin Aries and Thea Trinidad enter the ring with Aries raising the X-Division title. Brooks leans down and kisses her husband, helping him to his feet as 'Cult Of Personality' begins to play in the background. Confetti pours down from the ceiling of Arnold Hall and the crowd boos as CM Punk takes the TNA World Heavyweight title belt and raises it up in the air. CM Punk and Austin Aries hug and then both of them raise their title belts. We have the seen the rise of Better Than You here tonight at TNA Final Resolution. This has been a great night of TNA action! Thank you for watching(reading) and we will see you Wednesday night for TNA Impact Wrestling!]

TNA Impact Wrestling Preview!

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/Impact.jpg

-Final Resolution has come and gone and now we are just two weeks away from TNA Genesis, which will be live and only on pay-per-view. We have a brand new TNA World Champion as
CM Punk
defeated
Bobby Lashley
at Final Resolution. We, also, have a brand new TNA X-Division Champion as
Austin Aries
turned away five other competitors in an Ultimate X match to walk away with the gold. Both of these men have stated that they will have a new champions celebration this week on Impact Wrestling before leaving the building to celebrate. What will happen during this celebration?

-We also saw some interference in two matches that affected the outcome of those matches as
Matt Hardy
distracted
Ethan Carter III
, causing Carter to take a spear through the barricade and lose his match. ECIII, in turn, interfered in the Ultimate X match, insuring that Matt Hardy would not walk away with the X-Division title.
Bryan Danielson
has decided that these two men will meet in the ring on this edition of Impact Wrestling. It should be an explosive match.

-This week, also, features the TNA debut of the team known as
Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team
. Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin have won tag team gold in every promotion the two of them have been in. They have stated that they will win tag team gold here in TNA but their first challenge are the team of
Brian Myers
and
Trevor Lee
, former TNA World Tag Team Champions. Can Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team score the win in their debut match?

-After losing in the semifinals of the TNA World Title Series,
Kurt Angle
has not been available for comment. Instead, he is said to be reflecting on his long career in professional wrestling and where he wants to move forward from here. We are being told that he will be in the building and he will be making a special announcement here on Impact Wrestling. Make sure you tune in to find out just what that announcement is.

Raven & Stevie Richards vs. DJ Zema Ion and Robbie E

Comment: Tough call as I love DJZ, but I think Raven & Stevie might bring it in for the win.

Taryn Terrell vs. Madison Rayne

Comment: Hard pick agian, two good female wrestlers.

Brian Myers and Trevor Lee vs. Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team

Comment: WGTT will probably present a good threat to the Wolves.

Doug Williams vs. Rob Van Dam

Comment: Two vets here, and a hard pick, but I just think Williams has more to do here in TNA at his point. RVD has already held the big gold, and Williams is probably further from retirement by a bit.

Ethan Carter III vs. Matt Hardy

Comment: Man, tough card to call!

Fun Fan Signs:

Comments On The Diary/Previous Show: Loved the show! Everything was very well written, and I think it was cool to have Aries and Punk stand tall. I should've seen it coming. You could probably have them claim the tag titles at some point, and then have one of them beat the other for all the gold, kind of a mix between what happened with Angle vs. Joe for all the gold and what the Dirty Heels were going for back in the day when they won the tag straps.

Good stuff, angel. Very. :D
