Weekly Releases For TNA Continue!

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/TNA.jpg

It seems to be an ongoing trend in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling that there are releases every single week.
Bryan Danielson
does not seem afraid of bringing wrestlers in for tryout matches and then releasing them if they do not wrestle up to his standards. He also seems able to bring in wrestlers and release them shortly after bringing them in. Two wrestlers who wrestled at this past Sunday's Final Resolution have been released. Those two wrestlers are veterans
Vader
and
John Hennigan
.

Vader had been embroiled in a feud with
Bobby Roode
over the King of the Mountain title. Roode scored a clean pinfall victory over Vader at Final Resolution in a match where Vader showed some definite inconsistency inside the ring. With Roode scoring the clean win, Vader had nowhere to go in TNA.

John Hennigan, it is being said, was brought in simply as a participant in the Ultimate X match. It is said that he was brought in to give a little bit of star power to that match. He has made his return to Lucha Underground following the brief stint in TNA.

Also released from TNA is the wrestler known as
Crazzy Steve
. Steve was relegated to XPlosion in the last month of his career in TNA. He was a fun comedy act but TNA seems to be turning toward more serious wrestling with the focus on wrestlers such as CM Punk and Austin Aries.

Ethan Carter III vs. Matt Hardy

Comment: Man, tough card to call!

Comments On The Diary/Previous Show: Loved the show! Everything was very well written, and I think it was cool to have Aries and Punk stand tall. I should've seen it coming. You could probably have them claim the tag titles at some point, and then have one of them beat the other for all the gold, kind of a mix between what happened with Angle vs. Joe for all the gold and what the Dirty Heels were going for back in the day when they won the tag straps.

Good stuff, angel. Very. :D

It's comments like these that definitely keep my fire going for writing. I am glad you're enjoying the shows so far, Kijar and that the Final Resolution pay-per-view was worthy of being a PPV show. I have thought about the whole thing with Angle and Joe. Is it a possibility in the future? Maybe. Of course, I won't give away any spoilers here but both men will have some tough challenges in the future just to keep the titles they have. I am glad, though, that the Final Resolution was written well enough to keep up with my own high standards of writing.

Comments On The Diary/Previous Show: Awesome job so far, I am looking forward to what you do next.

Thanks a lot for that, Warhawk8492. As I said earlier with Kijar, I am glad that people are enjoying the job I am doing with TNA so far. I can admit that I am going a little into fantasy land with some of my signings and just the fact that Bryan Danielson is the new owner. But it makes my TNA a little bit different to some of the other TNA diaries. Not better, not worse, but different.

Brian Myers and Trevor Lee vs. Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team

Comment: WOO, Shelton! WOO, Charlie Haas! Really hope you reform Team Angle for one last run

Comments on previous show: Great show, I was pleased to see Punk get the belt, even if it meant EC3 had to be beaten by LASHLEY

Glad to see that people are happy about my bringing in Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team. These two guys are some of the best both singles and tag teams in the history of wrestling. As far as Team Angle goes? You'll just have to wait and see. :)

Glad you enjoyed the Final Resolution show. I am sure there was a bit of a shock in Lashley beating ECIII but ECIII remains unpinned and unsubmitted. You can bet he won't be happy about the way he lost that match. ;)

TNA IMPACT WRESTLING!

Wednesday Week 1 January 2016

Location: WA Bohler Gymnasium (North West)

Attendance: 2,923

Overall Rating: B-

TV Rating: .70

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/CMPunk.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/AustinAries.jpg

[impact Wrestling is live on Destination America in the Bohler Gymnasium in Pullman, Washington. This is the first show of the new calendar year and there are nearly 3,000 fans in attendance here at Washington State University. Josh Mathews and D'Angelo Dinero welcome everyone to the show but before they can preview the matches tonight they are interrupted by 'Cult of Personality' playing over the speakers. Out from the back comes the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk and the new TNA X-Division Champion Austin Aries. The crowd boos as Punk and Aries walk down to the ring and step inside together. Both men have microphones and both men start to talk at the same time. They interrupt each other a couple more times and then Aries motions to Punk to start. Punk thanks Aries and says that before he came to TNA, everyone was asking him on social media 'when are you coming back to pro wrestling?' They said 'We want you back here in pro wrestling.' 'Please come back. We miss you.' So he comes back and not only does he come back, he wins the TNA World Heavyweight title and you all have the nerve to boo him? You have the nerve to boo the Greatest Man Who Ever Lived? Let me explain something to you people. If you keep booing me while I am talking, I might just walk out of this company with the TNA World title and never come back. You are all just a bunch of morons and marks and internet geeks. You're not even worthy of having Austin and myself in your building. So, I'll tell you what, we can accommodate that. Punk motions to Aries to leave the ring with him. As they turn to go, 'The Final Countdown' interrupts them.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/BryanDanielson.jpg

[The crowd here in Washington goes absolutely crazy with 'YES' chants exploding in the arena. The TNA Owner Bryan Danielson walks out from the back and begins leading the YES chants on his way down to the ring. He steps inside and looks across toward CM Punk and Austin Aries with a big smile on his face. He says that he knew there was a chance that this could happen. There was a chance that both CM Punk and Austin Aries would walk out of Final Resolution as champions. He says that he would like to congratulate both of them on their wins. With that being said, here in TNA, we don't just rest on what we did this past Sunday. Danielson says that tonight these fans here in the great state of Washington deserve a TNA World title match! That is exactly what they are going to get! CM Punk goes absolutely ballistic inside the ring. Aries has to hold Punk back from Punk getting physical with Danielson. Danielson just smiles and says that tonight on Impact Wrestling CM Punk is going to defend the TNA World title against the man who stands up for professional wrestling Drew Galloway! The winner of that match moves on to TNA Genesis in less than two weeks to face the man that CM Punk beat to get that title: The Destroyer Bobby Lashley! Punk says that Danielson cannot do that! He says he's leaving the building. Danielson shrugs and says that's Punk's choice. But if Punk is NOT there to defend the title tonight in our main event then Punk will forfeit the title and it will be handed to Drew Galloway. Danielson's music plays and he starts the YES chants again as he plays to the crowd before exiting the ring.]

COMING TONIGHT!

Match #1

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/Raven.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/StevieRichards.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/VS.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/DJZemaIon.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/RobbieE.jpg

Raven & Stevie Richards vs. DJ Zema Ion and Robbie E

[The Gathering comes out to the ring to boos from the crowd here in Washington. Raven slumps in a corner as DJ Zema Ion blows his airhorn in the corner. Stevie Richards starts the match with Robbie E. Robbie plays the face-in-peril, being sent over to the corner of The Gathering where they use frequent tags and double team moves to keep Robbie E down on the mat. During the match, the announcers talked about The Gathering losing at Final Resolution against The Wolves and the return of The Sandman following that match. The Gathering is growing and so is the group facing off with The Gathering. Later in the match, static appears on the screen, filling it with snow. Words appear slowly on the screen, stating 'I'm taking over the production of Impact Wrestling. I control the horizontal. I control the vertical. It is mine.' The static appears again and then we move back to the ring where Robbie E fights back and makes a hot tag to DJ Zema Ion. Ion comes in and goes right after both Raven and Stevie Richards. He catches them both with Frankensteiners. He goes for the 450 Splash but Raven rolls out of the way and Ion lands hard on his chest. Raven quickly grabs him and hooks him in a front facelock -- Evenflow DDT! The DDT plants Ion and Raven turns him over, making the cover: One, Two, Three!]

