Background Information

Good morning/afternoon/prevening/evening to everyone that has taken time out of their lives to take a look at this diary. This diary is angeldelayette presenting his take on Total Nonstop Action Wrestling beginning in the month of December and the year of 2015. I have done many diaries in the past, both Cornellverse and Real World. But this is part of my return after around a three month absence due to computer issues.

 

It has been a long time since I created a diary with TNA. This means that there will be some brand new characters that I can work with that I haven't worked with before or in a long time. However, I will say beginning here that there will be some times that are not completely realistic. Those times will generally be wrestlers coming in on a full time basis that are not and probably would not ever do so in real life. But the good thing about the game is that I can make those decisions myself.

Eisen-verse - Another amazing diary writer. He is another one of my friends and always offers good advice when I need it. Here at PromotionWars.com, we are dedicated to bringing you the best and most up-to-date knowledge in the professional wrestling industry. We have learned from one of our inside sources that, the day before Thanksgiving,

called the entire TNA roster into a meeting and announced to them that she is leaving the wrestling industry. We have learned that she cited some health issues and money issues as to why she has chosen to sell her shares of TNA wrestling. When she was asked who was buying the company, she said that she signed a nondisclosure agreement. She said that the new owner would be revealed on the very first TNA Impact Wrestling of December, a live television show.

 

Here at PromotionWars.com, we have attempted to use the FOIA to get the records of the business trade but we have not received any information at this point in time. This is huge as TNA is in the middle of what they are calling the 'World Title Series.' They have reached the final sixteen men and women wrestlers who will have the opportunity at obtaining the TNA World title. ['Ladies and Gentlemen, E C III' 'Trouble' begins to play as the show begins live here in the Deerfield Sports Complex in Deerfield Florida. Josh Matthews and D'Angelo Dinero welcome everyone to the show as Ethan Carter III walks out from the back to loud boos from this crowd. Carter enters the ring with a microphone in hand and says that he was very disappointed when he learned that his Aunt D sold the company to someone who is not a Carter. He says that he would have gladly taken control from her and his first move would have been to end the World Title Series and just give himself the TNA World title. He says that the wrestling world needs someone like him as the World Champion of the only company that really matters. He says that this is the best professional wrestling company in the world and he is part of that one percent that deserve the very best. That is why he is going to walk through the fifteen other wrestlers in the World Title Series and reclaim what is rightfully his. After all, what other wrestlers are there in the World Title Series that can beat him?]

 

[Ask and ye shall receive, as 'Rogue And Cold Blooded' begins to play and out from the back comes the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Matt Hardy! The crowd is solidly behind Hardy as he walks directly to and then into the ring. Carter asks Matt Hardy why he is out here interrupting the moment for the One Percenter. Hardy says that he may have given up the TNA World title once but that is not going to happen a second time. Hardy says that he hopes that he comes one on one with Carter in this tournament so that he can be the first man to pin Carter or force him to submit. Carter shakes his head, saying that Hardy is not good enough to beat him. That's why he had his brother do an assault at Bound For Glory. Carter reminds Hardy that he pinned Drew Galloway, not the champion at the time. Hardy is about to respond but Carter adds that he is sick of sharing his ring with guys like Matt Hardy so he's going to go and get ready for his match tonight. Carter turns to leave and then tries to clothesline Hardy but Hardy ducks -- Side Effect from Matt Hardy! ECIII rolls out of the ring and stares up toward Matt Hardy. Could these two men go one on one in the tournament?]

Drew Galloway vs. Bobby Lashley

 

[Our first match of the night in the TNA World Title Series features Drew Galloway taking on The Destroyer Bobby Lashley. Both of these men are fan favorites so the crowd is split down the middle during this bout. Galloway does his best to use some fast-paced wrestling against the obviously more powerful Bobby Lashley. Galloway scores an early near-fall on Lashley with a Northern Lights Suplex. Galloway goes for a belly-to-belly suplex but Lashley blocks it and runs Galloway back into a corner, slamming him hard against the turnbuckle. Lashley shows his power by yanking Galloway up on his shoulder and running forward with a powerslam but Galloway kicks out at two. Galloway gets another brief burst of momentum, bringing Lashley over with a powerslam of his own and then yelling to the fans. A sign goes up that reads: 'Galloway's Crossing Your Way!' Galloway sets up Lashley for the Future Shock DDT but Lashley powers his way out and brings down Galloway with a clothesline. Lashley moves to a corner, waiting for Galloway to get to his feet -- SPEAR! Lashley nearly breaks Galloway in half! Lashley makes the cover: One, Two, Three! Lashley advances!]

