This was just something to keep both busy for a month. Next for Arsenal is Mighty Mo and Nate Johnson in a triple threat.</p><p> </p><p> Benny Benson defeated Troy Tornado to get revenge for Tornado driving Sammy Bach out of TCW. Benson needed some momentum after winning a #1 Contender Battle Royal only to lose the spot to Wolf Hawkins. From here, Benson probably goes on to face Peak, while Tornado...I'm not sure.</p><p> </p><p> (Flying Jimmy) Foxx & (Matt) Hocking & Devine Fortune defeated The Elite (Nate Johnson, Eddie Chandler, Bryan Holmes & Davis Wayne Newton). Foxx & Hocking have great chemistry, so they get to be my bottom tier team. Holmes & Newton are going to be the new Elite team after Eddie Chandler leaves in a couple weeks when his contract expires, so this month was just to introduce the new duo to TCW.</p><p> </p><p> Aaron Andrews knocked off Danny Fonzarelli to regain some momentum after dropping the World Title to Rocky last month. In anger after losing his rematch, Andrews attacked Fonzie backstage, and Danny didn't get his revenge here. I might just keep this going 2 more months and settle it at Total Mayhem, because I don't have a lot for Fonzarelli's character and Andrews isn't going back near the title for a bit.</p><p> </p><p> Mighty Mo defeated Jay Chord to end their feud and become #1 contender to the International Title. Jay is going to go after a weakened RDJ for Total Mayhem, so I'll have to have him build momentum this month for sure.</p><p> </p><p> The Behemoths defeated The New Wave through interference from American Buffalo to retain the TCW Tag Titles. Buffalo and The Behemoths are both working for Floyd Goldworthy right now. The New Wave is gonna find a partner, and face the trio in a 6 man tag next month, then a cage match at Total Mayhem for the tag titles.</p><p> </p><p> Joshua Taylor & Giant Tana beat Joel Bryant & Brent Hill. Taylor was challenged to find a partner by Bryant & Hill after knocking off each one of them in singles competition and brought out the little-used Giant Tana for another victory. From here, there's plenty of unattached heels for Taylor to feud with. I just don't have a grasp on his character, or a real-life analog for what he is.</p><p> </p><p> "The Baddest Man In Wrestling" Bryan Vessey knocked off Ricky Dale Johnson after getting himself DQ'd last month. I'm not sure what's going to keep Vessey busy for the next 2 months, but after Total Mayhem, he's going for Golden. RDJ is moving down to help elevate Jay Chord. I was going to try to keep Chord away from the main event for a while, but losing Sammy Bach's Star Quality means I might need to try to get Jay over sooner.</p><p> </p><p> Rocky Golden defeated Wolf Hawkins clean to retain the World Title. I don't have the entire plan, but I want this match to happen at Total Mayhem, because both of these guys pull off great ratings.</p>

<p>As evidenced by my complete abandonment of my 1987 dynasty, I burned out on my previous 1987 game as I didn't like how it was going. Long story short, bloated roster with too many signings that I felt guilty about as I took more than my share of southern rasslin' headliners. So I decided that my next save wouldn't be a dynasty, and I would try to keep it as WWF-like as possible while also going on my own path (such as trying to get a women's division going).</p><p> </p><p>

Then an idea popped up in my head to keep from pidgeon-holing myself into having too similar of a path that mirrored real life, while also keeping on a WWF-style path. Instead of Ted DiBiase buying Andre and the belt, only for it to be vacated because of legal mumbo jumbo (I still plan on a DiBiase title run at some point), I decided that I would have Andre come back in the summer of '87 and be on track for a rematch with Hogan. Then I really got creative and decided I would have Andre become completely unhinged and attack Hogan to the point that even the rest of the Heenan Family and Bobby Heenan himself try to stop Andre, but to no avail. </p><p> </p><p>

Enter my current situation: I've decided I'm going to run an angle where President Jack Tunney "suspends Andre indefinitely!" At least until Ted DiBiase can spread his money around and pay Andre's legal fees to get him reinstated much like he did for Kamala, who is now managed by Skandor Akbar. </p><p> </p><p>

Hulk Hogan will be announced as being so seriously injured, he will not be able to meet the 30 day requirement of defending the WWF Title, so the title must be vacated, and a tournament will be held leading up to SummerSlam, with the final match (maybe even the semi-final matches) being held at the event.</p><p> </p><p>