Winners: Raven & Stevie Richards (Via Pinfall @ 7:51)

Match Rating: D-

[The rest of the members of The Gathering come out and join Raven and Stevie Richards in the ring. Raven gets on the microphone and says that it is all Tommy Dreamer's fault that he doesn't have the World Tag Team titles tonight. He says that if Dreamer has any guts, he'll come into this ring right now and face him. Raven tosses a microphone and motions for The Gathering to exit the ring. Raven is left in the ring on his own as 'Dreamer' begins to play and Tommy Dreamer rushes out to the ring, sliding in underneath the bottom rope. He begins exchanging punches with Raven and immediately The Gathering swarm the ring, assaulting Tommy Dreamer. It was definitely a set up! Joseph Parks catches Dreamer with a Black Hole Slam before the howl of the Wolves is heard and The Wolves come running to the ring to help even the odds. Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards go after Stevie Richards and Bram! Another man moves through the crowd and down to the ring. It's The Sandman! The Sandman made his return this past Sunday night to help The Wolves and Tommy Dreamer. He joins in this brawl with his Singapore cane! He is giving everyone cane shots! The Sandman is swinging at everything that moves! Raven rolls out of the ring and calls his Gathering to him. Once again, The Wolves, Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman stand tall inside the ring.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/AJBrooks.jpg

[From the ring, we move to the backstage area where Mike Tenay is standing by with the Knockouts Champion Gail Kim. Tenay congratulates Gail Kim on her victory this past Sunday night at Final Resolution against Awesome Kong. Kim says that she was proud to step in the ring against one of her fiercest rivals. She says that Awesome Kong is an amazing wrestler and she would be proud to defend the Knockouts title against her whenever she wants a rematch. But we're here in 2016. 2016 means a new year with the Knockouts and a new year with the Knockouts Championship. She says that she plans to hold that Knockouts title throughout 2016. She might have continued the interview but she is interrupted by the presence of AJ Brooks. Brooks smiles that crazy smile at Gail Kim and begins skipping in a circle around her. After several rotations, Brooks stops in front of Gail Kim. She grabs the microphone and says that in less than two weeks, she is going to relieve Gail Kim of the Knockouts Championship. Gail Kim smiles and tells her that she's going to try. Brooks tilts her head to the side and then smiles before patting the cheek of Kim and then skipping away. Kim looks annoyed and we head to the ring for Knockouts action.]

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/TarynTerrell.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/VS.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/MadisonRayne.jpg

Taryn Terrell vs. Madison Rayne

[The Knockouts action features Taryn Terrell of the Dollhouse against Madison Rayne of The Beautiful People. These two factions have been feuding for quite some time and it shows as the match goes back and forth between these two women. The Queen Bee takes Terrell over with a bridging Northern Lights Suplex for a two count. Rayne yanks Terrell up and sends her into a corner, charging in and Terrell gets her boots up to the face of Rayne. She catches her with a second boot to the face and Terrell trips Rayne, rolling her up and placing her feet on the ropes: One, Two, Kickout! Rayne fought out of the cheating by Terrell! Both Knockouts get to their feet and Rayne catches Terrell with a swinging neckbreaker. Rayne catches Terrell with several clotheslines. She quickly gets to her feet and does the Beauty Queen wave before picking up Terrell -- Rayne Drop! Rayne makes the cover, hooking the leg: One, Two, Three!]

Winner: Madison Rayne (Via Pinfall @ 9:53)

Match Rating: D

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/KurtAngle.jpg

[in the backstage area, we are shown professional wrestling's first Olympic gold medalist, Kurt Angle. Angle says that this past Sunday night he lost to CM Punk. He says that he's lost to people before. As a matter of fact, he's lost to better wrestlers than CM Punk in the past. But we are here in the year of 2016. This means that the rumors of Kurt Angle retiring are resurfacing. The truth of those rumors is that, yes, 2016 is probably the last year of the Olympic Gold Medalist. But if Kurt Angle is going out then he's going to go out his way, making his own choices. That means that he is officially declaring what he likes to call his own United States Open Challenge. This will occur every single week on Impact Wrestling during the Kurt Angle Retirement Tour. Anyone who wishes to step in the ring with an Olympic Gold Medalist can step up and face me in this very ring beginning next week right here on Impact. Oh and it's real. It's damn real. Angle lowers his head as we move back to the ring.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/EthanCarterIII.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/Tyrus.jpg

[Josh Mathews and D'Angelo Dinero talk briefly about the Kurt Angle United States Open Challenge, openly wondering who will face him next week. They are interrupted by 'Trouble' beginning to play and out from the back comes the only unpinned and unsubmitted wrestler in TNA wrestling Ethan Carter III and his bodyguard Tyrus. Carter enters the ring and the chants of 'You Can't Wrestle!' begin early and often with Carter. Carter mocks a laugh and tells the idiots here in Washington to shut their mouths because a member of the one percent is in the ring and he has something to say. Last Sunday night, he was robbed of his chance at being the TNA World Heavyweight Champion by one Matt Hardy. He says that if Matt Hardy had not come down to ringside, he would have finished off Bobby Lashley with the One Percenter and moved on to face CM Punk and beaten him and become the TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Instead, Bobby Lashley spears him through the barricade and beats him by countout, leaving him as still unpinned and unsubmitted. He says that he knows that Bryan Danielson knows that he deserves a TNA World title shot. He is ECIII. He is the best that TNA has to offer. ECIII smirks as he gets interrupted by 'Rogue And Cold Blooded!']

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/MattHardy.jpg

[Matt Hardy walks out from the back, telling ECIII that the fans here in Washington want him to shut up and quit whining. He says that when he came out to ringside Sunday night, he didn't lay a finger on ECIII. He cannot help it if ECIII is easily distracted. But what ECIII did during the Ultimate X match was wrong. Hardy enters the ring at this point and Tyrus steps in between Hardy and ECIII. Hardy looks Tyrus in the eyes and tells him to get out of the way because he wants to look ECIII in the eyes when he speaks to him. Tyrus seems to think about it for a moment and then shrugs, stepping to the side before striking Hardy with a forearm shot to the side of the head. Tyrus knocks Hardy back in a corner and ECIII joins him in putting kicks to Matt Hardy. Hardy tries to fire back with punches but the numbers game takes over. ECIII grabs Hardy and drops him in the One Percenter in the center of the ring. The crowd boos as ECIII and Tyrus stand over Matt Hardy. These two men will meet later on tonight.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/MrAnderson.jpg

[backstage, Jeremy Borash is standing by with the insane Eric Young. Borash says that Eric Young was not on the Final Resolution pay-per-view and he doesn't have a match here on Impact tonight. So what does 2016 hold for Eric Young? Young says that he didn't have a match on Final Resolution because no one is man enough to step up and face him. He says that he is better than all the wrestlers that were on that pay-per-view event. He is better than Gail Kim. He is better than Awesome Kong. He is better than AJ Brooks. He is even better than her husband CM Punk, the TNA World Champion until he gives EY a title shot. What does 2016 hold for Eric Young? 2016 holds a TNA World title reign for the man that everybody seems to forget. He might have continued but Mr. Anderson comes flying in from out of nowhere, assaulting Eric Young! Young and Anderson begin exchanging blows with Anderson tripping Young to the ground. Anderson mounts Young and throws punches to the head. The two men twist and turn on the ground as officials step in to break things up. Mr. Anderson is held back by a few officials and he yells at Eric Young that 2016 is going to bring EY Mr. Anderson...Anderson! Young spits at Anderson as he is held back by more officials.]

Match #3

Brian Myers and Trevor Lee vs. Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team

[Our third match of the night features tag team action as we see the TNA debut of the Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team connection of Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin as they take on former TNA World Tag Team Champions Brian Myers and Trevor Lee. This match is definitely a showcase match for Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team as they take control from the outset. Brian Myers gets isolated in the corner of Haas and Benjamin and they use quick tags to keep a fresh man in the ring. They bring Myers over with a double hip toss into a backbreaker. Myers grabs his back in pain and Charlie Haas lifts him up, bringing him over in an Exploder suplex. Haas points to a sign in the crowd that reads: 'WE WANT TEAM ANGLE!' before he tags in Shelton Benjamin. The two men lift Myers and catch him with the Aided leapfrog body guillotine. Benjamin catches Myers with a T-Bone Suplex and then points to a sign in the crowd, reading: 'WGTT rocks!' Benajmin gets the crowd involved with claps and then lifts Myers and catches him with Paydirt! The leaping reverse STO brings Myers to the mat and Benjamin makes a cover: One, Two, Three!]

