<p>C-Verse '97.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

I did it, after toiling around from shitty hardcore promotion to USPW for 2 years, I created TCW despite HGC still being alive and strong. I changed HGC's events to something Hollywood related and took the TCW ones.</p><p> </p><p>

My plans were pretty set for Total Mayhem, I had Jack Bruce (he walked out of HGC and became 7x NEW Champion within like two years lmao) ready to take on Marat Khoklov, who did just debut but was already at 60 pop and Total Mayhem was 3 months away. So as a filler feud I had Rich Money challenge for the title alongside his friend Joe Sexy (tag name is Sexy Money, genius I know.)</p><p> </p><p>

Like all feuds that have an ally, Jack Bruce was against Joe Sexy in a regular match and of course gets injured and is out for an entire year. Surgery goes well thankfully and it's cut to six months but of course not enough time. </p><p> </p><p>

Honestly at a loss, Jungle Jack was just taken and is on his way to HGC which is okay, Jungle Jack and I ran the indies together but just **** me and take the bigger money offer I get it. </p><p> </p><p>

So now I had no choice but to give Marat Khoklov the title in a 4 way dance, as Joey Minnesota was Jack Bruce's ally for this feud as he is a NBT and I wanted him to work under Jack Bruce whose already an excellent worker, then have Joey Minnesota vs Khoklov at Total Mayhem in the main event.</p><p> </p><p>

Minnesota would classify as an Upper Midcard "Good" maybe "Great" worker, Khoklov would classify as a Main Eventer and well, hes not that good... yet, he is also a NBT thankfully. </p><p> </p><p>

My TCW is pop > perf as I've never played one before and am liking it, so it's not gonna be a TOTAL bust, it's just significantly worse as I wanted Jack to lose the title here and I have NO other top babyfaces so booking shows is getting rough with no real top babyface.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

I'm REALLY loving the CV97 mod, it's really been fun. Jack Bruce is infinitely better than he is in 2016 already, Rip Chord is 54 and still main eventing HGC shows (hes also capable of still pulling in 97* ratings too apparently.) I also have a few people I'd never push but am now, like uh, Spanish Superfly who is still pretty young and a good worker. Pablo Rodriguez who I don't have yet but did briefly until BHOTWG (who basically own Japan, anything in Japan just gets bought out except PGHW) took him away from me the same month Jungle Jack was taken.</p>

<p>Having fun as WWF still in early 1996. Building up to a huge HBK vs Undertaker match at Wrestlemania for the WWF Championship. <p>Just done Smackdown-Only PPV No Mercy in my WWE Save and I have to say it's going well and I'm having fun too!</p><p> </p><p>

Highlights of the show include:</p><p> </p><p>

The Tag Opener:</p><p>

<a href="https://gyazo.com/e99c5d54cdba7b6d55da05c76213ba6b" rel="external nofollow">https://gyazo.com/e99c5d54cdba7b6d55da05c76213ba6b</a></p><p> </p><p>

- The match was carried by Cesaro as he's easily the best out of them all, but it was a far better match than I expected.</p><p> </p><p>

Punk v Nakamura:</p><p>

<a href="https://gyazo.com/daafa2f3dc970e38a745834680d671a4" rel="external nofollow">https://gyazo.com/daafa2f3dc970e38a745834680d671a4</a></p><p> </p><p>

- Punk v Nakamura was always going to be good, I knew that, but it was Punks first match back, so it was pretty good.</p><p> </p><p>

Roode v Zayn:</p><p>

<a href="https://gyazo.com/621fee9bd3ee046c892f8a95322cbf14" rel="external nofollow">https://gyazo.com/621fee9bd3ee046c892f8a95322cbf14</a></p><p> </p><p>

- Slightly dissapointing compared to the other two, but a good match nonetheless. Roodes second PPV win as his hot streak is continuing.</p><p> </p><p>

Joe v Balor:</p><p>

<a href="https://gyazo.com/eae9870bcff2c0dca2b770a07fe6091e" rel="external nofollow">https://gyazo.com/eae9870bcff2c0dca2b770a07fe6091e</a></p><p> </p><p>

- The Feud is doing well. Balor won the opener, Joe got pissed and beat him up afterward. Joe then wins this match to set up next months feud ender at HIAC.</p><p> </p><p>

Lesnar v Ambrose:</p><p>

<a href="https://gyazo.com/3b58ac8c103cc13a06f6e2231cb02b03" rel="external nofollow">https://gyazo.com/3b58ac8c103cc13a06f6e2231cb02b03</a></p><p> </p><p>

- Lesnar debuts on his first Smackdown PPV since losing the Universal title. He had an open challenge which was accepted by Ambrose. I might make a return match at HIAC because it seems like a goods match for the Smackdown side of things.</p><p> </p><p>

WWE Title Match:</p><p>

<a href="https://gyazo.com/01646096a27fe1965e05a12fa4cbd7bd" rel="external nofollow">https://gyazo.com/01646096a27fe1965e05a12fa4cbd7bd</a></p><p> </p><p>

- Thank God this feud is ending! Wyatt does well in promos but never really steps it up in the ring, same can be said for Cena. It's going to be a bloody battle at HIAC to end the feud, not sure which way it'll go though.</p><p> </p><p>

Full Show:</p><p>

<a href="https://gyazo.com/86ca9bf01cd2cfb013db2e6e978fbe1a" rel="external nofollow">https://gyazo.com/86ca9bf01cd2cfb013db2e6e978fbe1a</a></p><p> </p><p>

- The Rock is the Smackdown General Manager, Shane made him the GM after Bryan announced that he's getting ready to return to the ring in 2018, plus to compete with Raw and Kurt Angle.</p><p> </p><p>