I don't have a lot of heel options right now as Harley Race is in decline (though still capable of putting on very good matches); Hercules hasn't developed enough psychology, though he can be carried to a good match with the right opponent, and I've had Bundy lose to Hogan already, though I did run an angle where Heenan sold his contract to Skandor Akbar, with the Heenan Family and Devastation Inc. having an understood but unofficial alliance (hence why Ted will eventually pay Andre's legal fees). </p><p> </p><p>

I already have Honky Tonk Man penciled in to win the IC Title from Ricky Steamboat at WrestleFest (the July PPV). Ted DiBiase has already worked his way up to Upper Midcarder, but can he work his way up to main eventer by SummerSlam? I think he potentially could with a victory at WrestleFest.</p><p> </p><p>

I do have some face options in Roddy Piper, who is over to the point that he doesn't want to turn heel because he's enjoying the merch sales from being a top babyface. Ricky Steamboat could be an option, and I could have him rematch against HTM down the road in a champion vs champion bout where HTM says "I beat you before, and I will beat you again!" Randy Savage is currently a heel, but I am in the process of turning him face, and he's up there in overness as well. In fact, he's my #3 franchise player, with Roddy Piper being #2, and Steamboat #4. Jake Roberts is suspended for the time being, though I would have only had him be fodder in the tournament anyway as I think he'd be more effective as a heel champion, and I don't want him going back to the dark side just yet.</p><p> </p><p>

So what are some of your thoughts, folks? Who do you think I should go with come SummerSlam?</p>

<p>Now this might take up a good bit of space, but I don't feel it warrant's a Dynasty. I'll break down my current feuds at the end of the piece but first up I'll just run down the Wrestlemania cards of previous years.</p><p> </p><p>

Basically I've ran this save since the game came out just after Mania 32, using Fleisch's last mod of TEW13 which I converted, I've put all the PPV's up on Youtube, so I'll do the cheap plug and add the link to the playlist if you wanna check out more on what you read.</p><p> </p><p>

The Quality gets better as you go on as you can imagine -

<strong>Current Main Feuds - September 2020</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Raw</span></strong></p><p><strong>

WWE Championship/Universal Championship</strong></p><p><strong>

Fergal Devitt © vs John Cena.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Now this one starts after Devitt returned in January after being toxic, he wanted rid of the Finn Balor name due to this. Cena won the record 17th World title, but was attacked that day and did not return till July. With no Champion in place, a Universal Championship was created which Devitt won. Devitt confessed it was him who attacked Cena alongside Brodus his bodyguard and this led to title vs title at Summerslam which Devitt won, Cena gets his rematch for both titles at Night of Champions.</p><p> </p><p>

Other feuds</p><p>

Jason Jordan vs Rusev</p><p>

Randy Orton vs Miz</p><p>

Samoa Joe vs Kota Ibushi</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>Smackdown</strong></span></p><p><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

</span></p><p>

<strong>WWE World Heavyweight Championship </strong></p><p><strong>

Roman Reigns © vs Dean Ambrose</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The long journey back to the title final ended at Summerslam when Roman toppled Ambrose. Roman was due to face Ambrose at Mania, but a legit injury caused by Drew McIntyre caused them to battle at Mania. Ambrose cost Roman the IC title to King Neville but Roman got the big one at Summerslam. Dean Ambrose uses his mandatory rematch clause here.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>WWE Tag Team Titles</strong></p><p><strong>

Kevin Owens/Sami Zayn vs The Uso's vs Bad Influence.</strong></p><p>

This is manly about the Champs KO and Sami. Sami upset one of the Uso's in a match and both beat him down with newly drafted KO making the save, which frequent 90+ rated matches all year its taken the tag division to new heights including Bad Influence and of course the Masters of Wrestling.</p><p> </p><p>

Other fueds</p><p>

Velveteen Dream vs King Neville</p><p> </p><p>

Also on the Women's Revolution show.</p><p>

Paige, Becky Lynch, Dana Brooke, Nikki Cross and Rhea Ripley all stake a claim to be the Champion whilst Shayna Bazler and Ronda Rousey attacked Charlotte until the save from her cousin Allie Flair.</p><p> </p><p>

That's a jist of it, 4 years of booking is on YT at the above playlist, but I'll try post more regular updates in here, just easier to speak than type to describe. Hope you enjoyed the read, do love reading how you guys are getting on!</p>

