It should definitely be a case by case basis and not a hard line when making decisions (like say making promos at least 6 minutes).</p><p> </p><p> Some guys just don't have the psychology and the shorter matches help them, it allows them to do all out matches with less of a chance of being exhausted as well.</p>

Hi this may be a stupid question but when i have a Broadcaster for events and touring highlights where do i put Touring highlights like how do i assign it to be under Touring Highlights and when do the highlights air?

 

Touring highlights are compiled automatically and air the day the highlights are set to air. You don't have to do anything.

so when I have to set a broadcaster I don't set any?

 

Oh yeah I forgot all about the changes in the broadcasting system. I actually have no idea if you're supposed to set a broadcaster with the new TEW16 system. In previous version you didn't have to set anything and the highlights aired every week automatically. I haven't run a touring company in TEW16 yet, tried it out quickly but even with a touring highlights deal in place and running a show, not only was I unable to pick a broadcaster (wasn't on the list), it definitely didn't generate a highlights show :p

 

Sorry about that dude. I'm puzzled and feel like a complete noob :D

<p>2 of the guys I want to push to main event had a poor rated gimmick. I changed both their gimmicks and one got below average and the other got poor again. Now I can't change the gimmick because it is too early but the poor gimmick has penalties on the match and also these are the gimmicks I actually want them to have.</p><p> </p><p>

How do I develop their gimmicks to get better rating without changing them?</p>

I'm not sure if there's a foolproof plan for them to grow into a rough start to a gimmick, but I've seen it happen without me doing anything special other than put the worker in question into good matches.</p>

All my developmental wrestlers want to come to the main roster, even the ones that aren't good enough. Is there something I can do about it, them not bothering me, and staying there without complaining until I bring them up while they also keep developing their skills?

<p>I have a quick question about randomly generated companies. I plan on doing an organic play through going from 1958 until the present day, and I am only starting with one promotion per area (US, Canada, Japan, etc.), as well as a few preset future companies.</p><p> </p><p>

How quickly do random companies generate? Additionally, how do they choose their products? Do they follow the major trends if they generate in certain eras?</p>

Is it possible to make a child company leave an alliance?

 

I want to create an alliance with my child companies, but they can't join if they're already in one.

 

It doesn't seem to be an option in the Editor under either the Company or Alliance sections.

 

edit: and apparently they can refuse to join an alliance with us, notwithstanding that we own them. So I can fire any of their workers at will, but I can't even loan one of their workers. :/

I wish there was a little more info about Dojo emphasis. Most of them are fairly self explanatory, but what does kind of wrestler does Shooters create? The only info I can really come up with is that trainers for a Shooters dojo have to have high toughness.

Change their training focus. Go through each focus and then if after that you still aren't ready to bring them up just change the focus to 'Work Down There'

 

Well, some of them are set on Improving Performance Skills who don't have enough Basics or Psychology and sometimes both, yet they still want to come to the main roster.

If I had to guess based on real world definitions, I'd imagine a shooters dojo would produce mainly tough as nails technical and striking type workers.

 

Lou Thesz, Karl Gotch, Ken Shamrock, and Billy Robinson come to mind.

 

Danny Hodge is also the epitome of a shooter.

They don't judge it on how bad they are at certain skills. They judge it on how much they can possibly improve.

 

i.e. if you have a giant working on his flying skills because they are 'abysmal' he may request to be brought up as he has achieved all he can in that specific skill set.

 

If you wanted to keep that giant in developmental you would need to change him to work on any other skill set that still has room for improvement (or set to work down there if he has no room for improvement in any skill sets).

I'm not too sure what the descriptions mean when comparing "could well go on to become a major player down the line" vs "somebody who could potentially carry the entire company on their back" for example.</p>

You can either ignore it and get a morale hit eventually, or call them up. If they aren't ready to be on tv have them work pre and post show matches until they are.</p>

Ok I go awhile and I need to change a worker's picture, since I have (to me) is a better representation of what I am looking for, but the old 'regen' that was assigned to the worker still shows, even though I fixed in the editor. I know I am forgetting a step, anyone got a link or a quick answer? <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Appreciate it.

So even though you change it from the in-game editor, in your roster it still shows the old picture. To change it for your own promotion you can do it in the roster screen by clicking worker name (on yellow). Then simply choose and select the new picture and save. To change in the in-game editor you have to go the 'Contracts' section and do the same.</p>
