Small Questions Thread & "Living FAQ"

<p>Hey there, I just got TEW2016 and I've been playing about with it for a bit.</p><p> </p><p>

2 things I'm kinda unsure of (both regarding halls of fame):</p><p> </p><p>

1. The Hall of the Immortals, what exactly are the requirements for this? I couldn't find it anywhere in the Player's Handbook</p><p> </p><p>

2. For company Hall of Fames, I'm pretty sure it says that one of the things that make a wrestler eligible is that they headline a show. Does this mean they have to be the last segment? I usually throw an angle in after my main event, like a celebration or whatever. Does this disqualify them from earning their HOF status?</p><p> </p><p>

Thanks <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

If they're a low card guy, have them beat midarders, then once they're there, have them start beating upper midcarders, etc.</p><p> </p><p> Use their strengths. If a guy has great menace, put him in menace angles. Great entertainment skills? Use that.</p>

<p>Oh, I also have 2 more questions!</p><p> </p><p>

1. What does mask prestige do?</p><p> </p><p>

2. For developmental companies, do I have to try and find the TV broadcaster for them? I can't seem to find a way to negotiate with any broadcasters for them, and the AI doesn't seem to be seeking any out</p>

<p>So I have a couple of questions about how developmental/child companies work.</p><p> </p><p>

If I send someone down to a developmental company to train others, will worker's skills still improve if the trainer is a retired worker? Also should I hire some people with decent skills to work in the developmental company or will worker's skills improve even they aren't wrestling matches with skilled workers?</p><p> </p><p>

Thanks in advance!</p>

In the C-Verse PGHW and NOTBPW are spamming 5-star matches. After Year 1 PGHW's Top 100 matches are ALL above 92 rating. I can't gauge whether this is realistic or if I'm just being a hater (cause I have such a tough time getting 95+ matches with TCW).

Can I do something to quell the quality of matches that these 2 promotions have consistently? Maybe add a competing Product like mainstream to even out their ratings?

Anyone know if I break a worker's pop cap in the in-game editor, and then put it back, will the worker become a NBT?

I just launched a new Rising Storms save and got Barry Hardy and Warlord as NBTs but not Shawn or Taker... not sure if I should just ditch the save...

What I've done is when I get close to being able to have a show is to hire an announce team so that by the time the show airs, they have some experience built up. Until then, you might as well save yourself the $1000 or more per show.</p>

Many games with TEW 2013 started for me by firing the current crew and hiring Samuel Curran and Mac Smith and just letting them work together (unfortunately, Curran is on a written deal in TEW 2016).</p>

If I move Smackdown to a lesser time slot, I will have a lower expectation for overall rating from my broadcaster, but will I lose popularity overall by having lower rated shows, or if I still out perform the standards expected by my broadcaster will I continue to increase popularity? I'm not running it as a brand split, if that makes any difference.

Generally though if they show up on Hot Prospects you just need to break their pop cap.</p>

Popularity gains and losses compare the show to existing popularity in the region that sees it, not broadcaster requirements. So if you exceed broadcaster expectations but grade lower than your popularity, you lose popularity.

Can someone explain finances to me, please?

I've been making a steady profit for five months straight. No surprises in the finances. Everything is as I expect them. But, then I rise to Regional, and ticket sales have doubled, workers wages have doubled, show costs have doubled, marketing has gone up, and production costs have nearly doubled.

Now, I expect this change from a jump in size... AFTER I've run my first show at the new size. My show was run on week 2, Saturday, October. I put on a small show. Rose to regional. I have yet to put on a regional show, yet I believe the finances at the end of the month are showing as if I've ran a regional show.

Is this how it's supposed to work?

I am in year 2 of my TCW game. I have atleast 3 matches of 96 or above every show. I actually started a new game because it was getting to be too boring

Yes your monthly expenses dont kick in until the end of the month. So it figures the whole month as Regional

I see that. I changed the product a bit for that reason. I lifted modern and realism to heavy so I have some competing ideologies amongst my fan base.

The screen says "is not established yet", so I'm guessing there's no effect.</p>