<p>PSW Update Dec2017</p><p> </p><p>

John Greed has formed a new alliance as he called out Acid last night only to have him attacked by none other than Mutant and his own protege Acid II! (currently needing a name, although now it goes by Hellhouse)</p><p> </p><p>

We had an international 3-Way Dance to open the tv show, all three men debuting, Jagged (of SOTBPW fame) is on loan from EMLL having never been available in USA, as he faced off with Greek Zeus Maxmilion and "Full-Blooded Italian" Antonio Del Vechio!</p><p> </p><p>

Eddie Peak and Madman Boone have declared war again The Cartel, Mexico's Finest and Benito Bravo (EZ), to which Cali Slick took offence as well, calling out the two legends to bring him in to the fold.</p><p> </p><p>

Dojo graduate Philip Sentier has been repackaged as Disasta and joined the Dead Men Walking for 6-Man action against the new tag champs Mach 2 and the also debuting Donte Dunn.</p><p> </p><p>

The never-ending story that is Andrew Harper vs Sojuro Sen rages on with a PSW first Barbed Wire Cage match being announced for Christmas Carnage!</p><p> </p><p>

In the main event, Edd Stone called out the World champion for his action against Acid and the two had an amazing matchup to close the show, with the champ putting his belt on the line and defending it once again.</p>

No crazy update that might not make any sense. I just wasn't feeling New Japan anymore. Going a little too wild with it. Goro Akechi? I lost the plot. Not challenging myself and not much fun.

Making it sound like I'm about to take the lowest ranked company to the top. haha Nah, I'll never be that good/patient.

Started up with present-day WWE. Gulp. The first thing you notice is how huge the roster is compared to older mods. The women obviously add a lot. That moment when the only penalty I have to worry about is how much the match will suck when I booked interference for Mandy Rose vs Dana Brooke. Feels good to be able to interfere again.

The second thing you notice is how underpowered they feel in comparison to other games. It's cool, I think that is why I have never really bothered with present-day stuff. Because of how they are all presented on TV. They can't possibly rate as high as some of the legends from the past. I don't believe that is nostalgia bias talking.

It is up to me to make WWE must-see TV again.

We will steal the treasure!

kEqp870.jpg

User character is the Rock. I'm trying as hard as possible to make it seem like 2 different worlds. Raw and Smackdown. Having Rock being a total boss of WWE wouldn't work, since I want to keep Triple, Kurt and Steph around. Interfering in the Ronda Rousey angle does nothing for me. All about having Kurt and Ronda win with simultaneous ankle lock and armbar.

There is always the chance I could go too far. Bring Holly Holm in.

The Rock can work along with Bryan and Shane. I most certainly have plans to bring Bryan back to the ring. Dr Maroon, your services are no longer required.

Even crazier, I want Cody Rhodes badly. :D Wow. I looked at the hidden gems and there he was, right at the top. Amazing what some time outside WWE can do. I've never been much of a fan. Can't say I've been following closely or anything, I have seen some of the segments. I thought the DX parody thing was hilarious.

Totally different world now. I can't go out and poach all these huge superstars.

I've started the game in February. My own vision of how Elimination Chamber should have gone. Are we going to get the dream Wrestlemania main event of all time, Lesnar vs Reigns 2? Or will Braun have something to say? Joe? I don't know yet.

Have a big problem because The Undertaker is out and I've done too much stuff already. Don't want to start the game again. He is available for angles so I guess we could do an angle with Cena and the Undertaker at Wrestlemania. Setting up a retirement match for next year. Would have liked to do it this year but I'll deal with it.

What now for Cena? Cena vs Rock are tied at 1-1 at the biggest show of them all. The thought has crossed my mind. I don't think I'm going there. No.

Trying to think of ways to salvage Matt Hardy. The game starts and his gimmick rating is poor. haha, I had to laugh, because it is. Yeah, I know all about the original broken. This clearly isn't it, has the sickening WWE taint all over it. It sucks.

I'm not fond of Bray Wyatt either. Bored of him for a long time. I might still have the guts to do this feud. Give me the ultimate test.

Some word leaked out from an unnamed source. The tale of a roadie that walks with Elias to intercontinental glory at Wrestlemania.

No more 205 live. They are not considered aliens in my world. Ricochet is coming up and winning the vacant title at Elimination Chamber. The slow build isn't for everybody. I still see the value in a hot debut.

Stick a fork in The Main Event. Raw and Smackdown are the only shows I'm doing.