Winners: Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team (Via Pinfall @ 5:49)

Match Rating: C-

[Once again, we move backstage. This time, we see Drew Galloway stretching as he prepares for his match tonight against CM Punk for the TNA World title. Into the backstage area, Bobby Lashley walks. He shakes hands with Galloway and says that he is proud that the two of them have been able to be friends throughout being in this wrestling company. He says that a true friend is rare in this business and that Galloway is a great wrestler with a great opportunity tonight against CM Punk. Lashley says that he will be here tonight to watch Galloway's back. Galloway thanks Lashley and agrees that a true friend is rare. He thought he had a true friend in Eli Drake but we all know how that went. He says that right now, though, he is focused on CM Punk and the TNA World title later on tonight. He says that he knows that if he beats Punk tonight he will have to take on Lashley at TNA Genesis. He says it would be an honor to face Lashley in the field of battle at Genesis. Lashley agrees that the two of them fighting would make for a great main event. He wishes Galloway good luck tonight and then walks off with Galloway looking focused on tonight's main event.]

Match #4

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/DougWilliams.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/VS.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/RobVanDam.jpg

Doug Williams vs. Rob Van Dam

[X-Division action is next as we see the Human Torture Device Doug Williams take on the Whole F'N Show Rob Van Dam. Whoever wins this match will definitely move up the ladder toward an X-Division title shot against Austin Aries. Early in the match, RVD catches Doug Williams with a front dropkick, knocking him into a corner. RVD looks at Williams and charges in, leaping up and catching Williams with a monkey flip! RVD turns around and goes for a kick but Williams ducks the kick and kicks RVD in the gut. Williams hooks RVD in a double underhook and brings him over with a double underhook suplex. Williams lifts RVD to his feet and catches him with several European Uppercuts, knocking him backward into a corner. Williams mocks the RVD double thumb point before bringing RVD over with a bridging Northern Lights Suplex. The bridging suplex only scores a two count, though, as RVD kicks out. Williams raises up RVD and hooks him in a rear waistlock. He rushes forward into the turnbuckle but RVD grabs the top turnbuckle and Williams goes flipping backward alone. Williams rushes back in and is caught with a spinning heel kick, knocking him to the mat. RVD looks down at Williams and then bounces off the ropes -- Rolling Thunder! RVD quickly moves to a corner and leaps to the top turnbuckle. He stands up tall and begins the double thumb point as the crowd chants 'Rob Van Dam!' Van Dam leaps -- Five Star Frog Splash! RVD rolls back over and makes the cover: One, Two, Three!]

Winner: Rob Van Dam (Via Pinfall @ 5:43)

Match Rating: C-

[From the ring, we move to the office of TNA Owner Bryan Danielson. Danielson is on a cell phone, obviously talking to his wife. He asks her how she's doing and then says that he is glad she will be back next week. The camera pans back to reveal the X-Division Champion Austin Aries. The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived clears his throat and Danielson smiles, ending his phone call. Danielson says that it's good to see Aries here and congratulates him again on winning the X-Division title. He says that, next week, Austin Aries will find out who he's facing for the X-Division title at TNA Genesis. But that means that, tonight, Aries doesn't have a reason to be here in the building. So therefore Danielson says he is giving Aries the rest of the night off to prepare for TNA Genesis. If Aries is seen in the building tonight then he will be stripped of his X-Division title. Aries opens his mouth to argue, trying to fight the decision of the TNA Owner but Danielson says his decision is final. He says that Aries has until the end of the Ethan Carter III/Matt Hardy match to exit the building. If he's not gone, then the X-Division title will be gone from his waist. So he better hurry. Aries looks upset but he moves away to get his things and exit the building. CM Punk will be on his own tonight against Drew Galloway!]

Match #5

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/EthanCarterIII.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/TyrusM.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/VS.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/MattHardy.jpg

Ethan Carter III vs. Matt Hardy

[it's our semi main event and Matt Hardy comes out looking a little worse for wear after the assault by Ethan Carter III and Tyrus. Early in the match, Matt Hardy seems to be trying to put the match away quickly. Hardy rolls Carter up but only scores a one count. Hardy goes for an early Twist of Fate but it's blocked by Carter and ECIII slips in behind Hardy and brings him over in a belly-to-back suplex. Carter stands up and yells at the crowd, who yell right back at him. He tosses Hardy out of the ring and then distracts the official as Tyrus puts a boot to the ribs of Hardy. Tyrus thrusts Hardy into the steel steps outside the ring before tossing Hardy back in to ECIII. Carter smiles and begins to slow things down, doing things like choking Hardy on the ropes and locking in a rear chinlock. The crowd gets solidly behind Hardy, trying to will him back into this match. Carter catches Hardy with a Release German Suplex, throwing Hardy across the ring. Carter draws in more boos from the crowd as he sets up Hardy for the One Percenter. But Hardy blocks the move! Instead, Hardy brings Carter over in a belly-to-back suplex, leaving both men on the mat. The referee begins a ten count on both men but both make it to their feet before the count of nine. They begin exchanging punches in the center of the ring with Hardy gaining the advantage. Hardy grabs Carter and drops him with a Side Effect. He makes a cover: One, Two, Kickout! Hardy gets to his feet and brings Carter into a corner. Hardy goes for the running bulldog but Carter shoves him off and Hardy knocks into the referee, stunning referee Brian Hebner. Hardy turns around to Carter and ducks a clothesline. He kicks Carter in the gut, calling for the Twist of Fate. Tyrus slides into the ring behind Hardy and grabs him before Hardy can hit the Twist of Fate. Tyrus throws Hardy with an Exploder Suplex. Tyrus slides out of the ring and Carter grabs Hardy -- One Percenter! Carter makes the cover: One, Two, Three!]

Winner: Ethan Carter III (Via Pinfall @ 11:36)

[The crowd here in Washington are not happy about this cheating victory by Ethan Carter III. We move to the backstage area where the TNA World Champion CM Punk is standing alone. The cameras follow him as he moves along the backstage area until he turns a corner and bumps into the King of the Mountain Champion Bobby Roode. Roode says that it's good to see Punk tonight because he has something to tell him. Roode says that CM Punk is just keeping the title warm for the IT Factor of Professional Wrestling. Punk responds that Roode must have been hitting the bottle a little too much tonight. Punk says that Roode is weak because he falls prey to these addictions like alcohol. Punk says that his only addiction is competition. Roode says that Punk is going to get all the competition that he wants later on tonight when he takes on Drew Galloway. He says that if Punk can survive the month as TNA World Champion then he just might walk into a roadblock known as the IT Factor of Professional Wrestling. Punk asks Roode if he sees any sweat on him? No? That's because he doesn't sweat Bobby Roode. He is straight edge and that means he's better than you. Roode says that one day they'll test that theory. Punk tells Roode that he hates to leave someone who is lacking so much attention right now but he has a match to win. Punk steps aside and walks away with Roode's eyes following him. CM Punk versus Drew Galloway is next!]

