Team Stinger - The faces need to pick up this win so you can set up the next challenger for Jarrett.

Jeff Jarrett - As cool as a Savage run would be (albeit likely a short one) I just can't see it in the cards. Jeff cheats to win and retains.

Rey Misterio - Unless you plan on busting him back down to the cruiserweight division, he keeps this train rolling by defending successfully.

Totally Buff - In all the teams who could stop them, it won't be this one.

Elix Skipper - I doubt you are going to want to run a face vs. face match, and we recently already saw Cash, Chavo, and Disco get shots. That just leaves Moore, Romeo, or Skipper, and I'm calling Elix the best of the three. Y'ALL KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS

Kanyon and Awesome - This is a (pardon the pun) awesome tag team, they could definitely go far if they get the chance to shine.

1. 38:24

2. Sting

3. Rick Steiner

Rey is all over Douglas in the opening moments of this one, using his speed and quickness to keep Douglas guessing, much to the rapidly growing frustration of "The Franchise". Douglas does eventually manage to make use of his veteran experience as he rolls out of the ring and regroups on the floor, a move Mike Tenay calls "sound strategy on the part of The Franchise" because it allows Douglas to slow the tempo of the match. After re-entering the ring, Douglas is able to take control of the match by using a combination of cheap tricks and mat-based wrestling to keep the Champion grounded while Bobby "The Brain" Heenan hails "The Franchise" as the next United States Champion. That prediction does not end up holding true, however, as Rey fights his way back into the match by switching the pace of the match back in his favor, stringing together a series of high-flying offense that ends with an impactful springboard tornado DDT that almost ends the match, but Douglas kicks out at two and a half. The finish comes when Douglas, after seemingly re-establishing control of the match, looks to put Rey away with the Franchiser, only for Rey to surprise Douglas by countering the move into a roll-up which is just exactly enough for the three count and a successful title defense for Rey.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rey Misterio Jr. defeated Shane Douglas at 12.55 by pinfall with a surprise roll-up. Douglas can't believe that Rey was able to catch him with the roll-up and he argues with the referee over the count, leading Tony Schiavone to conclude that Shane Douglas' hunt for the United States Title likely isn't over just yet.</p><p> </p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="44117" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p> </p><p> <img alt="TqDQ0Kz.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/TqDQ0Kz.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="YJdjdt3.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/YJdjdt3.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> As Tony, Mike and Bobby talk about the fact that the Cruiserweight Championship number one contender battle royal is coming up next, the WCW Cruiserweight Champion's music hits and Billy Kidman makes his way out from the back with Torrie Wilson at his side as always. As the announcers hype up the battle royal, Kidman and Torrie take a seat at ringside as Kidman apparently wants an up-close look at who his next challenger will be for the Cruiserweight Championship. <strong>(C+)</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">WCW Cruiserweight Championship Number One Contender Battle Royal</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="3WOT8i0.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/3WOT8i0.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />vs.<img alt="DeMllKw.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/DeMllKw.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />vs.<img alt="ueZNjIJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ueZNjIJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />vs.<img alt="O0I3vYs.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/O0I3vYs.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />vs.<img alt="NKRpVmw.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/NKRpVmw.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />vs.<img alt="pJHgcaB.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/pJHgcaB.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />vs.<img alt="apBZcci.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/apBZcci.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />vs.<img alt="4UbzsRf.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/4UbzsRf.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />vs.<img alt="yjZhkPT.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/yjZhkPT.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />vs.