I'm not the best at working with storylines. Working with NJPW makes it easier since you can just remember the storyline in your head. Let's hope I can bring the heat.

I've named one of my storylines Vintage Ziggler. That's all I can say for now.

Orton is turning heel. Yes, that old chestnut. That thing you always do any time you start a game and he is a good guy.

Time to bring it back. Orton to go on a punt spree.

I will have to turn Shinsuke Nakamura heel as well.

Rusev's face rating absolutely sucks. Anyway, I'm going Hollywood for this one. One of those, he was called up to defend his country angles. He is left for dead on the battlefield. Somebody finds him. Viewer discretion is advised. You would think Rusev would come out a hero. Not this time. Not with the help of some imported black market machinery that will be installed. We're not going all terminator here. I'll do the old install the chip in their tongue to give him special powers scenario. :p

No more Rusev day. People chanting it makes him think of his past and this makes him even crazier. An unbeaten streak up to Wrestlemania will see him challenge Bobby Roode.

Need to get another team hot on Raw. I like The Bar, but the rest of them are a joke. Booking my first Raw when I get time later so will see what I can do then. Going to give The Revival a few wins and see what happens.

I'm pretty sure about these matches for Wrestlemania.

AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura

Charlotte vs Asuka

Bobby Roode vs Rusev

Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle vs Triple H and Stephanie

Elimination chamber will be

Braun Strowman vs Samoa Joe vs Roman Reigns vs Seth Rollins vs John Cena vs Elias

(Raw women's title) Alexa Bliss vs Mandy Rose vs Sasha Banks vs Bayley vs Mickie James vs Sonya Deville

The Miz (IC title) vs Finn Balor

Apollo Crews and Titus vs Gallows and Anderson vs The Revival

Nia Jax vs Asuka

The Bar vs Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel

(Their tag team titles will not be on the line for some reason. No, it is not because they are going to lose. Plan to hook The Bar up with a manager. Not sure on who that is yet. That manager will criticise how the tag team division is being run and how defending the titles in matches like this diminish the value of the title. They are not toys. He will then start mentioning win loss records. It will not be pretty.)

Ricochet vs Hideo Itami (vacant cw title)

Kalisto vs Jack Gallagher

Jason Jordan vs Tony Nese (somebody is getting squashed)

<p>2001-2010, WCW Lives.</p><p> </p><p>

America:</p><p>

WWE hit Global. I hit International. WCW is teetering on cult and national.</p><p> </p><p>

Japan:</p><p>

NOAH was bought out by NJPW, I bought out NJPW. AJPW is thriving at National. Dragon Gate and DDT are doing extremely well at regional. Osaka Pro and GAEA still exist.</p><p> </p><p>

Europe:</p><p>

WXW almost went under, I took them as a development and let them grow, when they stabilized I ended that relationship. Don't care for the rest of the EU scene.</p><p> </p><p>

British Isles:</p><p>

1PW (1 Pro Wrestling) usually signs my lower card guys to touring contracts as I don't have all of them on written deals, has immensely helped them. I want the wrestling scene to thrive so I only really lock down guys when WWE/WCW come after them and I want to keep them. Rest of the scene is doing well.</p><p> </p><p>

Mexico:</p><p>

CMLL is National, and AAA went under. IWRG are regional and doing well, and Toryumon Mex continues to be a developmental and even a top 10 promotion, with Xtreme Latin American Wrestling at 13th.</p><p> </p><p>

Canada:</p><p>

Stampede Wrestling just exists, 17th regional. Kind of just there.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

WCW attempts to steal all my midcard and lower guys, and they have taken some, like Goldust for example. </p><p> </p><p>

WWE and I trade talent at least a few times a year honestly. They took Cody Rhodes and Mr. Gannosuke (I don't know why, he is 41 and hasn't hit decline but should soon since they offered him 5 years, it seems bad) so far. I took the Big Show mid 2009. Just lost a bidding war for Christian, who is WWE's World Heavyweight champion.</p><p> </p><p>

Sadly Booker T has died at 41.</p>

Approaching the end of 1998 and WCW have fallen to cult level after Elizabeth was rushed to hospital after a drugs overdose. I was winning the battle but this has made things a lot more favourable for me (WWF). Hopefully they can bounce back and challenge me again.

