In a bout that had sensational wrestling and fantastic heat, Sting drew with Ric Flair in 19:41 when the referee lost control and stopped the match, when Elizabeth and Hulk Hogan interfered. Sting was killing Flair in there. Flair gets a very brief advantage, but Sting goes back to kicking his ass in no time, with the Stinger Splash and a Superplex. Now it's Scorpion Deathlock time, but Elizabeth runs in and tries to save Flair. Wait here comes Hogan and confronts Flair.

"NOOOO!"

Flair wants no more of Sting or Hogan. Not tonight. He wasn't ready. This isn't fair to Flair.

In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Arn Anderson and Dustin Rhodes defeated Sgt. Craig Pittman and The Gambler in 6:05 when Dustin Rhodes defeated The Gambler by pinfall with a Running Bulldog. During the match we also saw Col. Robert Parker flanked by his mighty bodyguard Meng trying to taunt and distract Dustin Rhodes, and Arn Anderson. Col. Parker struts around like a rooster in a hen house smoking his cigar.

In a one sided squash match that had hard-hitting wrestling but little heat, Vader defeated The Cole Twins in a Handicap match in 4:40 when Vader defeated Keith Cole by pinfall with a devastating Vader Bomb. Vader did beat the crap out of The Cole Twins tonight.

Brad and Brian Armstrong makes their entrance and are joined by Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel. Bockwinkel says that Scott Armstrong is injured and that Steve Armstrong currently is touring in Japan. Bockwinkel grants The Armstrong a substitute. Here comes “Flyin'” Brian Pillman to replace the missing Armstrong brother. The crowd love it.

Bobby Heenan is irritated and says that this isn't fair to The Stud Stable. The Armstrong shouldn't be allowed to replace their missing brother. The Stud Stable makes their entrance and Col. Robert Parker introduce "Dirty" Dick Slater as the newest member of the stable.

In a decent match, Terry Funk and Bunkhouse Buck and "Dirty" Dick Slater defeated Brian Pillman and The Armstrongs in 8:25 when Terry Funk defeated Brian Armstrong by pinfall with a Texas Piledriver.

In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Cactus Jack & Kevin Sullivan defeated Bad Attitude in 5:57 when Kevin Sullivan defeated Steve Keirn by pinfall with a vicious Double Stomp. Cactus Jack & Kevin Sullivan make defence number 6 of their WCW World Tag Team Championship titles.

After the match Harlem Heat and The Nasty Boys entered the ring and started yelling at each other and at Cactus Jack & Kevin Sullivan. Quickly a number of officials and other wrestlers have to hit the ring and pull them apart before it turns physical.

In a bout that had sub-par wrestling and little heat, Ed Leslie defeated jobber Randy Hogan in an Impromptu match in 0:59 by pinfall with a Vertical Suplex. Flair is furious, and Leslie jumps around just he just won a championship. That's it says Flair. If you think that you can defeat me; "The Nature Boy", now is your chance. Flair says that Leslie is a simple lackey.

In a superb match, Ric Flair defeated Ed Leslie in 5:48 by submission with a Figure Four Leglock after botched interference from Hulk Hogan. Hogan accidentally hit Leslie, which Bobby Heenan thinks is hilarious. Ric Flair makes defence number 8 of his WCW World Heavyweight Championship title and quickly retreats to the backstage area. While Hogan is looking if his friend Leslie is ok.

When Vader and The Guardian Angel engage in a violent brawl, Austin decides that if seems safest to leave the arena.

Badd is fired up tonight and Regal can’t keep him down and begs off in the corner. Regal tries to wear him down with technical wrestling. In the end, the skilled technician Regal manages to trap Badd into a Regal Stretch.

Lord Steven Regal returns to the ring, still covered in confetti. Regal interrupts and asks why he hasn’t received an award. He’s in the House of Lords, you know! Regal calls himself far superior to Inoki. The crowd responds when Inoki takes of his jacket, and enter a intense staredown with Regal. Regal says “I’m sick of these so-called bloody legends!” Regal says that he has already disposed of one legend in Larry Zbyszko. The crowd is all about Inoki giving Regal what's for. The argument come to blows and leads to an Impromptu Match between the two wrestlers.

Arn Anderson & Dustin Rhodes vs Bunkhouse Buck & Terry Funk

Arn Anderson and Bunkhouse Buck shrugs off a couple collar-and-elbow tie-ups to start. Until Dustin Rhodes comes in and starts hammering away on Buck. Terry Funk tags, but Dustin won’t let him into the ring and lands a haymaker to send him out to the floor. Funk goes crazy on the floor and swings at Meng and Col. Robert Parker. Back in the ring, he backs Rhodes into the ropes and fires away with punches. The whole time Funk is mouthing off and belittling Dustin for being a Rhodes.

