If you give a worker a bodyguard gimmick, would it be nice to assign them as a manager? Usually the workers in question would make poor managers, but they should accompany them to the ring to be realistic. Might be better to just imagine they do, but then they wouldn't get the pop boost that might result from an appearance.

I've been looking around and not seeing an answer to this question - if it's part of the in-game FAQ or an FAQ here on the site, just let me know and I'll happily march on over there.

What skills are managers graded on when they are not actively part of a segment? Like, if they're managing a wrestler in a match, what stats are looked at to determine the effect they have on the match grade? Or if they're not speaking during an angle - basically, any time when they're not being specifically selected as part of a segment, what does the game look at to determine whether they actively add or subtract from the segment rating?

Thanks in advance!

I just did that after readin your post, and noticed, that in a cornellverse managers usually are "equipped" with: charisma, micskill, acting skill, and star look, plus sex appeal. I would think that this is the correct order, especially if you look on some of most popular managers there. The better first three mentioned, the better manager i believe. And if i think about any manager in the corner of stars today, then it seems that charisma + acting for the match, and charisma + mic for promos would be my picks for the most important attributes.

so, every big match im booking just keeps getting "there were times when there was a definite lack of psychology on display" message.

Here's the example: i've got match between competitors that had 90 and 91 in-ring perfomances in a match that have high prestige. 1st competitor have B psych and second have B+ and im set this match to be scripted (with the road agents note), and this penalty keeps occurring. What should i do with that?

The longer and better the match, the higher the Psychology ratings needed. Some of the road agent notes help reduce the potential penalties (or increase the bonuses), but at the most basic level the answer to your question is that the workers you are using are not yet good enough at psychology to produce a match equal to their other in-ring skills.

So, in other words, the better and the longer the match, the higher the Psychology has to be. You can try shortening the match to see what happens.