<img alt="9VqkZFJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/9VqkZFJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> With all ten men in the ring from the beginning, this one is off to a wild and chaotic style as the action is taking place all over the ring. Lash Leroux and Kid Romeo are both eliminated early on, Lash by Chavo Guerrero Jr. and Romeo by AJ Styles. AJ and Shannon Moore then go at it, continuing the rivalry that has been building for the past two weeks, but they do so at the expense of paying attention of everyone else in the ring, which makes them easy pickings for Disco Inferno and Cash, who sneak up behind them and eliminate them. "Primetime" Elix Skipper manages to eliminate Jamie Knoble, who still looks a little worse for wear after his match against "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner on Nitro, but Skipper takes too long to celebrate and he ends up eliminated at the hands of Chavo Guerrero Jr. We are down to Chavo, Cash, Disco Inferno and "Sugar" Shane Helms, and Cash and Disco, continuing their alliance from earlier in the match, team up to beat "Sugar" Shane down while Chavo just hides in the corner. Cash and Disco try to eliminate Helms, but Helms fights off both men and is able to get Disco over the top rope for the elimination. Cash then charges at Helms, but Helms ducks and pulls the top rope down and just like that "Sugar" Shane has turned a two one one situation around with two rapid fire eliminations. However, with Helms' back turned after eliminating Cash, the opportunistic Chavo Guerrero Jr. seizes the moment to leave his corner, run up behind Helms and dump him over the top rope to steal the victory out from under "Sugar" Shane.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Chavo Guerrero Jr. won a ten man battle royal at 11.41 after eliminating Shane Helms to be the last man standing. Savage says that he couldn't have imagined his return to WCW any better than coming back and winning Tag Team gold with Kevin Nash, but then Jeff Jarrett took that away from him. Savage says that what goes around comes around, ooohh yeah, and tonight it is his turn to take something away from Jeff Jarrett--the WCW World Heavyweight Championship! Dig it!!!!! Mike Tenay calls it an interesting point, but Bobby Heenan dismisses both of them, saying that The Chosen Ones are stronger than ever and this match was clearly added because Eric Bischoff is completely confident that Totally Buff can defeat Hugh Morrus and Animal here tonight. Whatever the case may be, we have ourselves a Tag Team Title match here at Fall Brawl and it is a match that is heavy on brawling with a lot of punches thrown. Otherwise this is a fairly standard tag team match with Totally Buff taking control by isolating Hugh Morrus and wearing him down for several minutes until he is able to fight back and make the hot tag to Road Warrior Animal, who comes in and starts cleaning house. Luger and Bagwell cheat to re-establish control as "The Total Package" hits a low blow on Animal behind the referee's back. The pattern of the match then repeats itself as Luger and Bagwell now isolate Animal until he is able to make the tag to Hugh Morrus, who starts cleaning house and this causes the match to finally break down. In the end, with Luger and Animal going at it at ringside, Buff Bagwell is able to hit the Buff Blockbuster on Morrus to pick up a rare clean victory for the Tag Team Champions.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Totally Buff defeated Hugh Morrus and Road Warrior Animal at 11.29 by pinfall when Bagwell pinned Morrus following a Buff Blockbuster. Jarrett says that Savage has had his time in the sun but he refuses to accept that it is over, that time has passed him by. He says that everyone thought Savage was retired and he should have taken that as a hint and just retired because nobody wants him around anymore. Jarrett says that tonight he isn't just defeating Savage and retaining his World Championship...he's also going to expose Savage for what he is; an old, broken down, has-been. As The Chosen One" walks off, "Mean" Gene calls Jarrett's words "strong" but he also wonders if perhaps he'll have to eat those words later tonight. <strong>(C+)</strong></p><p> </p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="44117" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">WCW World Heavyweight Championship</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Sk5LgZj.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Sk5LgZj.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="9umPviH.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/9umPviH.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />vs.<img alt="TTtujDA.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/TTtujDA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> As one might expect from these two, especially at this stage of Savage's career, this is not a fast-paced match by any stretch but rather an old school, slow-paced match with a lot of stalling from Jarrett early on. Tony notes that Savage pinned Jarrett this past Monday night on Nitro in the six man tag team match and he wonders if that loss has caused some doubt in the mind of the Champion. Once the match finally gets under way, it's all "Macho Man" early on as he pummels Jarrett in the corner with rights and lefts, the hits a couple of clotheslines, an inverted atomic drop, and finally one more clothesline that keeps the Champion down. Jarrett tries to roll out of the ring to