TNA World Title Match

CM Punk defends vs. Drew Galloway

[it is our Impact Wrestling main event and this is a match for the TNA World title as CM Punk defends versus the man who stands up for professional wrestling Drew Galloway. Punk, as always, is accompanied by his wife AJ Brooks. The two wrestlers meet in the center of the ring and Galloway offers a handshake. Punk responds by slapping Galloway and then backing off, using the ropes to keep Galloway from coming at him. Punk moves from the ropes and the fight begins between him and Galloway. Galloway catches Punk with a discus lariat early on and throws punches to the TNA World Champion. Punk covers up and uses the ropes again. The referee steps in, pulling Galloway away from Punk. Punk slides out of the ring to catch a breath but Galloway catches him with a baseball slide kick! Outside the ring, Galloway grabs Punk and runs him toward the ring post but AJ Brooks steps in between them and the ring post. She raises her arms to tell Galloway to stop and he does but the distraction costs him as Punk throws an elbow to the side of the head. Punk rams Galloway into the ring post before tossing him back in the ring. Punk joins Galloway in the ring and brings him down with a double underhook power bomb. Punk grabs Galloway and brings him over with a snap suplex. He plays to the crowd as the match continues to move forward. Around ten minutes into the contest, Punk is still in control of Galloway despite occasional bursts of offense by Galloway. Punk catches Galloway with the step-up high knee in the corner followed by a bulldog. He climbs the top turnbuckle and raises his arms up high in tribute to Randy Savage -- Flying Elbow Drop connects! This could be the ending here! Punk makes the cover, hooking the leg:]

..Kickout!]

[The match continues and we move forward to around the fourteen minute mark where Drew Galloway has begun fighting back against CM Punk. Both men are a little winded by this point in the contest. Galloway manages to catch Punk with a fireman's carry gutbuster and then he plays to this capacity crowd here in Pullman, Washington. Galloway sets up Punk for the Future Shock DDT but Punk blocks it and reverses out of the hold, lifting Galloway on his shoulders. Punk goes for the Go-To-Sleep but Galloway lands on his feet. Galloway catches Punk with a short-arm clothesline and then goes to the top turnbuckle! Galloway looks down at the fallen Punk but Punk suddenly gets up in a spurt of energy, leaping into the ropes, which makes Galloway get crotched on the top turnbuckle. Punk moves in and climbs to the second turnbuckle. He catches Galloway with a knee to the side of the head and then hooks him in a double underhook position -- Diving Double Underhook Facebuster! The move known as the Pepsi Plunge plants Galloway on the mat. Punk needs a moment to gather his strength before he crawls over and makes the cover: One, Two, Foot on the ropes! Somehow, Drew Galloway got his foot on the ropes! Punk looks angry and frustrated. Punk goes for the Anaconda Vise but Galloway struggles against Punk locking in the hold. Galloway catches Punk with a kick to the face and then slips around, bringing Punk's shoulders to the mat in a crucifix style pin: One, Two, Kickout! A worried AJ Brooks climbs up onto the apron, distracting Drew Galloway as he looks toward her briefly. He pulls Punk upward and then goes for a distracted Future Shock DDT but Punk twists out and, again, lifts Galloway on his shoulders -- Go To Sleep! Punk makes the cover, hooking the leg:]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/Lashley.jpg

[CM Punk has made his very first defense of the TNA World title! A huge win for him tonight over a very game Drew Galloway. The Best in the World rises to his feet as his wife AJ Brooks is pointing behind him. Punk looks confused for a moment at the warning. He turns around to see what is behind him -- Spear by Bobby Lashley! The Destroyer has come out here and taken CM Punk down with a spear! Punk grabs his ribs as he rolls back and forth on the mat, selling the strength of that spear by The Destroyer. Bobby Lashley stands up and AJ Brooks enters the ring. Brooks looks Lashley up and down for a moment before slapping him! She goes to slap him a second time and Lashley grabs her wrist! Lashley picks her up and places her on his shoulders. He walks over to the ropes and tosses her onto the apron of the ring to get her out of his way. He turns back to CM Punk and yanks him up, tossing him out of the ring to the floor a lot more viciously than he just placed AJ Brooks. Lashley picks up the TNA World title belt and raises it up high in the air. Could this be the scene following TNA Genesis? If it is, then we will see a new TNA World Champion in The Destroyer Bobby Lashley. That's all for this week. We'll see you for XPlosion! As the show comes to a close with Bobby Lashley celebrating in the ring, a sign is shown in the background: 'Vince fears TNA!']

TNA presents...

TNA XPLOSION!

TNA XPlosion begins this evening with a recap from Impact Wrestling this past week. The focus of the recap is the main event of the night when CM Punk defended the TNA World title against Drew Galloway. Following a great match, Punk defeats Galloway following the Go To Sleep with a distraction from his wife AJ Brooks. After the match, however, Punk was taken out with a spear by Bobby Lashley. CM Punk will defend the TNA World title at TNA Genesis against Bobby Lashley in less than two weeks.

Match 1

In an extremely poor match, Jessie defeated Manik in 5:56 by submission with a Full Nelson.=E+

We are taken to a pre-recorded promo featuring Drew Galloway. Galloway says that he was disappointed in his loss to CM Punk this past Wednesday night. He says that he can accept a loss because he is a man and sometimes even the best can be beaten. However, he is upset that Bobby Lashley allowed AJ Brooks to become a deciding factor in that match. He says that Lashley told him he would watch his back and that was obviously a lie. But you never know who you can trust in this business, right? Galloway says that he is moving forward and will earn another title shot as he rises up for professional wrestling.

Match 2

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Ultimo Dragon defeated Kenny King in 10:22 by submission with a Dragon Sleeper.=D

Another pre-taped promo. This one takes place in Washington following the Impact Wrestling taping. The focus of this promo is Ethan Carter III. ECIII says that he, once again, proved that he is better than Matt Hardy when he beat Hardy on Impact Wrestling. ECIII says that he is done with Matt Hardy. He says that he is looking to become the TNA World Champion again, whether it's facing off with CM Punk or Bobby Lashley after Genesis. After all, he is a Carter and everyone needs the Carters.

We go from there to another promo. This one features the new Franchise of professional wrestling Eli Drake. Drake reminds everyone that he is the best wrestler in Impact Wrestling. Not only that, he has the best mentor in pro wrestling, Kevin Nash. Drake says that he will not be forgotten, despite other guys coming into the company like Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team. He is wrestling's greatest wrestler. He is the true Franchise of Professional Wrestling right now. He says that he will do whatever it takes to prove that he is the best.

Match 3

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Eric Young defeated Chavo Guerrero Jr. in 14:24 by pinfall with a Wheelbarrow Neckbreaker.=D+

Following the victory, Eric Young goes for the Spiked Piledriver on Chavo Guerrero, Jr. but Mr. Anderson comes running to the ring. Young throws Guerrero to the side and Anderson trips down Young, throwing punches! Young throws some punches, fighting back against Mr. Anderson. Anderson gets to his feet and grabs EY, throwing him shoulder-first through the turnbuckles to the ring post! Anderson raises his arm up and the microphone drops down. Young sees this and drops down, rolling out of the ring to escape. Anderson smirks, looking down at Eric Young and proclaiming that he just got his butt kicked by MISSSSTAAAAHHHHH ANDERSON..........ANDERSON! Before the show goes off the air, we are broken up by static and snow filling the screen. Words show up as they did on Impact Wrestling: 'Do not attempt to change your channel. I control the horizontal. I control the vertical. I am in control of everything that you see and hear. Goodbye.' In the lower right hand corner of the screen, just for a split second, comes up two words: 'Callihan Productions' and then the fade to black.

TNA Impact Wrestling Preview!

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/Impact.jpg

-We are less than one week until TNA Genesis live on pay-per-view where the main event will be
CM Punk
defending the TNA World title against The Destroyer
Bobby Lashley
. Tonight on Impact Wrestling there will be a contract signing between these two men led by the TNA Owner
Bryan Danielson
. Contract signings do have a tendency to be filled with excitement. What will happen during this contract signing?

-Our main event in Fort Lauderdale, Florida should be a great one as we see the unpinned and unsubmitted
Ethan Carter III
step inside the ring with the King of the Mountain Champion
Bobby Roode
! We have learned that this will be a non title match between these two wrestlers. But will Bobby Roode be the first man to pin ECIII? Or will ECIII gain some momentum moving forward?

-We will see the debut of
Kurt Angle's
United States Open Challenge. Angle announced this open challenge last week as he will take on anyone wanting to face an Olympic Gold Medalist. Who will step up to take on Angle in this match? He has said that he will take on anyone from any promotion.

