If I have a worker who has 28 days left on his contract, and he gets another offer from another company that I can't match, but I go into the in-game editor and change his contract to expire in, say, 400 days and also give him loyalty to my company, can he still leavy for the other company that has offered him a deal?

Is there any reason for a companies PPV viewership to drop despite the company getting more popular, still being on the same broadcaster, and other companies on the same broadcaster seeing their numbers rise?

In my multiplayer game, one company has went from:

.97 -> .82 -> .99 -> 1.10 -> 1.28 -> 1.29 -> 0.87 -> 0.39

The other 3 companies over that same stretch:

1.06 -> 1.11 -> 1.38 -> 1.18 -> 0.99 -> 1.05 -> 1.26

1.09 -> 1.12 -> 1.15 -> 1.16 -> 1.31 -> 1.51

1.22 -> 1.19 -> 1.62 -> 1.39 -> 1.46 -> 1.48

All 4 companies are within 1-2 points of each other in US pop (90+), w/ the dropping company being more popular than 2 of the other 3, their main PPV broadcaster is the same company, they have a successful figurehead, they're still in the same timeslot they were when their number's were climbing, they have super high prestige and overall nothing has really changed at 1st glance.

When I isolated things to the main broadcaster and booked a few more events for each company, there was a 1.0+ difference in PPV #s. Attendance still stays the same but the viewership just keeps declining as the months go on.

Is there something I'm missing or is this some type of bug?

Due to the way the match rating calculations are made it's not very often one gets a true A* of 100. It's hard to say what the problem is in this case - or if there even is one - without knowing the exact product, pop & skills of the workers involved and road agent notes. Most likely you've just been 'unlucky' thus far and should keep on keeping on with what you're doing.

Does he have a worker with a Kliq (group of friends, like the Kliq with HBk that had HHH, Nash, etc.) that he turned against him? If so, the worker is turning everyone he can against Sid, which is why he feels isolated. There isn't much you can do. You can meddle, but the chance of working isn't guaranteed. I've just run a PPV and had someone penalised for holding back. I can't remember seeing that before, but I don't always use the dirt sheet so I'm not sure if that's typical or not.

My understanding is that workers don't hold back on PPV shows, but could it have been because of booking notes (it was a 'calm the crowd' match) or was it because it's quite a low-level PPV rather than a Historic etc. event?

I haven't seen that on a PPV either and it was also my understanding that it wouldn't occur. Must be some threshold on a personality slider that causes it.

It being a less important PPV could play into it. I'd be curious to find out.

Is there any notes that help people learn faster or keep them from learning as fast? Like, if you're trying to have a match between a Veteran and a Young Prospect, will certain notes like 'Keep it Simple', 'Script', 'Protect' hinder how much the youngster will learn? How about for promos, will letting them cut an Unscripted promo, even if they fail at it, help them get bigger gains in their Mic Skills than doing a safer, Scripted promo?
