<p>Seeing as you're multiple years ahead of me, it's interesting to see how the world plays out. Basically Burning Hammer is like SOTBPW is in the default db. That's crazy.</p><p> </p><p>

Also, I have Lobby and both machines. Hopefully neither retire. I'm really hoping I can reach cult to lock down my technical workers. All 3 stones and Steve Flash I wanna lock up before I lose them. Unfortunately I'm a ways off.</p>

I just hired some new midcard guys and a couple new main eventers to keep things fresh so I won't go on a hiring spree for another few months. <p>So I was just casually checking my roster just before booking wrestlemania and I saw this:</p><p>

<a href="https://gyazo.com/0f3ddad1e8011313614a00ea475cc800" rel="external nofollow">https://gyazo.com/0f3ddad1e8011313614a00ea475cc800</a></p><p> </p><p>

I did not realise he was this over! My plan for him is to either lose the title or vacate it as he thinks he's too good for it. I'd also like him to be drafted to Raw so I can have Neville v Jeff Hardy for the IC Title <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> :D <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Edit:</p><p>

I got this for my Wrestlemania Hype Special, which is kinda like a house show, hyping for the next days Mania</p><p>

Edit 2:</p><p>

Wrestlemania 34!</p><p>

<a href="https://gyazo.com/bfc280ad99dbb230983235d524050626" rel="external nofollow">https://gyazo.com/bfc280ad99dbb230983235d524050626</a></p><p>

Really disappointed with the Main Event, although maybe the entrance video stuff shouldn't be spammed.</p><p>

The Mexican Sensations are Alberto Del Rio and Arturo Gonzalez (Rush). </p><p>

Really happy with the 90 matches, Sasha/Rousey & Neville/Aries I honestly didn't expect to be THAT good.</p>

<p>Just booked my first Wrestlemania-esque event. Sunday, Week 3, 1999. In front of 3600 souls in the Mid-South, WrestleBowl I feautured Nemesis vs Chris Carnage (user) for the BSE World title. I retained in my highest rated match to date with an 83! Also on the show, we had The Stones (Duane and Jeremy) defending their BSE tag team titles against the Spirit Warriors (Dark Eagle, Golden Scorpion) in my now second highest rated match (76) thus far. The show got my best show rating by a very large margin at a 78 B. </p><p> </p><p>

Also, it was the final show to push my pop over 42 in the Mid-South, which means a Mid-South television deal!</p><p> </p><p>

My RTG is going very well!</p>

So I'm WCW in 98 and just tried to end the hostility with ECW, they declined so now in the most Vinnie Mac way possible me as Eric Bischoff have extended written contracts to all the main event and Upper Mid card guys with no plans for any of them just to stick it to Paul and his company

Just had Casey Valentine leave to do a movie. 2 weeks later his popularity in USA and Canada jumped from the middle to low 70s to 100 and his start quality from 81 to 100. Once he comes back he should help firmly keep me ahead of SOTBPW, USPW, and SWF in the national battles.

<p>Just done the first PPV since stopping the brand split and have to say, it went pretty well!</p><p> </p><p>

<a href="https://gyazo.com/c8cdf66f5c7128db065de473f9e6ef49" rel="external nofollow">https://gyazo.com/c8cdf66f5c7128db065de473f9e6ef49</a></p><p> </p><p>

- Strowman/Wyatt aren't feuding, but something tells me that maybe I should have the feud to eventually turn Bray face.</p><p> </p><p>

- The Bullet Club is led by Styles/Omega, so while AJ is feuding with Balor over the MITB Contract, Omega will be feuding with Cena, because dream match I guess. I might have Balor turn before he cashes the MITB Contract in and have him lead BC though.</p><p> </p><p>

- Big E turned on kofi and christened himself Edward Langston. Meanwhile Xavier Woods only just returned after the sex scandal, went in NXT for a while and came out as a heel, revealing that he was the person that made Edward turn on his friend Kofi, leading to this match.</p><p> </p><p>

- Perfect Tens are Dillinger/Hennig, and they work well together so it's really useful. Wrestling Kings might be unstoppable!</p><p> </p><p>

- Since leaving the Cruiserweight Division, Neville set his sights on Jeff Hardy and the Intercontinental Title. He won it from him and then that was his first defence. Looking for a good long reign for the King of the....IC scene?</p><p> </p><p>

- Looking to start a CM Punk v Jeff Hardy storyline going into Summerslam. It's pretty much going to be a rehash of their old feud, straight edge etc etc, but they have had good chemistry in the past so it might be good.</p><p> </p><p>