catch his breath but Savage follows right after him and proceeds to beat "The Chosen One" all around the ring, much to the approval of the sell-out crowd. Savage gets Jarrett back in the ring, but a quick thumb to the eye finally allows Jarrett to catch his breath a little bit. Ignoring the referee's warnings, Jarrett hits a couple of uppercuts, a scoop slam, and then he applies a sleeper hold on Savage in the middle of the ring. The hold is locked in for a while, but Savage manages to fight his way back to his feet and hit a couple of elbows to force Jarrett to break the hold...only for Jarrett to quickly put Savage back down with a swinging neckbreaker. "The Chosen One" gets back to his feet and pulls out the Jarrett Strut, getting nothing but boos from the fans in return. Feeling confident, Jarrett signals that it's over and he sets Savage up for the Stroke...but Savage hits a belly to back suplex and now both men are down. Both men get back to their feet at roughly the same time but Savage beats Jarrett to the punch, blocking Jarrett's shot and connecting with his own. Savage unleashes a flurry of jabs, elbows and kicks and "The Chosen One" is reeling here.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="epiwJ9r.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/epiwJ9r.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="tjPJopW.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/tjPJopW.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> With Jarrett in trouble in the ring, the WCW Tag Team Champions, Totally Buff, make their way to the ring to no one's great surprise but to pretty much everyone's disapproval as the building fills up with boos. Luger and Bagwell both hit the ring but "Macho Man" is more than ready for them and he fights off both men and clotheslines them over the top rope one after another. The referee then makes the decision to leave the ring in an attempt to get Luger and Bagwell to return to the back, but amidst the chaos "The Chosen One" has, of course, grabbed his Acoustic Equalizer from under the ring and Savage turns around and walks right into a guitar shot from the World Champion. Jarrett then gets rid of the evidence and Luger and Bagwell are quick to direct the referee's attention to the ring once Jarrett's got the cover and 1...2...3! "The Chosen One" retains in controversial manner once again.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Jeff Jarrett defeated Randy Savage at 15.01 by pinfall when Jarrett pinned Savage following an Acoustic Equalizer. As the announcers wonder what Storm is doing out here, Storm enters the ring, gets on the mic and..."If I can be serious for a minute..." Storm is clearly an unhappy man here as he talks about his accomplishments and how, despite his accomplishments, he's not even on the card tonight. Storm says that he should be headlining and main eventing and yet he can't even get a match. Storm says that this country clearly doesn't appreciate skill, dedication and hard work because if that was the case he wouldn't get booed by ignorant Americans wherever he went. Storm finishes off his angry promo by saying that he won't even grace these people with the Canadian National Anthem because they aren't worthy to hear it. An attack before the bell has even sounded gives Kanyon and Awesome the advantage early on as they send Flair out of the ring and focus their two-on-one attack on "The Cat" in the ring while the referee attempts to get either Kanyon or Awesome out of the ring so the match can officially get started. Kanyon finally does leave the ring but at this point "The Cat" is already worn down and seemingly easy pickings for Mike Awesome, who looks to put "The Cat" away with an Awesome Bomb but "The Nature Boy" enters the ring and delivers a low blow to Awesome, and while the referee does warn Flair about it he doesn't call for the disqualification. Bobby Heenan is, of course, furious at this, but Mike and Tony both wonder if perhaps the referee is being lenient due to the way Kanyon and Awesome started the match. Flair's actions allow him to tag in and he goes to work with some knife edge chops on Awesome before focusing his attack on the right leg of the bigger, stronger Awesome, which Mike Tenay calls sound strategy on the part of the veteran Flair. Flair continues his attack but Awesome eventually fights back and both men tag in their partners. "The Cat" beats Kanyon to the punch with various martial arts kicks and suddenly "The Cat" is setting up for the Feliner...but Stacy Keibler is up on the apron and her presence causes "The Cat" to take his eyes off Kanyon as he argues with Stacy...and he pays the price for that a few seconds later when he turns and walks right into a Kanyon Kutter. Kanyon then covers "The Cat" and with Flair still down outside the ring there is nobody to interrupt the three count.