-The former X-Division Champion
Tigre Uno
has cashed in his rematch clause in one on one fashion. Therefore, Tigre Uno will take on the X-Division Champion
Austin Aries
for the X-Division title. Uno lost the title in an Ultimate X match at Final Resolution. Can he regain it when he goes one on one with the Greatest Man Who Ever Lived?

The build to Final Resolution has been a turning point for TNA. With the debut of not only Bryan Danielson and his wife but also CM Punk and his wife in the same night. Danielson was announced as the new boss of TNA and this PPV will be his first to book for TNA. Multiple feuds have been building from Raven and The Wolves to Roode and Vader and finally the World Title Series will end at this PPV. So why don’t we take a look at how good Danielson did with his first PPV. </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><strong>THE MATCHES</strong></span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

After both Punk and Angle shared some fighting words they had a great match that defiantly showed that Angle still had it but it showed how good Punk truly is. Punk was able to pick up the win. In the other match EC3 took on Bobbly Lashley. Lashley was able to win due to countout. I thought this decision was good as it kept EC3’s winning streak, kept Lashley looking strong and we didn’t get a heel vs heel final. Great booking in the semi-finals.</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

The X-Divison match was next as it took place in a Ultimate X-Match. The match overall was good however it defiantly showed how week the X-Division is at the moment. In a division that used to highlight the young hungry talent rising the ranks in wrestling it now featured 5 men who you could argue are coming to the last leg of their career. However Aries did pick up the win which only makes the division stronger.</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

Brie Danielson and AJ Brooks had a match that was one of the highlights of the show. AJ got the win over Brie which was defiantly good booking as she has more to offer.</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

The Wolves took on Raven and Stevie Richards in a match that was really good. The Wolves were able to show off why they are arguably the best team on the roster and one of the best in the world but the match ended in a DQ due to Joseph Parks. What happened next was Parks joining Stevie and Raven but The Wolves were joined by Dreamer and Sandman! It was great seeing these ECW legends once again but it begs the question when are new stars going to be made? </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

Roode in the next match was able to knock off Vader in an average match. This was good placement as the arrival of Punk knocked down Roode on the ladder to the World Title so it was good to see Roode keep busy.</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

Kong and Gail were next, these two ladies have had their wars before but tonight they did great. Gail was able to defeat Kong as she readies herself for her next challenger in the form of AJ Brooks</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

The main event saw Punk take on Lashley in the final in the World Title series. I thought this match was awesome and it made Lashley look like a star but in the end Punk was able to get the win. I thought this gave TNA some much needed momentum and with Punk with the main strap and Bryan in charge the future for TNA is bright.</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

<span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">With the announcement of TEW 2016, that has placed a definite hard end date to this diary. That is, of course, the arrival of the brand new game. The plan is to keep this diary going until the new game comes out. I hope that everyone is as excited about the new game as I am.</span></p>

AJ Brooks and Thea Trinidad vs. Gail Kim and Hamada

[Josh Mathews and D'Angelo Dinero welcome everyone to TNA Impact Wrestling as we join with a match in progress in the Knockouts Division. This is a big return for the former Knockouts Tag Team Champion Hamada as she teams with the Knockouts Champion Gail Kim to take on AJ Brooks and Thea Trinidad. Hamada catches Trinidad early in the match with a Tornado DDT for a two count. Hamada goes for a missile dropkick but Trinidad moves out of the way and she quickly tags out to AJ Brooks. The number one contender to the Knockouts title, comes in quickly and begins to work over Hamada. Brooks and Trinidad keep Hamada in their corner, using some frequent tags to keep her down. Brooks catches Hamada with a couple of quick swinging neckbreakers before she blows a kiss toward Gail Kim and begins skipping around the ring. She makes the tag to Trinidad and Trinidad picks up Hamada, setting her on the top turnbuckle. Trinidad climbs up and goes for a top rope hurricanrana but Hamada blocks it and brings Trinidad down to the mat with a super bomb, leaving both women laying on the mat. Both women crawl toward their corners and tags are made on both sides. Gail Kim comes in with clotheslines to AJ Brooks. The Knockouts Champion catches Brooks with a roundhouse kick to the skull. Gail Kim hooks AJ Brooks in a dragon sleeper but Brooks refuses to give up. The hold is broken when Trinidad comes in the ring and brings Kim to the mat with a hair pull takedown. Hamada comes in and throws Trinidad out of the ring. Hamada joins her outside, while inside the ring AJ Brooks gets to her feet. Kim ducks a clothesline and rolls up Brooks -- reversed by Brooks. Brooks places her feet on the ropes: One, Two, Three!]

Winners: AJ Brooks and Thea Trinidad (Via Pinfall @ 8:16)

Match Rating: D

[AJ Brooks has just pinned the Knockouts Champion Gail Kim! The crowd boos as Brooks quickly rolls out of the ring, landing on the floor. She smiles and begins to skip around to Thea Trinidad, helping her partner to her feet. As Brooks celebrates the victory, Brie Danielson limps her way out from the back to stand at the top of the ramp. AJ and Trinidad are trapped between Brie Danielson on one side and Gail Kim in the ring. Danielson gets on the microphone and says that she is looking forward to having the best seat in the house this Sunday when AJ Brooks takes on Gail Kim for the TNA Knockouts title. She says that since AJ made sure she was unable to wrestle, she thought she should do the next best thing. Her husband, TNA Owner Bryan Danielson, agreed and at TNA Genesis during the match between AJ Brooks and Gail Kim, she will be the special guest referee. She wishes both of them good luck in that match and says she will be as unbiased as AJ would be for her. She flashes a smile and then returns to the back as AJ Brooks begins throwing a temper tantrum outside the ring. Brooks cannot be happy about this decision.]

[From the ring, we move to the backstage area where Spud is meeting up with his partners tonight, Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team. Spud says that it is an honor to team with such great wrestlers, Sirs. He says that these are the types of men that he looked up to growing up. Charlie Haas jokes that the last guy Spud said he looked up to was cut from TNA so he's not quite sure if he wants to hear that. Spud looks disappointed but Haas ruffles his hair, letting him know that he was just joking. Haas says that tonight they are going to add an honorary member to Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team and make it Wrestling's Greatest Six Man Tag Team with Spud involved against Eli Drake, Kevin Nash and Kenny King. Spud says that he will do his best not to let them down. Spud walks off and Haas and Benjamin look at each other for a moment. Benjamin says he's a good kid but he just may be trying too hard. Haas agrees and then gives a double high five to his partner and says they need to take care of business tonight. The two men walk off as we cut away elsewhere.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/TedDiBiase.jpg

[We are back inside the boardroom where Ted DiBiase, Jr. actually has all the chairs filled with men and women in business suits. DiBiase says that they are finished and can go now. They all close their notebooks and walk off as DiBiase looks in the camera. He says that the work of the Million Dollar Son is never done. That is why he has yet to make his debut here on Impact Wrestling. He has been too busy working on a Fortune 500 company. But all that is going to change very soon. He says that he has the desire to become the TNA World Champion and he will become the TNA World Champion by the end of 2016. But this Sunday, at Genesis, he is going to give another fan the opportunity to win some of his fortune just like he did at Final Resolution. He says he couldn't help that the kid couldn't bounce the ball ten times in a row. Maybe he should have selected a more athletically gifted child but he would hate to have people think he is a bully by choosing someone who looks a little better than the kid he chose before. He says that he will see you all at TNA Genesis and to remember that everybody has a price for The Million Dollar Son. He laughs and sits down in a chair, spinning around as we fade back to the ring.]