Hell In A Cell should be a good show, with a few repeat matches to end feuds, plus the RAW side of things too!</p>

<p>I've just gotten to December, Survivor Series was probably the biggest Event so far!</p><p> </p><p>

<a href="https://gyazo.com/4c30ce5fb3cdbb6e65aae23ee25cbe83" rel="external nofollow">https://gyazo.com/4c30ce5fb3cdbb6e65aae23ee25cbe83</a></p><p> </p><p>

Dean Ambrose costed Team Smackdown the Survivor Series Match by turning on John, if that wasn't clear enough. I finally ended the Punk v Nakamura feud, and started one between Cena and Ambrose, which might end at Royal Rumble, or Wrestlemania. Bray didn't defend his title because he was in the match, but he will defend it twice this month, once at Smackdown Only PPV Judgement Day and the next is in the Elimination Chamber match at Elimination Chamber, the event that airs on the last sunday of 2017. Not sure about the opponents, but right now it's looking like it'll be Wyatt v Strowman at JD and Wyatt v Strowman v Cena v Ambrose v Punk v Nakamura at EC.</p><p> </p><p>

In other Smackdown News, Derrick Bateman, fresh from Impact Wrestling, will be coming to Smackdown Live. He's going to start an 'World Against Me' storyline where he thinks everyone hates him because he left WWE, when really they don't care. The first person will be Sami Zayn because he's ok with putting people over that are decently over. Colin Cassady also turned heel, and now has Eric Bischoff as his mouthpiece. Not long until he targets the top guys. Neville is still going strong as the cruiserweight champion, and the plan is for him to lose it at Mania, either to Ricochet or Austin Aries (If Aries moves to Smackdown). </p><p> </p><p>

On the Raw side of things, I have a great womens division, so much so that I decided next year there will be a Womens Tag Team Title Tournament that ends at Mania. Asuka debuted and it will be Banks v Asuka at Raw Only PPV TLC, then the winner will defend it inside the Elimination Chamber. That match will feature some of (Recently returning) Paige, Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey, Charlotte, Alexa Bliss, Bayley, Peyton Royce, Billie Kay, Emma, Natalya, Ember Moon, Ashley Lane, Dana Brooke, Mickie James, Talia Madison, Melissa or Havok.</p><p> </p><p>

Dash Wilder was injured, thats why the Raw Tag match wasn't for any title. He'll be back for TLC though, so it's The Revival v The New Day at TLC....or it was until Kofi Kingston got injured for 27 days. This means I might have to leave the Revival/New Day until Rumble and have them against American Alpha instead. A new Mexican Star, going by the name of Arturo Gonzalez, is coming to Raw. He's Rush, but I thought I might use a better WWE Name than Rush, it doesn't sound very Main Eventerish to me, and I plan on him being a big part of the future. </p><p> </p><p>

Next year the Cruiserweight Classic comes to WWE, in February, and will feature two days of qualifying before the Finals in February. The winner will face Neville for the Cruiserweight Title at Mania, so it is a big deal for the Cruiserweights. Not sure how well it will do in ratings though, but the same can be said for the WWE Tag Team Classic, the WWE King Of The Ring and the WWE Womens Invitational. </p><p> </p><p>

This is pretty fun right now! <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Just finished Total Mayhem in my CV97 game..

It went pretty great, Ogiwara vs. Ichihara put on match of the night with a 92. Ended their feud and Ichihara got the title.

The Tag division is too early/unpopular but it almost pulled a 70 C, which is great imo. Rich Money and Joe Sexy won the titles against The New Wave (Guide & Scout) and Eddie Chandler and Dan DaLay. I enjoy Rich Money and Joe Sexy, and definitely plan on making Rich Money a multi-time World Champion if he can grow into a better worker.

Meanwhile a few other matches did well, nothing amazing though. Now onto the main event....

Joey Minnesota was around 65 popularity while Khoklov was 75, both had no real business main eventing, in fact this was supposed to be the opener that was going to go 10 minutes with Khoklov getting a stoppage victory. I could have had others main event but I wanted the main title to main event and thus this match was turned into 20 minutes, Khoklov still won by stoppage, though. Of course they also don't have good chemistry together.

It only got a 71 rating. This event would have easily earned a 90 rating, my highest rating yet in CV97, but alas it wasn't meant to be. Thankfully the rest of the show was great.

Jack Bruce comes back in a few months so hopefully I can do something with him.

<p>So, 3 and a half years in CV97 and Australian KCCW is still trekking towards regional. Here's what's been going on...</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Team BURNING vs The World</strong></p><p>

Team BURNING consists of Bryan "Sherlock" Holmes, UK Dragon and Tom Gilmore. The gimmick is pretty much "we tour in Japan so we're better than you". Brought them in to hammer in some wrestling skills into the locals, but I decided to team them up. Holmes is still dreadful in the mic, but is over with Dragon and Gilmore handling the entertainment. Holmes is our current Pacific Champion (the ME title) and is feuding with Jack Giedroyc. BURNING tried to bring Giedroyc into the stable (since he has also toured Japan), but Giedroyc refused and is now trying to grab his first title. He won't succeed because...</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Harry Simonson's Push Has No Brakes:</strong></p><p>

The two-year pro Harry Simonson has steadily climbed to the cusp of main event status and won the annual Battle for Australia in January. The tournament win granted him a title match against champion Lone Rider, but Holmes tricked Simonson into letting him in the match. Then Holmes pinned Simonson in the title match to win the title. Now Simonson and his tag partner Boo Smithson are looking to get revenge on Holmes and rise to the top. Smithon and Holmes actually had my best match yet (B-). </p><p> </p><p>