<p>WWF 1987:</p><p> </p><p>

Had the Hart Foundation drop the belts to the Killer Bees on Saturday Night's Main Event because dangit, I was a Killer Bees mark when I was a little kiddo! Well wouldn't you know it? Not even three weeks later, B. Brian Blair gets popped for steroids. So I fined him rather than suspended him so that I could get the belts off of the Bees and right back onto the Harts. Blair wouldn't learn his lesson and would get popped for steroids again after I had the Bees put over the Twin Towers (Boss Man and One Man Gang), so this time I chose to cut my losses and fire Blair. </p><p> </p><p>

Moolah dropped the Women's Title to Velvet McIntyre, though I had to protect her to keep from getting royally ticked. I actually gave Velvet a decent run with the belt, but I eventually had her drop the title to Sensational Sherri. </p><p> </p><p>

Honky Tonk Man is having a banner year. I had him worm his way into winning King Of The Ring, where he only had to wrestle twice thanks to Hercules and Paul Orndorff going to a double disqualification, but Junkyard Dog had to wrestle four times. Yes, I decided to run the Razor/Savio/Mabel storyline from the 1995 KOTR for this show. I ran a storyline where Kamala decimated Jim Duggan to the point that the doctors said Duggan could not return to compete in time for King Of The Ring, so President Jack Tunney had a qualifying match on the pre-show (and shown on Coliseum Home Video) between JYD and Nikolai Volkoff, which of course JYD won. JYD would come oh so close to winning, but "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase would stick his nose where it didn't belong, allowing Honky Tonk to win the crown. And both Tito Santana and JYD (Tito was cheated by HTM earlier in the night) destroyed the kingly set. I would later run an angle where HTM would say that King Harley Race is the true king of the WWF, but Harley would say if there's anybody he would want to win King Of The Ring, it would be Honky Tonk. Ironic if you know anything of the backstage history between those two!</p><p> </p><p>

After KOTR, Honky Tonk Man would challenge Ricky Steamboat for the Intercontinental Title, and like the cheating dog he is, he would get the title with his hands on the ropes! What a miscarriage of justice!</p><p> </p><p>

Shawn Michaels and Davey Boy Smith both are NBTs, so I'm happy as a lamb there.</p>

Started a new game, Easy Difficulty (60 pop across US, 1 mil in the bank). Rolled the dice, signed Marc DuBois to a 6 month deal. My first show, he was fine and also my most over & best performer, so on my second show and 1st ppv, I put the belt on him. Well this time he decides to wrestle high ( though somehow only for his 2nd match), so of course I sent him to rehab and vacated the title. I expected to have to do it, but still disappointing.

<p>Small update this time. Wow. Ran 4 shows and lost popularity for each of them. Matches way down in the 40s. Cena is doing his best to try and save this company. The mod feels like Shao Khan but I'm going to keep going. </p><p> </p><p>

Cena's Wrestlemania opponent will be Chris Jericho. Yep. I did the old lights go off angle and when they come back on Cena is out. He recently called out The Undertaker so he thinks Taker is behind it. Kane has told Cena that his brother could not have done this because he was out collecting souls or something. </p><p> </p><p>

Jericho will be revealed shortly. Going to make him all sinister. </p><p> </p><p>

Wrestling at Wrestle Kingdom and Wrestlemania on the same year. Not bad.</p>

<p>So much going on in my game. Another restart after Elimination Chamber. My tenth of this thread maybe. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Now using a friendly mod and started where I left off. Still getting the expected 45 for Jason Jordan vs Curt Hawkins but it all feels reasonable enough now. Wrestlemania managed 80. </p><p> </p><p>

Wrestlemania highlights</p><p> </p><p>

Brock Lesnar defeated Roman Reigns </p><p> </p><p>

Ronda made Stephanie tap in the mixed tag team match. </p><p> </p><p>

Owens and Zayn are the undisputed tag team champions. </p><p> </p><p>

Rollins defeated Elias in a nothing match </p><p>

(so much for those walking the intercontinental road rumours.)</p><p> </p><p>

Plans change, you know...</p><p>

<span>http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/xpaulocaustx/DaveMeltzer.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Bray Wyatt won the Andre battle royal. No idea why I went with Bray. I'm trying to reinvent him. Not a total change of character, you would need to change his look and stuff for that. The easiest way to say it would be changing the words he says in his promos. Yeah. Will Ospreay made his debut here and was the runner-up. The anti-Hideo Itami. Ospreay is on Smackdown and is a Rock guy.</p><p> </p><p>

