It's pure popularity all the way down the decimal place. Every point that you have from around the world is added up to produce your ranking, as listed on the Company Wars screen. It's always been this way too, with that particular screen even explicitly telling you so. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png">

Titles belong to the company, not the champion, so you are correct in that the title would stay with you.

My plan is to leave the NWA, just as WCW did. I currently have 4 NWA titles (not the NWA World Title) and wanted to know if it was possible to give those titles (somehow, someway) to the alliance when I leave and start fresh with WCW titles.

Not if the titles are property of your company and not alliance titles. It sounds like your best route would be to simply deactivate the titles you don't want and create new ones. The other option would be to edit the names of the titles, replacing NWA with WCW. The lineages would remain intact that way.

Okay, so I need help with creating a second brand. Right now, I have been playing a game from March 1987 to present day February 2000.

I've slowly been building a big dispute between the leadership of the WWF. Right now it is Paul Heyman (Commissioner) and Jesse Ventura (President) vs. CEO Vince McMahon.

My plan is to have Heyman and Ventura announce that they bought out Stephanie and Shane McMahon and taking half the roster to form a new promotion.

What I need help with is naming the promotion.

The top three promotions in my game are

1)WWF

2)WCW

3)New Japan

I want to keep WCW alive for as long as possible to have competition.

I bought out ECW last year; it was a national promotion but just couldn't maintain a good financial status

I imported Total Championship Wrestling in 91 and it went out of business in 94.

Paul Heyman does not have any history with ECW (Bischoff was the Booker instead)

Linda McMahon divorced Vince in the game and later took ownership of Supreme Wrestling Federation (imported in 97)

Now that you know a little detail about the game. What would be a good second brand promotion name. I want something different.

Here are my ideas

VSE : Value Sports Entertainment

BWI : Battlefield Wrestling Industry

WWO : World Wrestling Organization

TCW :Total Championship Wrestling (I really want to just use this but also want something original)

Any ideas?

In what ways if any does having promotions under your control via Developmental conflict with having them a part of a user-created Alliance? Is there any conflict in gameplay at all?

I'm trying to set a game world up to my liking with the backstory being that my character after 15+ years in the business had finally built their company up to a respectable product capable of being a solid alternative to the WWE. Wanting to ensure that the future of pro-wrestling remains strong however the owner secures the purchases of several wrestling companies and has them all operate under their own alliance banner similar to the NWA, while giving each child-company a slot on the parent-company's wrestling network to ensure they receive adequate exposure.

Announcers are optional for non-broadcasted events.

The AI is constantly getting better matches out of workers than I can, any tips on putting on a good match/getting the best out of someone?

Examples being Greg Gauge with me would at max get a 57 with another one of my top workers, but when he went on tour he was consistently in matches getting 85-90 ratings, same with other workers I see who do not have great stats, but are putting on matches with 90+ ratings.

In a performance based promotion - which a puro company in japan almost certainly is - the in-ring skills of someone like Gauge can really shine. Even without him having notable popularity in Japan, he can still put on really good matches. Against an opponent who is skilled, popular, or both, you get the kind of grade you saw there.

Don't fret about something like that. The different circumstances make it a totally different situation.

Are there any other effects (apart from overness loss and momentum loss) of having wrestlers lose a lot?

I mean I want to push a wrestler to main event but some times I don't have a choice but to have him lose multiple times (part of storyline) which results in his losses more than his wins his match history. Will that have any other effects?

Hi,

A small question... sometimes when I book a show I hire a "one-night-deal" local wrestler. However, I don't know how to book them in a match. Actually, when I want to make a match, I have the entire roster in the list, but the local wrestler in question is nowhere to be found...

Thanks !

You need to go to your roster screen and assign them a push

You can turn them as soon as you want (i.e the next show). This will be seen as a shock turn.. as there was no buildup for the turn and the fans didn't see it coming. You can also set them to turn, have them do shows and angles and the fans will get some hints at a turn. There is no standard or no right way to do it, you just do it how ever you want.

However, be reminded that if you have too many shock turns too soon, they will get a poor reaction. Also if you have a wrestler turn too soon after a prior turn, it will also receive a bad reaction.

Another thing to mention is the success/failure of these turns depends on your Creativity talent (User Talents, remember?). The more Creativity talent you have, the better reaction a turn (or a gimmick change) will get.

Thanks for the answer!

I already knew the thing for the shocking turn but what if, for example, I want to turn Roman Reigns at WrestleMania but I want to have him be face but act like a heel (kind of the situation with him today, he gets booed and everything, and he acts heelish sometimes but he is face) If I prepare the turn on Week 1, December and pull the trigger at WrestleMania, won't it be too long?

And good thing for Creativity because I chose "Ideas Man" as template <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