The plan is to have a 3- or 4-way match at the end of the year with Holmes, Simonson, Gilmore and Rider, with Gilmore getting the win and kicking Holmes out of BURNING (and probably hiring some goons while he's at it). Holmes will then challenge Gilmore unsuccesfully. Then Simonson chases Gilmore till he wins the title, hopefully around 2001. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Tag Division:</strong></p><p>

The Adequate Partners (The Comedian & Butch Perry) hold the titles and are embroiled in a never-ending feud with the LDRS of the New School (Lanny Williams & Debonair David Peterson). Peterson frequently refuses to job. Other teams include Aggressive Tendencies (Michael Rheur & Saul Rubbernick, who is a backstage troublemaker and thus a jobber for life), Stay Classy (Classy Paul Massey & regen Edward Nash), Unlimited Violence (Max Langstrom & Septimus Stubbs) and the aforementioned Simonson & Smithson, collectively known as The Future (mighty generic, I know). </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Other Big Feuds:</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Lone Rider and BEEG Jim Teasdale have re-newed their brutal rivalry in my attempts to drive Jim's popularity down, so he would job to SOMEONE without throwing a fit. Rider and Teasdale feuded through 97 and I've kept them apart since. </p><p> </p><p>

Jack Avatar (UC) is locking horns with former champion Sharky George. Sharky was my top babyface, until he got jealous of the adulation that the veteran Lone Rider got from the fans. In their big title match Sharky finally snapped, hit Rider with the title belt and beat him senseless. Rider chased him and got the title. The big blow-off was a bit disappointing (C rating, was hoping for a C+ with B- heat) so Sharky has been rampaging through the roster for another shot at the top. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Notable Midcarders:</strong></p><p>

Trehawke Philips bloody sucks. Despite topping my hot prospects -list for the whole game (with "is showing signs of turning into a fantastic in-ring performer), he still shits the bed in singles matches. He has gotten some big programs and has failed to deliver while Simonson, Smithson and Stubbs have excelled. Thankfully for him, he has excellent tag chemistry with Lone Rider and the two have delivered some great tag matches. I just want to keep Rider in the ME-scene for now. </p><p> </p><p>

New Zealand Pitbull is a fine brawler and has excellent chemistry fighting Sharky. They will have another top tier rivalry some day. For now, he's just a gatekeeper. </p><p> </p><p>

Septimus Stubbs has exceeded all of my expectations with his mic work na dbeing a good brawler and a good hardcore worker. His feuds with Rider and Sharky carried the company in 97 and 98. Is now doing tag work with Max Langstrom and keeping The Future occupied for a while. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Meanwhile...</strong></p><p>

HGC has hired everybody. The end. </p><p> </p><p>

...</p><p> </p><p>

This has probably been my favourite save in TEW. Trying to train these avarage at best workers has been really fun. Just hoping another Aussie company would pop up before APW to get some more work for the wrestlers.</p>

<p>After about a year and half of losses between 100-150k every single month, I've finally made a profit in July 2017 with GCG. This was my very first game so I had no idea that the tsunami was coming, which wrecked my attendance, growth, and sources of income.</p><p> </p><p>

I also did sign KC Glenn, Raymond Diaz, Natsu Miyamoto and Akinori Kwami (the latter two were let go by PHGW, the former two I had to have for my new gaijin stable, The Golden Army led by Golden Greg Gauge) which really started eating into my profits. GCG starts with 2.5 million in the bank and thank god for that - I was down to 312k before finally turning a profit.</p><p> </p><p>

I also bought Black Canvas Grappling once they fell into debt. Gonna run them as a development company for a bit (touring makes people develop FAST) and bring their midcarders in to get crushed every now and again, might make a BCG stable to invade once I've grown to National or pruned my roster a bit.</p>

<p>I'm at a bit of a tricky situation when it comes to Neville and the Cruiserweight Title. So far Neville has pretty much defended it against everyone on the Smackdown roster (It's a SD Only Title, just like the Womens Title on Raw) and has 17 defences going into 2018. Now, I have a Cruiserweight Classic PPV coming up in February and the winner gets a shot at the Cruiserweight title at Wrestlemania, but I was originally only having it be Smackdown guys. I have a few good cruisers on Raw, including Austin Aries/Kalisto. </p><p> </p><p>

I think I might have Aries win the Cruiserweight Classic 2018, and then face Neville for the title, but apart from Aries no-one else is on the 'Neville Level' so to speak. Do you think I should have the CC open to both brands? That way I guess Aries could win it and then maybe if the Raw Superstar wins the title, they will be drafted to Smackdown. I'm still not entirely sure though.</p>

<p>What is your long term plan for Neville and the CW title? Are you just plodding Long without a plan?</p><p> </p><p>

HAve you got a guy you want to sign later to take the title? Or a guy he's allready beat that you can build to overcome him ?</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Having another thought about what I would do?</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

This would work better if the champion wasn't British, however. </p><p> </p><p>

I would perhaps turn this into a huge story to get several people over.</p><p> </p><p>

Neville has beaten faces and heels alike, all comers. More and More brutally. </p><p> </p><p>

In comes Regal to put a stop to Nevilles reign of terror. </p><p> </p><p>

Regal introduces his face group to stop Neville. </p><p> </p><p>

Regal brings together Gentleman Jack, Noam Darr, Tyler Bates and Pete Dunne. A british Stable of faces to put down Neville. </p><p> </p><p>

