Work is still going strong on this. Matt kind of let the cat out of the bag about me taking over the 1988 mod. Little of bit of work has been done on it, but not very much. As my focus is the 80 mod as of now. Plus they are 6 other mods that are in planning stages before I get to 88 mod. Plus their Seventh mod I am wanting to do but that's going to take some time to get too.

Alvarasus - Would you be able to provide a guesstimate as to when the 80's mod might be published? This evening? 2017? <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I added the UK & Europe data and ran some tests around that. It'll need looked at again as the US & Canada was far from complete, whilst not a lot has been done on Mexico & Japan. I know folks are chomping at the bit here, but it's going to take a while yet and I'm certain you'll appreciate all the work upon actual release.</p>

<p>Its still going. Running tests right now to see what I need to fix. I cut down how many companies are in the game these are the local companies that there is very little information on. Progress is slow but eventually I </p><p>

will get it where I am comfortable releasing it.</p>

<p>Lot progress has been made added a handful of workers to the game. I don't know if I mentioned it, but unless a company is touring company they will have following shows.</p><p> </p><p>

1 one hour TV show and 2 weekly events with few exceptions being WWF and JCP that run 2 1 hour tv shows and 2 weekly events. </p><p> </p><p>

If you notice I don't mention end of the month events because they are none and no the game doesn't create any. I stumbled on this fact when running 1 year sims. To see how certain workers progress in particular like say Hulk Hogan. I will just say the results are impressive to say the least.</p>

I love these old mods. Loved DOTT, currently messing around with one that starts early 70's. So, I hate to bring this up. there needs to be a balance between making mods super realistic and working with how the game works. The multiple weekly shows plus TV may be realistic, and workers will develop very well that way, but within the game does it work? Workers develop quickly but also get injured more. Should companies really be running 3 shows a week? (2 house shows plus tv)

The 70s mod i'm playing is fantastically researched. I'm sure you are doing the same for this one. BUT, I'm not sure the "every company has 2 house shows plus TV every week" is the best way to set up a game. I may be way wrong though

edit: I post this here because I am very interested in your mod. I ask the questions because i'm trying to help

<p>The 2 house shows are going to be needed for the player to ever get out of being Regional-locked, which is one of the issues in the 1970 mod (granted that's realistic but just bores the hell out of me). I'd bet that none of the feds are going to be that high on intensity or danger so the real issue will be if the feds all hire the same workers causing people to wrestle 4+ shows per week. Also remember that you have to run the TV shows like they are now (unless he's making them all B shows which tends to not work as the AI drops them whenever they can or add an A show) vs how they were back then which makes them a lot more expensive as more main eventers get used so it might be necessary to break even.</p><p> </p><p>

Heck, even in my modified DOTT mod of his in 13 with Memphis at Cult, I had to run both the Mid-South and Louisville Gardens (later Freedom Hall due to pop growth) to break even, and that was with written contracts (and an admittedly bloated roster though the repeat booking penalty necessitated that which the new Hire a Jobber option in 16 might eliminate).</p>

You know this weekend hard. George "The Animal" Steele, Ivan Koloff, and Nicole Bass all passed this weekend. Chavo Guerrero passed the weekend before. So looking at the pictures of these guys is hard.

There is 3,505 workers in the mod as of right now. Working on most of All-Japan and New Japan rosters done. All- Japan and New Japan are National companies when the game starts. IWE and AJW start off as cult. WWF, AWA, GCW are cult companies. EMLL and UWA are both Cult but may look at moving both to National as they warrant it.

I know some may complain about the company sizes but as evidence I have seen all the companies warrant their size.
