<p>Curious about something I haven't bothered with in YEARS.</p><p> </p><p>

When two companies go to war, aren't their shared workers supposed to pick a side and leave one of the warring companies? I was testing to see if a war declaration on one member of an alliance would trigger the other members to follow suit (apparently not) but I'm noticing weeks later that our shared workers.....are still shared. I'm not worried about worker availability (I'm four sizes larger), just curious about how it works now.</p>

Do workers request pay raises from the AI like they do for player controlled promotions? I haven't paid a whole lot of attention to contracts outside of my company but I've had some shared workers ask me for a pay raise (which I grant usually) but I'm curious whether the AI gets a pass in this area.</p>

Can anyone explain to me why I'm being pulled into a regional battle when I am only a local company? I was well on my way to moving up to small, but now I am coming last in the battle and it is severely denting my company pop. Every month, I gain 1 pop, and then the battle takes it away again. How am I supposed to get out of local when this has happened?

Can someone tell me which is more important in a match with the aim of "high spots"? Aerial or Flashiness?

 

What about the aim 'technical masterclass'? Chain wrestling, Mat wrestling, or Submissions?

 

And the match style 'Brawling'? I assume it is Brawling. And Hardcore skill would be the most important in 'Hardcore' match styles. But which style is 'Puroresu' most important in? And of the 'Technical' styles which skill of the three are more important (Chain, Mat, Submission skills)?

The best thing you could do is just ride it out and not attempt to hotshot anything. Eventually your shows will just end up being better than theirs if you grow your roster well enough. </p><p> </p><p> Also sometimes, if your rivals aren't located in the same region as you, they will not run shows there, and their popularity in the region will fall out of Regional Battle contention. Look for that too. </p><p> </p><p> Or just turn them off...</p>

If I remember correctly though (this might have changed with recent editions) Flashiness was added as a bonus to the Aerial skill so perhaps you need a good Aerial skill anyway and the Flashiness bonus is just increased?</p><p> </p><p> Match types provide a bonus to workers with a high attribute in the respective top-row skill. You are right about Brawling and Hardcore. There is no Puroresu based match, that skill is simply there because certain product types emphasize or penalize it. For example, a classic puroresu product penalizes Hardcore and maybe Brawling, so brawler guys like Stone Cold Steve Austin would never stand a chance there;on the flip side, classic puro workers with no Brawling/Hardcore skill would never fare well in a blood and guts company like CZW. Another example would be to compare the same match happening within New Japan and Ring of Honor, it just feels different.</p><p> </p><p> As for Technical based matches and the Technical Masterclass goal, I think the top of three technical skills is picked. No need to think that deep into it as long as you have people whose Technical skills are better than their Brawling and Aerial skills.</p>

Is that the reason there are Cruiserweights, Luchadors, and Japanese Junior class wrestlers (as well as Spot monkey)? The product benefits each class exclusively. Like, Lucha Libre Key Feature would benefit the Luchadors over the Japanese Juniors?</p><p> </p><p>

Is there a way to tell who your product benefits more? I have no Hardcore in my product, so Psychos and Hardcore types are right out. But I have problems deciding who to scout for with the multitude of Aerial types.</p>

Because I don't have a puroresu setting in mine. (TEW2016). There is a 'pure' setting.