Kenny King, Eli Drake and Kevin Nash vs. Spud and Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team

[Our second match of the night is six man tag team action as Kenny King, Eli Drake and Kevin Nash take on Spud and Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team. Drake meets Spud in the ring early on and slaps Spud, telling him that he doesn't deserve to be in the same ring as the new Franchise. Spud fires back with punches and a dropkick to knock Drake flat on his back. Spud gets fired up until Drake makes the tag to Kevin Nash. Nash catches Spud with a running big boot and Spud is placed in the corner of King, Drake and Nash. They tag each other in and out with Nash spouting orders to both King and Drake. The King of the Night catches Spud with an Exploder suplex into the corner and plays to a booing crowd here in Ft. Lauderdale. King tags in Eli Drake and Drake moves over, putting the boots to Spud before choking him in the corner with his boot. Drake plays to the crowd, briefly, and then picks Spud up on his shoulders -- Spud slips behind Drake. Spud wraps Drake around the waist from behind -- Release German Suplex! Drake gets thrown across the ring and both men look to make tags. Drake tags in Kenny King but Spud tags in Shelton Benjamin. Benjamin ducks a clothesline and brings King over in a Samoan drop. In come all four other wrestlers and things are crazy inside the ring. Benjamin and Charlie Haas focus on Kenny King. They catch King with the leapfrog body guillotine! Haas catches King with an atomic drop followed by a superkick by Benjamin! Spud tags himself in and both members of Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team smile as Spud comes in. Eli Drake and Kevin Nash leave the ring and walk to the back, leaving their partner high and dry. Spud catches Kenny King with The Underdog! Spud makes the cover, hooking the leg: One, Two, Three!]

Winners: Spud and Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team (Via Pinfall @ 10:11)

[The crowd boos loudly in the background as we are shown the backstage area with Ethan Carter III and Tyrus. They are walking down a hallway and then knock on a door before entering a room where the TNA Owner Bryan Danielson is standing by with a smile on his face. A 'YES' chant sounds loudly in the background as Danielson thanks Carter for coming. Carter says he didn't have a choice but he's got to focus on his match tonight against the King of the Mountain champion so he's wondering what Danielson wants from him. Danielson says that he was watching last week when ECIII used this big man standing beside him to beat Matt Hardy. He says that the referee's decision is final and that won't change. However, he has decided to book a rematch at Genesis this Sunday between ECIII and Matt Hardy. Only this time, Tyrus will be banned from ringside. ECIII says he doesn't need Tyrus at ringside. He says that he is the best and the only man who is unpinned and unsubmitted here in TNA. Danielson smiles and says he wasn't finished. Not only will Tyrus be banned from ringside, the match will be best two out of three falls. Now, Danielson says, ECIII can leave his office. ECIII opens his mouth and closes it and then opens it again and then closes it again. He shakes his head and walks off with Tyrus. Danielson just shrugs and begins pointing up, leading some 'YES' chants as we leave.]

TNA X-Division Title Match

Austin Aries defends vs. Tigre Uno

[Our third match of the evening is a contest that a lot of fans have been looking toward as Austin Aries defends the TNA X-Division title against the former champion Tigre Uno. As one would expect, this is a high flying match between these two great athletes. Uno starts the match off strong within the first minute, catching a near fall on Aries but Aries avoids a suicide dive attempt by Uno, sending Uno crashing into the barricade outside the ring. The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived catches Uno with the Pendulum Elbow for a two count. Aries questions the referee but the referee says it was only two. Aries pulls Uno to his feet and catches him with a discus elbow smash, knocking Uno back into the corner. Aries lifts Uno up on the top turnbuckle and then climbs up with him, hooking Uno with a front facelock but Uno begins throwing punches. Uno gets the crowd going as he brings Aries down with a sit out power bomb off the top turnbuckle! Uno hooks the legs: One, Two, Kickout! Uno very nearly won back the X-Division title! Uno climbs the top turnbuckle with Aries laid out. Uno points down at Aries and then leaps with the 450 Splash but Aries gets the knees up and Uno crashes into those knees. Aries turns things over into the Last Chancery but Uno refuses to submit. Aries releases after a minute and then quickly gets to his feet, lifting Uno up -- Brainbuster! Aries rolls over, hooking the leg: One, Two, Three!]

Winner: Austin Aries (Via Pinfall @ 8:17)

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/BryanDanielson.jpg

[A big X-Division title defense for Austin Aries tonight. A Double is given the X-Division title belt and he raises it up high in the air. The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived moves over to a turnbuckle and lays across the turnbuckle in his usual pose. The celebration of his victory is cut short by 'The Final Countdown' beginning to play. Bryan Danielson walks out from the back and stands at the top of the ramp. Danielson congratulates Aries on his title defense tonight and says that, last week, he told Aries that he would find out his Genesis opponent tonight. Aries grabs a microphone and asks Danielson who is it? Is it Spud? Is it Robbie E? Is it Manik? Danielson just makes a motion toward the back for someone to come out to the ramp. 'Wish It Away' begins to play and out from the back comes the Leonidas of TNA Wrestling Drew Galloway! Galloway rushes toward the ring and Austin Aries quickly exits the ring. A sign is shown in the background, reading: 'Saxon=joke account!' Galloway is about to speak when TV screens around the world begin showing static. A voice tells people not to try adjusting their sets. The voice proclaims that 'I control the vertical. I control the horizontal.' The static/snow fades to black and the screen remains black as the voiceover says that 'I am all-powerful and I am taking over this company. Goodbye.' The static fills the screen again and then we fade back to the ring where Galloway is standing on the second turnbuckle celebrating before we move backstage.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/BobbyRoode.jpg

[The backstage area is shown where The It Factor of Professional Wrestling Bobby Roode is pacing within a locker room. He looks up at the camera and says that tonight is a night that he has the opportunity to knock Ethan Carter III down a few pegs. He says that he is the opposite of everything that ECIII stands for. He's never had anything handed to him on a silver platter. He has always fought for what he has and that's what's made him one of the best TNA wrestlers in this business. That is what made him the longest-reigning TNA World Champion in the history of this company. Roode says that when he pins ECIII tonight after a Roode Bomb or maybe the Payoff he is going to have earned a TNA World title shot against the winner of CM Punk and Bobby Lashley. He says that it doesn't matter to him who the TNA World Champion is. All he wants is a title shot to prove that he deserves the title once again and that he can beat his own record for longest-reigning TNA World Champion. Tonight, ECIII, you're going to be the one to learn that it pays to be Roode. Roode smirks and then begins pacing again as we move back to the ringside area.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/KurtAngle.jpg

['Gold Medal' begins to play and the crowd rises to their feet, cheering as The Cyborg, the Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle walks out from the back. Angle high fives the fans in the front row on his way down to the ring. Angle steps inside the ring and grabs a microphone that's handed up to him. He says that last week he announced the opening of TNA's first ever United States Open Challenge. This means that anyone from any promotion around the world can step inside the ring with an American Olympic gold medalist. He says that he would take on wrestlers from Sweden, Denmark, England, Japan and, of course, the United States of America. He says that he knows someone accepted the open challenge because the contract was taken from the backstage area. So who is his opponent? He's ready to find out. Because he is not losing tonight. Oh it's real. It's damn real. Angle tosses the microphone out of the ring and stares at the ramp, waiting to find out who his opponent will be. 'Bad Influence' begins to play and Angle's opponent walks from the back.]

United States Open Challenge

Christopher Daniels vs. Kurt Angle

[The crowd is in shock at the TNA return of the Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels. Angle looks surprised at who answered the United States Open Challenge but then he settles in and looks focused on the Fallen Angel. Angle offers a handshake to Daniels to start the match. Daniels uses the handshake to slap Angle with his free hand and then go on the offensive. The opening moments are back and forth with both men looking to put the other away early. Daniels sends Angle outside the ring and catches him with a dive that sends Angle down to the mats below. Daniels plays to the crowd, drawing in some boos before he tosses Angle back inside the ring. Daniels catches Angle with the Death Valley Driver, scoring a two count on the Olympic Gold Medalist. He sends Angle into the turnbuckle and rushes in but Angle catches him with arms around his waist. Angle twists and then sends Daniels flying with the overhead belly to belly suplex! Angle shouts to the crowd and then moves in to Daniels. He ducks a clothesline and catches Daniels with a rear waistlock -- German Suplex! Angle keeps his hands held tight and pulls Daniels up -- German Suplex! Angle pops his hips and rises up a third time -- Release German Suplex! Both men collapse on the mat, taking in deep breaths. Angle is first to his feet and he pulls Daniels up -- Angle Slam! Angle twists when Daniels hits the mat and grabs his ankle -- Ankle Lock! The Olympic Gold Medalist locks in the Ankle Lock and drops down, grapevining the leg. Daniels struggles but is forced to tap out. Kurt Angle with a huge victory!]

