Small Questions Thread & "Living FAQ"

When you build a dojo, what sort of fighter does a "Shooters" focus produce? My product is Key Realism and Key Pure. It doesn't appear to have Puro workers as an option, and I'd be ok with Technicians, but Shooters might be better, unless they mean shooters for Hyper Realism, which I don't really do.

I might be wrong, but I think "Shooters" are people who can shoot on the mic, thus choosing that should produce people with good Entertainment skills, maybe decent Camera skills too (not sure though, as Camera skills aren't exactly taught).

"Brawling" or "Technical" are probably the best options for your product. I'd consider "Physical" too, toughness and resilience are useful when you consider the physical toll this style takes on wrestlers and the gruelling schedules they're expected to work.

That is definitely not the case, "shooters" is referring to people with a legit submission grappling background.

So these are guys that would better fit a Hyper Realistic product?

My product has Pure and Realism and key, so I'm thinking Technicians would be preferred.

Thank you for the reply.

<p>I've been playing this game since it came out and still have match aim questions!</p><p> </p><p>

What is the use for lift the crowd and how does it differ from work the crowd?</p><p> </p><p>

I only use calm the crowd in a circumstance where I want to set up a technical masterclass/specticle/epic/once in a lifetime. So at what point do I need to lift or work the crowd? </p><p> </p><p>

Sometimes I used work the crowd as an opener but it doesn't seem to add any benefit.</p>

I prefer to control the crowd by, for example, running a mid-carder match I know won't do as well to cool the crowd a bit before my bigger matches. Good old piss break matches.</p>

When I vacate a title and then make a new champ the title history doesn't show that the title was vacant. Why is this?

Because you're replacing the champion. That's mainly for booking mistakes, or Freebird Rule, or something where you don't want to break the lineage of the title for any reason.

If you were to Vacate the title, then give the worker the title through a match or angle, the "Vacant" will appear.

That's what I do, but the vacant doesn't appear.

<p>Playing my RTG game, I'm a small fed in the mid south, and my importance hasn't risen (grade wise) in a year.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm in competition with my rivals, and generally come 2nd/3rd in the regional battles, plus at least one company at the same level runs a higher production level than I can (by two steps - I can't even afford to bump up one for a few shows without losing money!).</p><p> </p><p>

I'm clearing ~1k a month and don't seem to be growing at all. I've just had to radically refresh my roster due to raids and canning my champion due to painkiller addiction, and my user character is an egomaniac apparently because I have a high win rate (but I am one of the two best workers on the roster...)</p><p> </p><p>

It's fun, sort of, but a bit dispiriting to be essentially locked in stasis until CZCW stop putting on a fractionally better show than me every month. Is there anything else I can reasonably do to speed things along?</p>

<p>2 questions:</p><p> </p><p>

1.) After every show, I go into my roster screen and use the "autopush" feature on my whole roster to take into account any popularity changes that may have happened in the last show. Are there any potential downsides to doing this?</p><p> </p><p>

2.) I have a basic angle where one of my ring announcers reads off the card for the show. I have the ring announcer on screen and the top 4 guys on the card off screen. Announcer is rated on microphone skill (which I have as pretty high) and the wrestlers on overness. Still, every time I run it I get a message saying "ring announcer looked dreadful" or "ring announcer did not come out of this looking good". Why is this happening? The angle gets anywhere from a B to A rating.</p><p> </p><p>

Thanks in advance.</p>

As far as I know, this is pretty standard practice and something that many people on these forums suggest you do. If you have someone bouncing between Opener and Lower Midcard who drops to Opener AND you use them a little too much (>10 minutes, I think) on the next show, you might get an overuse note, which might marginally hamper their popularity gains. On the other other hand, if you don't use autopush for a while, someone might take a morale hit if their pop grows and their push isn't adjusted accordingly. So yeah, keep autopushing everyone.</p><p> </p><p> 2) This is probably because your ring announcer figure isn't nearly as over as the wrestlers he/she is talking about in the segment and, in the game's understanding, comes out looking "bad". I wouldn't worry about it, especially since the angles get such high grades, anyway, and since a ring announcer isn't in any way a significant role in this game. If it truly concerns you, you could make them minor angles so they don't affect your show grade at all.</p>

Tip. Don't even think of opening the delete button on the main page to delete saves when you have a long term game going. Just deleted my promotion that I've been on since January of this year. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/mad.png.69834f23b9a8bf290d98375f56f1c794.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
