If you don't like Who's mod, don't play it. Landxx has a mod that starts workers out with much higher stats and pop. Maybe try his mod. Who isn't here to make a mod directly to your liking, he uses the suggestions from 2 different online forums to set his stats, so his mod is essentially made by people like me and you who enjoy the game. So quit complaining, find a mod that you enjoy, or make your own. It sounds like you are only upset about some WWE/NXT guys. It won't take long to fix those guys in the editor before you start your first game and then everything will be good.

Ok since you want to be a douche let me go over what is wrong with your mod since your pathetic ego is clouding your mind.

Starting with NXT.

Velveteen Dream to start:

unknown.png

What a terrible set of attributes for one of the top guys in NXT. Now lets look at Pete Dunne, Aleister Black, Tyler Bate, Johnny Gargano, Chad Gable(mostly Perf and Technical), Strowman(Brawling, and ENT), Theres well over 20-30 guys active on WWE/NXT alone who should be a solid 10 points high in mic/charisam alone. I appreciate the work put in but if you are gonna work on it atleast work on the guys in the biggest company giving them the stats they deserve.

The entire bottom half of the NXT mens roster seems to be nothing but 40 in every attribute. Guys in NXT are some of the best wrestlers in the world they should be treated as such IMO.

Wow. Calling someone a douche who has contributed more free time to this board and making the game better for a lot of people shows what a disrespectful and ungrateful person you are. Clearly your parents failed to teach you any manners or basic social skills.

iruleall, stop being abrasive and abrupt. Everyone else, stop baiting him. I understand that iruleall's sentiments were poorly worded and unnecessarily rude however he is entitled to give feedback (if only in a far nicer manner). Calling iruleall names - and vice versa iruleall - doesn't help matters at all.

While I can admit the incredible determination and patience it takes to make a mod which I dont have either so I cant make a mod to completion. My thing is when making a mod if i were to I would want to make sure its rather complete in a sense. No workers messed up(Dream and numerous from NXT from a quick glance) and ready to function. There needs to be a happy medium between your mod and the other mods many of us people have played. Like for example after the 1st Raw we get a penalty for lack of stars on the show. So I look to see and notice almost every Main Event guy IRL has 60-65 pop overall. After some further looking most of your WWE roster needs a popularity overhaul TBH. Midcard guys should be in the 55-65 range while your jobbers should be low 40s and MEs low 70s-high 80s(Reigns/Cena)

Have you considered modeling your popularity and even skillsets after Cverse attributes? This way not everyone is in the 90s but also the good workers not in the 50s either. You can do that if you have a fixed start date, this is not practical with monthly updates. Stats change and evolve and unless it's pointed out with some idea on how to change how am I able to update and manage all 6,000+ workers within my database on top of other changes, that's why I need input from users on what needs improving. This will likely be the point you play the "why don't you streamline your mod", I will then point you towards the work of Fleisch, who I always describe as the Pro Evolution Soccer to my FIFA, he has a refined and smaller database compared to mine, where I have all those weird leagues you don't even know are there.

As for your comment modeling after the C-Verse, the main problem there is I've touched the C-Verse and don't plan on using it so thats now a logical option.

Like Velveteen from his start to now would see a huge increase obviously. But otherwise guys like him dont just appear out of nowhere too often. Also when I said modeling after I meant purely skills and popularity levels of the workers for those top companies. Like you dont see guys with 90 pop at MEs or 60 pop usually its high 70s and low 80s with their top workers being usually decent in ring or good on the mic. Given there are some guys who are neither one of those who get pushed which is what Reigns would be considering his push.

I think the point TheWho is making is that because of the mammoth size of his mod and the manner in which he releases updates (every month), it is impossible to perfectly mimic real life. In the case of the Velveteen Dream's stats, there was probably a time where he wasn't as good as he is now, and this time is what TheWho used when making his stats potentially over a year ago, or even more.

The CornellVerse and even Real Life mods with a set date (such as a 2004 mod) are always going to be more accurate, because the creator can spend all their time perfecting the stats, not having to worry about, for example, Kofi Kingston suddenly becoming far more charismatic than previously thought possible, or the wild improvements Dream has made.

It's unfortunate, but if people want releases every month with updated champions, rosters and etc, there are going to be compromises. The statistics are compromised.

Being aggressive instead of offering actual improvements to someone who is in a race to maintain the accuracy of over 6000 workers and countless other factors is ridiculous.

Here is the update for February, main change this month is that I went through wrestler popularity for WWE, NXT, NJPW, Impact & ROH, just balancing and making things a bit more logical for 2018. While working through WWE I noticed some injuries missing so added those. There are some starting absences and scandals added that may not be accurate (Enzo, Elder & Davis) that don't reflect what they did but it's the best that's available in game. Beyond that, just the usual general updating with a few additions (List of new workers added this month), I updated all suggestions posted in the threads, hopefully not much has been missed.

The first post has been updated with all links.

Enjoy

Database: February 2018 (2)

Graphics: February 2018

Any clue to when the next Whoniverse update will be ready? TheWho87, thank you for your work. Sorry not everyone likes it, but that will be the case for everything in life. Either way, to put in the work for thousands of workers in a database and thousands more entries such as promotions, titles, histories, companies, etc just takes a ton of effort. Great job.

I always felt like we don't really have the right to complain about a mod and just submit updates to help out. Be thankful someone is working hard to make this an option.

Update.

EC3, Ricochet, Candice LeRae, Raymond Rowe and Hanson have all signed developmental deals with NXT

Rockstar Spud debuted as an Authority Figure on 205 Live as Drake Maverick.

Hey mate, just letting you know about a change to Aussie broadcasters (again).

ABC2 rebranded to ABC Comedy, and it's nearly all preschoolers programming from 6am to 8pm, so it's probably best to either remove it altogether or change it to very high comedy and very low risk levels. Other than that all remains stable over here.

There's also a couple of channels missing, namely 9Life, 7Flix and NITV.

9Life is mostly lifestyle and reality shows.

7Flix is mostly movies, with some minor TV series sandwiched between

NITV is National Indigenous Television, it has a lot of culturally relevant things from native peoples all over the world.

I'm not sure how these would fit in the mod, but I thought I'd let you know about them anyway.

Just wondering why Jerry Lynn has a contract with Impact Wrestling? Not complaining or criticizing just thought i may have missed something. I didn't know he left ROH.

Also Brandi Lauren , Mario Bokara , Hector Guererro , could be taken off the Impact Roster. I could be wrong but i think Dutch Mantel and Peredyse are also gone and James Mitchell's appearance at Slammiversary was a one shot deal so he could probably be taken off as well.

Great work on this MOD btw , one of the most (if not the most) in depth MOD's out there!