- King Rusev can't be stopped! I have a feeling a new WWE Champion will be crowned at Summerslam, but who could it be!</p><p> </p><p>

- King Of The Ring is coming up next and whoever wins it will face Rusev at Summerslam</p>

<p>In my RTG in 97CV I'm Regional, charging hard towards Cult. I just lost Jeremy Stone, which is a massive blow due to my heavily perf over pop product. Luckily, I've been able to utilize his skillset over the past 12 months, so I have a lot more guys capable of putting on really good matches, but not quite solid enough to consistently put on B's like Jeremy Stone. That definitely hurts. Dan, and Duane are close, but Jeremy is the GOAT. PGHW have also signed one of my younger guys that I was about to start pushing. He's only 25 but has high 80's/90's stats. That's a bummer.</p><p> </p><p>

Anyways, 5SSW went out of business, and P-Girls basically have all their top gals, and I'm debating whether or not to buy them out for a paltry 90k (about what I made last month, so not a huge financial burden) so I can have the sensational 3 and a couple of other GREAT women workers. Only problem is, I won't be able to resign them when their contracts are up because they're based in Japan, and I'm clearly not an international company.</p><p> </p><p>

Another thing I could do, since they're not a very popular company and I have no need for Japanese pop, is to make them a dev company, but then I don't think I'd have access to the women that they sign. I really want to use the great Japanese talent, though. AGH! Decisions, decisions. They have another 3 months, so I have time to decide I suppose.</p>

As soon as they wrestle a match that your promotion is based in they automatically can work there.

Ogiwara, Hike, Kit, Ichihara and a few others instantly went straight for other game areas, I followed them and took them when I made TCW.

Ogiwara actually had the worst luck. She joined CZCW and that was bought out a week later. Then she joined NOTBPW and wrestled one match before it was bought out by SWF. Both times she was released. Either way if you make them a developmental you can grab them that way too... you own the company they work for, the point of developmental is to get called up when they are "good enough" and they already are.

Edit:

So, SWF has once again just outright let a star go. First Enygma which was really strange, now Jim Force. They're actively trying to sabotage themselves at this point. I'm starting to wonder if it's just how Richard Eisen is? Because in EVERY C-Verse game, even CV97 now, SWF has the weakest roster and become the weakest. I very obviously am picking up Jim Force.

Not much for my main promotion as we're just going through the "B PPVs" where I don't have any real shake ups planned but...my developmental promotion had it's first call up. Nicky Champion. First ever Evolve Champ who dropped it to a heel Rocky Golden which is pretty great as I can tie that into future storylines! I am making it a point to not bloat my main roster so I'm very picky on who I call up, if I don't see them as a reliable midcard or higher I don't want to bother. I might keep them down in developmental but they aren't going beyond that. I want "Evolving" to be a big deal, as I've been calling it.

Either way, the news I want to bring is I've signed a lot of lightweight/cruiserweights for my eventual cruiserweight division.

Black Eagle - Veteran who can still improve is always a good sign. Hes a very "all around" talent who can be a good asset.

Edd Stone - Youngster, 18 years old, rookie year. Why not, right?

Frankie Huggins - Hoping he makes it big, am a fan. Either way he can be a good heel.

Jesse & Joe Gilbert - Weren't really meant to be for the cruiserweight division as it's way too early to be thinking of a CW tag division but I figured they needed work, they might never make it to the main roster but I love being pleasantly surprised.

Romeo Romaro - Another rookie. If he develops well I could use him and Frankie in a tag team. If not... hes either stuck in EVOLVE or hes released.

The other Cruisers that I've signed are:

Brendan Idol - I used him exclusively as a one night deal jobber and has lost to Marat Khoklov and Khoklov is like 97 in the US right now so Idol gets enough credit to where I tossed him in EVOLVE, he might flop. But oh well.

Elmo Benson - I like Elmo, always had a soft spot for him. That's it really.

Hell Monkey - 90 SQ, hes hopefully poised to be one of the faces of my CW Division in the coming years. Hope it works out because I missed using Hell Monkey.

Joey Poison - Figured why not, yknow?

Lord Geoffrey Windamere - Paul Huntingdon is a favorite of mine so am excited, hope he does good.

Mario Heroic - Hes considered a "great" worker and wanted to develop. He has 88 basics/psychology, and 60s in his top row stats. Another cornerstone of my division.

Remmy Skye - Figured worst case I can make Poison and Skye a team.