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Chris Kanyon and Mike Awesome defeated "The Cat" and Ric Flair at 11.44 by pinfall when Kanyon pinned "The Cat" after hitting the Kanyon Kutter following a distraction from Stacy Keibler (C+)</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Miss Jones enters the ring after the match is over to check on "The Cat", who once again comes up short against Chris Kanyon, albeit this time in a tag team match. Both men talk about winning the match, with Sting talking about the importance of earning the right and honor to challenge for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against whoever the champion might be. Steiner talks about Sting's team being full of selfish guys who all want to win for themselves, while his team is a unit fighting for one thing; to ensure that the man with the largest arms in the world walks out as the new number one contender. Steiner predicts that Sting's partners are going to stab him in the back and claims that his team will function as a better unit because he's the clear captain. The kick takes Adams off his feet and Booker T has the first advantage of the night. As Booker continues to work Adams over, "The Professor" Mike Tenay talks about how this stage of the match is really all about wearing your opponent down while trying to conserve as much of your own energy as possible, noting that you cannot win the match at this stage but you can certainly lose it if you are not careful and you wind up using up all of your energy. Booker doesn't look too worried about running out of energy as he pulls out a spin-a-roonie early on in this one, then goes for the Axe Kick on Brian Adams, which he hits just as we pass the five minute mark of the match.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="4YiUXKD.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/4YiUXKD.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Bryan Clarke is out next and Tony explains that a coin toss earlier today determined that Team Scott Steiner would receive the third, fifth and seventh entry, meaning that for the next two minutess Booker T is facing a two on one situation. Clarke enters ring one as well as even though Booker tries to fight off both members of KroniK, he soon falls victim to the numbers game as Adams and Clarke proceed to use their two on one advantage to full effect as they beat Booker T down. Adams and Clarke hit a double vertical suplex, a double belly to back suplex and finally they whip Booker into the corner of the ring and both men charge in after him, one after the other, each of them hitting a hugely impactful clothesline on Booker. Tony notes that Booker is in a lot of trouble here, but thankfully for Booker two more minutes have passed and it's time for the next entry.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="7PSSM69.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/7PSSM69.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Entry number four is none other than the captain of Team Sting--the man himself! Sting enters ring one and, without hesitation, he takes the fight to both members of KroniK. Sting unleashes a flurry of punches and kicks on both men and then he positions them in opposite corners of ring one and runs back and forth between them, hitting one Stinger Splash after another. Booker T is back on his feet as well and he and Brian Adams end up battling in ring two while Sting continues to ride his momentum in ring one as he hits a russian leg sweep and a one handed bulldog on Bryan Clarke before letting out his signature "Woo!" much to the delight of the crowd who respond in kind. Meanwhile, in ring two, Brian Adams has gotten the upper hand on Booker T and he whips him hard enough into the ropes that Booker's chest collides with the steel cage that surrounds the ring.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="gBHsAwo.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/gBHsAwo.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> "The Dog-faced Gremlin" Rick Steiner is out next and he immediately targets Sting in ring one, attacking him from behind with some clubbing blows. While Brian Adams is putting the boots to Booker T in ring two, Rick Steiner hits a DDT on Sting in ring one and suddenly Team Scott Steiner is in control here. This remains true for the rest of this two minute period as Bryan Clarke gets back to his feet and joins Adams and Booker in ring two. KroniK hits their High Times double chokeslam on Booker T and then they head to ring one and join Rick Steiner for a brutal three on one beatdown of Sting. Tony notes that Team Sting desperately need their third entrant because Team Scott Steiner is doing some serious damage here and "Big Poppa Pump" hasn't even entered the match yet.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="YiAV5xv.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/YiAV5xv.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> The two minutes are finally up and "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash is out next for Team Sting. Nash heads straight for ring one where he manages to strike first as he takes Rick Steiner off his feet with a big boot, but then both members of KroniK attack him with clubbing blows from behind. Luckily for Nash and Team Sting, Booker T is back to his feet and he fights side by side with Nash to turn the match back in their favor, at least for the time being. Nash positions Brian Adams in one of the corners of ring one and goes to work with knee and elbow strikes, taking his time to carefully frame the last big elbow before showing off his strength as he picks Adams up and drops him face-first onto the turnbuckle snake eyes style. Nash then hits a sidewalk slam while Sting, on the other side of ring one, hits the Scorpion Deathdrop on "The Dog-faced Gremlin".