Rhodes fights back with Bionic Elbows! He hits a stiff Lariat on Terry Funk and crotches Bunkhouse Buck up on the top rope. Dustin throws Buck on top of Funk and finally makes a tag to Arn Anderson! With Dustin physically exhausted, Double A makes the tag resulting that Arn turns on Dustin and drops him with a perfectly-executed DDT! Meanwhile, the referee is with Meng. Double A puts Funk on top as the referee counts three.

In a bout that had great wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Bunkhouse Buck & Terry Funk defeated Arn Anderson and Dustin Rhodes in 15:33 when Terry Funk defeated Dustin Rhodes by pinfall.

These two big brutes had a kickass match at Spring Stampede. Once again it's a brutal display of power when these two collide. It's all about clubbering blows and stiff power moves.

Vader eats a right, then they go back in, as Angel suplexes him in from the apron. Then Guardian Angel shoulderblocks Vader into the referee that gets knocked over. Meanwhile, Harley Race has a "telescopic night stick" and hits the Angel in the head. Vader finish Angel with a brutal Triple Powerbomb. Race quickly hides the "telescopic night stick" before the referee wakes up.

In a bout that had superb wrestling and great heat, Vader defeated The Guardian Angel in 11:48 by pinfall with a Triple Powerbomb.

Terry Funk is on his knees babbling on about how much he is hating The Rhodes Family. Col. Robert Parker puffs his cigar and leads his boys in a toast for the most honorable man he knows, "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson.

This sets up a great promo from Arn. He told Dustin he would get the old Arn Anderson, and that’s exactly what he got, and then Terry Funk and Bunkhouse Buck pour champagne on his Arn's while he's talking.

Crowd's hot and the match has a ton of energy. "The Dirtiest Player in the Game" is controlling the match and tries everything to defeat Hogan.

Nothing Flair tries seems to work to finish Hogan. Suddenly Ric Flair has some brass knuckles, and wham! Down goes Hogan, while Elizabeth distracted the referee. "The Nature Boy" goes for the pinfall. 1, 2, Hulk-Up. "Damn it!" Heenan exclaims. Flair lays into him with rights, but Hogan is shaking it all off, of course. Hogan goes on full offense and finish Flair with the Leg Drop.

In an unbelievable match, Hulk Hogan defeated Ric Flair in 22:14 by pinfall with a Leg Drop. Hulk Hogan wins the WCW World Heavyweight Championship title.

NJPW goes on tour in august so i decided to book the Inoki vs Regal match right away, since i probably couldn't have loaned him in august...

So while Hulk Hogan is pulling the strings and push his cronies like Ed Leslie, Jim Duggan and The Nasty Boys; he is split between backstage politics and making serious cash. He might not be the smartest business man, but he is still smart enough to realise that; Ricky Steamboat is a reliable veteran; Vader is a potential moneymaker if pushed as the unstoppable monster heel; Sting could be Hulk's heir when Hulk retires; and maybe Ric Flair is right when he says that "Stunning" Steve is the next big thing in WCW...

Ric Flair vs Hulk Hogan

Crowd's hot and the match has a ton of energy. "The Dirtiest Player in the Game" is controlling the match and tries everything to defeat Hogan.

Nothing Flair tries seems to work to finish Hogan. Suddenly Ric Flair has some brass knuckles, and wham! Down goes Hogan, while Elizabeth distracted the referee. "The Nature Boy" goes for the pinfall. 1, 2, Hulk-Up. "Damn it!" Heenan exclaims. Flair lays into him with rights, but Hogan is shaking it all off, of course. Hogan goes on full offense and finish Flair with the Leg Drop.

In an unbelievable match, Hulk Hogan defeated Ric Flair in 22:14 by pinfall with a Leg Drop. Hulk Hogan wins the WCW World Heavyweight Championship title.

In an one sided squash match, Vader defeated Erik Watts in 4:50 by pinfall with a brutal Release Powerbomb. During the match we also had "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan confontrate and call Vader a bully. Duggan carries his signature two-by-four and accuse Vader of trying to end The Guardian Angels career. Duggan challenge Vader to a match and looks ready to start swinging right away. Vader looks like a raging bull ready to launch his attack.

Arn Anderson & Dustin Rhodes vs Bunkhouse Buck & Terry Funk

Arn Anderson and Bunkhouse Buck shrugs off a couple collar-and-elbow tie-ups to start. Until Dustin Rhodes comes in and starts hammering away on Buck. Terry Funk tags, but Dustin won’t let him into the ring and lands a haymaker to send him out to the floor. Funk goes crazy on the floor and swings at Meng and Col. Robert Parker. Back in the ring, he backs Rhodes into the ropes and fires away with punches. The whole time Funk is mouthing off and belittling Dustin for being a Rhodes.