They face Neville one by one with Regal by their side, and while they do better then when they faced Neville before they fallshort, but every match Regal gets closer to one of his guys beating Neville. </p><p> </p><p>

Jack Gallager is being built up as the main underdog guy and most popular face of the group. </p><p> </p><p>

Jack is the last of the guys to face Neville under Regals group. He's seen the major face to take the title somehow, someway. After a hard fought match, Jack has the upperhand and looks to pin Neville. Just then Dunne distracts the ref, Jack turns to Regalasking whats going on? Regal lays him out with the power of the punch, Neville hits the Red Arrow and gets the win. post match all of Regals group goes and beats up Gnetleman Jack. </p><p> </p><p>

Tyler Bate is their, however he looks shocked and concerned at the what has happens and doesn't attack Jack, however he doesn't stop and goes back with the group after the beating finishes. </p><p> </p><p>

Now you have. Regals now heel group with guys like Neville as champion, Pete Dunne, Noam Dar. and a reluctant Tyler Bates (UK champion)</p><p> </p><p>

Regals group would dominate in every match they're in. </p><p> </p><p>

Tyler leaves the group by helping to stop another beatdown on Jack. Tyler gets attack afterwards for his trouble. </p><p> </p><p>

Now you have Tyler and Jack together. </p><p> </p><p>

Regals group together </p><p> </p><p>

and everyone else like Aries on their own. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

I would build this up to two matches at Mania. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

CW title match</p><p> </p><p>

Neville v Jack </p><p> </p><p>

UK title match</p><p> </p><p>

Tyler Bates v Regal or Pete Dunne</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

You could play up the Regal group to also be disgruntled at being pigeon holed into the CW divison and have them attack guys on Raw and SD capture the Tag titles or the US title with the help of Regal.</p>

<p>Thats a really good storyline plan! I'm looking to get Stu Bennett back in too, so he could somehow be linked into it. As for cruiserweights on Raw, Aries was doing an open challenge for a few months, because he's been unbeaten on Raw, while the other cruiserweight, Kalisto, wasn't doing much of note. I also had Rich Swann and Mistico (Original) in a team because they had excellent chemistry, but Mistico kept on doing stupid shit backstage so eventually I fired him and Rich Swann moved to Smackdown. </p><p> </p><p>

As for people I'd like to build the Cruiserweight title around, there's a few. Aries and Neville are the top 2 right now, but people like Gargano, Ospreay & Ricochet can be leading stars there too. Maybe Kota Ibushi even too. Aries and Neville I also want to be Main Eventers in the future and get a Smackdown World Title run sometime down the line.</p>

<p>If you follow all or parts of my idea. You could keep Aries away from the Regal group drama mostly, have him doing what he's doing. However I would give him a silent bodyguard past a certain point. A sid or Diesel type. </p><p> </p><p>

In terms of Neville being pushed up to Smackdowns top champion, after Mania and Jack taking the CW title off him.. you could, like I suggested, have Regals attention turn to Smackdown and help Neville go up the card and assist him in taking the Top strap.</p><p> </p><p>

You could then bring in an Ibushi or Ricochet type to fill the gap left by Neville moving up. Jack has mini feuds/ title defences against the Darrs, Kendricks whilst Ibushi.. etc get built up to face hm and take the strap at a Summerslam/ survivor series or whatever. </p><p> </p><p>

As you can see I'm a big Gentleman Jack Mark, I think the guy is Gold and his stuff with props like umbrellas can be used to get him wins against people bigger than him.</p>

Fast Lane has come and gone and four 97+ rated matches later, we are truely on our way to WRESTLEMANIA!

RAW

Sami Zayn is your new WWE Universal Champion! Zayn became a two time champion after defeating Kevin Owens at Fast Lane, defeating the man who ended his first reign in minutes due to Money in the Bank. It wasn't without controversy as both KO's running partner Chris Jericho and his ally Triple H stuck their nose where they shouldn't have, but RAW General Manager Mick Foley made things right, help Zayn leave with the Universal title. Due to this, tension between Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and Foley are at an all time high. The following night on RAW, Steph was with Mr McMahon and Triple about to fire Foley when Director of Talent Initiatives and Brand Expansion, Eric Bischoff, suggested a 5 vs 5 Winner Take All Match at Wrestlemania. Triple H will lead Team Steph with Jericho, Ethan Carter III, Batista and Samoa, while the likes of Enzo Amore, Big Cass, Katsuyori Shibata, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns volunteered for Team Foley. Who will leave Wrestlemania with control of RAW?

Two truely deserving contenders faced off at Fast Lane for the #1 contendership, where Finn Balor defeated Adam Cole. With the controversy at Fast Lane, Balor will join Zayn and Owens in a fatal three way for the WWE Universal Title at Wrestlemania! The year prior, Balor defended the same title and defeated Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura. Will history repeat itself?

AJPW Triple Crown champion Shinsuke Nakamura is now feuding with then-WWE Cruiserweight champion Kenny Omega who claimed Nakamura left Japan to avoid Omega. Nakamura defeated Omega at Fast Lane by DQ due to interference from Smackdown's AJ Styles, but the next night on RAW, Nakamura cost Omega his Cruiserweight title to Cedric Alexander, who will now be the face of the division. Will Nakamura be able to continue to fend off Bullet Club as he defends his title?

Ricochet & Will Ospreay remain Tag Team champions, fending off Gallows & Anderson at Fast Lane, but now face the challenge of the latter team, Motor City Machine Guns and Sheamus & Rusev heading into Wrestlemania. Can the duo retain the titles on the biggest stage of them all?