</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="aiJ3oYx.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/aiJ3oYx.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> The two minutes are up again and it's time for the captain of Team Scott Steiner, "Big Poppa Pump" himself, to enter the match. Steiner enters ring one and immediately clotheslines Booker T over the top rope and into ring two. Nash tries to attack Scott from behind, but Scott is able to catch Nash and drop him with a belly to belly suplex. Scott gets back to his feet and when he does he locks eyes with Sting and the crowd loves the prospect of the two captains going at it, but before it can happen Rick Steiner attacks Sting from behind and the Steiner Brothers team up to beat Sting down while Brian Adams puts the boots to Nash and Bryan Clarke and Booker T go at it in ring two again, with Clarke driving Booker head-first into the steel cage. In ring one, the Steiner Brothers are also sending Sting into the steel cage repeatedly as the two minutes are up for the last time.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="qc8WHPD.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/qc8WHPD.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> DDP is the last man to enter the match and the announcers immediately speculate as to whether DDP is one hundred percent tonight after the attack he suffered at the hans of KroniK two weeks ago on Nitro. Page looks fine as he enters the match, however, stepping into ring two and firing off a couple of rapid fire Diamond Cutters, one to each member of KroniK. Page then heads to ring one where he come to the aid of Sting, who is still being double teamed by the Steiner Brothers. From here things slow down a bit as the brutal battle that is taking place in both rings is taking its toll on the competitors. Mike Tenay notes that this is where stamina and endurance comes into play because with eight men involved in the match at the same time it's not going to be easy for anyone to earn a submission because teammates will obviously be looking out for each other. This turns out to be absolutely true as there are several submission attempts over the next several minutes, but each time someone is there to break it up and save the match for himself and his team.</p><p> </p><p> As the match progresses it also becomes all the more brutal as the steel cage is used more and more frequently as all eight competitors start to tire and become more and more desperate to pick up the win and the World Title opportunity at Halloween Havoc. As a result of this, Diamond Dallas Page, Bryan Clarke and Kevin Nash are all busted open during the next several minutes of the match--DDP and Clarke after some less-than-pleasant encounters with the steel cage, and Kevin Nash after Midajah runs down to the rings and slips a lead pipe through the steel cage to "Big Poppa Pump", which he then uses on Nash. Scott uses the lead pipe on Sting as well as he drives it into Sting's ribs, but he is then disarmed by Booker T who drops Scott with a Harlem Sidekick. At this point Booker T is the only man standing in either of the rings, but not for long as Brian Adams comes up from behind and locks Booker in a sleeper hold. Booker starts to fade, but then counters the sleeper with a belly to back suplex and then all eight men are down--four in each ring.</p><p> </p><p> Tony calls it an all-out war and wonders if anyone will have anything left by the time this one is finished. After a few moments one man gets back to his feet in each ring: Sting in ring number one and Scott Steiner in ring number two. It looks like the two captains are about to go at it again as the last two men standing, but both men are suddenly attacked from behind! Scott Steiner is spun around by DDP and....DIAMOND CUTTER! Scott Steiner is down but in the other ring Sting is spun around by Rick Steiner. Rick goes for a clothesline but Sting ducks, grabs Rick and...SCORPION DEATHDROP!!! DDP collapses again in ring two, exhausted, but Sting has enough left in the tank in ring one to apply the Scorpion Deathlock on Rick Steiner. Bodies are laid out everywhere in both rings, but Kevin Nash slowly staggers to his feet in ring one and, seeing Rick Steiner locked in the Scorpion Deathlock, it looks like "Big Sexy" is about to break up his own team captain's submission hold....but Nash, also exhausted like everyone else, can't get there is time, Rick Steiner submits, and War Games is finally over!</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Team Sting defeated Team Scott Steiner at 40.34 by submission when Sting forced Rick Steiner to submit to the Scorpion Deathlock. <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">WCW News And Notes - Post-Fall Brawl Edition</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