AJ Styles defeated Shinsuke Nakamura to retain WWE title. </p><p>

(Totally forgot to check Nakamura's popularity. Only at midcard when the game started so that hurt the match. )</p><p> </p><p>

Sneak peak. I believe AJ Styles will still be champ heading into Summerslam. </p><p> </p><p>

Ricochet defeated Neville to win the cruiserweight title</p><p> </p><p>

Braun Strowman defeated Samoa Joe to win the vacant IC title (The match was a dud. Negative chemistry) </p><p> </p><p>

Chris Jericho defeated John Cena</p><p> </p><p>

Asuka defeated Charlotte to win the smackdown ladies championship. </p><p> </p><p>

So now it gets interesting. The draft was held on the Raw after Wrestlemania. </p><p> </p><p>

Rusev defeated Balor on the Wrestlemania pre-show to earn the first draft pick for his squad. This also earned Rusev a championship match against Styles at Backlash. Now that we have dual brand events, one title will be defended one month, the other the following month etc. To give time to build up the biggest matches. </p><p> </p><p>

The Rock selected... Wild guess anybody? Yep, you got it. The Big Dawg is drafted first. </p><p> </p><p>

Now it is Kurt Angle's turn. He drafts.... Daniel Bryan!! Yes, I've put him back in the ring. Not only that, Stephanie heard Paul Heyman make a joke about her tapping out so she gets into the vindictive mood. The Raw main event is Brock Lesnar vs Daniel Bryan for the universal championship. Wow. Kurt just nodded his head. Bryan (with an assist from Triple H) wins the universal championship in his first match back. Anything can happen in the World Wrestling Entertainment. </p><p> </p><p>

Daniel Bryan is going to be my leading man on Raw. Heel turn after taking help from Stephanie and Hunter. Bryan then talks about how he wouldn't be in the ring if it wasn't for Hunter. Something about having a doctors licence stripped if he didn't comply. But that is just a rumour. Bryan has the God complex gimmick just because. It rated at above average. </p><p> </p><p>

Rey Mysterio is in. I would normally want him to be the cruiserweight, but I think we can survive without him. Going to build towards a Bryan vs Rey match. Balor is going to be in that mix. </p><p> </p><p>

Rollins will be the top face on Raw. </p><p> </p><p>

John Cena is out for a couple of months. </p><p> </p><p>

Small things</p><p> </p><p>

One of the angles that seem to make its way to any tew game I play. Braun Strowman and Cesaro have a few tense hands of poker to get their rivalry going. Strowman eventually tosses the table and beats up the dealer. Cesaro wins a number one contender match to earn the IC title shot at Backlash. </p><p> </p><p>

I thought that Braun and Elias stuff on Raw was hilarious so I'm heading in that direction. Not right away. Going to have Elias out playing all his instruments in the coming weeks. Get a wee run going after the defeat against Seth Rollins. </p><p> </p><p>

The Rock said he was tempted to trade The New Day. Rock is presented as a full on Jedi in this game. He's only looking out for their best interests. No more cereal references. No food. </p><p> </p><p>

John Morrison is coming in. Smackdown is lacking faces after the draft. Always been a fan. Yeah, I know he does well for himself outside WWE. Time to reach greater heights? Only time will tell. </p><p> </p><p>

Randy Orton added the US title to his collection. Feud with Morrison will be in a couple of months. If all goes according to plan. </p><p> </p><p>

I had a look at one of those top 20 female lists and brought some in. Toni Storm could be up to the task of being a rival for Alexa. Io Shirah was brought in as well. haha So much for not being able to poach superstars in this one. She's out for two months.</p><p> </p><p>

Amber Nova was in for a pre-show match, I looked at next big thing list and she was on it so I signed her. Going to development for a while. </p><p> </p><p>

Stephanie is now looking for somebody to get Ronda for her. Sonya Deville will take the Ronda challenge at Backlash. Paige and Mandy Rose lurking. Will somebody there to help Ronda? Will she even need the help? </p><p> </p><p>

Asuka's protege, Konami, is in. What an awesome name. She is also on my next big thing list. </p><p> </p><p>

Gargano was drafted to Raw on the Raw after Mania. </p><p> </p><p>

Roderick Strong has been promoted. He is coming to Smackdown. Running the one-minute hype videos at the minute. Prince Nana has been brought in to be his manager. Thinking of starting a royal stable. Fancy a program with Ospreay.</p><p> </p><p>