Rhodes fights back with Bionic Elbows! He hits a stiff Lariat on Terry Funk and crotches Bunkhouse Buck up on the top rope. Dustin throws Buck on top of Funk and finally makes a tag to Arn Anderson! With Dustin physically exhausted, Double A makes the tag resulting that Arn turns on Dustin and drops him with a perfectly-executed DDT! Meanwhile, the referee is with Meng. Double A puts Funk on top as the referee counts three.

In a bout that had great wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Bunkhouse Buck & Terry Funk defeated Arn Anderson and Dustin Rhodes in 15:33 when Terry Funk defeated Dustin Rhodes by pinfall.

Harlem Heat make defence number 1 of their WCW World Tag Team Championship titles. No Don King here tonight, but Harlem Heat were still successful without the loudmouth promoter. While Booker T and Stevie Ray celebrates, Kevin Sullivan's jaw drops and his face go white while staring at his brother...

Is Dave Sullivan the World’s #1 Hulkamaniac?

Dave accidentally distracted Kevin Sullivan and Cactus Jack during the rematch for the WCW World Tag Team titles causing the former champions a defeat against Harlem Heat.

Something which did not sit well with Dave's brother Kevin Sullivan. Kevin just loses it and starts kicking the crap out of his brother and rip the merchandise into shreds. Cactus Jack tell Kevin to back off, and Sullivan starts to leave, but comes back and attacks Cactus Jack as soon as he turns his back to check on Dave. Kevin breaks a steel chair over Cactus Jack's head causing a cavalcade of referees and officials to come out and herd Sullivan to the back.

Kevin yells that his brother and Cactus Jack have failed him.

Funk describes his hatred of The Rhodes. Col. Parker brags that he has headhunted some of the best and most experienced brawlers in the World to his stable and that nothing or no one in WCW is going to stop The Stud Stable from conquering all WCW titles.

"Mr Wonderful" Paul Orndorff makes a spectacular entrance showing narcissistic mannerism. He takes his time and flexes his muscles as he poses for the ladies in the crowd. He looks at Hogan with an arrogant smirk and says that he has unfinished business with Hogan. Mr Wonderful says that he is a superior wrestler, he has a better physique and are better looking than Hogan. If Hogan has the guts to face him, Mr Wonderful will show Hogan the most Wonderful Piledriver and take the title belt.

In a bout that had sensational wrestling and fantastic heat, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and "Stunning" Steve Austin defeated Sting and Ricky Steamboat in 23:58 when Ric Flair defeated Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat by submission with a Figure Four Leglock after distraction and interference from Elizabeth, Terri and Jeannie. Flair and Austin taunts and mocks their opponent while the crowd are booing. Steamboat isn't happy at all and wants to teach Austin a lesson, but Sting manages to calm him down and promise "The Dragon" that sooner or later he will get another chance.

In a short statement on their web site, WWF last night revealed that they had parted ways with Jim Ross after his contract had expired. No further information was given, other than them wishing him well. According to inside information there could some bad blood between Ross and WWF owner Vince McMahon.

According to inside information Dusty Rhodes was brought before the Wrestler's Court, accused of failing to pick up his share of the tab on the shared rental car. The judge, Vader, found him guilty and sentenced him to pay full cost and reimburse his travel partners. Dusty Rhodes has been unavailable to comment.

Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel interrupts the interview and informs Austin that he will face Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat at Clash Of The Champions. Austin isn't happy at all and tries to talk his way out of the match. Bockwinkel threatens to strip Austin of his title if he doesn't face The Dragon.

"Stunning" Steve talks about Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat's legendary career, saying he's beaten the best but he just cannot beat Steve Austin, and it's gonna drive Steamboat out of wrestling. Austin is the future and Steamboat is the past....

In a bout that had sub-par wrestling and little heat, Kevin Sullivan defeated Rikki Nelson and Sonny Rogers in a Handicap match in 4:56. A very focused Kevin Sullivan just came out and beat the crap out of jobbers Rikki Nelson and Sonny Rogers with particularly stiff moves. A vicious Double Stomp ends it.

After the match Mean Gene Okerlund makes an attempt at an interview, but Kevin Sullivan simply walks away without a word.

Bobby "The Brain" Heenan is very impressed by the match and says that it looks that old school Kevin Sullivan is back. Tony Schiavone is very concerned about Kevin Sullivan and is speculating on what could be wrong...

Dusty says that this feud is far from over. "You wanted money, you wanted fame. No escape from the things you put Dustin through. It's a nightmare coming back to you!" The Rhodes wants to get their hands on The Stud Stable. The Rhodes want revenge...

The former champion Ric Flair is still very self-confident and describe himself as the Greatest of All Time. "The Nature Boy" tells it like it is back in the 80s when the wheelin' dealin', kiss-stealin', limousine-ridin', jet-flyin', son-of-a-gun was the number one heel in pro wrestling. He's the dirtiest player in the game and the standard by which all pro wrestling bad guys are measured. At Clash Of The Champions Ric Flair will be victorious and once again win the WCW World Heavyweight title.