The mood backstage at Fall Brawl was said to have been quite good, partially due to Jeremy Borash showing some initiative and arranging a poker tournament which took place before the show. </p><p> </p><p>

Also, veterans Diamond Dallas Page and Scott Steiner were both seen giving advice to some of the younger guys in the locker room, with DDP giving some valuable tips to Johnny Swinger and James Storm on how to be a babyface and how to get the crowd behind them, while Scott Steiner was seen giving Johnny The Bull some tips on how to improve his mic work.</p><p> </p><p>

Additionally, AJ Styles and Lex Luger have been getting along well lately and it appears that a friendship has developed between the two men.</p><p> </p><p>

As for the event itself, Fall Brawl went off practically without a hitch, the only minor problem being that "Macho Man" Randy Savage originally wasn't too pleased with the plans for him to lose to "The Chosen One" Jeff Jarrett in the World Title match. This issue was worked out, however, after a few changes were made to the match which allowed Savage to look a little bit stronger in defeat. The finish of the match was not changed, however, as the plan had always been for Jarrett to beat Savage the way that he did.</p><p> </p><p>

After the show, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair was pointed out as a good example to the rest of the locker room after Flair agreed to put Chris Kanyon and Mike Awesome over on the show without objection. It is believed that the move was also made as an attempt to make Flair feel a little bit more appreciated in WCW as Flair is said to still be unhappy with the way that he has been used in recent months. In addition to Flair, "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner was complimented for putting in a strong performance during the War Games match, and "Macho Man" Randy Savage was given some encouragement as management is said to be very happy with Savage's return so far.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<p>It is once again time for the prediction contest results, but first, Smasher1311 is correct that he got closest to guessing the length of the War Games match so that point went to him. As for the overall results... as it turns out we've got a repeat of the last one as the winners are...</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>DGenerationMC and Satyr24 who both got 25 hits</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

Closely followed by Beejus and Crackerjack who got 24 hits</strong></p><p> </p><p>

So congratulations to both DGenerationMC and Satyr24 for picking up back to back wins. You'll each receive a prize in your inbox as soon as I figure out what the second prize is going to be as I only had one lined up <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

And, as always, thank you to everyone who follows and/or predicts on The Quest. Your support is greatly appreciated.</p>

Good job with Fall Brawl! Nothing that happened really came as much of a shock, but this is a post-Russo WCW, the last thing you need is random swerves to make the crowd think that's what you're all about again! Sting vs. Jarrett at the next PPV should be really fun, I look forward to seeing what you have in store for us.

I did feel like Fall Brawl was a bit...I don't want to say run-of-the-mill but I did feel like the two teams in the War Games match ended up being too uneven in terms of star power, making it a bit too obvious which team was going to win. I tried to even it out a bit by having KroniK return in a big way but...yeah. Overall I'm happy enough with the PPV and I'm very excited about what's coming up over the next couple of months as we head toward Starrcade.</p>