Owens and Zayn can now move from brand to brand since I now only have one tag team championship. Still haven't come up with a name for them yet. Be looking to do a match at the Hardy compound somewhere down the line. </p><p> </p><p>

Put American Alpha back together. On Raw. Jason is still Kurt's son so these guys will not be forgotten about. I'm going to make my tag team division hot. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Big Sean Studd could do something. Signed him to development. His mic and charisma are not that bad. Psychology is low. Let's see how he does with some development. Feud with Braun is already calling out to me. Take your time. Debut at Royal Rumble match 2019 is a nice idea but I think that is too long to wait. We'll see. </p><p> </p><p>

Jericho was drafted to Smackdown. Keeping him for a year, coming off the big win against Cena. Jericho is on fire. He's hanging around with the Revival to help boost their stats and give them some credibility. Has his eyes on Nakamura. </p><p>

</p><p><em>

King of strong style? Is that right, Shinsuke? I can't help thinking something has been lost in translation because I saw a lot when I was over conquering your motherland. I saw what real strong style is. </em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

Do you want to know what else I saw? I saw a weak man give up at Wrestlemania. I saw a man that would feel more at home wrestling the English Bulldog on the latest Isle of Man spectacular. How did it come to this?</em></p><p><em>

</em></p><p>

<img alt="JiQSByu.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/JiQSByu.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

(Random nonsense. I went to a show at the Isle of Man in the early 90s. The show was headlined by The English Bulldog. He won with a powerslam <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> We had a Superfly there as well. That is pretty much all I can remember. Think the young mind thought I was going to an actual WWF show. Oops).</p><p> </p><p>

Getting excited about this game. Was thinking about it more than once as I sat in the office today. That's when I know I've got a good game.</p>

<p>Started a fresh, new and hopeful long-term save (Yeah, right...) with the 87' Mod from the Mod Squad.</p><p> </p><p>

Booking as JCP. Full steam ahead towards the Crockett Cup but had to take a screenshot of Flair's first month in the save.</p><p>

A busy first month for the Nature Boy. This is gonna be a fun save but I may have to turn off repetitive booking to give a more legitimate feel for the time-period and run my own 'house shows'. (Tour shows are 'House shows')</p><p> </p><p>

<p>Real World Mod Year 2001:</p><p> </p><p>

Used Gabe Sapolsky to start Ring of Honor a year early in May of 2001. We started off with The Era of Honor Begins. What has followed has been 11 month of steady growth and great show, averaging a 63 overall for shows. Nigel McGuinness is the reigning defending ROH Pure champion, No Remorse Corps (Austin Aries and Roderick Strong) are the ROH Tag Team Champions and CM Punk is the ROH Heavyweight Champion.</p><p> </p><p>

Highlights so far have been Nigel McGuinness and Bryan Danielson's trio of sixty minute matches. Two time limit draws and one win for McGuinness who made Danielson tap out at 59 minutes and 49 seconds to end the series. CM Punk has taken on all the top talent ROH has to offer including Low-Ki, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Devon Storm (Who was actually fired the day I planned on putting the belt on him for attacking James Mitchell during a verbal argument he started). No Remorse Corps just won the titles at ROH: All-Star Extravaganza 1 in February of 2002 defeating the dominant team of Jimmy Jacobs and Abyss, known as Cataclysm. Also of note in the 11 months and 9 shows we have run Samoa Joe is undefeated.</p><p> </p><p>

At our last show ROH: All-Star Extravaganza 1 the show started off with Fergal Devitt making his debut defeating Matt Sydal. The Italian Stallions (James Mariato (Nunzio) and Tony Mamaluke) defeated The Naturals (Chase Stevens and Andy Douglas). Chris Hero returned after breaking his elbow and being out for three months defeating Colt Cabana. No Remorse Corps retained their ROH Tag Team Titles against Cataclysm who were invoking their rematch clause. After the match Abyss snapped and after months of being called off by James Mitchell he brutally attacked Jimmy Jacobs hitting him with two Blackhole Slams and putting him through a table outside the ring. Mitchell praised Abyss and it is safe to assume Cataclysm has split up and Father James Mitchell has chosen his side. This was followed by Nigel McGuinness defeating Low-Ki to retain his ROH Pure title for the eighth time. This was actually a replacement match as Zero-One took Samoa Joe for the night, again someone who was supposed to take a title taken off a show for one reason or another the night they were supposed to become champion, it may be the curse of this save. This was followed by Super Dragon dominating Paul London, London hadn't wrestled in six months and Super Dragon needed a strong win, so London was fed to him for complaining. </p><p> </p><p>