Ricky DeColt - Hes a DeColt! Plus I've always failed in building Ricky up, would like to try this round.

Sammy Bach - The Elation Sensation. Hes a TCW faithful too in CV2016, so I figured **** it.

Trent Shaffer - I honestly forgot why I picked him up

All of these guys were/are unemployed, actually my entire roster is compromised of originally unemployed people. The only person I took on their debut is Marat Khoklov too so that should say a bit.

1999 has finally come to a close. A lot of good happened. A ton of growth, a TV deal covering 3 regions with the downfall being it's free to air. We're making 100k+ a month. However, BHOTWG is killing my roster. In just the past 6 months I've lost Jeremy Stone, Duane Stone, Pablo Rodriguez, Richard Coleman, Rick Sanders and Big Cat Brandon. I can do without Brandon, Coleman and to a lesser extent, Sanders. But losing the Stones and Rodriguez is severely impacting my grades. All 3 were main eventers I could rely on to pull a 70 grade. Now instead of all my shows being high 60's to low 70's, I range from low 50's to low 70's. Now I'm deciding if the rush to cult should continue so I can sign my last couple great workers to writtens, or if I should say screw it and just build up a war chest of money to survive long-term at cult.

On the really positive side, buying out P-Girls was a great move. Crusher Ichihara and Sensational Ogiwara are great. Thunder Hike just came back from injury and looks really good, too. Kit Hiyatoma will be back from maternity in 4 months, and I'll have 4 of the best women in the world. Knowing my luck, Burning Hammer will open a women's division and I'll lose them as well.

<p>Over three years in my Montreal Aftermath game and storming into Wrestlemania (well, under two months to go anyway!). I split into brands just after Wrestlemania 2000 as there were just too many guys on the roster and I greedily wanted to use all of them. </p><p> </p><p>

So on RAW the main feud right now, I still have No Way Out to book for Raw though, is The Undertaker turning heel on Austin after Taker blamed Austin for not being able to take the title from Steve, costing Steve his own shot at the belt at The Royal Rumble; Jericho is having a short feud with the newly acquired DDP that will finish up at No Way Out but will end with DDP losing yet still having some momentum so I can return to the feud in the future as Jericho will probably take the belt off of Triple H, who has had it for exactly a year, winning it at Wrestlemania 2000. The only other majorly important story is Foley's retirement story where he'll face the Intercontinental Champion Morgan Steele (Val Venis, although in my save he just debuted as Morgan Steele) in a Career vs Title Match that will end with Steele ending Foley's career and then probably going on to work a major feud with Steve Austin as Taker will defeat Austin and then move into a feud with Jericho so I can stall for Lesnar's debut and eventual coronation to champion by Summerslam 2001.</p><p> </p><p>

Smackdown is a little more complicated as I was able to get Bret Hart and with having Owen still around, I reformed the Broken Hart Foundation with Test, Lance Storm, Ken Shamrock, Owen Hart, and Bret Hart. Owen took the World title from The Rock at Survivor Series after debuting on Smackdown after losing to Austin at Fully Loaded in a Loser Leaves Raw match. Owen retained the belt after Bret debuted to help him defeat The Rock and the next night, Owen reluctantly handed the belt to Bret (possibly sowing the seeds for a future feud between the two brothers). Over the next few months, The Broken Hart Foundation has run roughshod over the entirety of Smackdown by taking out Big Show, Kane, Eddie Guerrero, and Rey Mysterio and by taking out Rey for a while, they have set up a six man tag team match between Big Show, Kane, Eddie, Test, Storm, and Shamrock. Owen would be involved but he began a feud with Chris Benoit over the European title a little after the Royal Rumble after Benoit won it from Hardcore Holly at Armageddon and successfully defended it against Albert at the Royal Rumble. I think I'm going to go with a story where all of the Broken Hart Foundation wins, at least Bret is definitely winning to break the cycle with the good guy standing high atop the mountain as well as putting over the fact that Bret is a major player by defeating my figurehead in The Rock, except for Owen who will lose to Benoit cleanly. Then, the next night, Bret will kick his own brother out for losing and will reveal Benoit as his replacement and that will possibly shelf Owen for a couple of months - only for Owen to return just in time for Summerslam where he could run through most of the Broken Hart Foundation and then defeat Bret at Summerslam itself. From there, I'll probably retire Bret as he is on time decline and isn't getting younger. And from there, I'll probably have Owen drop the title to either The Rock, Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, or some sort of potential star and then phase Owen out as well and just keep the Hart Brothers around as road agents, commentators, or possible competitors if the occasion calls for it.</p><p> </p><p>