[We are taken to the backstage area where we find Mr. Anderson pacing around and then looking up at the camera. The cameraman says that we haven't seen Mr. Anderson since he lost in the TNA World Title Series and lost his chance at becoming the next TNA World Champion. Anderson gives the camera a look, saying that he knows that he frickin' lost his opportunity in the TNA World Title Series. He knows that he lost his opportunity at Bound For Glory when that big man Tyrus won the Gauntlet For The Gold match. But that doesn't mean that this asshole isn't going to be around. As a matter of fact, he says, he wants a match next week. He wants a match against the man who won the Gauntlet For The Gold: Tyrus. He says that this will be a new day for Mr. Anderson, the leader of the Asshole Coalition! Anderson turns and walks off as we head back to the ring for our second match of the night.]

[Our second match of the night is, quite frankly, a match that has the fans pretty bored here in Deerfield, Florida. Mahabali Shera tries to get the crowd involved early on with his Shera Shake dance moves but only a few fans repeat the moves back to the large Indian athlete. Shera catches Eli Drake with a few clotheslines and a sign goes up in the background, reading: 'Eli Who?' Shera does the Shera Shake again but this gives Drake a little bit of time to recover. He catches Shera with some punches and drags Shera into the turnbuckle. Drake rams some shoulders into the gut of Shera and plays to some boos from the crowd. Drake ducks a quick clothesline attempt by Shera and then rolls him up, using a handful of trunks: One, Two, Three! Eli Drake advances!]

[We are taken to a pre-recorded interview featuring the It Factor of Professional Wrestling Bobby Roode. Roode says that you are looking at the man that is the King of the Mountain here in TNA Wrestling, a TNA original Bobby Roode. He is no Johnny Come Lately here in TNA like his opponent tonight Matt Hardy. He says that Matt Hardy is a great wrestler. But he's not the It Factor of Professional Wrestling. He's not the best singles wrestler in the history of TNA Wrestling. He's not the best tag team wrestler in the history of TNA Wrestling. All of those things belong to the It Factor and he says he's going to prove it tonight against Matt Hardy. Then he's going to prove it against every single competitor in the TNA World Title Series. Whether it's taking on Ethan Carter III or Lashley or Eli Drake, they are all going to fall to the It Factor. This is why he is the It Factor. Roode walks off as we head back to the ring.]

[Lately, we've seen the budding feud between The Dollhouse and The Beautiful People. During Madison Rayne's entrance, the camera catches a sign reading: 'I want to see Madison Rayne's Abyss!!!' The action inside the ring is definitely back and forth between these two females as they try to gain an advantage for their respective stables. The announcers let everyone know that Angelina Love is pregnant so she is going to be on the sidelines for quite a bit of time, giving The Dollhouse a definite numbers advantage. Terrell takes the advantage on Rayne during the match, Terrell catches Rayne with a flying clothesline and then a monkey flip. Terrell goes for a dropkick but Rayne avoids the legs of the blonde. Rayne catches Terrell with the Scissors Stomp and then the Rayne Drop. Rayne makes the cover: One, Two, Three! Madison Rayne picks up a huge victory here tonight!]

[A locker room area is shown featuring the TNA World Tag Team Champions The Wolves. Eddie Edwards tells Davey Richards that next week he has a chance to move forward in the TNA World Title Series. He says that he is very proud of his partner and how far his partner has come in this industry. But he reminds him that the two of them are the TNA World Tag Team Champions. So at Final Resolution there will be a TNA World Tag Team titles match. But Edwards tells Richards not to worry about that right now. They need to worry about Davey Richards stepping in the ring with Bram next week on TNA Impact Wrestling. Richards says that he would not be the first person to hold both the TNA World Heavyweight title and the TNA World Tag Team titles. But, he says, he will be the next man to do so because the hunt is on and The Wolves are hungry. The two release howls and throw up the Wolves sign before we head back to the ring.]