Finally the Main Event saw CM Punk retain his ROH Heavyweight Championship against AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels in a triple threat elimination match. AJ eliminated Daniels early in the match and then Punk went back and forth with AJ Styles for another 40 minutes and Punk won the match with a Cobra Clutch.</p><p> </p><p>

While CM Punk was celebrating Bryan Danielson made his return to ROH, he had been on tour with some Japanese company, and he challenged Punk to a match at Final Battle for the ROH Heavyweight Championship which Punk immediately accepted.</p><p> </p><p>

So now we head towards our 10th show in 11 months at Final Battle and have a pretty solid card set up.</p><p> </p><p>

Final Battle 2002</p><p>

Main Event: CM Punk vs Bryan Danielson/ROH Heavyweight Championship/60 Minute Time Limit</p><p>

Co-Main Event: Nigel McGuinness vs Samoa Joe/ROH Pure Championship/60 Minute Time Limit</p><p>

Match 5: Abyss vs Jimmy Jacobs/Revenge Match/ Hardcore 30 Minute Time Limit Match</p><p>

Match 4: No Remorse Corps vs Kazarian vs Chris Sabin/ ROH Tag Team Championships/Tag Team Match</p><p>

Match 3: Super Dragon vs Fergal Devitt</p><p>

Match 2: Colt Cabana and Matt Sydal vs The Naturals</p><p>

Match 1: Low Ki vs Chris Hero</p>

<p>I'm excited about the new game I've started! It's using the Local2Global mod, which defaults the popularity of every wrestler to 20 in each region (and even brings them back to life!) . There are about 30 different promotions to chose from and they all have something unique (plus 10 million dollars to spend). All of their popularity stats are the same as well. </p><p> </p><p>

Anyways I chose Wrestle Grand Prix as my promotion, which is labelled as an American puroresu style in the South West. That style wasn't what I was looking for, so I changed them to the traditional puroresu preset (in my head I'm thinking king's road style). </p><p> </p><p>

I'm in June and a lot has happened already. I've ran two tournaments. The first was the Fire Pro Cup, which was the first show I ever ran. It was a one night 8 man tournament which had the following involved: Lionheart, CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, Texas Red (Mark Calaway), Kevin Steen, Kazuchika Okada, Chris Hero and Wild Pegasus (told you people were brought back to life). Wild Pegasus became the first Fire Pro Cup winner after an intense match with Lionheart. </p><p> </p><p>

Also on that card Samoa Joe went over Kurt Angle to win the Wrestle GP Heavyweight title. Bryan Danielson and Shinsuke Nakamura went to a time limit draw. </p><p> </p><p>

After this card I introduced a monthly show called Wrestle GP Spectacle which would build up to the bigger show. This show is numbered and usually has an emphasis on tag match. </p><p> </p><p>

Over time, I had Nakamura win our IC belt and Steen/Punk win our tag team belts (over Danielson and Okada/Naito respectively). Recently I ran my second tournament, this one being for super juniors called the Thunder Pro Cup. In a 2 night event (first night being dedicated to quarter finals and the second to the rest of the tournament/title matches), Bryan Danielson went over El Generico in a fantastic match. Steen/Punk dropped the belts to Okada and Naito as well. This is to allow Steen and Punk to go on their own runs before getting back together for future events...</p><p> </p><p>

I'm building toward my third tournament show which will display the tag teams. One thing I absolutely love about this mod is that it's like a clean slate, which means I can build teams how I want. My backstory for this mod is that wrestling has never been popular in this alternate reality, and it's remained a territory/independent scene up until current day. Which is why wrestlers who have passed in real life are still alive in this game. With that being said, I have put together about 10/12 teams for this tournament with a solid plan behind the final results. </p><p> </p><p>

This is the first TEW game I have followed through with and it's very fun, even if I'm playing on EWR throwback rules haha.</p>

I just started a new game as a local fed. I want to take it slowly this game to give the world a bit of time to develop. My last few games were as TCW or SWF and they got kind of stale. I'm still keeping an eye on what's going on in the big leagues. By August of the first year, TCW had fallen to cult (expected), but SOTBW has been signing everyone. They've gotten Nicky Champion, Remo, Valiant, and Rich Money so far and now there's a bidding war for Jack Bruce. If it goes on like this, I'm not sure how anyone will be able to compete with SOTBW.