Even though I have been playing this save for so long, it is steal easily the most enjoyable save I have done in TEW to date!</p>

<p>Starting a CZW game with the intention of modernizing and building on what direction they seem to have been going. While mostly hardcore wrestling now, I plan to slowly push towards a more streamlined way of running with focus on pure wrestling and bringing it into the future.</p><p> </p><p>

Using Paul Heyman as my user character I have brought in four wrestlers to have a new Dangerous Alliance, Heyman being the manager of all four men. Pete Dunne, Raymond Rowe, Hanson, and Penta El 0M. Going to have them come in as a vicious foursome with Dunne, Hanson and Rowe focusing on capturing gold and Penta just breaking bones. I again plan on them kind of having their way with the roster to start out with and eventually a group of faces, who I haven't decided yet, will come together to stand up against them. I do have a pretty solid idea though of there eventually down the line having another wrestler added that will kind of be a surprise.</p>

Help!

CV97, I've been booking a Sports Entertainment-esque TCW for about 3 years now. I'm outright struggling to build people, in perf > pop people just got over by being good. I need to build people up, this is my first time trying to do pop > perf and really am struggling. My main event scene is healthy, and so is my midcard scene. I guess in one way I do enjoy how nobody really gets "too over" when I don't want them to, but it's just really weird to see nobody get more popular by just wrestling. I guess what I don't need help, like I know I need to use people, base them off overness etc. And in this way it's more realistic, but it's just a lot more management.

I'm not sure.

As for my game... everything is good, Bruce is gaining SQ still, in the 90s, alongside his popularity. I was worried. Haruki Kudo is getting ready to take the title (short reigns for now as I'm trying to make things interested) from Bruce, largely because Kudo has pulled in some of the better grades and is 41 with no time decline yet, so I'm pulling the trigger.

From what I've seen it's a lot harder to gain pop in smaller companies. There seems to be a slight ceiling where a workers pop doesn't go over the companies pop. That all changes when you get PPV. Event are the main focus. Have guys win events and appear in strong angles. When I first brough the big 3 over from 5SSW I booked them in angles with my user where I was rated on entertainment and they were not rated at all. Their pop was in the low 30s in my home region a few months after that.

Doing a RTG lite game in the 97 Cverse.

My company (TCW) is set up in the South East. My character is a Muta-esque worker named the Great Iitaka. I'm in debt big time already after two months/two shows so I'm going to try and cut back a bit.

Vengeance is World Champion and Big Cat Brandon and The Wolverine are my tag champs.

Luckily my boss(Gil Thomas) is working for free until we're more financially stable.

<p>Playing NOTBPW in the default database.</p><p> </p><p>

Ernest Youngman had a try-out match in the pre-show of a Championship Wrestling episode and tore his meniscus, putting him out for a year. Disappointing for him, but also for me because I wanted him badly and would have hired him on the spot after his really good performance in that match.</p><p>

Fast forward one year later, I sign him just over a month before he has recovered in the hopes that he can eventually replace Shooter Sean Deeley, who decided to leave for USPW where he's now jobbing to untalented giants. </p><p>

Looking at my medical screen, I see Youngman can be treated surgically with a very low risk. I decide to do the surgery, what could go wrong , right?</p><p>

Well, the surgeon messed up and now he's out for another 13 months. Hopefully this doesn't mean the end of his in-ring career.</p><p>

He's available for angles, so I wonder if I should give him some kind of out-of-ring role in the meantime, but haven't thought that through yet. </p><p> </p><p>

I'm legitimately pissed, I love this game!</p>

So I signed Robert Oxford to a PPA deal to see if he was in time decline (41 years old,) and not only was he not in time decline, he also took Scout under his wing as a protege. Then just now, he took Guide under his wing. I love this guy! The New Wave is gonna be even better workers in a years time.

Just started a TNA save using fleishs may 2017 rwc mod. The D.C.C (bram and kingston) were booked on my first show to win the tag titles and be the focal point of the division. Both were sent home on my first two episodes of impact for being high. I reconsidered my plans for them and the d.c.c was rebranded to be Bramstone Pickle a Midgard comedy team who's gimmick is that bram smashes a jar of branston pickle over the heads of their opponents to help them win. Was just meant to be something to amuse myself while I could sign replacements but their pop is growing and no further incidents of being sent home, maybe they'll get that title run after all
