WCW has...

A endless supply of money

As much TV time that are needed

He is paid like the owner

He has creative control

He is a survivor

He know how to book himself strong, so why not give him the task of making the entire promotion look strong

Some would describe him as a....

Self-serving

Ego-ridden

Greedy megalomaniac

His name is Hulk Hogan and he will bring in his lapdogs Ed Leslie, Jim Duggan and Jimmy Hart for the ride

Hogan will receive a cut of the pay-per-view revenues

Ted Turner has agreed on letting Hogan become a shareholder

Will Hogan focus to make serious cash for himself and Turner in the process?

Hulk Hogan...Creative Genius or Complete Jackass?

Wrestling News, Rumors, Results & Spoilers

http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee489/asaemon/WCW/PW%20Insider.jpg

Inside sources claim that WWF have made several contract offers in the past two days, as they look to expand their roster slightly. It is not clear whether these offers have been made to active wrestlers or not, but if true, it is expected that we will hear announcements very soon.

WCW are preparing to bring some new faces onto their roster, with management apparently attempting to 'fill some gaps' Rumous has it that at least one contract was offered last night, although it is not clear who to. We expect further developements over the next week.

Inside sources claim that WWF has parted ways with veteran wrestler Randy Savage. Although Savage’s inexplicable banishment from the company is not explained, Vince McMahon has said, “I do not wish to do business with that man.”

WCW has parted ways with Shanghai Pierce, Tex Slazenger, Jean-Paul Levesque and Sensuous Sherri after their deals had recently been allowed to expire due to cost-cutting measures.

Paul Roma has been fired. Rumour has it that Paul Roma was fired after a backstage altercation with German rising star Alex Wright and wrestling legend Ric Flair. Flair bitch slapped Roma and called him "a glorified gym rat". Inside sources claim that Roma got to choose between being fired the next day, or spending the rest of his contract by jobbing on syndicated television to The Gambler and The Terrorist.

Rumour has it that WCW are planning to focus heavily on promoting and establishing the WCW International Brand which includes the WCW International World Heavyweight Championship. Insiders have commented that the WCW International Brand could get their own specific television slot focusing on showcasing internationally known WCW wrestlers and international talents from all over the World.

In major news from WWF, Shawn Michaels has just turned babyface during WWF Monday Night Raw reuniting The Rockers together with Marty Jannetty. The switch of allegiance, clearly designed to both refresh Shawn Michaels and the top of the card, should lead to a whole host of potential new matches and feuds.

There is talk amongst those in the know that WWF officials now consider Bret Hart to be a "flop" as company figurehead, with attendance levels and other indicators showing that he is not having the positive impact that was expected of him. It is thought that they will no longer be booking him quite as powerfully as they have in the past as a result. It has been reported that WWF are looking to bolster their roster with a new signing that can be pushed as company figurehead.

Former WCW workers Mark Canterbury and Dennis Knight have signed contracts with the WWF. Shanghai Pierce and Tex Slazenger debuted on WWF Wrestling Challenge as The Godwinns; two cousins who are hog farmers from Arkansas.

WCW Saturday Night Prediction Card July Week 1 1994

Brian Pillman vs Haito

Terry Taylor vs Steve Austin

I've spent a lot of time lately to study the WCW bookings/results and will be booking Saturday Night in a similar style. Of course some changes will be made depending on which workers i do sign and since several of the classic WCW jobbers are missing in the database and i already have fired locker room cancer Paul Roma. I'm also adjusting/changing the original WCW Saturday Night cards so that its competitive each week, instead of dream cards one week and just a midcard main event and squash matches the next.

Besides studying WCW results i've also done a lot of research on fantasy booking and alternative booking on how WCW should/could have been booked. So i pretty much have the major timeline and feuds already planned until 2001/2002.

Footage from the previous week's contract signing between WCW World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan for their match at Bash at the Beach, overseen by Ted Turner and Gene Okerlund. "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair starts making legitimate points about Hogan's arrogance and self-centered persona, and Hogan counters with a speech about the "Hulkamaniacs" waiting in the parking lot for him if he doesn't sign the contract.

"It's not going to be just another day at the beach. It's going to be the Bash at the Beach." Heel colour commentator Bobby "The Brain" Heenan hypes Ric Flair and keeps bashing Hogan on commentary with anti-Hogan remarks. Heenan said that Hulk Hogan is just someone he despise. He said it was both personal and business. Bobby Heenan and Gene Okerlund begin to argue and finally tell each other to shut up.

firstly I voted this a 5* simply because someone had voted it a 1 which seems very harsh.

secondly ill be keeping an eye on this. hoping you knida get the Hogan persona and perhaps book as such.

and lastly the thing ive noticed with many diarys is that people like to see the ratings the matches and segments get so may be worth considering adding them in?

Hogan will probably try to keep it simple and use the basic Hogan vs Unstoppable Monster storylines and make certain that his buddies and friends also get some spotlight.

I'll begin adding the ratings from the next show.

In a decent match, Harlem Heat defeated Stars 'n' Stripes in 5:39 when Booker T defeated The Patriot by pinfall with a Heat Bomb. The match also had a lot of interference: Dave "Evad" Sullivan came ringside targeting Booker T and Stevie Ray. Dave is mad at Harlem Heat for beating him up last week.

And here's Kevin Sullivan barking in front of Dave and daring Harlem Heat to come at him. Kevin Sullivan and Booker T are now in the ring, and are squaring off, yelling at each other. The argument soon turns physical, and they are joined by Stevie Ray and Cactus Jack for a wild brawl, with the chaos spilling out all around ringside.

Despite Hogan's political influence on the bookings, someone else high up in the WCW hierarchy might have listened to the Cactus Jack vs Steve Austin idea. Cactus Jack vs Steve Austin could a intruiging feud/match.

According to some reports, tensions are beginning to rise between SMW and ECW. Nobody has yet been able to put a finger on exactly when things started going wrong, but there is defintely a new hostility between the two organisations which does not bode well for the future.

Ric Flair Loaned To AAA

It has been confirmed that Ric Flair will be making a special one-off appearance on the upcoming AAA TripleMania III show after a loan was agreed with his current employers, WCW. More news as we get it.

The Warrior Plans

According to a leaked memo, the powers that be in WWF have decided to push The Warrior as the new "face of the company". Internally, the hope is that his drawing power will help fuel an upswing in business. It is thought that they see him as the worker around which the next five to ten years can be planned. The Warrior has yet to make his debut and the leaked memo confirming his return to WWF is a major surprise.

The Warrior vs The Underfaker

I just like the idea of WWF trying to keep the underfaker as a standalone member of the roster without a repackaging of his character and having him fued with a big name draw like warrior, "yeah I'm not the real undertaker but I'm the nearest you will get to being in the ring with him anytime soon and you might beat me easily..."

I hope that WWF would change Monday Night Raw to 2 hours, that would make them much more competitive using more of their stars in matches and angles.