Big E regained his US Title off The Miz despite Miz's efforts to retain the title on numerous occassions thanks to Maryse and his new alliance with The Prime Time Players. Will they settle it for good at Wrestlemania?

Nia Jax continues her dominant Women's title reign but will face Sasha Banks, Bayley, Candice LeRae, Paige and Alexa Bliss at the Show of Shows. Will her run continue?

CHAMPIONS: Universal - Sami Zayn (2); United States - Big E (2); Tag Team - Ricochet & Will Ospreay; Women's - Nia Jax; Cruiserweight - Cedric Alexander; AJPW Triple Crown - Shinsuke Nakamura (3).

SMACKDOWN

After a successful inaugural Lethal Lottery, the team of John Cena and Kazuchika Okada won the tournament, defeating Dolph Ziggler & Jeff Hardy in the final. Cena made it known to Okada that he was opting for the WWE World title shot, so the two faced off to open Fast Lane with Okada pulling off an upset. Okada would go on to a 99 rated match with Bray Wyatt later in the night but come up short. Bray Wyatt now goes to Wrestlemania's main event to defend against Royal Rumble winner, The Rock! Can Wyatt overcome The Rock once again or will he fall on the grandest stage?

Cena, looking to redeem himself, will now challenge Okada for both the GHC Heavyweight and W-1 Heavyweight titles at Wrestlemania, the latter of which he previously held, however former 2 and 3 time holder of each belt respectively, AJ Styles, made it known he wants both titles back. Who will walk out of Wrestlemania a double champion, Styles, Okada or Cena?

The drama between Daniel Bryan and CM Punk continues. After weeks of being denied his "rightful" WWE World title shot, Punk took it out on members of the Smackdown roster and eventually challenge Daniel Bryan to a match for his title shot. Knowing full well Daniel Bryan can't complete, Shane McMahon stepped in and accepted the challenge and faced Punk at Fast Lane. Punk would overcome McMahon but post-match lay a beat down on McMahon until Daniel Bryan finally accepted for a match at Wrestlemania! Bryan's uncertainty over his condition even saw Daniel try to orchestra a trade with RAW at the recent King of Trios tournament but Foley didn't want that trouble on his brand (not sure if Steph felt the same way, who could have fleeced Punk off Smackdown for cents on the dollar, despite her feelings towards Punk). Will Bryan gear up for Wrestlemania or will Punk expose Bryan for what he has become?

After a successful defense of the Intercontinental title by Cody Rhodes against his Lethal Lottery partner Dean Ambrose, Rhodes heads into Wrestlemania and will look forward to a ladder match with Ambrose, Jeff Hardy, Dolph Ziggler, Alberto Del Rio and Drew McIntyre. Can Cody keep the defenses going or will Bullet Club step in and help him out?

After avoiding a challenge from Lethal Lottery winners Cena and Okada, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan walk into Wrestlemania Smackdown Tag Team champs but will be faced with more than suitable challengers. American Alpha finally rid themselves of The Young Bucks in a 99 rated show stopper and will now challenge for the titles. However, two more teams lay claim to the titles in Beer Money Inc and Cesaro & Kassius Ohno. Bobby Roode & Ohno were teamed together in the Lethal Lottery, falling short to Cena & Okada in the final four, but both have gathered their normal partners and look to build on that success when they challenge the Wyatts at Wrestlemania.

Tyson Kidd is your new GHC Junior Heavyweight champion, defeating former champ Caristico and now-former-WWE United Kingdom champion Neville at Fast Lane. Will Caristico challenge for the title at Wrestlemania or will a new challenger step up? In other news, Charlotte remains Smackdown Women's champ but the likes of Asuka and Becky Lynch are nipping at her heels.

CHAMPIONS: World Heavyweight - Bray Wyatt; Intercontinental - Cody Rhodes (3); Smackdown Tag Team - Erick Rowan & Luke Harper; Smackdown Women's - Charlotte (2); GHC Heavyweight - Kazuchika Okada; W-1 Heavyweight - Kazuchika Okada; GHC Junior Heavyweight - Tyson Kidd.

OTHER WWE UNIVERSE HAPPENINGS

In events out of my control, Killian Dain defeated Neville for the WWE United Kingdom title at WPL Attack 18 (The monthly event of my Japanese developmental brand). The former Big Damo had just dropped the WWE PROGRESS Intercommonwealth title in PROGRESS (Another WWE brand), to non-WWE contracted talent James Davis, and was moved to WPL with a new name in preparation of his eventual move to the main roster post-Wrestlemania. Dain now looks like he'll be coming to the main roster with some gold over his shoulder.

A three night tournament has just taken place to crown the first-ever WWE Six Man Tag Team Champions! The tournament was held in conjunction with the former CHIKARA promotion, which was taken over by WWE, and saw 16 three-man teams compete to add to the legacy of the King of Trios tournament! Teams were permitted to be inter-brand, so stars from RAW, Smackdown and developmental were able to make a team and enter. Day 3 saw the semi finals of The Shield (Ambrose, Reigns, Rollins) defeated by The Club (Styles, Gallows, Anderson) thanks to members of Team Steph interferring. The other semi final saw the team of CHAOS (Nakamura, Okada, Ospreay) defeat The Dream Team (Omega, Matt Jackson, and Adam Cole replacing an Nick Jackson, who was injured at Fast Lane) to prevent an all-Bullet Club final. That didn't stop the Biz Cliz claiming the titles as The Club defeated CHAOS thanks to an attack from Omega on Nakamura, and preventing CHAOS from adding to their collection of gold.