Winner: Kurt Angle (Via Submission @ 7:31)

Match Rating: C+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/MrAnderson.jpg

[From a celebrating Kurt Angle, we move backstage where an interview is set up with Mr. Anderson. Anderson looks up at the camera and says that he busted his ass working up and down the independent scenes as he became a part of the wrestling business. He worked hard so that he could secure a job with the best wrestling company in the fricking universe and that company is Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. I have never claimed to be anything but what I have claimed to be and that is an asshole. I have always owned that. I have even worn that on my fricking shirt. That is exactly what I am going to be this coming Sunday when I step in the ring with that certifiably insane Eric Young. You see, Eric, you don't seem to realize that while your craziness is outward. You show everyone just how crazy you are. My craziness is inside me. I am that crazy guy that you will find in the corner just waiting for my moment. That moment will be at TNA Genesis when I go one on one with you, Eric Young. You and I will be wrestling in not just some normal match. That wouldn't be befitting of a match between you and I. Instead, you and I will go one on one in a pinfalls count anywhere match. That means that if I want to use a chair, then I'll use a chair. If I want to use a table, then I'll put you through a freaking table. Whatever I want to use, I will use it on you this Sunday. Like a certain guy used to say, at the end of the night, you'll never forget the name of Mr. Anderson.......Anderson.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/MattHardy.jpg

[From one backstage area, we move to another backstage area where we find Matt Hardy standing by. Hardy looks up toward the camera and begins by just saying E C III. He says that he grew up in North Carolina with a dream. That dream was to become a champion. He had the opportunity to possibly become the TNA World Champion once again but it's Ethan Carter III that stole that away from him. ECIII is consistently standing in his way to become the TNA World Champion. But that's not going to happen at TNA Genesis. At Genesis, Matt Hardy says, he is going to become the first man to pin Ethan Carter III if Bobby Roode doesn't do it tonight. But not only is he going to pin ECIII but maybe he'll make ECIII submit as well to win two falls. He says that he can become the first man to ever make ECIII submit and to pin Ethan Carter III. What will ECIII do then? What will he have over TNA at that point now that his Aunt doesn't own the company and he's lost his streak? He will become just another wrestler in the annals of history. At TNA Genesis, he is going to learn about the rebirth of Matt Hardy. ECIII will learn that Matt Hardy will...not...die! Hardy throws up the Hardy symbol and we fade back to the ring.]

Match #5

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/Bram.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/RavenM.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/StevieRichardsM.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/JosephParkM.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/VS.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/Lashley.jpg

Bram vs. Bobby Lashley

[it is our semi main event and this should be a hard-hitting contest as Bram is joined by The Gathering all at ringside to take on the number one contender Bobby Lashley. The two hard hitters meet in the center of the ring and begin exchanging punches. Neither man wants to back down from the other but Lashley begins throwing some harder punches, knocking Bram backward. Lashley brings down Bram with a clothesline. The Destroyer brings Bram down with a double leg takedown but Bram rolls out of the ring to escape, joining with Raven and The Gathering to get a pep talk. The Chesterfield Plague enters the ring and avoids a Lashley lunge, knocking Lashley back into a corner and taking control. Bram chokes Lashley on the top rope until he is pushed back by a referee. As the referee is distracted, Joseph Parks throws a punch to Lashley, knocking him backward. Bram grabs Lashley and begins throwing knees to the skull. He drops an elbow and makes the cover: One, Two, Kickout! Around the seven minute mark, Bram goes for the Brighter Side Of Suffering but Lashley blocks it and reverses it into a gutwrench suplex. Both men are slow to get to their feet but Lashley rushes in with clotheslines. He yanks up Bram and catches him with the Dominator running powerslam. Lashley throws a punch to Stevie Richards as Richards leaps on the apron. Lashley sets up in a corner, waiting for Bram to get to his feet -- Spear! Lashley makes the cover: One, Two, Three!]

Winner: Bobby Lashley (Via Pinfall @ 9:31)

[From the ring, we move to the backstage area again where we find the team known as Better Than You. CM Punk and Austin Aries are shown discussing their upcoming singles matches against Bobby Lashley and Drew Galloway at TNA Genesis. Punk says that he plans to drop a pipe bomb this Sunday at TNA Genesis. He whispers in the ear of Aries what he plans to talk about and Aries just begins to smile. As Punk begins to speak out loud again, snow and static begin to fill the screen. That same voiceover we heard earlier reminds us not to try and adjust our television set. 'I control the vertical. I control the horizontal. I am in control of everything that TNA puts forth on your television set. If I don't want to see it then it will not make it on your television. I am in control and I am coming soon. Goodbye.' The static and snow fade away to show Punk and Aries ending their conversation. The two men shake hands and walk away as we move back toward the ring. It's main event time!]

Non-Title Match

Ethan Carter III vs. Bobby Roode

[it is main event time and this is a match that could main event any pay-per-view event anywhere in the world as Ethan Carter III steps in the ring with The It Factor of Professional Wrestling Bobby Roode. This is a war from the very beginning as the two men engage in a shoving contest to start the match. Roode throws a punch but ECIII fires back with a punch! Both men stand tall in the center of the ring. ECIII rakes the face and eyes of Roode to gain the advantage. Carter yanks Roode in close and brings him over in a belly-to-belly suplex, standing up and playing to a booing crowd for a moment. Carter tosses Roode out of the ring and joins him on the outside. He grabs Roode by the back of the head and tosses him into the steel steps shoulder-first. Carter puts the boots to Roode, breaking the ten count before yanking up Roode and sending him shoulder-first into the ring post. He tosses Roode back in the ring and ECIII continues his assault on Roode back in the ring. Carter drops Roode with a running corkscrew neckbreaker and scores a two count on the It Factor. Carter exits the ring and climbs to the top turnbuckle, perching and waiting for Roode to get to his feet. Carter takes aim and flies with a missile dropkick but Roode sidesteps and Carter catches nothing but mat. Roode quickly moves over and sets up Carter for the Pay Off. As he brings Carter over with the bridging fisherman's suplex, the referee got in the way! The referee staggers, trying to recover as Tyrus enters the ring. Tyrus stomps on Roode to break the pinfall. He yanks up Roode -- Exploder Suplex in the corner! Roode is laid out! Tyrus drags ECIII's arm over Roode and exits the ring as the referee recovers:]

...Shoulder Up!]

