And I was wondering if the Japanese Junior types melded better with Puroresu workers in matches or if it was okay to utilise Spot monkeys, and Cruiserweights as well (and Luchadors). Mostly just to give my cards some variety. I have no hardcore workers and my product says my fans don't want to see that anyway. So I'm left with technicians and puroresu who I wasn't sure what they meant in the game (I watch mostly puroresu, but that is a really broad rl genre of wrestling). That's when I noticed all the guys crowding up the midcard had decent flying.

So I was wondering if Cruiserweights advanced in skill in the technical areas faster than Japanese Juniors, and if not do the Juniorweights work better with puroresu. And the Lucha Libre product says it is "fast-paced and technical" so are they better at technical than either of the other two. And I assumed Spot Monkeys only work Aerial and not Technical at all.

Hey guys, quick question. I hope this is the place to ask. Were Shawn Gonzalez and Carlos Gonzalez from FCW (Cornelleverse) born in Puerto Rico?? I know its kind of a dumb question but I want to intend on pushing Carlos as a home-grown national hero that will supplant PuertoRican Power. Anyway I hope someone can answer this as I couldn't find the answer for myself.

Interestly enough, this is only partially correct. Realism definitely makes Puroresu Skill (and I mean the Skill) effective, but Hyper Realism does not. Only two Product Settings make the Puroresu Skill effective - Realism and Puroresu.

Puroresu "Skill" - Realism and/or Pure

Just so we're on the same page...

When you say "Product Setting Puroresu" are you meaning "Pure"? Because I do not have a Product Setting for Puroresu. I am using TEW2016

And the in-game description for Product Setting: Pure is so far from what I have thought of as puroresu that I didn't make that connection. I had always thought "Pure" meant more Olympic games style wrestling (and the mandatory match aim "Technical Masterclass" that comes with higher 'Pure' settings certainly added to that illusion for me.)

Sorry, "Pure". I was doing this in the wee hours of the morning.

I agree with you that Pure should relate to more Amateur Wrestling (and in my opinion, any sport that is purely grappling), but if you do some tests, "Pure" is the only other product setting that makes the Puroresu "Skill" effective. I agree it's odd, though.

Thank you very much. (wee hours of the morning are the most fun, too. imo)

Every storyline should be advanced at every A show, I believe. If not, it loses heat - and people will have expected to see them moving along, so will dislike a show that fails to do so.

If you're booking a five segment show, seven storylines is probably three or four too many (obviously depending on what your minimum is). A 1 minute promo segment can advance a storyline perfectly well, though.

You can also slap someone in the announce booth and advance the storyline that way. Interference, replacement referees, and, of course, take your singles competitors and make it a TAG TEAM MATCH PLAYA! Holla holla!

I have five A stories and two B stories. A stories are played out on every other Raw, so all five are advanced within the "every other A show" rule. The B stories get advanced on B shows. I've not known them to lose heat. That show I posted before had three stories advanced. Pretty sure the requirement is for one or two to be advanced.

Here's something I've been wondering for a while:

If a company's product makes gimmicks irrelevant, I understand a good/bad gimmick won't affect match&angle ratings, but does it still affect a worker's individual popularity gains?

I don't know, but I can say that I often play with products that make gimmicks irrelevant, and I just set everyone's gimmick to none. I never get any negative notes about it.