WWE have severed ties with developmental brand Florida Championship Wrestling and created a new touring brand, Power of Wrestling. FCW have greatly benefited from their airing on the WWE Network but must now go it alone with a new roster but still with Cary Silkin in charge and Rikishi booking. The new POW brand will start very small in local markets, booked by Shane Douglas, but will see them bring in talent from other promotions to tour with the brand, along with those in the lower rungs of WWE's developmental system.

WWE have also announced the acquisition of both EVOLVE and PWG, which both will cease operations immediately. Like with CHIKARA, WWE will present one-off WWE Network specials as a final goodbye to both promotions' fans and to honour their legacy that lives on in WWE. One of the main driving forces behind the PWG purchase was the acquisition of the Battle of Los Angeles tournament and history, which will still be held yearly in September.

In other developmental news, Taurus aka Gran Guerrero has left CMLL and joined the ASTROS promotion (my Mexican developmental brand) and has joined up with Ultimo Guerrero, who just dropped the WWE Super Astros World title to Gran Metallik. Other signings to the WWE Universe include Shane Strickland and Jonathan Gresham, who will join the main NXT developmental brand, and a number of female Japanese stars to help strengthen the WPL's Joshi division. WPL are also happy to announce that Milano Collection AT has signed with WWE and will join Steve Corino at the announce booth for WPL in the coming weeks.

Proud to announce that Wrestlemania 34 was my most successful event yet and my first EVER 100 rated card! Here is a rundown from the bottom to the top (note: booking length was turned off for this one event, creating a 7 hour card! I just wanted to make sure everyone was on the card, with only a few women and The Dudleyz missing out. There was also a 2 hour kickoff show but no matches of significance there.) :

WWE Intercontinental Title Ladder Match

Cody Rhodes © def. Dean Ambrose, Jeff Hardy, Drew McIntyre, Alberto Del Rio and Dolph Ziggler

Cody continues his IC title reign with a clean victory in the show opener. Ambrose took a crazy bump but it was Jeff Hardy who walked away with a minor injury.

WWE RAW Tag Team Title Match

Ricochet & Will Ospreay (c's) def. Gallows & Anderson, Rusev & Sheamus & The Motor City Machineguns

The high-flying duo continue their impressive run as tag champs, but the competition is heating up with The Shining Stars, American Wolves, Roppongi Vice and even the Golden Truth nipping at their heels, and let's not forget Enzo & Cass and The New Day.

WWE United States Title Match

Big E © def. The Miz

Big E ends his feud with Miz on the show of shows, successfully defending his title.

WWE RAW Women's Title Match

NEW CHAMPION! Alexa Bliss def. Paige, Bayley, Nia Jax ©, Candice LeRae and Sasha Banks

Alexa claims her first Women's title with a quick roll up to win this six pack challenge

CM Punk's World title rematch on the line

Daniel Bryan def. CM Punk

After months of torturing Daniel and even beating Shane McMahon at Fast Lane, CM Punk challenge Daniel to his first match in three years with his World title rematch on the line. After 24 minutes of action, Punk tested Bryan to the end but it was the interference of Randy Orton and Goldberg that gave Bryan the submission victory.

Title vs Title, AJPW Triple Crown & W-1 Heavyweight Titles on the line

W-1 Heavyweight champion Kenny Omega def. Shinsuke Nakamura for the AJPW Triple Crown

This turned into a title vs title match after Omega, who cost Nakamura, Okada and Ospreay the Six Man Titles, challenged Okada to put one his titles on the line at the one off WWE Saturday Night Main Event and claimed the W-1 Title thanks to AJ Styles. Omega was able to prevail cleanly over Nakamura at Mania, giving him his own double title reign!

WWE Smackdown Women's Title Match

Charlotte © def. Asuka, Becky Lynch & Natalya

Charlotte continues her impressive reign with the Smackdown title, will a new challenger step up Post-Wrestlemania? Word is that Shane McMahon is looking to shake up a Smackdown Women's division that was revolved around these 4 women.

GHC Junior Heavyweight Title Match

Tyson Kidd © def. Neville & Caristico

A title win for Caristico changed last second after his actions backstage got him beat down by Braun Strowman. As a result Kidd was able to retain, but word is that some new challengers may arrive Post-Mania.

GHC Heavyweight Title Match

Kazuchika Okada © def. AJ Styles & John Cena

Tensions were boiling between Okada & Cena leading up to the match, and after Styles cost Okada his W-1 Title to RAW's Omega, Okada was determined to retain here. Despite the best efforts of The Young Bucks, Okada was able to do so and would later shake hands with Cena, who had rejected his handshake only two weeks prior.

Special interbrand Challenge Match

Brock Lesnar def. Kurt Angle

Still unconcerned with titles and just looking for the best challenge, RAW's Lesnar defeated Smackdown's Angle by submission. Who will Heyman line up next for The Beast Incarnate?

WWE Cruiserweight Title Match

Cedric Alexander © def. Jay Lethal, Kota Ibushi, Tajiri, Eddie Edwards & Rocky Romero

Cedric continues his impressive run ever since defeating Omega for the Cruiserweight Title, and wins a six pack challenge that included three former CW champions. With Ricochet, Ospreay, Omega and Adam Cole now out of the CW division, will we see a new addition Post-Mania?

The Monster Amongst Men vs The Deadman

Braun Strowman def. The Undertaker

Strowman's astronomic ascent up the ranks continued as he defeated Taker in a slobberknocker. Will we see Strowman enter the World title scene, where his leader Bray Wyatt reigned supreme leading up to Wrestlemania?

WWE Smackdown Tag Team Title Match

NEW CHAMPIONS! Cesaro & Kassius Ohno def. Luke Harper & Erick Rowan (c's), American Alpha & Beer Money Inc.