[The crowd goes wild as Bobby Roode gets that shoulder up, breaking the three count. Both men are slow to get to their feet but the crowd is solidly behind Roode in this contest. Both men reach their feet and Roode catches Carter with a kick to the gut before twisting him around -- Roode Awakening Neckbreaker! Roode turns over and makes a cover on Carter: One, Two, Kickout! Roode gets himself up and grabs Carter, twisting him over -- Arm Trap Crossface! Roode has the Crossface locked in on ECIII! Carter is struggling in the hold and the referee asks if he submits. Carter refuses to submit as Tyrus reaches in and grabs ECIII by the legs, yanking him and Roode to the ropes behind the referee's back. But the referee does see ECIII in the ropes and forces a break. Roode pulls ECIII to his feet and lifts him on his shoulders -- ECIII wiggles off and goes for the One Percenter but Roode blocks. He shoves ECIII to the ropes -- Double R Spinebuster! ECIII is planted! Roode rolls into the cover but the referee is distracted by Tyrus! The crowd boos as Roode pulls himself out of the pin and walks over to Tyrus. Roode throws a punch, knocking Tyrus backward and to the floor. Roode turns back to ECIII and catches a kick to the gut -- One Percenter! A sign goes up in the crowd, reading: 'ECIII=ratings!' ECIII makes the cover:]

[Following a commercial break, the ring is set up with a table and Bryan Danielson waiting inside the ring. Danielson says that all of tonight's events have led up to this contract signing for the TNA World title match at TNA Genesis this Sunday night. He introduces, first, the challenger. That is The Destroyer Bobby Lashley! Lashley comes out to a good crowd ovation. He had a tough match with Bram earlier this evening but he doesn't seem to be showing it as he walks inside the ring and shakes hands with Danielson. Lashley stands at the far end of the table as Danielson introduces the TNA World Champion, the Best In The World CM Punk! Punk walks out alone from the back and enters the ring, foregoing the handshake with Bryan Danielson. Instead, he looks across the table at his opponent for TNA Genesis. He tells Lashley that the man that Lashley is looking at right now is the best in the world. Lashley says he must be looking in a mirror because he is going to prove at Genesis that he is better than CM Punk. But while Punk likes to run his mouth about things, he prefers to do his talking with his fists. That is exactly what he's going to do at Genesis. Lashley picks up the contract, flips to the end and signs it, tossing it at Punk. Punk catches it hard against his chest and looks angry for a moment. Punk says that Lashley just doesn't get it because Lashley is just another of those WWE rejects that was never good enough to capture the brass ring. Punk says he knows that Lashley is jealous of him and he should be. After all, he is the savior of TNA. He is what makes TNA interesting and at Genesis he is going to lay a pipe bomb before putting Lashley to bed. Punk signs his name and the match is official.]

[CM Punk tosses the contract back at Bobby Lashley as a distraction. Lashley catches it but catches a hard kick from CM Punk as well. Punk knocks Lashley back into a corner and runs in with the step-up high knee. He grabs Lashley for the bulldog but Lashley throws CM Punk off and Punk lands hard on the mat. Lashley yanks up Punk into a military press slam position before dropping him on his shoulder and bringing him to the mat with the Dominator Running Powerslam! Lashley gets up and looks at the table as Bryan Danielson exits the ring with the contract. Lashley sets the table up in a corner, waiting for CM Punk to rise to his feet -- Lashley SPEARS CM PUNK THROUGH THE TABLE! Punk is down and he is hurt bad! We are less than a week away from TNA Genesis. Bobby Lashley grabs the fallen TNA World title belt and he stands in the center of the ring with the belt raised high in his right hand. The crowd cheers as The Destroyer has sent a definite message to CM Punk tonight. After a few moments, Lashley tosses the belt onto the fallen body of CM Punk, exiting the ring. The cameras focus in on the TNA World Champion CM Punk as he is down in a rubble of a table. What will happen this Sunday at TNA Genesis? Make sure you call your local cable company or satellite provider and order the pay-per-view to find out! We'll see you there!]

Friday, week 2, January 2016

Taped from Dr. James Smith Center, Orlando, FL.

Broadcast via Fuel TV at Evening...

TNA presents...

TNA XPLOSION!

The beginning of XPlosion features a recap of the contract signing between CM Punk and Bobby Lashley from the end of Impact Wrestling. The contract was officiated by Bryan Danielson. The contracts were signed and CM Punk assaulted Lashley. The Destroyer fought back and ended up spearing Punk through a table before holding the TNA World title up high in the air. Could we see this same scene this Sunday at TNA Genesis?

It is time for the United States Open Challenge. This is the place to be right now as Kurt Angle awaits the arrival of his opponent. That opponent ends up being the Sarge Chris Melendez! Melendez and Angle shake hands and embrace before the bell sounds for their match.

Match 1

In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, Kurt Angle defeated Chris Melendez in 6:01 by submission with an Ankle Lock.=C-

We are taken to a pre-recorded interview where Raven and Stevie Richards are sitting out by a jungle gym. Raven says that this Sunday night he is going to exorcise two of his demons when they step in the ring with Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman. Everyone knows what Dreamer did to him when they were kids. It is fitting that this should end in Pennsylvania given everything that happened in that state. Raven says he has a surprise for Tommy Dreamer, who will be there this Sunday. It will be the end of this long-standing rivalry when Dreamer is forced from TNA. Quote the Raven...Nevermore.

Match 2

In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, Bram defeated Eddie Edwards in 5:40 by pinfall with a Brighter Side Of Suffering following interference from Stevie Richards. During the match we also had Joseph Park run in and attack Edwards.=D+

A music video begins to promote the return of The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels. His history in TNA is shown, including his many X-Division and tag team matches. Of course, we all know that he made his TNA return this past Wednesday night on Impact Wrestling as part of the Kurt Angle United States Open Challenge and he is here tonight.

Match 3

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Christopher Daniels defeated Manik in 5:35 by pinfall with an Angel's Wings.=D+

A music video is done to promote the arrival of one of the newest tag teams here in TNA: Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team. Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin are both shown working out to some 1980's power ballad that most people do not remember. The visuals flip to them wrestling inside the ring until static begins to flow over the screen. A voiceover begins as snow fills up the screen like a scene from Poltergeist: 'Do not attempt to adjust your television set. I control the horizontal. I control the vertical. I control everything you see. I control everything you don't see. I am the true mastermind and the man with the power. Be afraid. Goodbye.' The static fades to Charlie Haas saying that they are going to prove why they are Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team before the fade to the ring.

Match 4

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Bobby Roode defeated Eric Young in 9:47 by pinfall with a Payoff. Bobby Roode makes defence number 1 of his TNA King of the Mountain title.=C

Eric Young just suffered a tough loss here on XPlosion but he doesn't have time to contemplate how he lost because here comes Mr. Anderson! Anderson is shown running down to the ring and then the scene rewinds to his entrance, replaying the entrance twice before he gets in the ring and begins exchanging punches with EY. The camera seems to flip over Anderson's punches, showing only the Eric Young punches. Then a dark laughter can be heard voicing over the television and through the arena. That same dark voice that has been voicing over speaks 'Goodbye' and we fade to black.

TNA Genesis Preview!

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/TNA_2015/Genesis.jpg

-It is time for TNA Genesis live on pay-per-view from Hersheypark Arena in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Total Nonstop Action Wrestling is live on pay-per-view for the very first time in the year of 2016 with a top-flight professional wrestling show. The main event of the evening features the TNA World Champion
CM Punk
taking on
Bobby Lashley
. This is the Best In The World versus The Destroyer in a rematch from Final Resolution last month. But this time neither man has wrestled a match on the same evening. Can Lashley walk away with the TNA World title or will CM Punk prove that he is still the best in the world?

-The feud between
Ethan Carter III
and
Matt Hardy
has been continuing to heat up and this evening things will be positively on fire.
Tyrus
is banned from ringside during this match and it will be best two out of three falls. Matt Hardy has said that he plans to pin ECIII AND force him to submit before this match is over. Will he be able to live up to that promise or will ECIII walk away with yet another victory?

-It wouldn't be Pennsylvania without a match between some ECW alumni, right? During a match this evening, we will see
Raven
and
Stevie Richards
step in the ring with
Tommy Dreamer
and
The Sandman
. This feud has been raging on for years. Will this be an ending or will this be another speed bump along the road?

-The X-Division title will be on the line as
Austin Aries
takes on
Drew Galloway
. The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived may have met his match when he takes on the Leonidas of TNA Wrestling. Can Aries keep the title around his waist or will Galloway begin a positive wave of momentum as the new X-Division Champion?

-Speaking of the X-Division, there will be an open X-Division Challenge to begin the in-ring action of the show. This will feature X-Division wrestlers from any promotion around the world. This could feature wrestlers from Japan or Mexico or England or wrestlers from the United States, of course. There will be invitations to wrestlers from many different promotions. There will be six wrestlers ultimately accepted in total. But their names will not be announced until the show begins. The winner of this match will receive a future X-Division title shot.
