You'd get a pop gain twice for one event. It would make Touring feds OP.</p>

With a lot of injuries, the worker is available for angles so you can do it when they're almost healed. Otherwise, just do it with them on your roster for a few show before putting them back in fulltime.</p>

I always thought touring highlight shows receive less ratings and the pop gains are less than normal TV shows. Also if you have a touring schedule and a regular TV contract your show stops when you are not touring. So you don't have to book the TV show when you are on your off months. Just wanted to chime in, I am not touring company expert but have played around with PGHW a bunch.

This ^^^

You can have both. Your "regular" TV deal would function as a normal TV show like any other company, while touring HL's only apply when you don't set a broadcaster for any weekly event.

Both gain pop and money, but tour HL's at a drastically reduced rate compared to "regular" TV shows.

The bonus of tour HL shows is that your rating criteria you need to hit is drastically lower than a normal TV show. So if you need a B usually for a normal TV, you likely only need a D/D- for a tour HL show for broadcaster requirements.

As mentioned, neither run during your off months.

<p>Got this game over the weekend sale and I've been figuring out a lot on my way, but I have one question I can't find anywhere. </p><p>

What determines that maximum amount of money you can offer someone in a contract? Companies are able to offer 4-5k more than I can (22-25k vs 17-20k)...except for one time when I was able to offer 120k per for some reason that I couldn't figure out. I had started my own company, I am currently Cult size, but even other cult size are outbidding me.</p><p> </p><p>

Thanks in advanced.</p>

Toggle smart offer. The smart offer puts you in a narrow window slider that is in the ballpark of what they will accept, if you toggle it off you can offer whatever you want, unless your owner says otherwise. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Is making a subscription service/broadcaster worth it? I have 99 popularity in Japan, 82 popularity in USA, Canada & the United Kingdom and 24 popularity in Europe, Australia, Mexico. If yes, how big should it be for each locations? I care way more about money now then popularity, so popularity isn't that much of an issue as long as I can make a profit. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

<p>Small Question About Appearances</p><p> </p><p>

Small question about PPA contracts. If I sign someone to a PPA contract and want it to be a short one like 3 or 6 appearances for a temporary boost, is an appearance considered the number of segments a worker appears in or the number of events? Example, if I sign someone to a PPA contract and I say a 4 appearance contract to build up to a big event and I book him for two segments in one "show", does that count as two appearances or just one?</p>

You can book as many angles and matches with that worker, it will still count as 1 appearance.</p>

<p>Hi, I have a short question about tv shows and events:</p><p> </p><p>

Is there any difference between running a tv show on a commercial broadcaster and running a weekly event on a commercial broadcaster?</p><p> </p><p>

If I understand correctly, events have larger audiences than tv shows, so wouldn't it be the better option?</p>

They are also more likely to get your roster unhappy for being left off of them. </p><p> </p><p> The audience size is not a huge difference. In my cult company, my tv show is average a .37 rating while my events each month are getting .50-.54. That’s not a significant difference, but the cost is higher and the expectations are greater.</p>

I had a game where I was playing as a regional company with internet PPV across the United State with 'tiny' visibility. I had Killer Shark, who came to me with C popularity but by the end of a four year run with me, he was up to B+.</p>

<p>Can you change your home region? From British Isles to America for example</p><p> </p><p>

I am running a Thunderverse LTG with a custom Wolf Hawkins(first c-verse character I could think of). I started with a local company, and we somehow ended up in the black after 6 shows in 3 months. So I continued to go along with my starter company as small trying to get hired as a booker any possible opening. We were stuck in regional battles, and I had to either try to stay profitable by running so/so shows or spend a ton to win the regional battles. I figured that this would lead to no movement and boring. I became the owner of GBWF, and we made cult pretty easily soon after my take over. I bought CWE, ECZ, TWR, and All Japan Joshi. So we have good popularity in British Isles and really good pop in Japan. I think we will be capped at cult unfortunetly. As Regional Importance is stuck in mid 70s for Central/Northern England and Ireland. For me to reach national I'd have to have 90 popularity, and that's not real possible. I want to slowly expand to USA, by buying out a regional company, and then try to make USA my home region as it's easier to expand there.</p>