The former Kings of Wrestling earn their first ever WWE Tag Team Titles, but with Nick Jackson now back from injury, will The Young Bucks step back up into the title picture in the overly stacked Smackdown tag team division, which also includes The Ascension, Killer Elite Squad, The Hardyz, Slater & Rhyno and The Uso's?

Control of RAW on the line!

Stephanie McMahon's team of Triple H, Batista, Ethan Carter III, Chris Jericho & Samoa Joe def. Mick Foley's team of Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Katsuyori Shibata, Enzo Amore & Big Cass

Foley is out of RAW after Team Steph come out on top thanks to the interference of Kevin Nash. Who will Steph name as her new General Manager, and how will Steph respond to those who joined the fight to represent Mick at Mania?

Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Zack Ryder def. 29 other superstars to win

Zack has been floating around the micard and in the Hype Bros tag team. Is this a sign that Ryder will be moved up the card? The final four also included Trent Barreta, Vance Archer and Tetsuya Naito.

WWE Universal Title Match

Sami Zayn © def. Kevin Owens & Finn Balor

In his first title defense, Zayn fends off two time champion Balor and his arch-nemesis Kevin Owens. How will Triple H & Stephanie respond to their chosen champion Owens failing to recapture the gold, and what's next for Finn?

WWE World Heavyweight Title Match

Bray Wyatt © def. The Rock

In their second one on one matchup, Wyatt once again defeated The People's Champion, this time on the grandest stage of them all. Who will step up next for Wyatt and what will The Rock do next?

I'm at a bit of a tricky situation when it comes to Neville and the Cruiserweight Title.

I'm still not entirely sure though.

Here's what I'd do: Continue with your CWC and have your best cruiserweight on either brand win it to face Neville at Mania. Neville wins to show he's clearly demolished everyone in the division so he decides to drop the belt and move up out of the CW division. Crown a new champion however, that's irrelevant to my idea. Once Neville leaves the CW division he really flounders or just doesn't make the impact he hoped out of the division so he decides to go back to CW. Once he's back he has somewhat lost his mojo and he's now the CW division is more competitive and he isn't dominating everyone.

Finally moved from cult to international(max size was cult) and the first show on the newly made ROH Network saw the best main event so far. <p><span style="font-size:18px;">A Report from the sports pages of The Durham City Times 10th January 1970 </span></p><p> </p><p>

Grandma and little Jim alike know of the strength and skill on show with the various wrestling shows we have seen on ITV since the 50's. </p><p> </p><p>

We have marvelled at the comedy of Les Kellet, the graceful take downs of Pete Roberts and the strength and size of Geoff Portz. But never have we had the pleasure of having wrestling events held in our county... until now. </p><p> </p><p>

A local Lad has set up the wresting promotion Durham City Wrestling, and despite not initially starting on TV it boasts a roster the likes of which The United Kingdom has never seen on the same card, mixing big names of UK scene like those mentioned above with young guys just getting their chance, like Marc Rocco. They have boasted that Stars of America will be showing up from time to time from the glorious NWA. Sputnik Monroe being the first American to try his luck against the Wizards of the Mat in the UK. Their are rumors of a young French Giant being a part of the company, however, that could just be all hype, surly we won't be seeing a giant, right? </p><p> </p><p>

A particularly working class area, with coal minors being the main source of Income of Durham and the surrounding area's like Sunderland, Hartlepool, Newcastle etc. It remains to be seen if the working class families will take to the new and improved style of wrestling that DCW promise, going from the roots of technical catch wrestling with some comedy thrown in which they have love for over 20 years to a the slightly more razzmatazz style that DCW aim to have on their shows.</p><p> </p><p>

We wish them luck and hope the company can blossom into a cornerstone of the UK wrestling scene and put our county on the Map. </p><p> </p><p>

Their first show " DCW: Clash at the Cathedral" is on the Last Sunday of This month on the Durham Cathedral Grounds. Seats going at £1 a person with under 10's going free with every adult.</p>

<p>Playing my RTG game in the 97 Cornell-Verse. Just had my 2 best matches in my very first show of 1999. As I posted in the RTG thread, NOTBPW was bought out by SWF in October of 98, so the Stones are all working for me exclusively (except when they tour with Hinote). </p><p> </p><p>

My first ever 70 rated match featured Dan Stone Jr. vs Steve Flash in the one of the beginning matches. Then my main event, Jeremy & Duane Stone vs. Rick Sanders & Joel Kovach for the BSE Tag Titles came in at a 72! What a brilliant start to the year! </p><p> </p><p>

Also, according to the figurehead screen, my user character is finally at the point where nobody overshadows him in the main event scene. Unfortunately, I'm only 75 baby face so that's a bit worrying. However, due to my user character becoming ripped, my SQ is 95 now, and with constant "Promo training" with the likes of Eric Tyler and Alex Braun on basically every show, my Charisma is up to 85.</p><p> </p><p>

Really enjoying this RTG. I think I'll have a regional TV show covering my home area (Tri-State) within a couple of months. Also contemplating whether I should sign Nemesis to a PPA deal to get a couple matches out of him for ratings.</p>

<p>Sorry for the potential long post just wanted to share because I am loving this game again!</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Also aboard the CV97 hype train. Total Mayhem II is on the way but let me go into the state of the World! Currently September 2004.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:14px;">United States:</span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;">

</span></p><p>

SWF - #1 but declining rapidly and losing a lot of the stars it acquired from buying out NOTBPW and CGC and 4C. They literally bought out all of Canada... and then got raided by BHOTWG and HGC. The last stars they have left are Masked Patriot, Jim Force, Jack DeColt, and a severely declining Sam Keith.</p><p> </p><p>