Ethan Carter III vs. DJ Zema Ion

 

[Our semi main event match features another in the TNA World Title Series as the unpinned and unsubmitted Ethan Carter III takes on DJ Zema Ion. As Carter and Tyrus make their entrance, a sign is shown in the background, reading: 'Trouble! Trouble! Trouble!' Carter and Ion meet in the center of the ring and Ion goes for a quick roll-up on Carter, scoring a two count. The first minute has Ion doing various roll-ups on Carter, trying to secure a quick pinfall but Carter kicks out each and every time. Carter rolls out of the ring to catch a breather. Ion goes for a suicide dive but Carter moves and Ion crashes and burns into the barricade. Carter rolls Ion back in the ring and starts in control of the X-Division athlete. Carter sends Ion face-first into the turnbuckle and then brings him over with a German Suplex with a bridge, scoring a two count. A 'You Can't Wrestle' chant begins and Carter yells at the fans at ringside before continuing his assault on DJ Zema Ion. A couple of signs show up in the background as Carter locks in a reverse chinlock: 'One man's Bateman is another man's Carter!' and 'Whose Carter is a Bateman?' DJ Zema Ion uses the crowd to pull himself back to his feet and elbows his way out of the hold. Zema catches Carter with a dropkick and then a neckbreaker. Ion sets up Carter -- Springboard DDT! Ion makes the cover but Tyrus has the referee's attention! Ion stands up and waits for Carter to get up -- Hurricanrana -- Caught by Carter -- Sit-Out Power Bomb! Carter quickly grabs Ion -- One Percenter! Carter makes the cover: One, Two, Three! Ethan Carter III advances!]

[A pre-recorded video begins focusing on Kenny King. King looks in the camera and says that the King of the Night is back here in TNA and in the TNA World Title Series. King says that his focus is the first round in the round of sixteen where his opponent is going to be that crazy freak Eric Young. King says that he once thought he had an alliance with Eric Young. He had a few friends back in those days and thought that EY was on his side but everyone knows that Eric Young is focused just on himself. So The King of the Night is going to be focused just on himself next week on TNA Impact Wrestling. King says that when Final Resolution comes and goes, he is going to be the King of not only the Night but he's also going to be the King of TNA as he walks out the TNA World Heavyweight Champion. King looks confident in his words as we fade to the ring and our main event contest this evening.]

Bobby Roode vs. Matt Hardy

 

[What a main event we have for you this evening as two fan favorites go one on one in this TNA World Title Series match. As one would expect, the first ten minutes of this bout go truly back and forth without any one wrestler gaining a long, distinctive advantage. Outside the ring, Bobby Roode takes Matt Hardy and runs him face-first into the ring post at around the nine minute mark, gaining control of the match. The It Factor returns the match inside the ring and Irish whips Hardy into the turnbuckle. He runs in and Hardy catches him with a back elbow. Hardy climbs to the top turnbuckle and drops Roode with the Asai Moonsault for a two count. Hardy claps his hands, getting the crowd to clap right along with him as he waits for Roode to get to his feet -- Side Effect! Hardy drops Roode with the Side Effect! He makes the cover, hooking the leg: One, Two, Kickout! Roode still has some energy left in his body. Hardy looks a little frustrated at the moment. Hardy goes for the Twist of Fate but Roode blocks and sends Hardy to the ropes -- Double R Spinebuster! Roode crawls over and makes the cover:]

[Roode checks with the referee and then goes back to work on Hardy. He catches Hardy with the Northern Lariat and then picks him up, setting him up -- Roode Awakening Neckbreaker! Roode yells at Hardy that this is why he's the It Factor Of Professional Wrestling! He points toward a couple of signs in the crowd: 'IT Factor for the win!' and 'I love Bobby Rooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!' Roode grabs Hardy and hooks him with the Crossface! Roode stretches Hardy with that submission hold but Hardy refuses to submit. Roode leans further backward but Hardy works himself over to the ropes, using the ropes to break the Crossface. Roode releases and stomps on Hardy before pulling him up and setting him on the top turnbuckle. Roode climbs up and hooks Hardy for a Superplex but Hardy begins throwing punches, blocking the Superplex attempt! He shoves Roode to the mat and then throws up the Hardy sign before leaping and catching Roode with a diving legdrop! Hardy makes the cover: One, Two, Kickout! Hardy yanks Roode up and sets him up for the Twist of Fate -- Blocked by Roode -- Roode pulls Hardy on his shoulder -- Roode Bo -- Hardy blocks the Roode Bomb attempt! He drops down in front of Roode -- Twist of Fate! Hardy makes a cover:]

[Matt Hardy advances in the TNA World Title Series! He exits the ring, getting his arm raised and headed to the back. Inside the ring, Bobby Roode is slow to get to his feet, using the ropes for leverage. He looks definitely upset at himself for losing this match. But he has to give a focus as the crowd is shocked when Vader makes his TNA return! Vader slides inside the ring and comes face-to-face with Roode before throwing smashing forearm shots to the head and face of Bobby Roode! Vader knocks Roode back in a corner and splashes him inside the corner! Roode falls to the mat and Vader yells at the crowd, asking 'Who's the man?' The crowd boos this return of the veteran. The announcers are shocked as Vader climbs to the second turnbuckle and catches Roode with the Vader Bomb! Vader throws up the 'V' sign with his hands, looking down for a moment at Roode. He places a few well-timed stomps to the head of Roode and then exits the ring, passing a sign reading: 'You So Roode!']

