Small Questions Thread & "Living FAQ"

Recommended Posts

Simple question. More so looking for some pointers here.

So basically in my save I have reached International twice, but have fallen back to National within a week both times.

Any ideas why this could be?

I have been running shows continually in the area I need to gain Pop to ensure I stayed above the recommend Importance in that region, but that seems to drop after say 6 days in game.

I'm at war with TNA, but they are at a much lower level than me? So i doubt they are the issue.

Or is it a case I should set my limit level as National and wait until my importance is at a good enough level to sustain being at International level.

I've ruled out storylines/feuds being the problem as I have 3 over the 79 level.

Any ideas what It could be or even general advice is deeply appriciated, thanks!

Cap yourself for a little while. It's probable that you're right on the cusp of International and a better than average show puts you over the line, but then an average show later in the week drops you back a touch. It's fractions of a percentage but it's enough.

Much like being left off WrestleMania in reality, it's a bit of an insult to the workers if you have left them entirely off a show of that importance. You have to take special care to try and include everyone, even if it's just sticking them in a battle royal.

PPV TV Shows, Buyer fatigue

Couple of questions:

If i air my TV-Shows on PPV-Broadcasters, will Buyrates go down because of too much content?

Will my PPV-TV Shows contribute to the needed Coverage for my PPV-Shows?

Could i run multiple PPV-Events every Month without buyrates taking a hit?

So people can refuse turns now (or atleast protest extremely loudly over them)?

Well screw them... You don't wanna turn heel? Well then you have to help make new heel stars, meaning you'll lose to midcard heels the next 6 months...

Anyways, if going ahead with the turn anyways, does anyone know how much of a morale hit it they will take?

That's not true, I can turn just about anybody on the top of the card heel aside from the very top guy, which is more than understandable

And unless they have creative control you can just give them money to make them happier, which is a fair trade when you account for their reasoning in the first place being down to merch sales.

I turned both Angry Gilmore and Vengeance heel with no problem. I wonder if some of it has to do with their personality and how good they are at playing heel and face gimmicks.

I'm sure it'll be a mix of overness and personality.

It's just one of those things. I've got a massive storyline going which would be tremendous if I could eventually turn John Cena heel. But I know I probably can't. Plan B.

In reality you really can't go practice being more menacing. Just like you can't go practice having more sex appeal or more Star Quality.

The only thing you can do to change those on cam qualities is work out and change the way you look. Get more muscular etc. There's no magic facial expression that you can learn to make you more menacing.

There are body language aspects to being menacing as well as being sexy. It's a bit like acting. Take any well-known hottie and have her hunch over and clubfoot into the ring like quasi-modo and you'll lose a bunch of sex appeal. I don't think it needs to rise rapidly, or a lot, but surely learning mannerisms, postures, etc. plays a part. Nonetheless, it works like it works, so I'll just have to have my UC go up in size, and hope he can get muscular at some point <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

While I agree that one can practice to come across as menacing, that isnt the definition of menace that the game uses as the game is talking about just the static look and natural intimidating presence of the wrestler alone and not the way he acts.

I think the game covers what your explaining under the gimmick rating. A wrestler practicing his mannerisms, posture, etc. would be covered as the wrestler improving his gimmick.

A hot woman hunched over and walking clubfooted like you described, in my opinion, would not be in an angle rated as sex appeal but rather as acting, as she is clearly acting like she is something she isnt and can do so with varying degrees of quality. If your not trying to portray how sexy the worker is in the angle, it wouldnt make sense to tell the game to rate it on her sex appeal.

It's also entirely possible that he created the promotion himself in the mod. If you can provide some more details (what mod is it, where's the youtube video, etc.) I may be able to give you some more insight.