HGC - #2 National. Strong and Rip Chord are not going anywhere, they remind me of late WCW, I made TCW so I changed their events but left their roster completely untouched. Sam Strong and Rip Chord are both main eventers in their mid to late 50s. Rip Chord just gave Bruce The Giant a career ending injury as well. Still with Bryan Vessey, Mr. Hollywood, Dan Stone Jr, Steve DeColt, Ricky Dale Johnson, and Christian Faith they are definitely going to be going strong the remaining decade.</p><p> </p><p>

TCW - #3 National. I hit National pretty quickly, largely because I built up the same workers no matter what promotion I was in and the popularity helped amazingly well. I'm closely contesting the national battle and am winning it now that Bruce is gone. Shame I really wanted Bruce too as I have Khoklov and Khoklov vs Bruce sounds like money. My major players are Jack Bruce, Haruki Kudo (scandal, got him when heat died down,) Marat Khoklov, Spanish Superfly, and BLZ Bubb. I also have the Magic Three from 5SSW (Ichihara/Ogiwara/Hike) and Kit, alongside Farrah Hesketh and June Butler. Basically TCW has the best women's wrestling right now. And have major players working in my developmental.</p><p> </p><p>

The rest follow: XFW beat out DAVE they hit Cult and are a very distant 4th, even SWF are still ahead of them but honestly they have about the same in terms of starpower. I gutted USPW, as I was their booker but they are still okay. AAA, NYCW, PPPW all round out the top 10. </p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:14px;">Canada</span></p><p> </p><p>

Literally barren. No promotion except "ELOW" a generic one that is all women's wrestling only. SWF bought everything out.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:14px;">Mexico</span></p><p> </p><p>

OLLIE - #1 Cult, looking real good. I have a working agreement with 'em as well. Although they haven't made any workers exclusive just yet. They are easily the #1 promotion in Mexico. I'd name their star workers but literally every Mexican promotion is sharing talent so as long as OLLIE remains cult before the others and sign up workers exclusively they will hold Mexico hostage. One thing to note is Nicolas Lopez and Mayan Idol are both absent.</p><p> </p><p>

MPWF - #2 Regional, about the same as OLLIE just smaller, a bit smaller, but too far off but not unrealistically able to compete. Not much to say.</p><p> </p><p>

SOTBPW - #3 Regional, distant 3rd to even MPWF. They're going to suffer immensely once OLLIE gets the top tier talent. I can see them getting bought out by OLLIE.</p><p> </p><p>

FFLL - #4 Local, All female promotion. Not really a direct competitor to the others, as none of them have a female division.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:14px;">British Isles</span></p><p> </p><p>

MOSC - #1, Regional. British Isles are very undeveloped right now. Nothing to talk about. MOSC is #1 by virtue of being around the longest.</p><p> </p><p>

ROF - #2 Regional. Nothing to say again.</p><p> </p><p>

21CW - #3 Regional. 21CW and ROF both have Bryan Holmes under contract. I wish I could help flesh out the UK, as it's really unexciting despite being in a similar spot Mexico is in.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:14px;">Japan</span></p><p> </p><p>

PGHW - #1, Cult. Their TV deals get them #1 even though in terms of everything else they are #2. BHOTWG has made sure EVERYTHING is under their control but PGHW eludes them even further. Nice to see at least PGHW stays alive, despite the two going to "War" in 2002.</p><p> </p><p>

BHOTWG - #2, National. The Kings of Japan has made sure to purchase WLW, 5SSW, SAISHO, GCG, Big Battle Wrestling, and two generic promotions. They are dominant and have like 85+ popularity in Japan, while PGHW has about 70. I'd name all their talent but both PGHW and BHOTWG are way too massive.</p><p> </p><p>

Hinote Dojo - #3 Regional, feeder league for BHOTWG. They live because they are allowed to.</p><p> </p><p>

Wild Dream Joshi - #4 Regional, Honestly shocked they are still alive. I took the Magic Three from them too. They are alive since 1999 and gave the Joshi a place to actually wrestle long term which is healthy for the game honestly. I hope they last.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:14px;">Europe</span></p><p> </p><p>

Ultimate Combat Ring - #1, Regional. The survivor of a pretty cool if not insignificant war. They outlasted European World Class Wrestling for a year, then came Ultimate European Wrestling which again... lasted for a year. And then in 2001 European League of Professional Fighters were formed and lasted a year... All in all UCR has survived 3 wars which is pretty cool. They are healthy and #14 in the World.. Europe sucks but it's cool.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:14px;">Australia</span></p><p>

Deader than Canada. Deep Impact Wrestling just didn't have the income for their hardcore product and Kingdom Championship Class Wrestling lasted two years before finally dying out. Makes me sad, but the good news is many decent Aussie workers went to the States like the Melbourne Blondes and Debonair David.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

That's the world from 1997 to 2004. Hope it was a half-decent read for whoever mucked through all that. One thing I wanna mention is how many good workers have to retire young... Brent Hill, Lobster Warrior, Genghis Rahn, Inky the Squid Boy (a tragedy...) Bala Negra Jr. Stuart Ferdinand, The Great Hisato (this one sucks,) and Stink. A few other lesser known ones too.</p><p> </p><p>

Bruce the Giant and a few others are out with injuries that are career ending as well so this list grows. It sucks to lose Lobster Warrior and Inky, Bala Negra Jr. was actually someone I wanted to bring in. Stuart was reliable and a near-elite worker before retiring but he was 40 when he did retire so unlike the others his career was at least fulfilling.</p>