[When the ring is cleared, Mike Tenay walks out from the back and steps inside the ring. The announcers let everyone know that this is the moment that everyone has been waiting for. This is the moment where we will find out who the new Owner of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling is. In the background, a couple of signs are shown: '#NeedsMoreManik' and 'I got in for free!' Tenay tells everyone that earlier this week we found out that Dixie Carter sold TNA Wrestling to a brand new investor and that she has left the professional wrestling business. He says that they wish her the best of luck in the future at whatever she chooses to do. A brief clip of her press conference making this announcement is shown and then the focus returns to the ring and Mike Tenay. Tenay says that he has been given the duty and the honor of introducing the brand new owner of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. So will that new owner please come out to the ring.]

[Loud 'YES' chants explode in the arena as 'The American Dragon' Bryan Danielson and his wife Brie Danielson stand at the top of the ramp. The announcers are going absolutely crazy as well! Bryan Danielson and Brie Danielson enter the ring and Bryan gives a hug to the Professor. Bryan takes a microphone and the first thing he says is that it feels great to be here on Impact Wrestling Where Wrestling Matters! He says that he and his beautiful wife spent a lot of time in another promotion where the word 'wrestling' was considered taboo. That was an insult to him and to a lot of the wrestlers that plied their craft each and every evening. He says that he gave his all to the fans every single night and that is why he unfortunately had to retire from wrestling. After speaking with his doctor, he made the decision to retire from that other promotion. That enabled him to speak with Dixie Carter about making a little purchase. He is proud to say that he is the new owner of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. But now he needs to talk about the TNA World Title Series. He says that this has been a great tournament so far but he has made the decision that there needs to be some changes. One of those changes is that he has spoken with Gail Kim and Awesome Kong and they will no longer be a part of the TNA World Title Series. Instead, they will have a match at Final Resolution for the TNA Knockouts title, proving that TNA has the best female wrestling in the world. With that decision made, it means that there are two slots that need to be filled in the tournament. These two slots will be filled by two wrestlers who were not part of the group rounds. Introducing the man who will replace Awesome Kong...]

[The sounds of 'Gold Medal' bring the Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle out from the back. He walks to the ring and steps inside, shaking hands with Bryan Danielson. Angle has a microphone and says that he was very honored to get this phone call from Mr. Danielson. As everyone knows, Impact Wrestling is where Wrestling Matters and who better to represent TNA than an Olympic Gold Medalist? Bryan says that he has a lot of respect for Mr. Angle and everything that he has done for this industry. But he is still going to have to earn the TNA World title just like everyone else in the tournament. Bryan says that Kurt Angle will be replacing Awesome Kong in the tournament but that leaves one more spot. That spot is the man who is going to replace Gail Kim in the tournament. Bryan calls out the man who he hand-picked to be in the tournament...]

[The crowd here in Florida goes nuts as CM Punk and AJ Brooks walk out from the back and stand at the top of the ramp. Punk smiles and bends down for a moment before yelling 'It's clobbering time!' Punk and Brooks walk down to the ring and step inside. Punk goes face-to-face with Kurt Angle for a long and tense moment. Then Punk takes a step back, lifting a microphone and saying that the only reason he has come back to professional wrestling is as a personal favor to an old friend of his, Bryan Danielson. He still stands behind his word that he is better than each and every professional wrestler in this promotion and any promotion. As a matter of fact, he is the best in the world at whatever he chooses to do. He is even better than an Olympic Gold Medalist. Angle asks him if that's so? Why doesn't he try to prove it right now? Punk shakes his head and says he has no interest in fighting Kurt Angle without something on the line. That means that when the tournament comes around, he hopes that Angle wins and has to face him. AJ takes the microphone from her husband and says that for those of you who don't know, her name is AJ Brooks and she is the only Knockout in this company worth talking about. She says that she is that much better than that skank right over there hiding behind the owner's skirt. Brie steps around Daniel and comes face-to-face with AJ but CM Punk steps between them. Punk gets taken down by Kurt Angle! Angle is throwing punches to Punk! The two of them begin rolling around on the mat! Bryan Danielson calls out to security and the ring is flooded by security and road agents as the show goes off the air! We'll see you next week! What an ending!]
