<p>My issue is the actual booking of shows is extremely complex, is there a way to simplify things to more of a slightly expanded EWR style? So many storyline options and it's hard to find just basic segments like a one on one interview. Takes forever, and then you can just make your own segment which I don't like since It's easy to just cheat and I'm not sure which skill should be used for which types of segments.</p><p> </p><p>

To simplify things, how can I find the basic angles and simplify the booking process?</p>

On the other hand, you could use freestyle angles more. Or just create your own pack of 5 or so angles you need. I book New Japan and they have very simple angles so I basically created a pack of 5 that I rotate that are really simple.</p>

If your company has a strong face/heel divide, do you get a match bonus if a face wins decisively or a heel has a tainted victory?

 

I've not noticed this being the case. I do know that some products dislike tainted wins, so maybe it's happening and the product balances out the heel win bonus but I'm going to say it's just not happening.

I probably should know this by now, but... Where can I see, when I can negotiate with other fed's wrestlers under written deals? I mean, where can I see, when they are in the last month of their contracts?

I'm not sure you can actually see how long they have left on their contract. But if you add them to your 'Short List', it will notify you when you can start contract negotiations (as well ad any major events like injuries or real life feuds).

 

The Short List button is either on the character's main page at the bottom, or if you're on that fed's page, it's down under all the detailed info.

Anyone have any insight on company momentum? I am not sure if I should just set all real world companies to random, or if I should try to gauge where they are and use that to give them a grade. I just don't even know what it means to be honest. Could anyone give me a good example of companies with "A" momentum now versus one with "F"?

So as a baseline, that's a good place to start and I always prefer to have companies being set to a specific value rather than left to the wild as it has an effect on attendance, which obviously knocks on to finances in the form of ticket sales...</p><p> </p><p> Other things that affect momentum are the signings/loss of major name workers (usually at B- popularity or higher), going on or off the air with TV shows, winning/losing regional battles, losing national battles, the effects of dirty tricks (failing your own or having them used on you), worker scandals company scandals and buying out other companies. I ask because in my current game, Eddie Peak has been dropping stats extremely fast (a point a month in each stat), but isn't even showing up on the top 5. Meanwhile, Joel Bryant has lost like 2 points over 6 months and is the top of the list.</p>

As already mentioned, you can put workers you're interested in on your shortlist. This way you'll get notified when they're in the last month of their contract.

You can also navigate to the in-game editor and under contracts you can see how many days are left on their current deal.

The longer they have been in time decline, the higher they are on the list.

I have a question about child companies/development territories.

 

What are the requirements for staff at these companies? I'm trying to appoint a CEO for my newly created dev promotion and the person I wish to appoint is not showing up in the list of candidates. She has some skill as an owner, the promotion is mid level local, and she's on their roster. There is no ? explaining the requirements in the Staff window so I'm wondering if it's age related or something else. The person I'm trying to appoint is a 26 year old wrestler/manager and the youngest candidate in the (offer job) window is 34 years old.

High flying puro wrestler isn't a bad description.

 

My understanding of the history of puro is that early junior heavyweights were basically just small wrestlers, but they worked the same style as the heavyweights. Tiger Mask changed that, especially in his feud with Dynamite Kid. They brought athleticism and speed, as well as some high flying. But they were still hard-hitting and fairly technical. So to me, a super junior is going to be built around a fairly prototypical Japanese puro / strong style approach with realistic strikes, technical grappling, etc. But it will have some high flying elements as well.

 

Some people seem to take any high flyer with some striking or who tries to be "hard-hitting" is a super junior. But I feel like that is missing key elements to the style.

There may be background requirements. But there are also settings for owner preferences regarding company size. Maybe they are set to only be willing to take over a company above local sized....?

I've tried editing her to match the business settings of some of the other candidates that do show up as possibilities (Chigusa Nagayo, Billy Corgan, etc) but she still didn't appear in the list. The only difference I can see is age. It's not business reputation or respect because there are candidates with lower reputation and respect than she has ('she' being Chardonnay). I know from experience that workers on exclusive deals who are on the parent promotion's roster won't show up as candidates so I moved her down, advanced a day, and she still wasn't showing up. That's what led me to believe it's age.

Age could definitely be a factor, even if its not clearly stated anywhere. probably keeps there from being too many 19 year old billionaires with their own companies.</p>

I've been holding great shows, and I'm rising in popularity and importance which is great. However, I'm falling in importance in one region (Mid-Atlantic), but still rising in popularity there. I'm rising in importance everywhere else... Why am I falling in that one region? I thought they rose and fell together...

<p>Im not exactly sure if this is the reason, or if it's apart of the game, but I have a feeling that the regions importance of wrestling is falling faster then you're gaining popularity. it's the only thing i can think of that wouldn't be a bug and makes sense. </p><p> </p><p>

For instance, if you just stayed at 20 pop, but importance fell from 80% to just 75%. Your importance falls from 16 to 15. In that same period, if you went from 20 pop to 21, but the importance in the region fell from 80 to 75, your importance is then 15.75. </p><p> </p><p>

Then of course, the higher you get in your pop, the more pronounced the change is when the region itself drops in popularity.</p>
